And if you ponder carefully, I never saw IS supporting him (not saying she was not faithful, but was never too much involved and invested in his life (may be because of her ex's history), but he was always there for her, looking for her each and every small need and feelings.:heartbreak: Aigoo uri Junwanna. I really don't want your feelings to be hurt, but my criminal mind keep thinking about your future. Ik sun accept those rings, let him live happily with you....:innocent:

See by rule is simple (need not be correct though) that those who sailed smoothly in or at the end of the season would face harshness in next and those who didn't get to feel the love this time might be down poured with it in the next.

Don't feel too depressed after reading this. Just presuming the worst scenario....

I do feel that Ik Sun is less invested in this relationship than Jun Wan, I don't blame her but that is why I was wondering, did the address mishap cause it to come back or did she send back the rings because Jun Wan asked before sending those rings right?? To be honest, realistically, I don't see how Ik Sun Jun Wan survive this long distance relationship. It would be possible if they had dated for years but their dedication and mindset going into the relationship is so different. I don't doubt their love but love alone is not enough to sustain a relationship so I wonder if we will see this one end next season. I won't be mad at Ik Sun but heartbroken for Jun Wan. I hope they make it though.

  2. I don't understand what happened to Jun Wan's package....did it get returned back due to wrong address?? Oh, I liked how Jong Won and Gyeo Wul came around. Poor Min Ha though...Seok Hyung is not over his ex wife clearly. I am still hoping it works out for them next season. Chi Hong...I don't care for him. He makes me uncomfortable. Fully on board Ik Jun and Seong Hwa ship. They used my all time favorite song today. Me to You, You to Me and its raining here today at my end. Ah! The feels....I wish they did not make Jeon Mi Do sing off key and tone here...she has a pleasant voice...shame they made Seong Hwa tone deaf character....I mean its funny but also doesn't let her vocals shine.

Am I the only one who is upset that Jun wan was not there in the band practice scene? Sighh. I know he had other important heart-wrenching things to do, but as song hwa suggested they could've done it some other time when everyone was available. That scene somehow feels incomplete without him....

I think the point was to show that he puts his work over everything else just like the rest and given that he is the Chief for CS right now, it makes sense...he is gonna be more busy in upcoming episodes and will likely have to juggle a lot.

  4. Seok Hyung and Min Ha's part was an absolute highlight for me......I can see Min Ha's respect and admiration for Seok Hyung growing past this and also that Seok Hyung seems more relaxed around her. The way he mentors her is amazing which raises problem....its never a good idea to get feelings mixed up with mentor ship, it is common in hospital setup in real life and in reel life but its also ethically grey area. I can see these two growing closer now for 100% now. Jun Wan seems sure about Ik Sun but Ik Sun has a painful break up......I hope they can survive it......also can't wait for Ik Jun's reaction. Jun Wan is also climbing the administrative ladder so it will be interesting going forward.

I just think, if Song Hwa and Jun Wan will be the end-game, I can't imagine how it can hurt Ik Jun and Ik Sun at the same time. And it will hurt even more because they are brother and sister and care for each other.

Jun wan and Ik jun's relationship might be really affected because after Jun Wan kissed Ik Sun (Ik Jun's brother), he kiss Song Hwa (Ik Jun's first love). Omg, please don't. It doesn't seem right.

So, I think I will eliminate this pairing from any possible end-game scenario.

At the moment, I can't even imagine how?? Jun Wan cares for Seong Hwa, no doubt there but he loves Ik Sun, break up with Ik Sun will also change his dynamic with Ik Jun......there is noway it stays the same no matter who breaks up with whom....I don't want that...I want the core 5 to stay unbothered

Fully agree about the relationships thingy...which seems common, as I've seen in my Hospital system too.  However with the skill-set and age gap...chances are, they are already aiming to be 2nd or 3rd wife of the more senior MD.

Knowing hospital dynamics myself, very famous surgeons having multiple failed marriages and numerous affair rumors with young interns, nurses and vice versa is sadly very very common.

I don't think Gyeo Wool is a 3rd year intern, are we sure?? Because then her awkwardness in terms of patient handling or running after the criminal leaving patient behind really are poor writing. She would likely have had enough experience to not make these rookie mistakes. This is poor writing. I am not saying 3rd year interns are perfect but doctor patient interactions are very fundamental to the training, there is noway she gets to 3rd year without having already gone through these with other people. I guess given everything, we can overlook one bit of lazy writing.

Dr. Maggot and Jeongwon’s love line is a no brainer. It’s been doomed from the very start. In their scenes, Jeongwon always looks like he’s annoyed and can’t be bothered. Episode 7 is the start of the end for them. Jeongwon’s body language when he went out of the room to see her waiting for him says it all. When he saw her, he automatically assumed it’s business and turned his back on her while checking his phone. When Jang demanded him to buy her a meal, he was hesitant and quick to say they’ll have a colleague get-together instead. He was setting boundaries as he has been doing from the start.

I noticed that as well, he seems to be a bit hard on her and sets an extra set of line to make his point and set boundaries.....is it because as a mentor and it is because he senses that she likes him so he is trying to nip it in the bud. I mean it makes sense, he has no business fooling around and giving girls falls hope if he is determined to pursue priesthood. Gyeo Wool is also socially awkward so maybe that is why he doesn't want to be too friendly in case she misunderstands.....like Min Ah said, if he had whatsoever one ounce of feeling for her other than being a mentor to her, he would check on her once at the very least. I think this heartbreak is necessary for Gyeo Wool to grow so that if Jeong Won leaves his passion for becoming a man devoted to God, they are at least in equal footing in terms of maturity.

You know what Phoebe must be Dr. Jang. Phoebe is weird like Jang. Phoebe got married to Mike, and Mike comes from a really orthodox family, right? Mike was also rich. So Mike is Jeong won. There we go, we have all the characters. LOL.

I think Captain Ahn is Gunther. Hahaha.

Pheobe was weird but she was worldly, she had quirks but she went after what she wanted with confidence......nope.....Jang is way too closed off for any of that

  9. I may be the only one who is not sold on the Jeong Won and Gyeo Wool ship.......they are polar opposite in a way right now that I just don't think is compatible.......its one thing being shy but Gyeo Wool is massive introvert......she is talented but a relationship takes more than just admiring each other to work, she has to learn to be more expressive.......not to mention Jeong Won has nothing but being a priest in his head right now......so is it not natural that he did not lead her on?? They both are at very different points in their lives......one is still learning how to be a good surgeon while picking up social cues while the other may leave his profession for the sake of God.....Jeong Won has to give up on this idea first for him to notice Gyeo Wool and Gyeo Wool has to break out of her shell and become a bit more worldly, I don't mean that she is bad as she is but I need to see her growing past how she is right now....she is a bit like Seok Hyung right now and he was not able to sustain his marriage even for a year......just saying beyond the cuteness of the first crush, first love........there are things that are necessary....as it is Jeong Won and Gyeo Wool do not work as a couple.....they both need to grow a bit independently and then perhaps they can wind back to each other

No healthy normal guy is that dense about attractions from the opposite sex. If he could sense Jang’s admiration/crush on him, he would be able to sense Bae’s interest in him too. My thought is that, if he doesn’t mind going out with Bae, it could be because he knows and is confident that nothing further will develop. He can handle Bae no problem. But if he go out with Jang, he is not confident he could keep it neutral.... ;)

Yes, he knows, he wants to be a priest but he is not dense, he knows perfectly well who is like what, wants what......but given his track record, he knew if he went out and had dinner with Dr. Bae.....she will eventually figure out that this is something he does with everyone and not be too heartbroken about it...Gyeo Wool is socially awkward, I think that is why he takes extra precaution not to get her hopes up too much. As cute as Gyeo Wool is as a socially awkward doctor with her crush, I just don't think that Jeong Won and her are compatible...not at the moment anyway

  11. I think the reason Jeong Won turned down Gyeo Wool was because other people who admire or try to hit on him can take a casual dinner/movie outing and not make a big deal out of it......she is different, she is pretty straight forward.....there is a chance his carefree casual hanging out with her will cause her to get her hopes up for no reason.......she is different, he notices that...hence he keeps extra distance.....I know its heartbreaking but I just don't see this progressing as long as Jeong Won is completely over his intention of becoming a priest...Also Yoon Bok and Hong Do have twin cousin Monae and Manae.......the same Monae who is Wuju's friend!!!

  12. Seok Hyung omma really is something.......she went and checked all the ladies room to get a bucket of filthy water and mop.....that is dedication to the maximum level, I get her to be honest.....Is his father really that shameless, I am sure there are other hospitals in the city...to come to the one where his son works with his mistress...that said, I hope she divorces him fast....the guy is worthless.......Jun Wan is so cute....I am dying to see Ik Jun's reaction when they figure it out...Ik Jun and Jun Wan have been friends for the longest amount of time since school if I am correct so I really want to see he reacts...I am guessing Jung Won got his priest approval...and Ik Jun and Song Hwa is happening....can't wait

So the stalker kidnapped SY in the past? According to JH’s memory, he entered a room with numerous pictures of him and SY and he was scratched out of the pictures much like he is now scratched out in pictures with HJ. I wonder if this memory is related to the circumstances that led to SY’s death. In that case it would be more like the stalker is targeting JH rather than HJ.

On the other hand, perhaps this is another stalker and his way of scratching out JH simply reminded him of the past where SY was likewise targeted by a stalker.

What if the target always was Ha Jin, not Seo Yeon...because the way Ha Jin broke and got depressed after So Yeon's death is not very common. I get that they were best of friends, grew up together but something doesn't add up here. Because why would So Yeon's stalker target Ha Jin now, after so much time has passed. And Ha Jin gets obsessive threats quite often judging by her sisters words. Why act out now, she has had numerous dating scandals in the past and she has even dated other people. There is more to So Yeon's death and Ha Jin's subsequent depression, I think.

I never quite understood, why him apologizing so upset me, why him being so in love with her and saying "he will be okay" felt so wrong. Thank you for pointing it out! That's what that feeling is. Her using him, his pain and making him feel bad for her and grateful for no reason too. She didn't even do bare minimum for being one of the people, who covered up his dad's murderer, yet it's Park Sae Roy who taking all burden, with her acting all "conflicted", like she has any rights at all -_-

I don't understand Soo Ah's conflict, she is not a family member to the Jung's....she can quit anytime and join a different company, they do not own her....I mean if Jung's second son can walk away....what's her deal

  15. Finally binged all four eoisodes....loving it....Park Seo Joon is so versatile....he deserves all the success he is getting and much more....I must say I like Sae- Royi's character....a character fueled by hard work and determination....Yi Seo is intetesting...a female genius in the field of so msny male genius iq characters...her interaction with her mother was refreshing...I also want to see how far she pushes Sae- Royi....he needs her branding expertise to make Dan Bam success...solid entry...Soo Ah, I can no longer make excuses for her...Jagga Co. can't be the only company that can use her expertise but even if it was playing dirty was unnecssary especially because her boss did not force her to prove anything to him yet...why?? That was just selfish and she did it solely because she knows she can get away with it...She takes Sae- Royi for granted...She knows what they have done to his father....a man died and they are not even denying culpability but throwing it in the victim's son pface while she is looking to secure her position....no matter what she had gone through....she has no justfiable reason to take her boss's side here....doing your job and screwing somebody are two completely different things....and she is actively and in the future will surely try to mess with Sae-Royi's business...I hope Sae-Royi stops with accepting richard simmons at some point if not now...She has changed too much and he has to realize that at some point in the drama. Anywsy looking forward to next week...so we are currently in 2016 timeline right so one more time jump ahead, I guess.

  16. What a beautiful end to a wonderful drama.....I liked how the hospice changed everyone....CY and Kang finally together....not sure why sending her to Greece was necessary but I am glad it ended there....I liked Bora's character...why could they not introduce her earlier...So, Jun just went back to being a doctor...I had hoped for more there bit I guess choosing to go back in his terms is good enough especially since he does like his job....glad Kang left it though...he was right...his grandmother lives in hell of her own creation...why must he suffer in it...I do hope Jun escapes it....he obviously can't cut off his parents but he can still live by his terms...Kang snd Cha Young, I wanted to see their wedding taking place in Wando and with cute kids in the future...I am happy with the end but part of me wishes it showed future them

  17. I loved every part of today's episode, although not sure where we are going with all the bits and pieces of new characters that are being added....we already need closure for too any stories........Jun's situation broke my heart....its astonishing that grandma's bloodline somehow ended on somebody like Jun and Kang.....I am glad the two brothers made their peace and realized that their fighting a fight that neither want any part of, Kang wanted to live happily with his mother and wanted to be a chef, Jun wanted to play fair to prove his worth, not cut the line using blackmail and wanted to be an artist instead of a doctor.......I hated how grandmother shoved him aside, she made a monster out of her daughter-in-law by using her, pushed Kang and Jun against one another and made them fight with each other and now she is projecting on to Jun, how dare she! She deserves it, whatever situation she is in. I am just glad that Jun saw what life waits ahead for him if he continued to play this nasty game and is choosing to break free while he still can.

As for Cha Young, I am not surprised at all that she is the one who will ask to put a distance most possibly finding out about Kang's mother.......that is a trauma that won't go away so easily.....forgiving herself for a situation that wasn't her fault will take time.....I also liked Tae Hyun's story......it came full circle in sort a really nice way......I just hope we get a shot of future at the end......with Cha Young and Kang walking down the aisle in Wando with Jun as his best man smiling down looking at them but even if that doesn't happen, I will happily take that kiss in the greek beach.

This is a matter of culture and values. Asians view filial piety very highly and it is a value that has been instilled since young by families and society. I can understand why she felt the need to do so. In some countries, the law requires children to pay off deceased parents debts, no matter how it was incurred (legally or illegally) which is why we heard of people with huge debts killing off his whole family then killed himself. There was just a real life case happened recently in Taiwan. It’s in the news because he was the brother of a celebrity.

I am asian....I am well aware of culture and find it unhealthy and at times downright dangerous as I have seen people being exploited as a result..I have never enjoyed it being glorified on tv...you can be kind, considerate, empathatic while walking away from toxicity....CY giving money once understandable...promising to pay at regular intervals....nope

My personal thought: Cha-Young's mother might be a criminal, but she is still CY's mother. I think the writer is putting in a "morality" issue here. No matter how wrong the parents can be (to their own children or anyone else), but children always owe their parents the responsibility of having giving birth and raised them.

So CY paying back her mother's "debt" to that husband is a way for CY to (1) help her mother lessen the crimes that she might have committed (2) also able to "payback" (being filial) to her mother, as a result.

Now, how many of us love their parents "enough" to do that in real life? I don't know.

But I see the writer's depth in putting in that detail.

Sorry, I abosultely don't agree to this....in reality people would not...her mother abandoned her in a building that collapsed and has not apologized since...CY has no obligation moral or otherwise here....it unhealthy to even promote this sort of horseshit....CY can barely afford her own living, supporting her useless brother and is in no situation financially to be able to pull this sort of committment to a stranger when she has health issues to deal with....she is a chef with no sense of smell or taste, she has no idea if she can continue to earn a living in her current state....speaking of CY's stupidity the fact that she never filed a complaint agaist the guy who assualted her and caused damage to her nervous system, this is all together too much....being kind to criminals is not a favor to yourself or the world, that boy is likely to end up hurting somebody else....I like empathatic leads but selflessness doesn't require one to go bankrupt and become physically ill in the process

  20. I hate one thing though....why is Cha Young paying her mother's husband money....I liked that she finally let go but seconds later she was trying pay for her mother's sin....I know that she has heart of Gold but that irked me....her mother is a criminal, she should pay for her wrongdoing by going to jail...Cha Young should not step in to take responsibility here...sometimes you need to cut toxicity completely out....she should have walked away...its not her guilt nor her burden to bear...we know she is a kind heroine....writers don't need to bend over backwords to hammer that in...that was excessive...also can somebody beat the crap out of Jun's father...he is too much of an insensitive, entitled, imbecile at this point for me to even feel sorry for...its nothing short of a miracle that an imbecile and greedy vulture have a son like Jun...Jun needs to tell him the truth, say richard simmons off to his family snd get the hell out.

  21. About Jun's mother and grandmother....as horrid and nauseating it is, serves grandmother right. She raised her children not like a family but fighting bulls, that you see in a survival game show dangling the heir to hospital carrot as the prize and now she is crying in deathbed. Jun is a good person because I did not feel one iota of pity for her. To hide her secret and at the same time ease her own guilt and role she played in her husband's demise, she destroyed Kang's life, his mother's life and snatched away their happiness. She did not give the poor woman a proper burial, forced Jun and Kang into the same toxic game of 'Who gets to be an heir' all the while pretending to be above everyone else...the two cousins could be allies running the hospital together, thriving, happy.....result both men are forced into a life that they hate, unhappy, drowning.....I know Jun is going to leave it all and so will Kang at the end so it serves these horrid people right.
