Yoo Seung-ho selected as new face for Adidas

Actor Yoo Seung-ho, 22, has been selected as the new face of sports fashion brand Adidas, PR company Imok Communications said Monday.

Yoo will model for the “Ultra Boost Campaign” for Adidas’ running shoes line.

A representative of Adidas said, “Yoo Seung-ho’s urban chicness and compelling energy accorded well with our campaign.”

Yoo finished his military service last December and returned to the entertainment scene with lead role in film “Josun Magician,” slated for release in the latter half of this year.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho recently filmed a pictorial with sports brand ADIDAS for the latest issue of ‘HIGH CUT’ fashion magazine, where he showed off his athletic masculine charms.

In the pictorial, Yoo Seung Ho is seen coming to a laundromat, after working out a sweat dressed in ADIDAS sporting wear and sneakers. With his every pose, Yoo Seung Ho sheds off his youthful image, and oozes charms that makes female fans’ hearts flutter with excitement.

Yoo Seung Ho’s Comeback Film “The Magician” Poster Revealed

ActorYoo Seung Ho‘s comeback film “The Magician” has released an official poster that have caught many eyes during the 2015 Asian Film Market.

In the poster, Yoo Seung Ho looks very charismatic with his long hair and piercing glare. One of the things fans are most curious about is why his right eye is blue.

A pamphlet of the upcoming movie was also released during the 2015 Asia Film Market event. In the pamphlet, fans could see sneak peeks of different scenes in the movie featuring the lead female actress Go Ara.

Lotte Entertainment stated, “We couldn’t reveal much during the [Asia Film Market] panel because we are still in post-production. However, the poster seems to be very popular. Many people took our pamphlet.”

“The Magician” is about a magician living in the Joseon Dynasty who is in a risky relationship with a girl. He then gets swept up in rumors that ultimately puts his life on the line. It is slated to premiere in December.

Actor Yoo Seung-Ho is cast in MBC every1 drama series IMAGINARY CAT.

The drama series is based on the webcomic "Sangsanggoyangi” by Kim Gyung. This is Yoo Seung-Ho's first drama series acting role since he was discharged from the military on December 4, 2014.

In drama series IMAGINARY CAT, Yoo Seung-Ho plays an aspiring webcomic writer who also works part-time at a bookstore. He lives with his cat Boggi.

IMAGINARY CAT first airs this November on South Korean cable channel MBC every1.

Yoo Seung Ho Comes Back With the First Cat-Themed Drama in Korea

Actor Yoo Seung Ho will be greeting his fans through a new drama airing in November!

Although he has already filmed two movies prior to this, fans will be able to see him on the small screen before the big screen.

MBC every1′s new drama titled “Imagine Cat (tentative title)” is a remake of the popular webtoon of the same name. Anticipation rises as this is the first cat-themed drama in Korea.

The plot takes into account a human’s perspective and a cat’s perspective as they live together and heal each other’s scars.

Yoo Seung Ho will play the role of Hyun Jong Hyun, who is a webtoon artist and has a part-time job at a bookstore. His life is full of dreams but he runs into conflicts due to his stubbornness and self-centered personality. His only outlet is his pet cat, who comforts and encourages him to persevere.

The actor is actually known for his love of cats, so many fans are quite thrilled to see him in this drama.

“Imagine Cat” will start airing near the end of November.

Well this is certainly surprising drama casting news, not that I’m going to look a gift cat in the mouth. My baby boy Yoo Seung Ho has finally taken the jump with a drama project after nearly a year since his military service discharge. I can’t believe it’s been that long already, not that he’s wasted any time what with filming sageuk movie The Joseon Magician and doing plenty of CF and entertainment related activities. Yoo Seung Ho will be headlining cable network MBC Every 1‘s upcoming drama Imaginary Cat (or Imagination Cat)

Yoo Seung-ho to make small screen comeback with 'Imaginary Cat'

Yoo Seung-ho is returning to small screen with "Imaginary Cat".

On October 8th, MBC Every 1 has announced, " Yoo Seung-ho will star in "Imaginary Cat" with 8 episodes in total, which is slated to begin in the end of November this year.

Drama, "Imaginary Cat" is based on the web-toon with the same title, which will be the first drama to tell the story of cats for the first time in Korea. A human and a cat, who have each one's own mental wound, live together and heal the wounds through the co-habitation.

Yoo Seung-ho plays Hyeon Jong-hyeon, a student part time worker at a bookstore. Although he has many dreams to achieve on his list, he goes through a lot of troubles due to his stubborn and self-centered ideas. He is solaced by his companion cat Bok-gil, the only being, which opened up one's mind to Hyeon Jong-hyeon (Yoo Seung-ho). He works hard to make a living for his cat Bok-gil.

In drama series REMEMBER, Yoo Seung-Ho will play a man with Hyperthymesia which allows him to remember everyday in perfect detail. He becomes a lawyer to prove his father's innocence, but he becomes afflicted with Alzheimer's.

Yoo Seung Ho to possibly take the lead in drama 'Remember'

We thought the upcoming drama 'Imaginary Cat' would be Yoo Seung Ho's first drama after returning from his military service, but he might take on another drama before that!

He's been reported to be considering the lead role in the upcoming SBS drama 'Remember'. A representative from Yoo Seung Ho's side told Asia Today, "It's true that Yoo Seung Ho received the acting offer for 'Remember', but nothing is confirmed. It is one of many offers he is positively reviewing."

The rep added, "Right now, we have to decide on the schedule and general situation, so it won't be an easy decision."

'Remember' is about a man who becomes a lawyer to reveal his father's innocence. He used to have hyperthymesia (a condition that causes the sufferer to have an extremely detailed autobiographical memory), but suddenly loses his memories.

'Remember' is set to air after 'The Village: Achiara's Secret' on SBS.

Actor Yoo Seung-ho is coming back with "Remember". This is the first time in 3 years he's coming back since the MBC drama "I Miss You". Netizens are cheering on this fact and are highly anticipating his comeback.

The fact is that this is Yoo Seung-ho's first major drama since the discharge from the military.

"Remember" is a drama about a man with absolutely perfect memory becoming a genius lawyer. Yoo Seung-ho plays the genius Seo Woo-bin. When his father is framed by the higher social class, he becomes a lawyer to prove his father's innocence. Being the youngest lawyer , Seo Woo-bin struggles to find the criminal before his memory runs out.
