@bebebisous33 I was always wondering why RL said to DH that she's so angry. What you said might be right. She was forced to tell it to KS as if somebody commanded her to do it. RL is angry because she loves both KS and ET but one of them has to die. Maybe she thinks that the deity, which is DH, is really harsh to the two children she created (just like what ET thinks).
@staygold it seems GR Yeo just got the assignment of the missing soul 20 years ago. He was not the original GR who missed to capture the evil adviser.

To split them now will be much much harder, but the point is also, when GR remembers, he will also remember how he felt after the Kim-siblings death and how he was alone and could not trust the eunuch and what he did wrong ... so he will know not to listen to him, but he will remember that he did a lot of wrong against KS and that will shake him ...I believe they will resolve this faster than we think they will. Their relationship is different from the past and he knows how Kim Shin felt and what he thinks. Yeo just need to tell Kim Shin how sorry he is and how he regretted the decision he made. I'm sure KS will understand him. After that, they need to team up again and save ET in much more dangerous accidents that will come. They need to patch things up as quickly as they can. Without GR, KS won't know when and how will ET will die.

What I like about him is he's not afraid to explore different kinds of roles. It's a good thing he accepted Goblin because it really suits him. :-)

gong yoo is the main lead, lee dong wook is second main lead, deok hwa is third main lead (im talking about layer position, the role of goblin > grim reader > deok hwa). So YSJ choose a smaller role in goblin than moonlight, he need less time to film. The role of YSJ in school 2015 is bigger than the role in goblin.
I'm not actually arguing with you about the layer or significance of the role. My only point is, there are only two kinds of roles in Korea, lead and supporting. Sungjae's role falls in the main cast/lead role category. I don't care about KDY's role. Why is KDY's role even included in our discussion if it's Jinyoung's role was supposed to be Sungjae's role? LOL. My point is, whatever it is, Sungjae's role is considered a lead role. It doesn't matter if it has a smaller screentime. He's not busy right now. During the filming of Moonlight, he's busy with his group's comeback. They even released a single during that time. He rejected the role because of that since his group is his priority. But now, another acting opportunity came and he's not so busy so he accepted it.

I haven't seen him together with the leads in a group poster, I only saw a solo poster of him. Oh well, maybe I missed that.
But still, Sungjae is a lead here. Even Dramabeans counts him as a main cast. Main cast = lead role. Supporting cast = supporting role. That's how they view it in Korea. You even said that he is a third lead here. So it means, it's a leading role.
I honestly don't care if KDY's role is a lead or not. Since Sungjae's role is different. I just feel it is more significant in the story and has a more impact. Especially with his position in the promotional stills. He's placed in the center. Sometimes, those are clues, you know.

I don't count him as a supporting role or just a friend especially if he's included in the promotional poster of Goblin where all the leads are photographed. I think a director won't include a supporting character in a promotional still of the leads. I haven't seen one so far. The bigger twist about his identity is yet to unfold and his connection to the 2 couples. So, I'm still waiting for his own story and how he will affect the lives of our beloved couples.

I've read in Dramabeans that Koreans describe the casts as lead and supporting roles. There are actually no first, second or third lead.

Honestly, I am not distracted or annoyed by the Subway PPLs. I actually find them very funny. I don't mind to have more of them in the next episodes because PPLs pay higher than other sponsors. So, the more money they get, the bigger budget they will have. Accidents like the bus and the sword pulling scenes are very expensive so they can have more of it in the next episodes if they have more money. I won't mind as long as we can have a quality drama.

He actually did a movie last year with Han Hyo Joo entitled The Beauty Inside. But he's not really active in Chungmuro. He's more into variety shows.

I actually like that the writer didn't reveal everything that happened in the past all at once. I think she's going to slowly unveil the past each episode. I hate it everytime the writer will spend 2-3 episodes for the past story before shifting to the adult story/future story.
Well, I think some people don't love the mysteries that's why they don't appreciate how the writer laid out the story. About the comment that episode 2 is crappy that they spent the entire episode chasing JJ and SC, it was not really dragging because it was a fun-filled episode. The writer chose to use the "chasing arc" to make our OTP closer. There are also some developments...JJ started to feel something for SC (though he's not fully aware of it yet), while SC learned how to talk.
I believe SC is not the same golden-tailed mermaid from the past. Maybe a reincarnation or descendant? As some of the LOBSTERS pointed out, their personalities are different and she knows how to talk before.
By the way, there are child and young versions of our leads in the list of the cast. I wonder if they will appear in the present or past story. Though they are credited as child/young JJ and SC in Asianwiki.
