I've been so busy in the last few days. Thought I should check up on this forum and I always feel like @sakura2016 & @Berou are trying to make me have a heart attack LOL
THOSE GIFS. THOSE SILENT CRYING SCENES. HIS SOFT TEARS FALLING DOWN THAT ARE SO GOOD. UGH. Ahhhhhhhhhh, I love it all. Seeing how most of the gifs are from Remember, makes me miss the drama.....I already have so much on my plate. LOL i will watch that drama again one day as YSH's dramas rerun ahaha

@googleme I feel like the negative response is more on what article itself. whoever wrote the article above seems to have their own opinion and dislike on KSH & JCW being chosen as the voice dubs for the film. I've read the comments and many are critiquing the journalist more on the article than the actors. Some comments say that it isn't the blame of the actors. Many even voice that KSH voice is very good and clear for the role.

I think Sidus is a company that handles their artists pretty well. I feel as if people just dislike KSH with the company is due to the pure fact she is compared a lot to KYJ, a label mate and friend at the same time. Certain factors of how KSH keeps being in dramas while KYJ aren't keep being targeted as if it's her fault. But anyone who knows KYJ, knows that she is considerably picky with her choice of dramas. It has nothing to do with KSH.
Honestly? Regardless where she goes, I really don't mind for it. I'll still support her but I do hope that SHE DOES NOT HEAD TO YG. I really dislike that company for having so many actors under them and it seems as if they don't handle their artists well.
With Sidus, they provide us with so many BTS pictures and videos when KSH has projects and CFs. The company doesn't mistreat her as far as we can see through media eyes. But it's KSH choice and she is no matter a talented, amazing and good hearted girl who will have fans anywhere she goes. So, no doubt, she'll still do amazing on her own.
EDIT: Trailer for Your Name (Korean Dub Ver. Movie) that KSH is taking part in. All money will proceed to donations. Release date is July 13.

ahhh yes! I'm so glad to have met you and everybody so far! Im not active on forum that much in the last year or so. I got back into it just for now, I'm pretty sure I'll be under the rock again once Ruler is over. YSH's MIA will also be the reasoning for me being gone for a while lol
awww I get emotional too! Maybe because I am bias but I tend to cry awfully more with YSH's dramas. (A few other fave actors like KSH) but if I do watch other dramas and still cry more. Is it bad that I tend to cringe more in rom coms? ahahahha!
If somebody every makes a compliation of YSH's emotional crying scenes in one video, I might just lose it. ahahaha.

ahahaha! I love how you said "going against my nature for YSH" @sakura2016 it's ironic because I mostly go against my nature when I watch rom coms lol
I can totally understand tho. heavy, emotional and thrillers dramas tend to be too much at times and it's hard to pull back from reality when you watch too much dark stuff. always keep a good balance between dramas then! sometimes when I'm bored and I finish a melodrama, I tend to watch a rom com next.
dont you just want to hug him when he doubts himself?! ugh, my heart. I think it's one of the reasons why I love him tho. at the end of the day, he stays humble and cautious of his own self rather than others. he works hard himself and I feel like that self confidence that he is missing one day will come and he will be prouder of himself as an actor. those constant praises from sunbaes and hoobaes makes me happy because he deserves all the love and praises.

@Berou & @sakura2016 ahhh! HEARTLESS CITY!! I agree! It was very detailed and very good! I was one of those people who were upset that it didn't get that much attention. Noir dramas aren't considerably well loved internationally or domestically at least.
ah, tunnel is most definitely good! OCN has been releasing such good dramas this year, worth spending some time watching it. moment can be a bit ehh and slow but altogether, they're more detailed and more involved with the characters than anything else. Which is why I hope YSH gets an offer from a cable drama soon. It'll be nice to venture out of the big 3 for a bit and try a cable channel.
CRIES! SAME! You can always tell by his eyes that there's such doubt in him and it makes me wonder, whyyyyyy? He's so loved and cared for with his personality and acting skills. But you know what they say - words from others are nice to hear but whether you feel like so is more important. one day, I hope we can see the day where YSH can confidently stand and be proud on being such an amazing actor (;

@Berou yes! TUNNEL was one of faves dramas this year! Choi Jin Hyuk really did amazing in that role! I especially loved how connected every single thing was till the end in that drama! ahah yes! CEO especially the ones who had a hard time connecting with people, they do tend to be awkward! YSH would be able to nail that perfectly so well ahaha!
how'd you know that I thought of KSH with the twins ahaha! they would challenge him and that would be so good for us to see but also himself. Sometimes when I look at YSH, we know that at times he doubts his own capability as an actor so I feel like the more challenges there are, the more confidence he can gain with each given role.
@sakura2016 a rom com would be so nice to see. I hope he does that later in the future tho, one he gains experiences in his own life - he can do so well with those lovey dicey scenes. ageyo is use so much for rom coms. YSH has a natural ageyo to him that comes out without trying but I feel as if it'll be hard for him to do it through acting so it'll be really nice once those experiences occur in his life and he can challenge himself w/ those roles. I feel like rom coms with actors in their 30s are more doable for most people, less cheesy in a sense AHAHHA

1) a sadistic murderer on the loose with his own sad story like a childhood that caused him to be like this (I dislike the ones that have these killers motivating all these murders without a reasoning) I feel like YSH would do so amazing carrying on heavy emotions that a character would have as a child.
2) a cold hearted CEO for a company who strives to do only the best and be involve with the best that has a bit of a greed. YSH could be so amazing with his hair always styled up and a suit on half the time (Remember had him in such good outfits lol) but this character could be cold hearted but instantly become sweet and caring towards people or things that make him happy
3) TWINS. If he could play twins in like a movie with two total different personalities, that would be so nice to see. One could be the slapstick kind, the one that people love and the one who provides all sorts of laughter around him. And the other could be more of the serious kind of yearns for the love that his twin always gets from others
4) detective - one of my dreams is for him to take upon a role in a drama that handles hard crimes. He could play a character that get easily into a case and let his emotions get the best of him. each case portrays his own personal struggle and how he takes care of the victims and criminals could showcase so much of his talent as an actor
am I being too greedy? I could go on forever lol

@Berou @sakura2016 ahhh! ofc no glamorizing villains! but we gotta admit, some villains have the most heartwrenching stories ever.
yes, more likely that he plays a villain in movies than dramas. I think if he takes part in a movie with a heavy duty cast, it's possible that he could stand out as a villain instead of the hero with missions and morals lol
hehe! I knew he could do it as Harry. I think when I was typin earlier, I was still imagining the whole "psycho killer on the loose" concept. I was thinking of a sadistic smile as he kills LOL I'm so horrible. we were just talking about how he can never stop being so adorably handsome and I fear he won't stop if he takes a role like that lol

@Berou omg when you said psycho characters like Kim Jae Wook in Voice, I literally got chills on my body imagining if YSH played a role like that.
I agree with you. this year and last year was literally the year of the villains. if YSH could take another role, I hope it's something that can definitely challenge him. I much rather him take upon a movie role and maybe a sadistic on the loose murderer with psychological problems. roles like that could definitely challenge him. for example, even the tiniest bit of a smile - his eye smiles appears. It would be interesting to see such a twist on his smiles if he plays a role like that.
ofc that's if luck is upon us and a proper writer/director could take their interest on YSH and offer a script that could go beyond the world. I really dislike cliche cheesy kind of dramas so if it could be a thriller seeking type, that would be good. Does it seem like the theme this year for dramas is running from being framed? There's like two/four dramas this year with the same concept but all had been so pleasingly different and challenging.
So, it'll be nice to see YSH taking roles like such. anything different than being a downright hero w/ morals lol but if he does take another role like such, we'll just have to support him.
This reminds me ;; after wrap up party - we may not see him for a while /: ahhhhh // wonder if he at least has a CF lined up lol

YSH definitely cut his hair ahaha, he's so adorable. I keep looking at the wrap up party and felt relieved that he at least still has a bit of his adorable chubby cheeks when he smiles.
I was worried that he got as skinny as he did in Seondal but it's a bit better ahah. (Just by a small margin tho. If filming was still going on, he would've hit the weight he did like in the movie) hope he had fun and ate plenty of food at the party and after party!

@sakura2016 his announcement to enlist was really unexpected. I was in school at that time so I missed the announcement. so when I came home, I was a mess. ahaha, I was like "WHAT?!" But I had a feeling he would do something like that tho. He's one of the rare celebrities that take action upon their enlistment. so glad that he didn't push it farther, we have more time with him now! he's still so young and he has more chances to do so many other things in life now. besides filming, most importantly having time for himself, family and friends.
yes! army life matured and gave him so many experiences. I love it (:
@Berou oh goodness! that drama made me shake heads more than anything! i didn't understand her logic either! although harry was bad and he did what he did, his love for her was still so earnest in those passing years. half the things she did or kept saying around harry gave him so much hope, ya know? at that time, I could understand why YSH took the role as Harry like how he took the role as the antagonist in Warrior Baek Dong Soo. Originally, he was offered the leading role for there but he wanted to challenge himself and be the bad guy for once. When he took the role as Harry, I remember feeling "why do I feel so much pain already" from just reading the character description ahaha
it is upsetting /: it's been 2.5 years since his discharge and it seems like his luck w/ things aren't that great. Remember is definitely a stand out so far out of the special drama, movies and Ruler so far. Hopefully, one day our shy adorable handsome man can shine through his greatness so everybody can see what an amazing person he is.
