Hi, chingu! I've been reading your thoughts and posts. Really thankful to chingus who posted pictures, gifs, and FMV of them, I just love seeing our couple together in one frame
And the lyric breakdown, it's new I just have time to write my review here. I hope you won't mind if I post my review this late Sorry I didn't make many gifs since our chingus here have posted loads of beautiful gifs in previous pages, but you can expect some since I couldn't resist to see some scenes in the loop. So, here we go!

First, why did they often play "Empire State of Mind" lately when they're currently in Dubai? Is it because of "In Dubaaai~"? Hahaha.

Ugh, MBC really loves to tease (or torture?) us with that preview of their time in Dubai at the beginning! Just remember to air those scenes, MBC!

They always match each other in terms of their "weirdness". Eric joined Solar's impossible imagination about Dubai. Whenever one of them sang "In Dubaaai~", the other followed right away. Whenever one of them started a role play, the other joined. Btw, just wanted to correct something regarding their imagination about Dubai because I think the english sub is a bit off. After Eric said "Let's not go where there's no gold", the right one is "Let's not eat if there's no gold powder in it."

Actually they haven't reached their 200th day though? Today (October 17th) is their 199th day if I'm not wrong. But anyway, that day was their 6th month-versary (October 2nd) and I wouldn't complain if they're happy

I always love when they hug, and the hug from the latest episode will be my favorite hug! This time Eric hugged Solar so tight! Twice! This hug feels so different from their previous hugs. I feel that Eric hugged her at the first time because he's so happy, moved, and thankful to her. While he hugged her for the second time because once is not enough and maybe felt that Solar was cute at that time, asking him to blow the candles without fire (look at his amused face) Kinda hoping to see the hug shot from Solar's side too, but I'm really happy to see them like that. Thanks to other chingus who provided us with their hug gifs, but I think it won't be bad to see this hug again, right?

Truck, domestic flight, bus (Chuseok special), now overseas flight. I have to praise Solar for always prepares their needs whenever they're travelling. Eric didn't just say it when he said in an interview that Solar is considerate to others.

Like other chingus, I also like when Eric peeked in Solar's blanket and woke her gently. Solar slept so well that Eric ate 2 sets of dishes alone. He must be bored so he went to sleep as well hahaha Did Solar get drunk from the champagne? Since she can't drink alcohol well

Maybe other chingus who have more knowledge or experience in writing will be more helpful in giving feedbacks. But if you need help, I'd glad to help if I can I know, right? I hope they released the scenes that are cut, or it would be better if they released the full uncut episodes haha. I only see them releasing the full uncut episodes for Bbyu couple though.
I don't know if the quality of my translation is good enough. I think my translation is still more on the literal side and I'm trying to convey more of the text meaning now. Sometimes I still have a hard time though, whether it's about Korean idiom/slang words or how to convey it so chingus here can understand.

I don't know what drawing it is, but Solar seems to draw it when she feels something is too cheesy, since she drew it on the envelope too. Btw, actually I have seen Solar's writing on the envelope when that episode was released but I didn't get what she wrote at that time, my video quality wasn't that good I think. Until I rewatched it a few days ago, I tried hard to read it although it's kinda blurry haha.

I love how you have not-biased thoughts eventhough you're his fans. From your post too, I think I can learn from it so my English (especially in writing) will be better I have the same confusion with you (WGM Sidenote 2), maybe you're right. Some chingus here thought back then that maybe the girls that he "dated" and became "girlfriends" are different. I think we won't know the truth.
I like MAMAMOO from the beginning of this year before Solar joined WGM, but not really followed their activities like now. If you need video references (and subbed), I think you can try visit Mamamoo Trans since they list all the videos that they subbed. Maybe watching their MMMTV series will also help

- "ㄷㄷ" is the simple form for "덜덜", means "shivers" (to express amazement/fear)
- "ㅋㅋ" is the simple form for "크크", means "LOL" (laughter because something is funny)
- "오글오글" is an expression like getting goosebumps/curling up your hands because something is cheesy or embarassing or awkward.-----

Honestly I had a hard time to choose favorite moments of our Ddongi couple. I also like the moments that are already listed by chingus here. After thinking hard, here is my 5 favorite moments (not in any order because I couldn't decide):
#1: Their walk together at night!

This scene is really memorable for me, because their actions were still raw and natural, since it's still at the beginning. I'm feeling butterflies while watching this moment from the beginning to the end. And I know I'm not the only one, since both Eric & Solar said that they felt strange at that time I feel the flutter from the beginning! Solar glanced at Eric a few times, Eric thought what to do/say, and both of them didn't know what to do with their hands And when finally Eric said something, Solar stuttered to reply. Eric joked a lot with her, wanted to make the situation more comfortable. How cute! Not to forget that they showed their compatibility as a couple here when they're dancing around to random music or playing around with each other's jokes. You also can see they're reluctant to part at the end, they did highfives several times And that weird goodbye scene from Solar... They thought about a hug, but they're too shy and busy with their own thoughts #2: When they talked heart-to-heart with each other
Yeah, especially when they're in their empty pool at their terrace. They talked a lot about what they thought and felt about each other (thanks to that book!). It's like doing WGM BRI but in front of each other. Btw, I'm curious about their thoughts regarding their first meeting I hope they can have talk like this again! Talking about heart-to-heart talk, I also like when they mentioned about each other's strength and weakness when the panelists visited them. Their conversation in the Jeju pool when Eric started to say his wish is also a favorite!
#3: When they're playing around in the snow!

Honestly I love all of the moments when they played together. I picked this one because they looked the most happiest here I'm also confused to pick a moment of their snow date, but I love to see they're just playing and laughing like that, not really care about filming, just having fun. Looking at them happy like that makes me happy too! They really look like two kids when they're like that. They're not 26 and 29, but 6 and 9 (or should I say 26 and 29 months old?) #4: Chuseok Special!
The same with @enko20, it's mainly because they leaned on to each other, especially Solar who wasn't that good with new people. I agree with Solar, they realized their importance to each other after Chuseok special. Their performance in overall games were also exceptionally well, which surprised me. And it's a skinship parade for shippers (and non-shippers) who were thirsty of their skinships How I wish that there's a Ddongi couple focus version of the Chuseok special, so I can watch their interaction even when they're not the main focus hahaha.
#5: Solar's unexpected caring gesture to Eric

Fixing hair, cleaning his eyes... She almost did all of those things unexpectedly, by her intention. She fixed his hair at their 2nd meeting. She cleaned his eyes when they're in the truck. She fixed his hair again when they swam in Jeju (although this time Eric intentionally got his hair messed up). She cleaned his eyes again before they started staring game at the dog playground. She also brushed the snow off from his hair at the snow theme park. And not to forget, Solar's "Are you okay?" when Eric looked tired in the middle of "Heartmon Go!". She worried for him when the others didn't realize it, including Eric himselfHonorable mentions:

Don't know why, but I enjoy watching their conversation on phone. And not to forget Solar's trademark "ppyong~!" at the end of their call -
Their phone push-and-pull
Solar's face turned to be serious when she couldn't find her phone. Then when Eric asked whether she left something, Solar's face turned bright again because she knew what happened They continued to fight and forgot about their eating broadcast for a while. And this cute fight made her informal speech came out naturally We can see Solar also admitted that she didn't really pay attention to her phone when she's with Eric.

You often speak my mind Generally I love to read all the captions when watching variety shows, although that means I have to pause for several times because I can't read Korean fast. I don't know but I think most editors of Korean variety shows are creative (and humorous as well) to come up with those captions Yeah, I know that we (including me!) are curious about their message to each other's parents, especially Solar, who greeted Eric's parents for the first time (on camera) through her message. When I saw that scenes of them gathering chestnuts together that close, I'm kinda spazzing a bit in my heart. But then the camera zoomed in to them, and then they're fighting over a tiny area of that big farm. From there, I thought "I should make an expectation-reality" hahaha
Yeah, I saw it. He even regretted that he didn't come to a particular spot that has many chestnuts from the start. It's because you're following Solar, Eric. And you know, Solar isn't that good to pick a place that many chestnuts (that's why she got fewer than him)
Yup, that Solar's pancake flipping part. It's not a grand gesture, but I feel kinda touched when I realize a small-but-meaningful interaction like that between them

The Korean fans generally seems to be more supporting to male idols and fiercer to bash female idols (I don't know though if it's true or not, just seeing from my perspective). From what I have read, Korean fans tend to support only one group/artist, so the concept of "multifandom" is weird for them. They're loyal to just one group/artist that they support.
Yes, I agree with what @cinnaminskies & @enko20 here posted about WGM and Eric & Solar's (or to be exact MAMAMOO) fandoms. The fact that they got to know each other more through WGM, sometimes I kinda regret it too, but if they weren't the casts, I think we're not here today
K-NamNations dislike WGM so much that they don't want to post anything related to WGM, hope for WGM's cancellation, use curse words on their post related to WGM, even blocking accounts? (I haven't seen the last one for myself though). Even I couldn't find Eric's Snapchat easily as usual when he's in Dubai
For MooMoo, I think they're still supporting Solar in WGM, although they see WGM as a bad show too. Other than the reasons above, they also don't like that Solar is more known as "Eric's wife" because she's asked about him whenever she goes. Well, we know clearly that Eric is asked about Solar more, but MooMoo don't know since they don't pay attention much to Eric (the same for NamNation too I think). But they're thankful that they can see Solar's cuteness every week and they also realize that MAMAMOO gains more new fans from there. The only "bad" things that they did is editing Eric's trace from WGM scenes
For intl fans, yes, they're more chill about this. I also saw some intl MooMoo also hope that Eric & Solar would stay friends because they seems to enjoy having fun with each other. I think some Koreans also think Ddongi couple is a beautiful couple, although I don't know if they're belong to which fandom. Maybe they're just WGM viewers? But there are support messages for Ddongi couple in WGM viewers' board and DC gallery, also positive comments from Naver clips.
But well, sadly we can't do much, can we? If shippers like us came too forward, they'd think we're too delusional and the fandom war would just affect Eric & Solar badly, they would be more careful with each other than before. I don't want to see them acting like they don't know each other after this
I'm already thankful that they can interact outside WGM when they're in the same events. Also, the latest one, I'm surprised with their indirect mention and post related to WGM. Did they test the water or they already discuss about this before?

And I also think that actually we're on the same side with their fandoms. All of us love Eric & Solar, maybe the difference is just the way of showing that love (and perhaps the culture difference)? @autumnleaves19_stv is right too, I couldn't deny that Korean fans are the ones who support them the most, like attending most of their events, buying multiple copies of their albums, taking their HD-quality photos, etc.
And like I said before, maybe because both Eric & Solar are still making their way to their peak of career, although they're in a good age to have a relationship. Yup, Eric & Solar are considered a bit old when they debuted, they also stated about this before.

@97jbombs Hello, welcome to the thread! Agree with most of your words, but yup I think both Eric & Solar are still pursuing their career right now. And looking at some celebs who wanted to be casted in WGM until now, I think one of the reasons (other than to promote themselves) they wanted to join WGM is like you said, to feel "dating"-like experience. Moreover, WGM is a safe option, since fans know that it's a virtual marriage. Another strong reason, I think because they could go on a trip in WGM, which is a difficult thing to do for celebs. And I don't know if WGM really favors our couple or not, I'm happy if they're treated well by MBC

Just noticed when I backtracked this thread, the account owner who posted her selca with her husband & Eric-Solar in Dubai (page 193 of this thread) has made her IG account to private
Hope the reason isn't because of updating photo with our couple
