a day that was supposed to be filled w/ happiness and joy, let's not let anything bring us down anymore. for those who call us, people who imagine too much things or people who are just trying to create a "loveline". I want to make sure that it is clear that as a fan of SA, there is a clear difference between us & the other ship.
Foremost and most importantly, we respect and love JK & JH EACH INDIVIDUALLY.
As a longtime kdrama/variety fan for as long as ten years, I've known both of them as SEPERATE people first. Obviously, they both have careers outside of RM that will remain popular. When I watched X-MAN, I mainly watched for YJS/KDH but I knew HAHA & JK bc of their dancing in the intro and ofc, the infamous loveline. Keep in mind, I could careless about that loveline. It was the only thing that bothered me about XMAN. The constant teasing and screen time of it during those years was VERY exhausting to watch. Not only it felt like it was too much but you could sense that it gave a whole barrier between JK & EH. Like JH, JK was only limited to be remembered as a loveline during his XMAN days. If I can remember right, his turbo days or what not weren't mentioned as often as the loveline. It was limited and something he had to be attached to. Once XMAN ended, he jumped into FO w/ JS again and once again, a loveline was formed. It's a drag really. We all know that KJK is a man of honor, loyalty, strength, endurance and kindness. As as SA fans, we SEE and KNOW about him. He isn't just some kind of guy that was in 2-3 lovelines, we know his form of talent and his great commanding leadership when he needs to be. He is well respected in the entertainemnt field NOT because of the lovelines he was in BUT because of everything he has went through in life. He was betrayed by a company, went through changes in turbo, was ridiculed about the military - countless times he has been through things and he endured. The career he has built and have right now as Kim Jong Kook isn't because he's a "man" or because of RM, it's due to his patience and hard enduring work.
As for JH, this is an actress that has been in the headlines more than once BEFORE RM. She was the hated character from Goong, she was the woman who has done racy scenes in Frozen Flower. In her PAST variety appearances before RM, she has stated before that she doesn't mind taking risks as an actresses. As long as she has a good feeling about the script and feels as if this is the sort of message she wants to give, she'll do it. Regardless of what she has to do in the drama/movies. Granted, she wasn't as known before RM but she has worked hard from day one in her career. From movies to dramas to variety, this is a woman who always does things out of ordinary than others. JH had to endure with people only remembering her from Frozen Flower. And for 7 years, she had to endure with people only remembering her as Monday Girlfriend. She became limited on what she can do as a woman during RM. Worse, she couldn't even love or date properly bc she was being attacked or ridiculed bc it wasn't "Gary". No matter how many times she had to remind people that she and Gary don't meet outside of filming or the fact that she does love Gary but as family, people choose to ignore it and call her a "cheater". She endured through the MOST RIDICULOUS HATE or ATTACKS by some fans bc of this one loveline. As an independent woman and individual, she wanted to advance her work as an actress and do dramas, but people only viewed her as ACE JIHYO for some time. In the last 2 years, it was a sigh of relief when people slowly started recognizing that, "YES, I am ALSO an actress" Despite all she went through, she stood strong and kept improving with each project she has taken part of. This is a woman who is willing to take those chances that others wouldn't. This is a woman who stood on her own against 6-7 males on a show. This is a woman who still works hard and achieve the love of neitzens despite being looked upon as only "that actress with those bed scenes" or "the girlfriend on Monday." No, she won't be labeled as such things. She has and will work hard through everything. The career that she is building and have earned is DUE to her HARD WORK, not just because of some kind of label.
Whatever may think, this is 2017 now. A woman CAN work hard in her career and be mother/wife to a family. A man CAN work hard through the hardship and quietly stand back for the person he loves to shine in the limelight. This isn't the generation where Man has to do that or a woman has to do this.
AS SA fans, what we love them together BESIDES their natural envolving closeness IS because of how well they work together. JK lets JH takes the lead sometimes & vice versa. They share ALOT of similarities together. For example, they work hard to not let ONE loveline label them into a limited area during their careers. They will always advance individually as a person - whether it's together or seperately.
We, SpartAce fans, respect and love them for purely those reasons.

Okay, first of all - this episode didn't FORCE anything. They didn't push a relationship, did they? no.
JH's main job is an ACTRESS. It was for years before she joined RM. Yes, she doesn't have a hit drama but that doesn't disregards her occupation as an actress. There ARE ALOT OF ACTRESSES who have SUCKY dramas but just as popular. RM is what made her hit towards fame, yes but it has also given her ALOT of opportunities to expand her reputation. Her brand as an actress is growing and she will still improve each and every project. Just because RM ends, that doesn't mean her career will end. You can't just fully think that. That's like saying the same things to KS, who rose to fame due to RM too. But as an actor himself, he is also improving and inching away from his SAME FUNNY characters lately in dramas. JH will have her time and day with a drama, BECAUSE SHE IS AN ACTRESS not just some person on a variety show.
TODAY's episode wasn't about OPENING a new loveline, if they wanted to do that, THEY WOULDVE DONE THAT AS SOON AS GARY LEFT. I doubt a loveline is possible in 7 episodes left.
It just pisses me off that people think JH or KS won't last long in the entertainment once RM ends. Why do people think that? Because they are too involved or they're just popular from RM? People keep forgetting that first and foremost they're actors. Their main job is to do dramas and films. Yes, RM gave them more drama opportunites BUT I KNOW JH & KS will still be as popular as they are now once RM ends. They work hard, HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
And about how marriage can "ruin her career" bc she'll be stuck at home being a wife or mother. That's false. Sure, whoever or whenever she marries, she'll be away for a while BUT she can still act once she bounces back. THERE ARE A TON OF ACTRESSES who are married but still has a career. (lee bo young etc.)

@Chi Le how could you say JH doesnt have a career outside of RM? She's been an actress for more than 10 years. Granted, her work isn't as known but SHE IS AN ACTRESS WHO WORKS HARD. Her last drama, she received countless of praises for her improvement and how she matched her role perfectly. So no, SHE DOES have a career outside of RM & she will manage and do perfectly fine.

honestly whether they're close siblings or are dating, I feel like each fanbase for them individually would support whoever JK & JH chooses to date or later on marry. maybe the idea of spartace being together for some people are really far fetched. while THAT another ship, chooses to slander/attack JK's IG or the PD about tonight's episode. or JK's fans & JH's fans, whatever they think, close siblings or not - whatever happens, happens. They're not some 20 year olds who are stuck in a loveline. They're mature adults at the age of thinking of marriage.
When of the things I loved about SA is because of the fact they weren't in a loveline. From the beginning, nothing of their closeness were scripted. Naturally happened and naturally involved into a great friendship, maybe even love. It's what pulled many of us into this ship.
I love how the other ship are saying JH is denying it in this episode and telling us to stop imagining things. When it's denied, it's denied. WHILE FOR THE LAST IDK YEARS, Gary & JH has doubtlessly said "business relationship" "JH and I are over" "MC is over" "I don't contact him outside of work" "we will never happen" from the beginning, both of them have stated that they're impossible. But THAT ship chooses to keep saying "they're just denying for the sake of keeping it a secret" "they're just lying, they are dating." What they say about us, being excited about today's episode for nothing bc she denied it, is what they always DENY when MC denies a relationship.
Another thing, MC fans love to think that Gary possibility made a cameo on JH's drama bc of their relationship, how it's so sweet or what not. We can say the same thing to when JH cameo in kwangsoo's drama earlier. MC fans love to be hypocrites, which is why I say they're such liars. They love to bring down JH's reputation, name, or EVEN HARD WORK. They don't respect her at all. While they'll be the first people to "protect" Gary every single time when he openly confesses or flirts with FEMALE guest. But if JH shows ONE OUNCE of care toward a male guest, they attack her.
I LOVE IT WHEN JH & male guest interact bc it's lovely to see that she's friendly and good friends with most guest. (Like LDW, her good and close friend & DongJun, etc.)
it annoys me that we can't be happy about today's episode freely. MC just loves crushing it so quick bc "JH & gary are together". Maybe this is why in my experience of watching variety shows since XMAN, I always HATE lovelines bc it's so forced BUT also the growing fans it create. Those fans just LOVE to believe in the LOVELINE as if it has to be true or smth. They refuse to see the force interaction or the way the pair keeps denying it outside of filming.
Sorry about my rant.

this may out of topic or random but during that week of chaos between RM & SBS ;; I'm just glad that we know JH has people that cares about her around her. Obviously, the RM members & her family. But as of lately, Byun Yo Han, who's still close with her, calls her filled with loyalty. And last night, SJH sent a food truck to LDW's drama set. Despite it all, the fact that JK & JH are bouncing back to positivity and still working with SBS, we have to applaud them. When RM is over, the heart and family of the members will always be the same. Positivity goes a long way as long as you surround yourself w/ people who you and care about (:

I agree with @airplanegirl | the others, I find them hilarious but also such liars. They're the ones that had no problem putting JH down when she didn't react as much to MC. They're the ones that started those crazy sex theories, not thinking of what that could do to someone like JH. They've never cared about JH's position at all. If this compatibly prediction today was about MC, they've been the ones that jump into the ship and scream out loud that they've been "right" all along.
i agree with most of you when this prediction could showcase or prepare the audience of the possibility of SPARTACE dating or preparing for marriage. I was watching the reaction of the members, jumping into agreement almost immediately of what the fortune teller said. JH, when she was arguing "can't do that w/ family" I was watching her habits and everything she talked or debunk smth of a possibility w/ JK, she would touch her lips or some sort. JK, he literally couldn't hide his happiness - it was adorable.
If this is what can possibility prepare us for what's to come in the remaining 8 episodes, I'll love it. After reading what you wrote in the last 3 pages in the forum, I can't help but be 100000% into this ship again. There is possibility no way spartace ARENT dating, I remain to stay positive and see what happens.

I spent the last week going over every page on the forum, enjoying the old little moments that SA's hawk eyes would see. A smile would always spread on my face when I see JK & JH in their own little world.
Maybe a part of me isn't excited for the remaining 2017 episodes but I've been a lot more down than I expected to be. Moments between Spartace isn't the same anymore.
My cousin and i had a discussion and she's like the pessimistic type of fan. "They're not dating" "what if they're just close" and just now she said "he's obviously not going to spend New Years w/ JH after sending a message like that."
ive tried to argue every statement she made but now I feel like it's just.....maybe not true. She's a SA fan as much as we are but she chooses to keep her sanity while I'm willing to lose it bc LMAO LOOK AT SPARTACE. But now......I'm on the level of doubt now. If they're really not together, I respect whoever they choose to be with. That's what a true fan does. It'll just be a shame bc these two much so well.
now I'm just in a bundle of doubt and sadness and I hate myself for it.

I have a cousin who said "what if they're not dating at all?" that question was like a ton of bricks hitting me.
honestly, if they aren't dating. I merely don't undertstand the physical contact, the standing next to each other all the time, the shy looks here and there. back in 2015, it was filled with YJS's sly look and playfully shove here and there. if they aren't dating, their actions are really surprising.
we've seen how they are individually as a person and how they are together. how their lifestyles match to each point, how compatible they are. if there is a couple who are MEANT TO BE together, it's SPARTACE. It'll be a damn shame if they aren't ):

I feel like Tiny is the little hope I keep holding onto. He follows SPARTACE fan pages, two of the most popular fanpages on IG. For me, he keeps me still believing and shippping onto SPARTACE.
Its like the post he uploaded the day when RM was announced to end on FEB. "it's not an ending. It's just the point in the story where you turn the page." Almost like an indication that even when RM does come into an end, it's NOT the end of the Running Man Family. We all know how close knit they are with each other, spending late nights until dawn talking with each other, always there when it's needed. We will still possibly see their interactions on HAHA's, JK's or SJ's or Kwangsoo's IG. Another reason of that quote, almost like the beginning of Spartace for us.
Like I said, with the things that have been happening lately and CTH saying what he did during KBS (even if 50% could possibly be scripted, but I mean we saw JK's reaction so lol) I remain hopeful into the relationship of Spartace.
Their interactions on and off screen is just too much for me not to think that they're together. I believe there is something going on. We've seen each of JK or JH's habits rubbing off of each other, couples start acting alike you know.
Oh, what I do love is the growing friendship between HAHA & JH. We saw evidence of that during SBS awards on a Christmas when those two were busy trying to make JK smile.
This family, this RUNNING MAN family that we know and love so dearly, I believe that no matter - this forum will stay alive after FEB. and that we will see such cute moments on IG on reunions or just get together for dinner (:

they didnt exactly call them back right? not right after? Especially when their secondary plan of having KDH to join backfired on them. The pd & people who follow them each and every day in filming WERE the ones who apologized. The ONE who did the damage didn't and HASNT ever apologize. Not even SBS has the balls enough to.
Honestly, I wouldn't call it an "agreement". More like a dilemma bc the other members had no problem quitting after SPARTACE's truth was revealed. It was the members themselves that decided it's best to end the show in feb. for me, it was a "take it or leave it" situation that sbs had to choose.

maybe it's because I have the spartace blues but I've been watching RM from the beginning. & ive noticed that in the beginning, he has used his manner hands when he carries JH.
Lately, I'm not sure when probably early 2014 or late of it, I can't remember but when he does carry her on FM or RM, those manner hands are gone.
BTW, anyone who is into Korean media or dramas like the rest of us, January 1st is approaching. That particular day is literally a DoomsDay for couples bc Dispatch would do their magic and reveal a secret couple. Now, I would LOVE if SPARTACE reveal their relationship on their own time (bc honest to goodness, there are too many signs of them being together, if we're wrong I might just cry) but there's also a side of me that just wants Dispatch to reveal it. I feel like an awful person wishing that. He's the only a dragon brother that hasn't married and with all these indication nowadays from Cha Tae Hyun & the fact spartace being fired at the same time, I remain hopeful.

I wasn't going to share this bc I wanted to just keep it to myself. I think as Running Man fans but also Spartace fans, these last few weeks has just been crazy for us. I watched the Awards Show & SBS has officially gone to my hate list - this is coming from someone who has watched Dramas mostly by SBS. Anyone who has watched SBS drama awards, they're also a little EHHHH and sucky during that show.
As for the Entertainment Awards, there are a thousand things going on my mind right now. The fact that the cameras or even production failed to acknowledge RM's existence during the show. They would occasionally show Jae Suk & Kwang soo throughout the whole time. It's as if SBS is really thinking that we would forget what happened and move on, that's not going to happen. Especially when RM has contributed HUGELY to their station, fanbase and basically and most definitely funds. Watching it live tonight, there was a lot of VIEWS watchig, close to 2M. I can certainly promise that internationally, the award shows won't do fairly well in view w/o RM. The disrespectful, rude, failed and obvious intentions to AVOID RM at all cost was seen by US & NEITZENS. They can try and make it better in whatever next few months after RM ends but it won't happen. The Variety Department needs a change up, pronto.
What I DID LOVE about the award show tonight was the fact that many fellow colleagues ACKNOWLEDGED RUNNING MAN THEMSELVES. You can tell that they KNOW what's going on in their eyes. Almost importantly, the way the RM members held onto their elegance and grace throughout the whole time. This is 3.5 hours long live show and RM merely got less than 7 mins of time. despite that, the members were sitting and smiling throughout the whole thing. They won't let SBS win and the neitzens know that.
Whatever may happen after RM ends, if YJS gets a new show or some may say LKS may join him, WHATEVER MAY HAPPEN - I will stand by each and every member in the path they go. Because what makes me feel bad is that we won't see them as a whole in less than 2 months. BUT KEEP IN MIND that these members are family and there is no doubt they will always hang out when they can.
HAHA & YJS has Infinity Challenge, which I also watch, so makes me feel ok that I will still see them. Maybe after 2 months time, RM members can slowly start guest staring on IC or shy other variety show, share their piece on whatever happened.

I just watched tonight's episode. And I don't know about anyone else but I personally loved this episode. It was them just pranking and loving to play around w/ each other, it's just so pure and I love it so much. Especially the last mission with the telepathy game, these people understand and know each other best and it makes me cry.

After watching the video above it seems like KJK is not keen on settleing down with a partner, when he spoke about the lack of freedom after getting married i was like wtf. and the co-host answer of he knows places really bothered me, even if it was a joke, if he isn't ready to commit to a serious relationship, then he shouldn't marry his girlfriend, whoever she may be!
they were basically following by script. I feel like the script indicated that they should ask smth relating to w/e marriage topic it is. the "girlfriend" reveal has to be out of nowhere by the way JK used informal speech towards TH. & I think we all know how dedicated and responsible JK is with family and friends. You're right, it was joking - something that they had to do in some sort of way towards the audience. I don't think you should feel as if it was serious. Knowing how JK is, I wouldn't take that whole "freedom" speech seriously.

LMAO, I lost my sanity there a bit when I was watching today's episode. When they announced that each week would be a member's week, I suddenly went to CRAZY WORLD & imagined that during JK's week - he is going to confess and propose JH! I started laughing out of excitement but then immediately stopped bc my sanity was gone for like 3 mins. As Shipper's Paradise, that would be amazing. But as a sane person and someone who has stated what I saw earlier in this forum, whatever they choose or whoever they are with, we support them individually.
