The 2nd female lead is, in my opinion, just a 2nd or 3rd tier secondary character already. The lack of progress in her story.

I had already drop this drama as the plot doesn't interest me anymore.

Shall pick it up again once this is over to see the ending

You know, they could make In Jae a cliché villain instead they gave her a grey character which made her intriguing with what appeared at the beginning an independent arc of her own. I was looking forward to her journey but then I realized, it won't be happening as her scenes became less and less and less as the show churned out new episodes each weekend. So, I've given up too at the moment. If Kang Hanna wasn't such a terrific actress, (who does shine bright with limited, near zero screen time, she gets or is given) it would hurt less. I hope she picks up another project preferably as a lead soon. I have never been much invested in the trio and the character I least relate to is Dal Mi. So, I am just casual viewer now. Also, I don't give RickRoll'D about the Swing idea, never have, never will. They are centering it to somehow make a caricature out of In Jae and dish out some poetic, fable like moral lesson about truth, lies, honesty. I couldn't care less for it. That was the first sign for me that the writer doesn't exactly know much about tech start ups or realities of what really matters in tech start up incubator or accelerators or else at least the central conflict would be more realistic and far more interesting. It won't be something banal sappy like a story about some girl in a swing.

I also don't think a reconciliation between sisters is necessary at this point. Some families are distant and in those cases, you build your own family. Dal Mi has one, In Jae can find and build her own too. I don't think emotionally either needs the other, That relationship is beyond repair and Its fine if it stays amicable on surface.

  2. What is wrong with Co-Rona, you know full well your mom and the head of your school don't get along, have history of feuding and she doesn't like you and half the school kids, moms, dads are waiting to throw you out and yet you think picking fight with her is the right thing to do? I can't believe this weird RickRoll'D show thought it was a good idea to kill off Min Seo-Ah to keep this waste of oxygen Ro-Na alive. I actually was hoping she'd fall, go into coma and we'd be spared her stupidity and screeches. That aside I am happy for Yoon-Hee, all display of stupidity aside, she does seem like one of the few kind people that you can root for. So, Soo Ryeon came from chaebol background and she is taking back control. That was no accident her running into those two wannabe rich snobs. She timed it, I think she has a plan in motion to show Seo Jin her place. I am frankly looking forward to it.

  3. Was it really necessary to straight up kill Min Seol Ah? I feel so bad for Ji Ah. That RickRoll'D of a husband she has, killed her husband and now her only child is gone too. And I believe there are certain lines that once crossed, you can't absolve even a kid from culpability. The Hera Palace kids are psychopaths, the way they tortured Seol Ah, you can't say that these were just harmless bullies, it was more than that....I am not interested in seeing their redemption act, I am not sure how they'd go for it and I hope they don't. The really belong in jail or juvenile detention center.

Honestly, the melodramatics of both Rona and her mother are too much. They bring their troubles on themselves.

Rona, give up classical and go audition at a kpop agency. At least you will learn some self control at their trainee lessons.

Worst part is I don't sympathize to the slightest with Ro-Na....what did she expect, a girl with little connection will huff and puff through an audition and world will cater to her whims? Every single time, she throws tantrum, I want somebody to beat her. Honey, look around you and read the room. I would rather they kept Seol Ah alive....because I don't give a RickRoll'D if Ro-na makes it as an opera singer. She is just as much of an annoying brat and rude idiot like the rich kids gang. I feel sorry for Eugene though, she really wanted to lead a quiet life but thanks to the stupid brat of a daughter she has, now she is knee deep in filth.

  5. @phikyl she is not autistic, she is antisocial for sure....she has all the character traits unfortunately.... likes breaking laws, doesn't like/respects boundaries, puts herself and others in danger whenever is amuses her, general lack of empathy, provokes/manipulates others...that is precisely why Kang Tae got angry of having let his guard down around her and left the car, for a second there he had forgotten that Moon Young was antisocial but there conversation and her response brought him back to reality....Sang Tae has some variation of autism for sure.

Also I don't like the fact that she seems to be pulling Juri's hair like that. Adults don't do that and no matter what, Juri has done so far nothing to receive that. We will see but even if say Juri did something, I have a bad feeling Moon Young is overreacting here and obviously out of line. Also is it Seung Jae, the assistant or Juri there??

What irked me the most in this episode is Juri. The woman acts like a princess but each action she does hurts people:

    - she took the mother to the son while explaining that she needed a relative. Actually, she didn't need to. She should have expected the mother's reaction. But no, for her what matters the most is the family or better said the appearances.

That part I couldn't understand. I think it was protocol that a relative goes with the patient but then she didn't. So, how does this work??

    - she claims to be GMY's friend, yet she asks for her dismissal.

She is not her friend. The director wanted to gauge her reaction to understand the situation better, I believe he understands and senses more than he lets on.

My problem with her is that she seems fake. Yes, she is soft spoken, docile but I don't know if its the actor or the script, she seems duplicitous. As if she is hiding away her true feelings and walking around egg shells careful not to reveal what she truly is like. I mean Juri's mom, I don't feel this with her, I only feel it around Juri. I can't quite pinpoint it but she makes me uncomfortable and that is saying a lot given there is an anti-social, ready to commit murder, volatile anti-social person around.

i think her dad maybe thinks that MY had something to do with his wife's death. because what i got from the introduction of the mansion was that he actually loved his family taking in count that he built it for them so maybe he blamed MY's disorder?? im not sure but im definitely excited to know

Moon Young's mother is alive and in the hospital....she was the one watching her from afar. Also, that is why Ju Ri was surprised that Moon Young registered her dead.

Also, are the hospital stuff properly trained. How come nobody took care of Moon Young after she got choked to death and laughed like a maniac. That part really irked me. I think only hospital director understands patients well, others seem way to quick to judge.

I thought that was blood on MY's mom but yeah you seem have a point with MY saving her mom and locked her up...and "died"

Moon Young can't possibly physically drag a person who almost drowned to her home and lock her up, you know how heavy a wet person is who can't move on her own........Her mom and dad both seem shady...lets wait but the mother's death maybe tied to her parents. I am assuming, she may have not bothered to save her since you know its all a game to her.

Not only it basically is the premise of the drama with the synopsis describing her as a kid's fairytale writer with an antisocial personality disorder but the sleazy book critic she almost took the eye out in the second episode said so  threatening her to basically out her medical condition to the press.

The drama also keeps showing that. In what world would her behavior since childhood be seen as normal? Even her smoking in the psychiatric hospital's garden right in front of the sign prohibiting smoking was a little reminder of her not caring about rules.

She took a manic patient and set him loose in public.....yes, it did expose hypocrisy of society, parenting but he could have hurt him or others....she slso has a habit of stealing, doesn't respect personal space, has on multiple occassions shown to be capable of violence....I know she is pitiful but so many viewers are surprised by todays episode, I was like its there in the synopsis of the show, bruh she suffers from mental health issue, a very real one...I guess they expected magical treatment or cure like Kill Me, Heal Me....where Multiple personality disorder got cured with love....I love that show but its medical reasoning was ridiculous.

About that opinion,  I guess some people are missing that KMY suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder. She just doesn't care about others feelings and about rules and morals. If someone is miffed by her touching someone without consent in the third episode but didn't notice her wondering about whether or not to let someone die drowning in cold water when she was still a kid then they need a brain. The drama is just portraying her mental disorder as it is. There is nothing more to it.

Somebody commenting in DB shushed me saying she isn't....she is anti social....I guess people really did miss the cue.

Also kudos to Kwak Dong Yeon for accurate portrayal of somebody manic. He also bought so much heart to it....this show won't be classic boy loves girl kdrama....I hope people realize that.

I love MYs outfits so far especially the one when she in the book signing. Both of these drama have very good wardrobes. Man Wol definitely have competition. I kinda want IU to have a cameo in the drama too.

I would say Seo Ye Ji has a womanly, sexy vixen aura....IU had a Confessions of a shopaholic aura...but I still don't see how this compares to Del Luna...the setting, subject matter all very different and this is a risk. It may not pay off in ratings.

  14. Just a little bit of context about story that was the center today....Its a fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson named the Red shoes

It is a cautionary tale about avarice

    Spoiler

The little girl named Karen in that story lusted after a pair of red shoes and only cared that it made her appear lovely and gorgeous even when in the House of God instead of praying...An angel placed curse on those shoes so every time she put on those shoes her feet wouldn't stop dancing...even though she knew those shoes brought nothing but trouble, she wore them to the Grand Ball ignoring the  declining health of the kind lady who took her in after her mother died....that night the shoes won't stop dancing, they kept dancing and dancing and the old lady passed away. Later an executioner cut her legs to free her of her misery. She still couldn't go to church as those shoes and her legs would haunt her dancing every time she tried to go to the church...later God forgives her and her soul goes to heaven free of the red shoes.

I personally do not like this story because Hans Christian Anderson named the heroine of this fairy tale after his illegitimate half sister Karen,  due to poverty Karen was forced to take up prostitution and Hans feared she might show up to embarrass him and loathed her. This never sat well with me that he blamed his sister while she was just victim of her circumstances.

Now if this story is a parallel to what Moon Tae means to Moon Young, then I am scared. He is the forbidden red shoe that brings her nothing but misery, makes her sin or vice versa and they have to cut it apart but at the cost of deep personal loss. Is this a foreshadowing for a tragic end? I don't know, all I know is this show is beautiful and whimsical and so far hasn't played around in terms of pointing out just exactly anti-social personality disorder is. It often times can't be cured. If Moon Young is really of that variety then I am scared for where our romance is headed. But I am in and my ship has sailed. So, we shall see.

I am very curious about how the relationship between the main couple is going to be like... I have not much knowledgeable about antisocial disorder, but according to sources those suffering from it can't fall in love.

Like every other metal health related disorders, antisocial personality disorder has its severity variation. It can be extreme to mild and depending on that, therapy and medication can be used to manage it pretty successfully. So, we have to see, I guess. Also, it can be inherited, caused by trauma or by damage to brain in some cases. So, I wouldn't say they can't have emotions or are incapable of loving, majority cases they lack empathy but each mental health case is slightly different so you can always get better in some cases and manage it better.
