I don’t see it being an issue with Lee Sun Kyun to do that as he is an actor first and foremost, but I bet doing a scene like that with him would be a major risk for IU as far as her idol image is concerned. But if she intends to become a full-fledged actress anyway, then by all means, bring on the hot kiss! She’s already started with her transformation anyway when she decided to take on the dark role of Lee Ji An.
I cannot begin to imagine how it would be. As it is right now, their chemistry is already explosive. And to think all they ever do is walk alongside each other and look at each other and talk. Coupled with all the pent-up emotion and passion that their characters have (because I do believe that they’re both equally passionate. They just had to control their emotions to protect themselves from getting hurt.), they’re bound to blow the roof off the building when they actually kiss.
Well i think IU will be just fine.. she had done passionate kiss scenes before...
just like this here ...

If DH will bear being miserable for another 20 years with that wife of him...
And live a life like a zombie as usual... then this is not the "healing" drama they are referring to.
Might as well this be the "Ahjussi Walking Dead" spin-off.
Okey they might be so cruel to us and not let DH and JA be together in the end.. ok fine !
But I still think DH will not heal with YH around, what she killed in him can never be revived.

The Preview
It seems they are congratulating DH, it seems they are celebrating... could he be Director already?
He became Director ? and chose to stay with his cheating wife ? ...... isn't that awesome? but look at DH in the preview he looked more dead now... more weary... it's like the world had gotten even heavier than before... without that small, little bean who keep nagging him to buy her food, and rides trains with him, who drink beer with him after work, who says words that shocks and rattles him, and walk with him going home.

Been watching my favorite clips over and over again on YT as well. I really can’t believe how this drama has sucked me in! I never expected how wonderful the storyline would be when I first checked out the first 2 episodes. And I am still amazed on how overwhelming the chemistry is between LSK and LJE/IU. Even now, I can’t imagine what my reaction will be when we finally get to see how everything ends.
On another note, I hope LSK and IU get to work together again in future projects. Preferably a film, where there’s more freedom when it comes to storytelling. Their chemistry shouldn’t go to waste.
Yeah i hope so too that they do a movie together. Their chemistry is really special and rare, the production of MA really strike gold in casting LSK and LJE together in this drama.

The Ending?
In Kdrama-land, there had been a lot awesome drama that have been given disastrous, lousy endings, which sadly spoiled it. Well can we really hope that MA will not end that way?
As i've said in a previous post, this is a breakthrough drama, if PD & the writer will have the courage and make a stand, inspite of the crticisms, they should give this drama a breakthrough ending as well, by giving DH & JA a chance to be together. Well that is hopefully...
We can concede to a time jump (a year or two?) as long as it is necessary for DH and JA to settle things in their lives first. DH has amicably separated/divorced from his wife, he may not or may stay with his job, well i wish he'd be Director by then because he deserves the promotion, and hopefully all the rotten executives in the company are all fired already. One of the reasons for staying in that company is - the Chairman is a good and just man. And he needs someone like DH to take care and continue the company he built....set aside those work politics.
I really hope JA will not go to prison for what she did, cause who will be the complainant ? DH? he will be the one to press charges against her?
Cause if she's going to prison, then lets put in all the others first, that JY and all the lecherous executives supporting him, the ones who initially sent the bribe money... JY and YH for their adultery.... GI for harassing and beating up JA.. etc etc.
Now if the ending is that DH and JA will go on separate ways, then no time jump is needed, that will not be necessary anymore, why wait for so long just for them to cut ties in the end afterall?

They just give me this Gregory Peck- Audrey Hepburn feels (who have became best friends for life after doing the movie Roman Holiday).
Anyway as they say for an onscreen couple to click they shoud have a certain connection behind the camera. There are some who have this such simmering, fiery chemistry compared to others and we wonder why?
And this friend of mine who loves to analyze this between OTPs has literally an out of this world analysis... it is in the heavens she says hahha... She has been studying birthcharts (the sun, moon, planets placements in astrology) for years. And according to her the synastry of LSK & IU birthchart strongly (ultimate being the high scores) indicates "soulmates". And most pairing she says gets high score on either being soulmates or high score on "strong physical attraction" guess what hahha, LSK-IU gets high scores on both, wow! And this is what got me, she says "those who will witness such unions will be drawn in as well like an addiction"...
Hahha , well not many might believe such things about astrology, but if there's any truth to that it might then be that once, in another lifetime LSK & IU were soulmates indeed.

I also think this is a breakthrough drama, it's epic.
This unlikely pairing, LSK & IU, really surprised me with their over the charts chemistry. They have this connection that is mesmerizing, that draws you in and wants to see more, and more of them.
I really commend the production of this drama. Most of the scenes, the scenarios.. the feels and emotions are just so real like those you see in indie films, the stark reality.
I hope the other drama productions gets inspirations from MA, and make it their benchmark.

But seriously their conversation here... made me see DH as someone who seems really confused at this point in his life. And "confused" is not nice.
He has a most serious, crucial situation in his life right now (his wife's affair, and that Director position he aspires for), why still add this matter about JA to his many concerns? She already wants to leave, which i think is also for the best, but he seems stubborn to agree.
• Is he tied to that commitment JA's grandma requested on him.. to be by JA's side?
• Or is it just his nature to selflessly take care of people whom he thinks needs his help, it's like a role he always wanted to do
Hey DH, once you find out that JA has had connections with that sleazy JY, take it easy on her okey, remember it was you who told her to stay, take note of that.

The ENDING.
..is everyone's guess, but it will only be the writer who has control on it. Will it be a fair and logical ending? will it be reasonable? will it keep us hanging? or will it shock us?
Again and again there are Kdrama that left me stunned, like main characters that are good & just who have suffered so much with series of misfortunes in the entire course of the drama, suffer some more in the ending. some even die in the end, like why??? is there no deliverance, no second chances, no hope for happiness even for good people?
DH and JA are good people in my standards, and though they have to face and resolve the circumstances that they are in, it is only LOGICAL to give them a happy ending, even if not "together" i still hope it is still a happy ending and not a tragedy of some sort.
One thing for me is that i really don't think that DH and YH should stay together anymore. In real life, if you do a survey among married men, a majority for sure will find it difficult to live with a wife who had an affair. Now if DH is running for Sainthood and Martrydom then by all means stay in the rotten marriage.
Another probability is there will be a... time jump. This is a favorite in many Kdrama storylines, aside from ofcourse the open-ending route they take. which if not to leave the viewers hanging, it is for everyone's to think of a conclusion on their own.
I just hope PD-nim and Writer-nim can deal with this in a more "Millenial" kind of way, be brave enough to make a statement with a specific closure and resolution that is most fair for the ending of this drama.

It's been over a year that i have been inactive in soompi forums, partly because there was not a very interesting enough drama that could drag me out of slumber and chat/discuss/scrutinize about characters storylines.
And here came My Ahjussi. Hahha just like before got sucked into a vortex, a deep rabbit hole, and delulu (delusional) mode on.
LSK & IU, are just amazing, an unlikely pairing (not just because IU is much younger, but she is such a small little bean, when LSK is not even that tall hahha) but IU surprisingly was able to match his years of acting expertise. That confession scene of JA was really intense for both of them. These two has a very amazing chemistry and a very believable connection.
Oftentimes the journey (us discussing the drama and possible scenarios) is much more exciting and exhilirating than the destination (the end of the drama). were the culmination is often wanting.
I've been in forums of dramas like that. The last one was Scarlet Heart (also a drama of IU) which until now after over a year, a lot of us in that forum are still incredulous of the ending.

Back to DH and JA. every cell of my being is shouting for them to be together, they are for each other, if they get together... there'll be two less lonely people in the world...
If only PD-nim & Writer-nim could hear the clamor.
No romance, no skinship... but these two just in one frame looking at each other already give me all the feels, all that warm fuzzy feels, just wow.
Wishing for a kiss might be too much but an embrace, a tight hug will be very nice. In each others arms they belong, they are healed, they are home.

About DH hitting JA. i was also surprised, since it's DH himself who told JA not to be hit anymore (by anyone, and in particular that KI guy).
She provoking him, can't be an excuse right? Maybe DH who's been stressed out for days, and JA was shouting .. i don't know if there'll be excuses for that.. i just hope nobody hits JA ever again.
Will DH apologize next episode? maybe.

Maybe it cannot be compared, but......
• DH found out about his wife's affair with JY ...
He did not want to and will not CONFRONT her about it. He just wanted to ignore it? He did not want her to know that he knows. And just wanted to go on about their life as if he does not know.
• Then DH will find out about JA working with JY and the wiretapping...
Now will he get mad and explode and CONFRONT JA ?
He cannot even confront his own wife but he will confront JA?
