On November 3rd, 2013 - Kim Jae Joong returns with his first full album WWW : Who, When, Why.
He also will starts Kim Jae Joong 1st Album Asia Tour Concert, having a press conference at COEX on November 3rd, 2013 ago.
WWW album manage to ranked 4th in Japan Oricon Charts. He doesn't released a separate Japanese album, his Korean album also got good sales number in Japan, showing his global popularity.

Jae Joong also gonna have solo concert in Japan and will meet around 6000 fans to show his gratitude for their supports.
His album includes plenty of rock genre songs, and also gathered plenty talented artiste.
Jae Joong also ranks first in itunes chart in 12 countries.

In the press conference, Kim Jae Joong explained his new album concept also the meaning of the album title Who, When, Why.
"Because I think they are the most basic and primitive words in love. If you are in love, you must have a partner and most importantly is when and why you fall in love. Thats how the title decided."
Jae Joong also explained why he choose the rock genre again, "Actually, in the begining when i said i am gonna bring rocks, people around prohibited although there was some recomends it. Eventhough I like this genre since I was small, I was worried that it'll be forced into profesionally.

"Then I thought that it will be not so bad to challenge and try a new genre. I have an ambition to make an album that can show more colour of my own. This album got alot of influence from Kim Bada senior. I really wanna show a unique colour in this main song."

In this album, Jae Joong colaborated with singers from plenty of genre such as Takuro from a Japanese band called GLAY, Yoon Dohyun, NOEL - Lee Sanggon, Ha Dongkyun, or Yong Junhyung BEAST.
He expressed his gratitude to those artiste, "Takuro came to JYJ concert in Tokyo Dome before through a friend recomendation. After watching the concert, he admits that he wants to write a good song and gave it to me as present.
Ha Dongkyun senior worried when working together for pop punk song Luvholic. He said he never tried an optimist song before, but it was great. It makes me really happy."

Kim Jae Joong then share his feelings, "There was things when I tried and fight. In the last 10 years, I have tried to challenge myself to reach many things. Now the upcoming 10th anniversary, everything is not turning into a "repeat" but "return". My goal for now is to re-arrange back to the begining level.

"Returning back to basic means that 'I must be humble' but also got other significant. In this business, therr is moments that needs big stimulation. For me, the biggest worry and the most difficult time is when can't feel the pain of growing." Kim Jae Joong added.

"While returning to begining, setting new goal and feels the pain of growth, I want to give the satisfaction to many people. Personally I think this new album is the most complexs, build with big music. This will become happy and proud moments when not just fans, but public society also hear my album." he affirmed.

On January 20th, Jae Joong released repackage album pertainjng 2 new songs including a Japanese remake song Make-Up. The repackage sub title is Erasing Make-Up. His Y repackaged album sold out in short time and ranks first in Thailand, Japan, and Philipines itunes chart. 50 thousand of the album pre-order sold out immediately and request for additional copies is flooding.

Responding to his success in his solo career, Jae Joong donates to UNICEF in behalf of JYJ.

This repackage album also got music video from the main track of the previous album Just Another Girl. With a DVD containing the music video, also clips from behind the scene of the making of the video clip.

In this album, there is a pop ballad genre song called Make-Up that is written by Jae Joong himself. Make-Up itself is a remake from a Japanese song, and Jae Joong re-written the lyrics.

Jae Joong's solo debut goes smoothly. Recently Jae Joong received a 4th for 2013 Singer Award from Hanteo chart. This chart also announce album sales number for 2013, and Jae Joong's solo album is in the top 5.

About “Mine”:

Album «Mine» was a bit of shock therapy for both fans and skeptics – it looks like the unexpected heavy sound of his 1 single and main composition was something intentional: as if to say: “I want to and I will (do what I want), be afraid”.

About WWW: 

But there is a reason why I described (WWW) as “legit” – indeed, in this album there is nothing far-fetched. It doesn’t have some kind of glamorous plateresque, it isn’t overflowing, neither is it an comical attempt to become “the second someone”, it isn’t bombastic or pretentious too.

Yes, it’s a cyborg, collected from the songs of various authors – starting from the performer (JJ) himself, as well as other Korean and foreign composers – and set in motion by guest musicians.

But, on the one hand, the wide range of participants made this album diverse: as if each song “scoops up” something from the bottomless depths of the alternative rock.

And on the other hand, within this cyborg beats living human heart – it’s (WWW) winningly sincere and natural.All compositions on this CD are connected by restrained, but expressive and rich in its tiniest shades of tones vocal, which emotionality compensates the obvious problems of not understanding the lyrics by non-Korean listeners.

And just this emotional “fullness” and self-sufficiency categorically denies all the fears that may be caused by the status of the artist (JJ being an idol and all).

But the thing, that pleases even more, is that WWW isn’t artificial or pretentious. In it, oddly enough, there is a “garage” roughness, simplicity and honesty, not achievable in the “laboratory conditions”. It was created with a sincere desire to record a live album, not smothered by redundant efforts to “make it nice”.

What this work lacks is bigger musical courage, brightness and originality. A significant part of the material on it was boring in its secondary (something similar was heard before). In addition, it would be desirable to increase the degree of juiciness and drive. But I strongly doubt, that all these wonderful characteristics could have been achieved, by working with freelance musicians over the debut album under time pressure. Perhaps it will come later, along with the confidence, the right people and desire to go further. In the meantime, Kim Jaejoong introduced to the world an album, which at minimum he won’t regret creating in the future and which, although doesn’t claim to be a masterpiece, has become a phenomenon unique to the South Korean music industry.
