heh.. i find myself going to aja these days just to see how long the leechers will stay stubborn and how long the aja people will hold out.
well i agree that it's their site and they can do whatever they want and i don't care if they shut it permanently or not but i really don't see the point in being erm.. hostile all the time. at first, it was amusing but as days go by, the hostility kinda gets old which is why i don't frequent aja as much as i used to in the past. i kinda feel bothered when i see people being treated that way even if it was their fault in the first place for not reading the FAQ before asking.
but.. there are plenty of places to go to get the stuff, like the aja ladies point out sometimes. aja isn't the only place. just spend some time googling. if u try AMA, u'll definitely feel the difference in environment. everyone's so friendly there. i definitely recommend it! although i am feeling very guilty towards Alcho at the moment >.<

TOTALLY! i originally watched 1N2D cos of Lee Seung Gi
but when i first saw Eun Ji Won, i thought hmm.. he's not bad too especially when he wears his specs heh.. i came to this thread today to suggest adding 1N2D in the next poll if there will be another one.. imagine my surprise when i saw Eun Ji Won's name in big bold letters! since Family Outing has a Fan Club, why not 1 Night 2 Days too since it's very popular. As a die-hard drama watcher, I never watch variety shows.. but my cousin told me to give it a try cos i was in a Lee Seung Gi phase after watching Shining Inheritance and now I can't stop watching 1N2D! i still have about 50 more eps til the most recent one though.. SEUNG GI YAAA!! IL BAK EE EEL!!!!!
PS: thanks for adding 8Eight to the FCs! I only just found out about them after hearing them perform in the Melon Awards and I've been playing all 3 of their albums on a loop lately. Great group!

can't believe i forgot to watch champagne tonight. was busy drama-marathoning with my sister >.< i didn't even know what date it is today. hope i won't forget the sbs awards like i did with champagne. i'm glad he chose Soo Ae.. i do like her lots. she is a wonderful actress.. and he did say she's his ideal (at least for the moment) it gives me hope cos i'm older than him LoL! but i personally thought it would've been better if lee min jung won instead
cos she's *ahem* my age *cough* and i've always liked her a lot in her dramas.. i would have a crush on her myself if i were a boy ;p -

newlili, registration as in the free online one or the official FC registration? if u meant free online one, make sure u're using Internet Explorer cos it won't work with Firefox (and others too i think) if u meant the official FC with the fees, it will only be announced tomorrow

Real birthdate August 4th. My own birth cert is like a month later from my actual birthday too. well it lists my birth date and the registration date. Who really registers a baby's birth on the actual day itself anyways? I remember one of my cousins being nameless for 3 months before her parents registered her. LoL!

it's itaewon. but the first character is always written as lee when it's a surname just the way Park is not spelt as Bak and Kim is not spelt as Gim since the korean government allows surnames to not be in RR spellings but names of places must be spelt in RR form so Itaewon isn't or shouldn't be Lee tae won cos it's the name of the area in seoul
i felt really bad for the family when i watched the movie. imagine how they felt watching this. they really should get Pearson back to Korea and put him behind bars. and i think the other guy should be prisoned as well for being an accessory to murder or something. he really annoyed me with all his cursing. not even cool when he said it cri~!

'cri' is short for 'critical'it is slang used exclusively on dcinside
it is supposed to be used to emphasise something which is not good
for example, i failed my exam cri
however, keun suk doesnt seemm to know the proper usage of this and attaches this to anything he wants to emphasise
eg "bye cri" and "Thank you cri" etc
he loves using 'cri' and used it at the japan fan meeting, on his interview on the kbs entertainment news
many ppl on dc have tried to write posts to show him the proper usage but either he didnt see or he doesnt really care
so the recent trend is taht ppl is just using 'cri' a bit lilke how he is - it's not the way it's supposed to be but the yb and geun gall are sort of following him lol
and a note about the korean fan meet
they intended to have a fanmeet for about 300-400 ppl at yonsae university
but now the confirmed numbers have exceeded 1900 ppl already so they are looking for another venue which will be confirmed sometime tomorrow

^ i'll choose air travel anyday ^^ 6 hours in a car is too much for me. 2.5 hours to miri is near my limits enough. that is one of the reasons i chose KK as my first choice. wouldn't say KK is crime-free now but less. my parents are always wary when they drive to Miri cos the criminals always targets Brunei cars. kuching has seasons for crime. my house was broken into last year but luckily none of us were home at the time. it seemed as if there were robberies happening every night for a while last year but thing's have been quiet lately. let's hope it stays that way. another thing i found very different between our countries is the road manners. we have this guy who drives us to the airport whenever we're going back via miri, as soon as he crosses the border, he honks any cars that annoy him. and guess what he answered? it's okay to honk cos we're already in malaysia >.< Do u go to JIS? that's where my sister goes to school. she went to PDS (i think? changed the name now i heard) for a few months in year 1 but she couldn't handle the singapore syllabus so my parents switched her to JIS. i would've stayed there. singapore syllabus is better than the british ones IMO. i'm sure u'll do fine in your exams. just remember, malay is easy ^^ good luck!

KL-ites, the words poyo and kerek, do they mean the same thing or are there subtle differences? i kinda understand when i hear them being used but nobody actually told me what it means precisely. i do get the gist though

^ i'm sure u do. everyone does, it's just that we don't realize it cos we're always around people who speak the same way. if u're from KL, u'll hv a certain way of speaking which people from other states detect right away. i don't think anybody speaks standard malay in real life unless for formal events, news and formal writings. and really? u think malay is difficult? i think malay (minus the slangs and dialects) is one of the easiest languages in the world. in fact i was having a similar conversation with my polish friend a few days ago about how malay is quite easy to learn cos everything's pronounced the way it is spelt.
Hi Chaegyeong haha thanks for clearing my misunderstanding (terimah kasih) my teachers always told me Bahasa Malaysia had alot of slangs and dialects in it plus its really spread out in different areas like you have said. I study Bahasa Melayu at school cause they told us its basically general and does not have much slangs or dialects in it so I was kinda nervous. Haha the thing about kids being called lai actually its Chinese and means come here XD Oh may I ask where you are living right now? Are you on Borneo or living in another part of Malaysia like near Kuala Lumpur?

Sorry for the delay in replying. to answer ur question, i'm currently in Kuching, Sarawak (Borneo ^^).. it's an okay place to live but pretty bleah~ not that i really mind cos i hardly go out.. i'm always in front of my tv and computer anyways.. but once i start working, i might get sent elsewhere. i asked for Kota Kinabalu as my first choice cos i'm thinking of relocating there permanently.. not too hectic unlike KL and have some pretty cool places to unwind.. Kuching is my second choice cos it's convenient if i don't have to pay for rent when i'm just starting out in the real world.. and Miri's my third choice.. sole reason cos it's near to my parents and they can drop by whenever my dad has to work in Kuala Belait. but wherever they may send me, i'll be staying over the Borneo side that's for sure.. not enough people in my field over this side so i don't see any reason for me to go to West Malaysia. gimme a call if u make ur way down here ^^ i'll bring u ard
Ah~ now i understand what u mean. actually we Malaysians think of Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Melayu as the same but separate from the dialects. so that's what ur teachers meant by Bahasa Melayu as opposed to Bahasa Malaysia. I guess it is understandable that Bruneians differentiate it since u're not Malaysians ^^ here, in schools we learn standard malay as well. except we call it Bahasa Malaysia. actually they changed it several times during my schoolyears.. first it was Bahasa Malaysia then it was Bahasa Melayu then it's back to Bahasa Malaysia again. it's all politics.

Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Melayu? i don't listen to the news unless if the tv happens to be on at 8pm ^^ i personally think of it as Bahasa Melayu cos hey malay is malay, no point confusing everyone into thinking it's a whole different language. it's just that nobody uses much standard malay in real life cos it sounds too formal. like i said before, i think i've only heard people speak standard malay in formal events, news and formal writings like the newspaper and official letters. oh when i say standard malay i mean melayu baku. melayu baku is no longer compulsory to be enforced since a few years ago political reasons again.. i think it's quite a shame to stop using melayu baku cos melayu baku adds formality and politeness to the language.. similar to having jondaemal and banmal in the korean language. are u still in school now? do u not learn malay anymore in high school? my mom said something about lessons being in malay for the first 3 years in bruneian schools then it's all english? but i might have misunderstood cos i wasn't really paying attention when she told me. my younger sister has horrible malay O_o cos she takes malay as a second language. she can't even speak sarawakian.. she can understand it cos we speak to her in sarawakian all the time but when she tries to speak it, she sounds like a foreigner.
what a shame!oh my mom was the one who told me about 'lai'.. as we were jogging at taman tasek ROFL! that was why i found it so funny! cos we knew what it meant in chinese and it made it seem as if the kids were obedient dogs or something! haha! and it was totally random.. my mom just said it out-of-the-blue

thanks for replying Yodya & chee13! i kinda figured that out after several episodes. now that i'm done watching, i have to say.. i quite like this show. there are some bits which needed better editing like adding music to the background so that it doesn't sound to empty.. there were some pretty sweet scenes and dialogue and there were some squeal/cringe/embarrassing scenes for me but i enjoyed them. best ep for me ep09 and ep14. MFL did manage to make me shed some tears from ep14 to ep16 so i like that. i have to admit it's kinda weird to have ur butler as ur boyfriend even though he's charming and kind. but he's still an ex-gigolo although he became one not because he wanted to. i don't think i'd want that for hae na in real life.. imagine if they were married and she has to pay for everything including his wages.. very odd. not to say that i'm a lee tae yoon-kang hae na shipper but lee tae yoon does sound like a better match for her. but, i'm happy that lee tae yoon ended up with yoo eui joo. they should have a good ending too. yoo eui joo is really pretty IMO. i dunno why but i keep looking at YSH's nose.. i kinda like it. it's sharp but not too straight, it has that bump so it looks real instead of plastic-perfect. and i like the way he fills out a suit.. not the butler uniforms though

i haven't been keeping up with this manhwa since vk stopped scanlating.. are they still scanlating or is it someone else now? gah! the licensed ones are so slow as well. only 6 so far. and i forgot where i stopped.. i need to rummage through my hdds now to find the latest chapters that i have.. gonna re-read the whole thing again.. download the chapters i don't have and read those!

about kimi wa petto, i'm not really keen about having JGS as momo. hmm.. seems like i'm the only person who hates the drama and manga.. the story actually made me irritated with matsujun (i like leader and nino best! kyaa!!) but then.. since JGS really wants that role then i'll support him.. maybe he'll make me like the story ^^

he actually goes to Hanyang University...my mom said it was at least in the top five ranked schools...Hanyang University, Joongang (Central) University (where shin hye goes) and i believe Gunkook(?) University are known as the big 3 when it comes to the performing arts major...all three have many alumni in showbiz...i thought it was funny that shin hye, kim so eun (gaeul from bof), kim bum, and go ara are the same year and have the same classeshaha! my thoughts exacly! i was like whoa! so many celebs in one class?!
ilwoo_aein, when i first read up on Jung Il Woo, i was pretty surprised to learn that he was born in the same year as JGS.. i'd always thought he was older. and i was even more surprised to hear that he's enrolled in Hanyang Uni as well..

i know this may have been discussed earlier but i only just started the drama.. i don't get it. if director kang is kang hae na's uncle (as in father's younger brother) shouldn't the heir be him instead of hae na? sure he's the bad guy here, always eyeing the fortune but that doesn't make him any worse than hae na who's only interested in spending the fortune. (no offence intended. i love YEH) i'm only at ep 08 rite now but for me, it's getting kinda interesting especially when everybody becomes aware of their feelings

LoL jul! not that great of a job prospect as an intended career but to be able to have frequent JGS sightings at your workplace is like a major bonus definitely! i probably can't do my job well if i work there. probably could only just stand there and stare at him like a fool or spill stuff constantly.. or worse, spill stuff on him! but that would get his attention eh?
if i attended classes at his uni, i'd be very diligent about not skipping school but i probably won't get much studying done either.. my head would constantly be swivelling around for a chance to see him..back to JGS's vacation.. how did people narrow it down to bali? he could be in jakarta for all we know..

WOOT!! which is why i feel like driving to the airport and jumping on the plane rite now ^^ he mentioned that he doesn't welcome stalkers so it'd be best for us all to limit our 'stalking' during official events only.. but yeah.. it is kinda hard to resist not to stalk him if we know he's in the area huh? ^^
on a side note, my cousin's currently studying with this Korean girl who used to work part-time at a café where JGS likes to frequent after his classes at uni. she said JGS is always very cheery and treats his fans who greets him very very nicely. aaawww!! but we all know he's a nice guy. and then she said, because he comes by so often, she doesn't blink an eye when she sees him anymore.. >.< when my cousin told me this i was like O_o gasp! sooo sooo lucky! i don't think i'd ever tire of seeing JGS. i'd count the minutes til he comes by again! LoL!

^ whoa?! indonesia?! but i thought he's going to india? where they use rupees? if it's true that he's currently in indonesia, part of me wanna hop on a flight to indonesia rite this second but another part of me is kinda reluctant cos he really needs a break from all the fans IMO.. as a fan, i love all the fancams but i kinda felt bad also cos his fans keep showing up at the shooting locations and trailing him even when he's eating! we should give him some peace.. for a while at least.

About name change and confusion is also understandable .
I know that in English : he prefers people and fans call him Jang Keun Suk , but you can see many of us even myself still call him Jang Geun Suk , and most of uploads on Utube still call him Jang Geun Suk
About the name issue.. so the Hanja of 석 in the first post is totally wrong then? i checked keunsuk.net but it's still listed as 張根奭. did he say so himself? that he prefers his name to be spelt with a 'K'? i know he spells it that way but i always use Jang Geun Suk myself or just JGS cos JKS sounds like.. something else.. when said quickly. if he did mention it, i'll change my ways so that he won't be upset the way he was over his chinese name previously. but i think i'll stick to JGS if i'm just using his initials.
grecychunny, no it was in seoul, last saturday. the news mentioned Filipino fans attending, one of whom turned out to be Pao! Pao, u don't happen to get a complimentary hug from JGS, did you? did u need tickets for the signing? will wait for your fan account too. hope u get those tickets to Melon!

My parents live in Brunei.. but i only go visit them there every couple of months.. i think it's cute that Bruneians call kids 'lai' Lol! well to tell u the truth, i can understand most of the Malay that Bruneians use so i don't think its that different from Malaysian Malay.. just the way we can understand Indonesian Malay. it's only when slangs and dialects are used that it becomes different. of course, there are some words which are totally different and we end up with a huh? moment for a minute or two.. I don't know why but I tend to speak in the general Peninsular Malaysia Malay when I speak in your country.. the ye, takde, mane ade way. i'm sarawakian so i'm afraid if Bruneians might not understand if i speak that.. maybe i should speak in Baku Malay like the Sabahans from now on.. Sarawakians tend to speak Baku Malay to West Malaysians too years ago but because of the integration thingy going on these days, we try to speak that er-er way to West Malaysians now. well.. i do since i went to college in the peninsula.. it's kind of a habit now

ha! i can finally watch his school project! cos for some reason, i couldn't before. from all the sites mentioned, i only recognized the cheonggyecheon stream, myeong dong, seoul plaza & the submerged bridge. the girl looks like hk actress charmaine sheh in the beginning. the poor guy.. i like the words at the end.. and the fast forward and the camera on the floor footages. and JGS's cameo
