    From the actors' interviews, there were definitely quite some scenes missing from the final cut which could have added more depth to the story. Hopefully we will get to watch these scenes somehow.. most likely on the Directors' Cut, right.

     

    Yes, this movie really deserves the recognition... be it the producers, directors, actors, etc. Plenty of hard work and dedication.

     

    And you're right! With this movie being sold to other countries as well, I can imagine the number of new found fans for the actors. I so love this movie; a really good one to end 2019. I would not have mind if the movie was longer. The chemistry between the two male leads is sizzling (hahaha... is that an apt word to describe the men??)

     

    And now, I can't help but think of #큐티쁘띠 (Cutie ppeutti) and Robert... hahaha! :lol:

    I caught the sneak preview in Singapore yesterday and it truly was up to my expectations.

    Baekdusan (Ashfall) is a must watch!
    And I personally give it 4.5 out of 5 stars :star:

    Action-packed, funny and heart tugging moments from start till end.

    CG was definitely two thumbs-up!

    I love all five characters and I wished there were more screen time for the female characters.

    Felt that the storyline could have flowed better if they did not cut some scenes (HJW rescuing Suzy from the elevator or the Gangnam train station or more bickering shots between HJW and LBH).

    Otherwise, this is very good... on par with Train to Busan.

    And kudos to all the actors!

    And yes, I could not help but LOL at HJW being lovey dovey with Suzy.  His ears went absolutely red! Hahahaha :lol:

    And Ma Dong Seok... truly is funny! His scenes with Suzy are really hilarious!

    Hey y'all!

     

    Miss you guys so much. And miss spazzing about uri baby on the recent happenings! I truly enjoyed her in the last drama. She really has a knack for carrying out rom-com roles such as Five Enough and 30 but 17. And she is really looking gorgeous in her recent pictorials too!

     

    In the meantime, let me leave you guys with this cutesy scene! Definitely one of my faves :kiss_wink:

    You know which scene nailed it for me?

     

    The part when she cried, 안돼! 안돼! when her appa passed away in the wheelchair.  She really had that sizzling chemistry with the actor who played her father. Really thumbs up!

     

    And I am really looking forward to her next project!  Her acting always give me the goosebumps and I'm sure, she will prove her acting prowess again as she is now getting lead role offers ^_^

     

    Uri Hye Sun has done well.  Have a good rest and vacation!  We will see you on our screens real soon :wub:

    Morning everyone and Season's Greetings!

    I think you mentioned about Jian's 'jealousy' when Hyuk mentioned his baker friend. I am unsure if she knows that it was Jisoo. But yes, I agree. The face which she made when she heard that Hyuk spent playing games with Jisoo and on another occasion, that kinda puzzled me a bit.

     

     

     


    I also cannot fathom as to why Hyuk would waver and go towards Jisoo instead. And after studying her facial expressions when she connected the dots, all the more I don't really like where this is eventually going to lead us to. She would 'hate' Jian even more than there is really a need to.

     

    Would she seriously give a damn knowing that Jian failed in her suicide attempt? Would she be empathetic? Would she truly understand why Jian did what she had to do?

     

    Funny how during the date, she shed tears at the scene where Elsa and Anna reconciled in Frozen. And suddenly, she became 'vengeful' knowing that Jian was Hyuk's first love.

     
     

     

     

    Jian, as always, has her quirks too. How she was annoyed by Do Kyung's presence. How she could possibly be a wee bit 'jealous' of Hyuk and his baker friend. And she was all worried when she heard about DK's hand injury.

     

    Where in the world did our strong-willed girl vanish?

     

    I hope that she does not get distracted by what she originally set out for, despite her confession to DK. I shudder to think what grandfather is capable of doing when he finds out that DK's woman is Jian. And what about the Choi parents? Or Jisoo?

     

    I can foresee a migraine coming soon in weeks to come.

     

    Aiyaiyai...

     

    And OH! I hope Hyuk would be the one to 'protect' Jian if there is a ever need to, especially from Jisoo when she 'attacks' Jian. I want him to see that ugly side of hers.

    Been busy with home renovations that I completely forgot about the new episodes. Managed to watch Ep 31 halfway during lunch hour. And I LOVE the scenes with both Jianny and Hyuk! His smile whenever he is around her. So so precious!

     

    And I also LOVE the part when Jianny was shocked upon hearing the truth when she delivered the lamps. Nothing to do with DK but just her, standing there with her outstretched arms... dumbfounded! She is so darn cute :tongue:

     

    Before I leave, I just wanted to share these gifs... her eyes! Her smile. And yes, I agree... I am beginning to see that uri baby is indeed getting prettier by the week.

    Hey folks, I’m back!

     

    Binged watched four episodes today and I am indeed happy with uri baby’s progress. She is after all the main character who holds everyone captive with her mannerisms, choices that she made, aloofness or even selfishness.

     

    I seriously think Manager Min has something fishy going on. Why did she return the credit card to NMH after more than a week Ji An left? Why did she pass the purse to DK too, on the pretext that she knew if DK is still in contact with her? How did halabeoji know about the swap? And why did he say that she was being too loyal to the Choi family? I bet she was the one who sent the note that Ji An was not the real Choi Eun Seok.

     

    With Ji An’s disappearance, I kinda like how it affected the two fathers.

     

    Seo appa: He was worried sick if Ji An was still alive or dead. Only he was bothered to look for her on the streets. Not mom, brothers or even Ji Soo. Just because her phone was switched off, how could they go on living not knowing what happened to her? But when he eventually found her, she refused to head home and wanted to be alone. I could understand Ji An’s POV but how I wished that appa had been more honest and told her the truth from the very beginning. Now he is questioning his reason for being born and is angry with his family due to his bankruptcy 10 years ago.

     

    Choi appa: When he heard from Seo appa that Ji An has disappeared and not returned home, he too got a bit worried. He even wondered if Ji An saw him punching her dad. He even suggested to NMH that he will hire someone to find her but not too sure if he ever got around to do it.

     

    Ji An has suffered a tremendous deal from the time she attempted to commit suicide. I am glad that it was Hyuk who found her and is now helping her to get back on her own two feet. Guess his persistence paid off and she is beginning to show signs of liveliness once again. And I would not be surprised if he is the one who lashes out to anyone who says mean things to her, especially DK and JS.

     

    I don’t know when will he find out about Ji An and Ji Soo, but it won’t be a pretty sight. Well, we still have 22 episodes more to go! And now with DK not wanting to marry So Ra, I wonder what’s next to rock the Choi family. The actress who plays So Ra is often seen playing mean characters, so I would not be surprised if she is one in this drama too ㅋㅋㅋ

     

    As for uri Jianny, I think she has found her calling in carpentry. Perhaps she might even assist Hyuk to market the products online. Guess she could combine her talents and truly enjoy her passion in her new career.

     

     

    PS. Halabeoji looks like he has PS. I am so bothered by his looks and OH! How fake he was when he said Ji Soo was his grand daughter <_<

    PPS. I really wanna know what Ji An wanted to say to Ji Soo before she went missing.

    PPPS. I like Seo Hyun and Ji Ho interactions as compared to Ji Tae and wife. Mehhh :wink:
