JG once became the most hated celebrity by reporters while JE had bunch of haters. So, both became hated celebrities at some point. **THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE WHO LOVES THEM THAN HATERSS**

JG: In 2014, he starred in Joseon Gunman (KBS)

**They could have meet each other in KBS drama awards if both of their series was shown in the same year.. LOL

JG & JE is an inspiration. A real example that if you work hard to reach your dreams/goals, no matter how hard the obstacles are, then you'll make it. One day, You will make it! (and while writing this, suddenly, JG's post came to mind.. "We Can Make It" .. if we try.. We Can Make It, U & I.. we can, i know that we can make it.. ) LOL hahahah

@WH It seems like my brain and thought process works very similar to yours. On top of all the similarities, you can pile on all the evidence -- the things he said; the things she said; the change in behavior; the boldness; the risk -- and much of it captured on camera or in print. You can apply science and statistics to so much of this. Singular occurrences don't mean squat, but a host of situations compiled together to create a pattern...that's cold, hard tangible data. Nothing vague or ambiguous. You throw in the eye smiles, the giddiness, the skinship and all the warm and fuzzy heat these two give off...and it makes watching their interaction such a pleasure. That's why I'm on this ship until it either sails off in a blaze of glory, or sinks to the bottom of the ocean. I've NEVER seen a list this long of reasons why this couple just might be the REAL deal.

EDIT: Let the naysayers, haters and antis say what they will. They haven't done the research. This is not delulu.

I can see why Hanna is precious to her. I'm thankful for our Hanna...especially when YIN is busy. There aren't too many close friends who can go out with IU in public. Feed her well, Hanna-shi and lift her spirits...especially during those times when she can't be with her other half.

Ahhhh. Thank you @latinoona. I KNOW I am a broken record, but I know I'm not the only Uaena who loves IU/Jieunie's voice and is always mesmerized by it. KPop and the K-entertainment industry is actually chock full of singers with tremendous, beautiful voices. But I always keep going back to our IU because of her interpretations and the stories and feelings her voice evokes. So here I am once again repeating a wish I have for our Joongi -- the experience of having our Jieunie sing to him, in an intimate setting (LOL...not necessarily just she and him, but with others present...because a dedicated song would be such a meaningful gift). All that would be necessary is her guitar and her voice. I'm sure he would melt to pieces.

@Silvermaine I think a lot of people will say that he's referencing the backlash caused by the dating rumors and being tied to IU and K's breakup. That they (he and his fans) can make it through this rough patch. BUT then why be silent for a whole week, only to post a day after IU surfaces again in IG????

Joongi doesn't strike me as someone who rushes through his posts. He definitely puts a lot of thought into everything he does in SNS.

@NoonaE Chingu, @akinahana89 and I want to let you know we think this is definitely a crumb. We'd like to add to your theory and let you know, it's not really delulu at all. If you take a look at the spoiler box below, it will give you Google translations for IU's previous posts for her other friends/sunbaes. Though clearly friendly (especially the comment for Eve), her aim is clear on each one -- she is supporting the efforts of each of these artists.

For her most recent post for Hyemi, however, her commentary is clearly very different from the prior posts. The tags in the other three posts definitely imply promotion and support. She promotes for Seulong, but says in the first person that she earned a guest spot. Her comment for Thunder is very supportive. And her comment for Eve is fun and suggests a close relationship since she refers to the artist (one of them at least) as her big brother

Yes, IU is Hyemi's sunbae, but what's absent is the 'hwaiting' tone and message of the other three. The translation -- 'Her voice is so clear. Very clear.' -- can be interpreted as a compliment, but the emphasis is interesting -- the voice is so clear...very clear. It can also be interpreted as 'the message is clear...so very clear'. Note the emoticon of the mouse after the tags to infer 'quiet'. You're right by they way, as a songwriter, lyrics are extremely important to our IU/Jieunie. Words carry weight and meaning. If you've ever watched IU in a variety where she was required to participate in games or missions that involve the use of words and phrases, you'll find that she's actually quite cunning and creative when it comes to the use of words.

The primary message that she infers is clear, if I were to take a guess, would be:

His Touch

The circular or rhythmic movement or touch of Joongi's hand creates somewhat of a hypnotic effect which is evident when you look at IU's eye movement. Her eye reaction moves in concert with his hand/fingers. LOL. I was delighted at the time to see she wasn't immune to his charms. And there's another 'tell' to prove she's definitely affected. When Joongi starts the sweep of his fingers backward, you also see the slight movement of IU's head swaying back almost in concert with the sway of his hand...which is ironic since his touch is so feather light...certainly not enough to push her head. One can easily argue this is just a case of action/reaction, but given all the things we know now.... At the time this aired, I figured it was 50/50 there might be a little something more there, likely more on the level of budding mutual attraction.

By the way, as we know, and as Joongi and her various other co-stars have all said, our IU/Jieunie is a promising actress. She'll only get better with each project. A young actress (or any actor/actress for that matter), can't fake natural body reactions -- the dilation of the pupils, the glazing over of the eyes, the natural sway of the head. Everything you see below is 100 percent natural.

@starcandy0516 Totally agree about the article. I want to comment however that there's one up side if they truly think that the song from Voldys album is about their breakup. That album was released in mid-June, which means the breakup occurred even before they finished filming SHR.

@ellebanana Don't be sad. Our Jieunie nor our Joongi have unfollowed each other in IG. And ALL of us have witnessed the genuine affection between them -- the accepted skin ship, the stolen glances, the eye smiles, the praise, the support -- all of it. You can't fake any of that. And all of this has been recorded on video. It's not a second hand story we've been passing to each other in the thread. They have something very special and precious between them, and regardless of the stage that it's in, it's apparent it would take a LOT for either of them to walk away from one another. And even with Namoo's press release stating they are close colleagues, it's a statement that they felt HAD to be generated in order to protect Joongi, and tangentially, our IU.

@Silvermaine Our chingu @meeibe16 is correct. It might not seem like it because of their constant and consistant barrage, but IU's haters are still a small insignificant number compared to her fans. She has an impressive, diverse and extensive catalog of music for one so young. She is INDEED one of the top 5 richest singers in SK, and she does also have the respect of other artists, as well as the praise of many of the veteran actors and directors she's worked with.

When I mentioned IU and Joongi being a powerful couple...hence a 'power' couple as one of our other chingu have mentioned, I was being completely serious. IU's status in the music industry is no joke and not a thing to be taken lightly, regardless of what the haters and antis say. I'm glad many of our chingu here are getting to know that about her. And Joongi, he seriously could be the real prince of Asia rather than Kwang Soo (This is not an insult nor a claim. I'm just using him to provide context for this example.) In other words, while we all agree that Joongi deserved a top excellence award at SAF, his receipt of the KWave Top Hallyu Star award was most certainly deserved. Joongi ranks among the top 5 celebrities who have a massive following in Asia...and most certainly beyond.

When you think of all the celebrity couples you know or may ship and you take these facts into consideration, there is no question whatsoever that Joongi and IU would be well matched. NEITHER need to level up nor down as suggested by some in Nate. And their success and popularity in their respective fields would never be a point of contention between them. In fact, we've all come to know they like and respect each other exactly as they are. Their chemistry and affection for each other, while a pain point right now in the aftermath of KihaU's breakup, will, in my humble opinion, be the thing that will endear them to many more people besides those that support them now.

And then, so many things are falling into place. Let's look at things and timelines:

a.) Lee Hwi Jae's comment, although it was just generally tactless.

b.) Hong Jong Hyun's comment about the two of them getting drunk.

c.) Joon Gi explicitly stating his physical attraction to Ji Eun in the midst of his drunken stupor (lol)

d.) Quiet for like a week after the SBS Awards

e.) Both of them attending each other's concert/FM in Taiwan and being all giddy.

f.) supposedly a week after IU's Taiwan concert, JKH and her have officially broken up.

g.) During that week, we were only talking about the Korean article @starcandy0516 found.

h.) A week after, the break up announcement was made... Well, not in a formal announcement format but just sort of like... A simple revelation by JKH's agency. Idk about you but this doesn't seem like something that was just brought out a week ago.

i.) from the news, it says that IU and JKH have been trying and failing to resurrect their relationship; often being on and off. I can only assume that during her concerts starting December, they had minimal contact.

@Silvermaine All true. If you add in all the other stuff we've compiled as well, there's nothing delulu about the big picture. But hey, if people outside of our thread believe that our theories are the cause of the dating rumors that surfaced, let them believe what they want. As long as Joongi and IU/Jieunie are doing fine, that's all that really matters.

I love you guys. I was so very glad to see that within the confines of our thread, the vibe here is still harmonious, optimistic and upbeat.

@starcandy0516 I was surprised that the NetizenBuzz comments weren't really as bad as expected. I've seen so much worse on all the articles related to our IU. Am hoping this feedback is pretty consistent in all the SK platforms you've been checking. Have been waiting patiently for IU to visit her fan cafe and talk to all of us about what's been going on, much like she did after her dating news first broke out in 2015. It seems like she needs a little more time right now though. Hope she's doing okay. I know she has a tendency to blame herself. Hoping our Joongi is telling her he'll be just fine.

It was around 9pm when his message arrived, Jie Eun was planning on her special farewell party for Inna unnie. Inna unnie 5 years on Volume Up KBS radio station had come in a closure on last May. But since both of them were pretty busy and the broke up situation kind of made her forgot on her first plan and promise to her unnie on their last show together at Volume Up. She had promised to make an unforgettable farewell party for her number one DJ and unnie. It is time to spoiled Inna unnie, it is the right thing to do after all she did for her.

‘Are you busy? Do you want to go out and have a drink with me?’  Ji Eun eyes became wider in a second, she blinked and reread the message a couple of times. Her heart beat a little faster than the usual. Joon Gi oppa is asking her to have a drink with him.

‘Alone?? Just the two of us??  Ommo ommo ... Ottoke...’  She panicked, it had always been a group gathering, not too many people but never been just the two of them, Hong Jung Hyun shi was the one that mostly  around and went with them, sometimes Jin Ki Jo shi, Hera shi, Kim San Ho shi or Jo Min Gi shi would joined too, Han Na unnie was at China, so she couldn’t join the gathering, which is why she made crying face emoticon on her private and group chat whenever she knew about the group meetings.  Another message came in, while she was panicking  on what to answer him.

‘I understand if you can’t though, it is late after all.*smile*’

“Oh no no no, I will, I am going, it is not that late, I can go!” she exclaimed in panic, forgetting that was a message not a phone call. She realized that a little bit late and quickly answered his message.

‘Sure oppa, where should we meet? The usual place?’

She waited for his answer... 3 minutes passed, she kept staring at her phone screen waiting. ‘Why he didn’t answer?? Was I too late?? Come on... please answer oppa’

She threw her phone to her bed; angry to herself thinking that she had missed the chance, when all of the sudden a new message came in. Quickly she grabbed her phone and checked the message.

‘Yes the usual place is good, thank you Ji Eun ah *big grin smile, hug*. I will see you in an hour’

Ji Eun rushed to her wardrobe, ‘What to wear? Something simple or cute or sexy? Argh how about the make up?? What to do?? Oh my gosh what is wrong with me, calm down Ji Eunni!’

In the end she picked a simple jeans with pink top and put on a simple but cute make up on. She took out her big hoodie, hat and masker, wore her favorite sneaker. She still need to have precaution, She didn’t want  to get him in gossip magazine. He has always had that clean status all these years, she didn’t plan on changing that. Life of celebrities....

When she arrived, she spot him pretty quickly. He waved at her, pointing at the sit in front of him.

“I am sorry I am late, oppa,” she bowed at him apologetically.

“It’s okay I have just arrived like 5 minutes ago too, the usual?” His smile is somewhat brighter than the usual today, quietly Ji Eun noted in. She nodded at his question, thanked and smiled back. He quickly ordered her favorite drink and returned to their sits with the drink.

“So, the drama will aired in a few days, are you nervous?”

“Very!” she blurted out, Joon Gi oppa chuckled at her straightfowardness.

“You don’t really have to be though. You did a great job Ji Eun ah.” He said while looking at her eyes directly. She could feel that he is being sincere, Joon Gi oppa always been sincere and open to her from the days they were at the filming. That was probably what made her trust him and let him got closer.

“Can I believe that? From someone who said that he is worried; to have an idol as the leading actress?” she teased him.

“Hey, that was before I see how hard you work on your scenes and how amazinng the result was,”  he quickly retorted. “You have proven me wrong Ji Eun ah, you are Jjang!” He raised his thumbs up and laughed brightly.

“Thank you paeha your benevolence is beyond measure” She bowed at him and laughed.

“Good...” he said it with his kingly  voice and nooded wisely, before burst into another cheerful laugh. Ji Eun followed his lead and laugh whole heartily.

“Han Na unnie is amazing though, she delivered Yeon Hwa amazingly. I adored her acting, she is really beautiful. Her Yeon Hwa is really beautiful”

“Yes, she is a great actress,” he nodded in agreement, “But your Hae So... it is beyond compare. I am thankful that you are the one who get the role, Ji Eun ah. I really do.”

She felt her face getting hot by his praises,

“Aigooo..... you are just being kind oppa.”

“No, Hae Soo is really beautiful.... You are really beautiful Ji Eun ah”

An akward silence filled the air, Ji Eun didn’t know, was it the drink or something else, at that moment all the noise around her went quiet, she could hear her heart beating louder than any drum everything felt in  slow motion, all she could see was his eyes, his nose, his smile.... his ... lips.

“Uhm... I am sure... That Ki Ha shi would say that to you everyday too,” he coughed and cleared his throat breaking the silence. He diverted his gaze to the band who was on stage.

“Ah hahaha thank you oppa...” She laughed nervously. ‘He thinks i am still with Ki Ha oppa....Why do I feel disappointed?’ She gazed him intently, he sensed her gaze and looked back at her with his sweet smile; at that point she wished time would just stop

A revelation .... is that what it’s called? That night she found out her feeling for him. She tried to reason herself that it was impossible, not so long ago she had her heart shredded to pieces by one she called as “Love at first sight” and she was sure she won’t fall in love in anytime soon. It just doesn’t make any sense, how he entered her heart; she refused to acknowledge it. No matter how she sees it, it is probably just a rebound or worst.. Hae Soo feelings. She still has Hae Soo feelings attached and falling for him would just be like falling for his Wang So not for who he really is. She knew how those type of love would end, when the magic disperse so would the love. So she made decision to bury her feeling and would try to kill it somehow, with all her might; or that was what she thought.

On the day of the pres conference, when she saw him again, she forgot all that she had decided few days ago. Her eyes kept finding their way to him, her ears seemed to gain some kind of super power because they were able to catch his laugh and chatters from far away, her lips been in half moon up whenever he was around and her heart .... oh her heart been running in miles on high speed whenever he was near; she was sure she will have a heart attack soon.

She couldn’t stop herself to keep stealing glances at him, smiled at every words that he said, blushed whenever their eyes met, felt like in heaven whenever he praised and support her, and agreed on most of his opinions.

“Sigh... ottoke...” Ji Eun was in the ladies room, it was break time before the cast interview.

“What’s wrong?” Han Na unnie voice startled her. She didn’t know that she was there. Ji Eun just shook her head and bit her lips, she frowned.

“That look... doesn’t like nothing for me,” Han Na looked at her with concern.

“Look, Ji Eunni... you know how I am not someone who like to poke my nose to someone else business, but really I was hoping that you could trust me and told me what’s been bugging you lately, I am here for you... though I may not have the solution, but I am here for you.”

“Unnie... Is not that I don’t trust you.... I just don’t know how to talk about this,” Ji Eun felt guilty to make Han Na unnie thought she didn’t trust her.

“Try... you could at least try,” Han Na smiled kindly.

“Okay unnie... but later, let’s go somewhere together after this event.”

“Sure, let’s go drink together, just the two of us. Beside I have been left behind on our gatherings, you guys been having fun without me.” Han Na made funny sad face to lighten her mood, Jie Eun smiled and nodded.

“I... I think... I am ... in love,” Ji Eun said quietly. They were in one of her favorite hang out place. It was a small drinking joint not to far from her apartment, the owner knew her and always gave her a private area, away from the common crowd.

“To? Ki Ha shi? He is your boyfriend... how is that something to sigh about?” Han Na sipped her soju.

“No...,” she shook her head, “we broke up.”

Han Na unnie looked at her and quickly made a connection with the ladies room episode, where she found Ji Eun crying in the corner of the room.

“Ah... I see, I am sorry to hear that.”

“No, it is okay, it is inevitabled. We have been in break ups and reconciles. I guess we have reached our limit.”

“Was the fact that you are in love with someone else, is the cause?” Han Na unnie asked carefully.

“No, never unnie,” Ji Eun quickly retorted. “I would never..., just somewhere along the line I guess our love was not enough. He said he just couldn’t do it anymore and I.... no matter how much I loved him, I agreed... we were at our limit.”

“So what’s the problem? Ohhh... Don’t tell me you are in love with a married guy?!” Han Na unnie made a playfull shocked face.

“Nooo ommo unnie...!” Ji Eun almost shouting in surprise.

“Sorry, sorry, I was just joking,” Han Na chuckled, “then why are you so troubled?”

“Because I don’t know.... if this is real feeling or just a rebound... or even worst ... a circumstantial feeling.”

“Circumstantial feeling?” Han Na unnie repeated, confused.

“I am in love with Lee Joon Gi sunbaenim,” she said in small voice.

Han Na was quiet at first then she finally understood what has bugging Ji Eun.

“You are worried that you are in love to Wang So instead of Lee Joon Gi shi?”

Ji Eun nodded as the answer that was her biggest concern.

“Then... you should make sure, test it if needed, take your time, make a list for things that you love about him and make a list for things that make Hae Soo loves Wang So, make comparison, if you find lots of similarities... then yeah it could be you are in love to Wang So and not sunbaenim,” Han Na said while looking at her eyes. She looked serious but with a smile she continued,

“But... I don’t really think that it was Ji Eunni. ”

“What do you mean unnie?”

“I think it could be real love, because Hae Soo .... she already ended even before you broke up with your boyfriend, for a rebound.... that one I am not sure but I don’t really think it is. In anyway you should make sure, so you won’t regret it.” Han Na smiled encouragingly.

“And.... whatever your final answer is, I believe in you. I never see anyone at your age as mature and wise as you. I know you will get your answer, I will always support you.”

Moon Lovers had aired for a few episodes, the ratings weren’t as good as everyone expected. Baek Hyun and Ji Eun were at the end of the stick that got bashed the most. Usually she would ignore the basher by taking them in and refuted in her own way. But this time she really felt bad and sory for dragging other casts with her, if only it was just her own work it would have been a different story.

‘Good evening Jie Eun shi, do you want to go out for a drink? Joon Gi sunbaenim and I are out at the usual place. Was just thinking if you’re free and interested to join.’ Hong Jong Hyun message popped in her phone.

‘Good evening, I will see you there in 30 minutes. Thank you for inviting me Jong Hyun shi’ She really could use some drinks, and she also need to see him. It has been a couple weeks now since their last meeting. He still messaged her and sometimes facetimed but she had been avoiding him a little bit. Due to her need to do evaluation with her feeling to him. But tonight seeing the ratings lower than 7% really taking a toll on her.

“I am so sory oppa, sunbae... it is because my lacking skill, that Moon Lovers got such a low ratings.” Ji Eun pratically bowed at them soon after she arrived.

“What... no no that’s not true, Ji Eun ah. I have told you right you did an amazing job,” Joon Gi oppa quickly stopped her from bowing any deeper.

“You really did Ji Eun shi, stop thinking the low ratings because of you. You can’t really believe the haters ... they are all lies.” Hong Jong Hyun patted her back in reassurance.

Joon Gi oppa then passed her drink, they have ordered it before she arrived.

“For now let’s just drink and enjoy the night.” He smiled as usual.

“I wonder how Baek Hyun shi.... he got bashed pretty bad too,” Jong Hyun shi drank his 3rd can of beer.

“I have messaged him, he should be okay.... with his busy schedule, he didn’t really have time to wory about the bashing.” Joon Gi poured his drink to his glass.

As usual he would try to take care his hobae, even though the filming had ended a few months ago. Ji Eun wondered if she was more concern about her feeling for him or his feelings for her. The thought on all of his kindness, his concern, care and constant supports were only an act of a sunbae toward his hobae; for some reason poked her nerve, she was upset.

She ordered her fourth Chamisul to drown her baseless anger to the point she felt a little bit tipsy. . Hong Jong Hyun had went home somewhere around her third bottle, she didn’t really pay attention. He left saying he has schedule tomorrow, so it is just her and Joon Gi oppa.

“You are drinking more than usual, are you okay Ji Eun ah?” Joon Gi oppa was watching her; concerned.

“I am okay, I am not drunk yet,” she quickly retorted while pouring more soju to her glass and gluped it down in one go.

“I think you need to slow down a bit. You are driving here right?”

“I said I am not drunk yet!... Oppa” she almost forgot her manner, adding oppa on her last sentence didn’t really making the tone milder though, but at least she tried.

Joon Gi made a low held down laugh, he found Ji Eun tipsy manner cute

“Why are you laughing? Oppa,” she was having trouble to keep her manner while feeling tipsy and annoyed at the same time.

“You are allowed to use banmal, let’s be casual to one another.” Joon Gi said with a chuckled.

“Okay then, dont regret it later oppa, since you suggested it, I will use banmal,” she happily agreed on. She poured the last remaining soju from her bottle to her glass and drank it in another one go. She raised her hand to request another bottle.

“I really think you should slow down Ji Eun ah,” He pulled her hand down stopping her from ordering another bottle.

“Stop it! Don’t be so caring...!”she pulled her hand of his roughly, she half realized what the alcohol had done to her, but it was too late to stop. Joon Gi oppa was stunned

“Don’t be too kind to me, you confused me. Oppa... your words, your actions.... I really have trouble to understand it. Is this how you treated your hobae?? Does it apply to every junior actress and actor you know?”

“Ji Eun ah...”

“I don’t like it.... I hate it!“ She blinked a tear rolled down her cheek. She saw his hand raised toward her cheek, but stopped mid air. He gaze her intently, she gazed him back the air felt thick and intense.

“What if I said I don’t treat every junior the same? What if I said that you are special? Ji Eun ah... “ his voice was low and deep.

But then... AFTER the break up news was released...

Namoo suddenly released a last minute notice that Joon Gi is NOT attending the LA premiere. Instead of flying to LA from HK, Joon Gi will now be going HOME, where Jieun is currently trending in SK for the big break up news.

As of right now, Joon Gi's name is STILL on the confirmed list on Regal LA Stadium's website.

THEN... at the airport, on his way home to SK...

Joon Gi makes this gesture to his fans. WHY?

Remember, Stargazers, in SHR when SoHae played shadow puppets... What did So's bird do to Soo's bird?

HE EMBRACED HER PROTECTIVELY WITH HIS WINGS.

What does this mean? Joon Gi is telling his fans that he's going home to PROTECT Jieun.

During this time, where negative implications would surely be made towards him by antis and haters, it would be a good opportunity and idea for Joon Gi to steer clear in LA as to not fan the flames, but Joon Gi is heading fearlessly and straight on into the battlefield. With PROOF that he was supposed to be halfway across the world, Joon Gi is still choosing to go home to Jieun.

It was also ideal for him that the break up news was released while he was still in HK, which could have been planned on Jieun's part as a way of protecting him too. Most career oriented men with a CONFIRMED schedule would have continued his set schedule, regardless of other circumstances. But no, not Joon Gi. He has made his priority very clear.

Tell me, Stargazers, can Joon Gi make it any more obvious to his fans that Jieun is the important woman in his life? Isn't this exactly why we support them? Because they are willing to do anything for each other and they make each other so happy, they glow?

THIS sets it in permanent stone for me. I have always had faith in JoonU, especially with the added indications of a break up dated all the way back in July. But this... this is no longer cake, but a grand feast. The whole nine yards.

Well, Chingudeul, our captain has spoken. Put your seat belts on because I think this is where our ride gets a little bumpy. In the same way that our Joongi will continue to support our Jieunie, we need to ask ourselves what we can do to help them. I know it will hurt many of us to read negative comments about either Joongi and Jieunie. While it helps that we know there are many who support them, there are people who are going to suggest that either IU cheated and/or Joongi might have been the reason for the breakup. Let's not sit back. We can and should comment on those same publications and blogs -- AllKpop, KdramaStars, Soompi, Netizen Buzz, etc. Let's not let their negative/erroneous comments stand alone, allowing others to think these claims are true. Let's add our voices to that ongoing commentary so that people are also aware of the truth. At the end of the day, when Joongi starts checking for comments to gage the temperature of what's being said, I don't know about you, but I'd like him and IU/JE to see there are many who have their backs.
