from the photoshoots and the MV he seems cute..

and from the performance he did very well..

I think his playing was definitely "hand-synced". Because if you noticed no wires were plugged into to connect to the speaker. Nonetheless, it is definitely not easy to play the violin while doing his kind of dance moves.
