@-) oh no really?!? I should have checked more closely! Sorry about that; not much I can do now, but I guess I'll try to make the rest of it easier than planned! (A bit torn about that because a few people actually indicated to me that the second round was a little too easy!)
Anyway, some people who responded actually told me their thought processes and how they got to the end result. It was pretty interesting to read and hopefully it will enable me to give better clues in the future! -

Explanation: If you're like me and you know absolutely nothing about anime, then you could have googled "Kagome" to find out that she was a character in Inuyasha, then gone to our nice anime & manga forum to find the relevant thread. The post in question contained a kind of defense of Kagome.

Explanation: I was a little surprised that people found this one difficult! Our most popular threads on Soompi are the shipping threads in the Korean entertainment forum -- and right there in the title, people tend to give them cute food names such as "Honey" (Song Seung Heon and Kim Tae Hee) and "Burning Toast" (Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won). But probably our most popular thread, ever, has been that of the goguma/sweet potato couple, Seohyun and Yonghwa. So I thought if you knew those names or could just find the forum that contained them, then the next part of the clue, below, would lead you to the pinned thread, Korean underground. And then I admit that the part about "level" was kind of a throwaway -- really I just meant that you should go to the fourth page. Maybe it was a bit of a stretch! So now I know that the Korean entertainment shippers are not the people participating in this hunt!

Explanation: I thought this clue might lead people to the tech forum -- and then I hoped that they would realize that that would be too obvious. Anyway, it seems like a lot of people found the right thread fairly easily: our founder soomp's penchant for knitting and crochet led to the creation of these cute little yarn robots!
Anyway, on the whole, this round must have been easier than the last -- 21 people returned all three correct answers. I removed any staff members or people who won the past round (sorry)

Anyway, I thought this one should be pretty easy, but I guess not? I'll say this about the hint: I do think most of it is valid, and should lead you to the right place. But to be honest, the part about the "level" was just a throwaway word, not something to focus on. Basically, just ignore the word "level." For the next hints, I'll be a little more careful with the wording.

Congratulations to the six people who got all three correct answers! We had a couple more who were very, very close but instead found presents from last year's hunt. I'll do my best to remove those so there are no "fake" presents lying around. But should I miss one, double-check last year's thread, or even take a look at the size of the present. The ones from last year look similar, but they're a lot smaller than this year's.

The first two hints are not related to each other. Also, as with last year's hunt, often we don't dictate the page number and we may bury it within a thread (assuming the thread isn't hundreds of pages long).

Anyway, here are the steps to win our Soompi K-Pop Halloween contest:Choose a K-Pop or K-Drama look and replicate it from head to toe. Is it Girls' Generation's sailor suits from "Genie?" Big Bang's colorful hair and hip-hop gear? HOT's baggy pants from way back in the day? Or, how about going "Gangnam Style?" (If you want to do a group picture, feel free to enter with friends! But ultimately the gift certificate will only go to the account holder.)
Take an original picture of yourself in your outfit.
Post it in this thread! You must also state what your inspiration is and post a picture of the original look as well, so we can compare! If you like, you can even write a bit about how you went about recreating the look and why you chose it, but it will not factor into your entry.
On Halloween Day, our staff will choose three winners! Winners will be chosen based on accuracy, photo quality, and difficulty (for example, we may decide that Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" black suits aren't that difficult to replicate -- sorry sorry, guys).
The third place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Soompi Shop; the second place winner will receive a $50 gift certificate. Finally, our grand prize winner will take home the $100 gift certificate! All winners will also receive a specially printed award certificate which will be mailed to them! @knockblock, i don't remember what you posted either... i mean, i believe the atmosphere is always going to be a little different, so asking soompi to go back to how it was a few years ago probably won't happen. i think it's more about trying to make what we have today better. even if it's not the same, my belief is that the core of soompi has always remained the same, even today. but i do take your point that there are a lot of improvements that we could make.

okay, someone reported to me that today's hint is showing up as three little lines, which is weird because it's not meant to. so i changed it so that it should read as two underscores or lines. not three. sorry about that!
