arghhh I know this might be a bit sad to ask....and I'm not even too sure where to ask it....but how do I remove ability blocks in panels for KH 358/2 days?? And I'm already nearring Day 30.....What level should I even be O____O? I'm only level 3 now....I usually have quick grasps onto games but this time I'm actually kinda stuck O___O.

remove them from your panel? you just drag it to the other side, but if your backpack's full then you can't do much.

for those that like reading, there are homebrew softwares that allows you to read books :)

    I personally like this one:

dslibris - it has fonts for italics, saves the last screen, inverting colour (black screen, white text, which is a lot easier on the eyes), dimming, bookmarks (i haven't tried them yet). the annoying thing is, the text has to be in .xhtml files. you can use the touchscreen to change pages.

ds reader - well this link is a guide to installing and patching the software. it's easy to understand. the reader itself can read .txt files. it's really intuitive to use. I just can't get the bookmarks to work properly so i didn't like it. It didn't start on the last page i looked at either, but perhaps i didn't try too hard. it's simplier because it's not that difficult to make a txt file. I don't know if it was my font but there were boxes where apostrophes were supposed to be.

Yess, another northsiderr! xD Wow that's pretty far. Commuting must not be fun, especially with winter coming around, and even worse if you take public transit D:

And whaat, no school? Lucky! Sadly, I'm not doing so well with waking up early and getting back into school routine haha <_<.

lol I start work at 7AM though. since i work across town, I leave my house ~6:20AM. I either drive or get a ride to work (or else it'll take 1.5 hours on the bus) <_<

Edmonton has a really bad transit system because we don't have the population density to support a more rapid transit. I wish I could take the bus to work.

2 years. It still works great (i got it around the time quad processors just came out). I got it with the intent of using a lot of graphics for computer drafting - it it still got a decent graphics card.

lol the one at work is faster though (has double the ram and is using XP instead of vista)

  4.

Ah I still didn't get it yet, but I will soon X) is it worth the money?

Depends. I played it for a while. it's a lot easier since to get promoted you don't need to make friends. They seem to hold back on objects because they sell them for real money.

Here's a video review I found funny (warning ppl may find it offensive... er I won't suggest watching it if you really love the game):

  5. Currently playing Devil Survivor (by Atlus). It's a strategy RPG. The storyline is quite interesting. The premises is people are trapped in a district of Tokyo without electricity. There's more to it than meets the eye - demons are attacking people and to battle it, the main characters uses devices (which looks like a DS) to create contracts with demons and use them for battle.

The battling system isn't all that unique but I like "bidding" for demons and creating new ones. you can copy techniques to create whatever demons you want (I think you can even make a demon use an element that it's weak with). It's worth checking out. I like how fast the battles can be (well if you level up) with plenty times to save.

Unlike Knights in the Nightmare (a cool looking RPG also from Atlus) which takes me forever to finish a single play - heck 30-60mins into it and before I can get to a save point. Anyone playing that game? Does it get quicker? Or should I expect to play for a long time before I can save? It's very difficult (you have to dodge things, switch modes to use certain weapons). You have to be really engaged to play that one

  6. lols just a random comment but i'm living in that house too!

there are some things i like about sims 3 like giving yourself your own traits and stuff but i perfer sims 2 more mainly cause i think it's funner

the speeds are WAYYY to slow on sims 3 it drives me crazy!

    lol it's a cool house.

Ppl complain about the speed, but you can put it in window mode now (in options somewhere). I let it run in the background while watching shows/msn/surfing the web. I think there was a cheat for window for Sims 2 but I couldn't figure it out.

There really wasn't a lot of furniture/hair/clothes, especially for the boy sims ><

and it feels like EA's trying to monopolize the whole custom content thing because I heard that custom content was harder to make in the sims 3 than in the sims 2

Haha, my sim looked like that too after I made him explore the catacombs in the cemetery

He keeps running into zombie bears xD

I like the sims 3, and how the whole town ages. In the sims 2, one of my main families had great-great-grandchildren, and they were still only adults xD

but I kinda miss playing with prettier looking sims,

the only thing that I didn't really like was the one active family per town.

I miss making sim clans and making them rivals and whatnot xD

My sim turned like that after work one day

Ah.. no wonder it felt so empty :( boo. I hope someone's going to figure out how to make custom content...

  7. I dragged my butt to best buy and got myself Sims 3.

I LOVE making the sims (lol i only got that far so far). I can make asian looking sims now and putting highlights on sims hair..

It does load a lot faster than 2.

I wonder it's because there are no expansion packs or customizations installed though.

    edit:

    My sims was smoking. XD

It does feel a bit empty. Less objects to buy, I think even less than without any expansion packs in Sims 2. oh well. there's more variety.

It's weird that I can't go into any building except for the library. And is there just one town? (and the bonus town, which I'm too lazy to check out right now). What I like about it the most is that my computer doesn't feel like it's dying.

Oh the eyebrows do bother me. I can't make them any thinner. They look like caterpillars :P But the eys are so much better than Sims 2 (which felt so dead)

  8. Hey everyone!

I spent the last hour worrying about my computer's specs before I opened the game, and I found several things that may be useful to some people unsure of their computer's specs. I'm a noob and I just thought I'd share some things and tips that I learned in the last hour, in hopes that this helps some other computer noob.

I went to System Requirements Lab to see if The Sims 3 will work on it. Says it will for me, so hooray. Just a note that SRL may not be accurate and requires some add-on thing, which could potentially harm your computer. Okay, just a disclaimer so no one blames me if something goes wrong.

Also, if you're worried about your graphics card, check this Video card ranking list to see where yours ranks. I found this site while doing my research lol. To check what graphics card you have, go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Device Manager, and look for Display Adaptors.

As for Ram and processor, just right-click on My Computer and check the properties.

For the system requirements, just google.

Haven't run The Sims 3 yet but I hope that information helps!

Thanks for the site. Looks like my computer can handle it. I didn't want to waste money on the game, especially if I can't take it back. Interesting... that my computer passed because my computer felt like it was dying when playing Sims 2. That was strange since I have a decent graphics card, RAM and computer space. Must be all those stuff I downloaded.

  9. I got The Sims 3 yesterday, I'm severely disappointed with the game with just about every aspect. (I've been playing the Sims for 8 years TS1, TS2)

No way in heck am I paying for some stupid furniture. And ohmygosh, we have VERY limited clothing, hair and make up...not worth the money you pay for it AT ALL.

really? is it less than the Sims & sims 2 w/o any expansion pack? that sucks...

  10. Is it different from Sims 2? I was a sims fanatic when the first one came out. I kept uninstalling sims 2 so i never got around playing it much... from the website, it doesn't look that much different from the second sims.

  11. If you're an "animal crossing fan" you might want to check out "Magicians Quest Mysterious Times". Quite similar. I've only played it for a while, but it's fun. seems like there's more stuff to do than animal crossing (well i've only played the GC version). You do magic in this one.

I'm also currently playing "Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier". It's like an action anime. Robots, guns, bounty. Body part humor. I like the battling system.

  12. Just dropping by to say that Parfait Tic will be dramatized in Tawian, featuring Aaron Yan and Calvin Chen (both from the idol group Fahrenheit) as the lead males.

Arron yan and Calvin Chen breakthrough, idol drama with both as male lead

    source : Liberty Times

    translation by elvenstar87 @ http://asianfanatics.net

Wu Chun has switched to the big screen to develop, Jiro Wang's ratings are out of control, Fahrenheit's eldest brother and second brother have temporaily stopped filming idol dramas. Arron Yan, Calvin Chen breakthrough in the big upcoming drama [parfait tic] both as male leads. While the female lead in the drama has been changed from Selina to [Qiao Qiao] Joanne Tseng as a replacement

Adapted from a Japanese Manga [parfait tic], originally Selina, Mike He and Jiro Wang were selected, but once the male and female lead list came out, the Mike, Jiro and Selina grouping changed to Joanne , Calvin and Arron. Forming the new combination of the 2 males fighting for the girl. The producer ah Ken said :[ because the previous people selected had busy schedules, there was no way to cooperate, so we had to find other suitable people.], He is also unwilling to start the official shoot on the 20th until they have discussed it further

Although the production team are unwilling to clarify, the present 3 leads have already been confirmed. As the Manga is based on senior high school students, and dramas about the innocent love of high school students are not well recieved, and in addition the 3 lead, apart from the 20 yr old Joanne Tseng who is the closest in age of a senior high school student. Calvin Chen and Arron Yan playing university students would be more fitting, therefore the age of the main characters in the story has been raised therefore the criteria increased, especially within the drama, the role of the playboy who cannot love [DiaYa]. In his 1st role as a male lead, Calvin Chen has revealed on the official website his anticipation, hoping this time he can give a different performance.

I've read this manga a long ago and all I remember is that the girl can't make up her mind. Is this even done yet?
