I dont know if you have seen it but JJS is in "The King 2hearts" .He is not the lead actor there its the first drama I watched with him.

If that drama was not written and directed by the people who are behind Reply series not a soul in soompi,twitter and other platforms would spend hours analyzing every breath and stares the actors take and give.
Everyone would agree that the 4 main couples are:
GU+JWon
Mihna +SH
Song Hwa+IJ
IS+JWan.
and everyone would enjoy and pay more attention in the medical stories and the everyday life of the 5 friends .

I think all possibilities regarding shipping are open.
-When JWon was singing the very meaningful song the camera went to SongHwa .
-SongHwa rest her head to his shoulder and from the preview we see JWon is doing the same in next episode.
-Ik Jun is a great friend although I dont agree with his methods but certainly I want to see this
wonderful person happy with the person he admires all these years.
-I am a wintergarden fan but if they decide to go with the Flowergarden couple I think I will be more worry for IkJun 's feelings than for my unsailed ship.
-The scene with SongHwa next to Uji and after seeing IJ /SoHwa through the rain window gave me such warm feelings.
-Dr.Jae Haek got me emotional.He proved me that he will be a good doctor.
-I want to see similar scene for my GU too.She has so much to give .
-I would love to see more screen time with Dr.JWan. Kyoung Ho basically brought me here and I am complaining his scenes are not enough.

It was not JWon that said for IJ that he never was after a woman? even with his marriage it was his ex wife that chased him.

Hi all,
regarding calling my girl Dr.Maggot I used to do the same.
Mianhae ( whoa! I m getting better with my Korean vocabulary
)but I need some episodes to get familiar with the korean names.After I get them I m fine.

LOL I used to call IkJun Iksun , little I knew its a girl's name .
Anw, to make the long story short , not always using the maggot referral means posters do it in a disrespectful manner.
It's the whole context of the comment that tells you that.
I see some like to do it in a negative way .
I personally like characters with flaws because these characters will give me the development I want to see in a movie,drama.

because I am familiar with the writer/director I did not comment in the other points that poster @nrllee mentioned.
in my previous posts I wrote what is my opinion in all these so I dont want to repeat myself and sound as a broken record.
But for this particular one I think we can see the whole picture.

but in that scene with the professors GU never had the choice of JWon.
He had no surgery file on the table for her to pick him up.
So it's not that she picked IJ when she had the option of JWon .
On the contrary she picked IJ because JWon walked in and right away she made her mind.
Went with IJ -JWon 's buddy -so she can have more pics of him maybe, but mostly because she could not think with a straight mind knowing he is there.
LOL . IJ and GU 's give and take silent agreement.
I am jogging .I dont believe in the silent agreement that but we tent to be more favorable with people that we are closer.

JWan did not meet IS in the emergency room and fell for her.
If you go back in episode 3 I think at the end of it you can see when he sees her in the beginning she looks familiar to him but he can not be sure so after he makes sure the patient is not in an emergency situation he checks her name tag and sees her name so he recognizes IJ 's young sister.
I am sure when he was young in high school with IJ he had a crush at his best friend's little sister.
I am pretty sure in the next episodes we will see a flashback of JWan and IS young.
It was then from episode 3 that I knew JWan was never interested in SongHwa probably because his first love was IS.
LOL maybe I am wrong but that's my theory.
p.s He even knows and remembers IS dog's name .How many males remember their best friend's little sister's dog name?

About JWan .
I am still waiting to see what happened to Hawaii.And I still want to see if IS was JWan s first love or if I want to be more accurate one of his first loves .hahaha
You remember the Mickey /Iksun sentence exchanges he had with IJ when they were talking about IS?when he thought someone is dead? lol
I feel that there is more.
As for Hawaii the only thing I can think is that JWon saw him in a situation that JWan dont want anyone to know.What all know is a confident JWan who dates a different woman every 3 months.
So in that photo probably JWan shows his vulnerability and how different he is from the prickly person they all think.
JWan left himself to fall for IS and here again I am thinking did he had a crush on her from before thats why he visited her 5-6 times ? even IS mentioned the frequency of his visit.It looked like JWan grabbed the chance to finally be close to her.So everything in this couple maybe did not proceed fast like we think.
In the next episodes I also think we ll see a "heartbroken" JWan if IS choose to leave for her career.

Nope I am not happy but I try to focus in other aspects of the drama and I hope the best for my girl Dr.Jang.I have faith to Dr.IJ that he will be there for her.

To me the difference in JWon 's behavior towards GU most likely has to do with the fact that she starts to be a more mature doctor.More warm towards patients and probably she stopped looking at him like a 17 year old girl with a crush so probably he feels comfortable with her moving on and he starts be more relax around her.
I actually like to see first a confident Dr.Jang and watch more of her character development . Dr.Ik Jun can wait or maybe Andrea
who knows what will happen in 3 seasons.

From the moment they see her in the elevator,look at JWon 's eyes and how he looks at her ,waives at her and after when he goes in with Jwan how very briefly their eyes met and linger for a second .
I am not good in analyzing and decipher things but some things are very obvious .
If this was coming from another writer/director I would go with a general view but coming from these two I pay more attention in gestures and looks.LOL no i m not going to the extend to look for door lines, meaning behind songs,I am not good at this anw but the answer is more simple sometimes. If you see the looks the characters give esp. in the first 2 episodes you can tell where the drama goes.
But because I want to see a blooming wintergarden my only hope is the writer.
Maybe she will change a little her style this time .
As for the Parasite referral @nrllee
its a memorize song and I am trying to see the connection .
I say i am trying because I have another drama that I watching this time and there you have to connect many dots .

You quoted me but you left out a paragraph that changes the meaning of what I wrote.
I never said I wanted the writer to change her writing style.
I said IF she wants viewers to focus in the main purpose of her work which is friendship then she should not throw hints and other little things with ambiguous meaning.
To me it seems like she loves doing it (and she is doing it very well).Then I dont see why she says that she want us to pay attention in the general picture when she enjoys seeing us to get too much occupied with other features .
I do not follow her interviews I only read what she said in posts here in the thread so maybe I got the wrong impression but definitely I never said she has to change her writing style.
I have seen ep.9 once and I have to replay some scenes but what i saw so far makes it clear to me:
1 . sorry my fellow shippers we are together on this but.....
Andrea is there for SongHwa.
The lingering look in the elevator and the look he gave to Song Hwa when he was in his father funeral and all of them were asked if any of them had more than friendship's feelings says it all.
SongHwa seems to be close with his mom and the whole thing about IS exboyfriend and her good relation with his mother is another sign for us.
2.Dr. Jang starts to give brighter smiles to Dr.IJ ( I start seeing them as couple now)
He starts to be involved with her personal life.lol he even borrows money from Andrea to buy her a drink.hahaha I love him .I always love people who make others comfortable and do take the extra steps to do that.

Most of my favorite series have no love line or if it exists, it is very subtle.
Misaeng or Strange forest for example .I was in love with these 2 dramas and i was counting the moments to see new episodes and I was praying all the time they would not add a major love line because I knew most viewers would be drawn to this part and the rest of the plot had to follow after.
I am 100% with @JJS's Fan-atics when she said they say to us not to focus in the love lines but most of the drama is about that" finding the clues" game.
I loved for example J series "Code Blue".
Its a medical drama with love lines in but most of the drama is about the medical cases, patients ,doctors, politics in hospital.
I thought HP would be the same but of course seeing the writer I knew that will not happen even though I had a small hope she will show us something different from her Reply series.
She is capable of that.
If she wants viewers to focus in friendship then she has to put her clear love lines and stop playing with door lines, shoes , vase of flowers etc.
She has to show us the whole picture in a normal order and not when we will be in episode 10 of season 2 she will give us flashbacks of who bought SongHwa old pair of shoes or they will show us what happen with JWon car from epis.9 season 1 in episode 6 of season 3
Ratings now for the quality of this drama are average.
I read other dramas in cable channels got a 20% in ratings and in my opinion are not even half as good as HP. I understand is all about preferences.
Oh, I realized this is a long post .
