  1. Sorry -- NOT SORRY!  I will never accept the "Woody Allen/Soon-Yi Previn" relationship that so many seem to think is okay.  I know this is just a drama, but this is too much and one reason I stopped watching.  Except for the stellar acting by the the uncle, everyone else was as expected.  So many who have posted comments seem to be so disgusted by JH's actions, but YS is no better when it comes to her obsession with GS.  Why is it okay for one and not the other?  We all have our own different moral compasses by which we live, and that's fine; but, is there a line that should not be crossed in the name of entertainment?  They are All damaged goods!  I give this drama 2 thumbs down.

  2. The ending of ep.97 is pathetic!  How can GS get hit on the back of the head with a pipe coming from the left side and have a bloody temple and forehead on the right?  Go ahead, please send him on to Kdrama heaven with that stage work. I've never liked his weak-minded character anyway.  Maybe the hit will make him man up or have permanent amnesia.  As for YS, I've never liked her character either or the way she treated others.  Masked in all that doormat pseudo- sweetness, I see selfishness.

  3. As one who thought that I would not like this type of drama, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm not understanding the big deal about the romance.  There is so much that has happened and kept me coming back, that I could care less if the two leads end up romantically involved.  I have appreciated learning about this genre, and I hope to see more like it.  I am not familiar with the lead actress but am a fan of SJK because I have not seen him in a role that did not suit him.  I'm good with the bad guy getting rid of the worse guy and all the tenants getting a share of that gold.  The End!

    :ok:

  4. This drama has me confused. Is it a comedy or not?  I'm watching initially because I love listening to Joon Ki's voice.  However, I can't stand the over-the-top bad acting or character of the lady attorney.  I was really hoping the storyline was more like the beginning, but I'll stick with it for now.  So, this is black comedy?

  5. I really despise the character JE and the way she is so nasty to SJ. I think he was too mature for her.  She was a spoiled brat who couldn't get her way.  Her family was exceptionally cruel to him, but she wanted him to cower to them.  I hope she gets everything from JM's father that her family dished out to SJ.

Okay.  I'll go back to the real world! LOL

  6. Ro Na is nothing but a spoiled BRAT who needs a good old-fashioned butt whoopin'!  She is so disrespectful to her mother.  What took the cake for me was when she screamed at her mother saying she MADE her go to that school.  Mom is weak!  She lets EVERYONE including her daughter get away with saying anything they want to her without argument, defense, or hands.  I'm not a violent person, but I could be when it comes to my child.

He will never man up. These fathers in the kdrama never do. They let their wives do whatever they want. Even if their wife chooses to kill someone they would want to protect them. It doesn’t make sense to me but that is what they do.
By the way do any of you think there is a birth secret involved in this drama. I keep getting that vibe smh smh

@UnniSarah,  You are so right about wimpy fathers.  Let’s not forget all the clueless, never know what’s going on fathers who miraculously are the CEOs of big corporations.

Thank you for the info. It was so sad. But are we talking about the same movie? it was about a mentally challenged man Charlie. Charlyne is the remake?

If this show were American, there is a possibility it will break our hearts, but I have faith in the power of the Korean ajummas, we will see TP staying as he is and YR being dragged to prison. First, she will be humiliated by SJ who prefers her kimbap selling ordinary sister to her. Then TP also prefers the ordinary sister then the trip to prison.

I wonder if she will try to use the kid to trap TP/MY again.

Please forgive my typos.  The 1968 movie is Charly starring Cliff Robertson.  The 2000 remake is Flowers for Algernon starring Matthew Modine as Charly.
