Sad Tropics cast is confirmed. Seon Ho and Kang Tae Joo will lead the movie. Script reading on Dec 3rd, filming starts on Dec 10th and lasts until Feb 2022
Let's have hope in Director Park Hoon Jung, he can bring out the best in the actors and actresses. I read that Director Park had no intention to replace Seon Ho even when the issue broke out, he waited for Seon Ho to decide to stay on the movie, huge respect for you Director-nim!!!

I agree with you about SU storyline, it really bothers me how they spent the first 2 episodes telling viewers about the significance role of Ji Pyeong, then made him the most miserable second male lead. But I still managed to finish it because Seon Ho look strikingly handsome there! My next drama is 100 days my prince because I want to have a better look of Seon Ho in hanbok.

I absolutely adore the Nau couple, thanks @2d1n_fan for sharing the great news! I am extremely thankful to all the brands who still keep Seon Ho, will try to buy their products as much as I can.
A few happy notes to share: Seonhohadas all over the world keep sending flowers and gifts to Seon Ho’s agency almost everyday; Thai fans put up a digital billboard in the centre of Bangkok to support Seon Ho; 11 street records their highest sales after they took Seon Ho back; There is a fan account saying that she saw Seon Ho working out and eating well.
I am really busy with works these days but I check for Seon Ho updates whenever I can. I hope our beloved actor feels better these days, spends time to walk, reads the script and eats good food with his family and friends. I hope he finds reasons to smile everyday. I hope he is aware how much he is loved and supported by fans all over the world and that he totally deserves it-

I share the same thoughts with you guys, let Seon Ho stay away from the spotlight a bit longer and concentrate on his movie debut. For an introvert like Seon Ho, it must have taken a lot of courage to stay on Sad Trophics right after this issue. He is still fighting his own battle but acting will help him. While AAA is a public event, he is definitely not ready and comfortable to show up in suits and smile brightly for the cameras there. However, if Seon Ho wins, I hope he will deliver a short thank you message through a video, Seonhohadas all over the world diligently voted for him so it would be great if we could have a glimpse of him. Well, it is still ok if Seon Ho decides not to appear at all though, he can take all the time he wants.

I am not surprised if the ratings continue to drop, since Seon Ho is the most popular member, and even for show-only fans, the loss of 1 member affects the overall quality of the show, too. I read 1 comment in twitter, a 2D1N fan from US or Canada who did not know about Seon Ho's issue, was asking where the dimple smiley guy was, he seemed to be forced edited out. I love the other members, too but I am more of a Seon Ho fan, so honestly, there is no reason for me to watch 2D1N anymore while Seon Ho is not there.
I don't blame the members for not actively defending or mentioning Seon Ho though, they are just trying to do their jobs, they have families to feed, too. However, Ravi still wears Miima masks frequently, Din Din subtly played HomeCha OST yesterday, I have no doubt their brotherhood is real and they will continue to support each other.
Let's leave the issue behind, I agree with @confusedkfan that things have thankfully turned out better than we thought, even the most optimistic fan would not have thought that Seon Ho can keep most of his advertisements and 1 movie when the issue first broke out. Aren't we all so thankful to Director Park Hoon Jung who decided to keep Seon Ho in Sad Tropics? If not, I don't think we can see Seon Ho again so soon. I hope Seon Ho is healing well while diligently preparing for his role.

Sorry for my rant yesterday, I was so sad and frustrated thinking about 2D1N and Seon Ho. I was already prepared, but seeing the last crumbs of Seon Ho in the show broke my heart, he did not even get to have a proper closure after his contribution over the last 2 years. And it all happened because of that complete lie from a shameless exgf.

Sometimes I wonder does she even think at all? Where is her logical thinking? Is she even humane? How can a 37-year-old woman with a career herself capable of doing something so horrible? It would make more sense if he was at fault, but the only evil minded is her. I hope she gets mental treatment soon, too, people like her should not be let go around so freely by herself to destroy others' lives anymore. This will be the last time I mention this woman, Karma will find her soon.
My only wish now is for this wonderful man to stay healthy, strong and learn to love himself more, he deserves the best

@quietwaters I always try to calm down and look at the bright side but I am really sad, too.
The show which used to be Seon Ho’s happiest place, is no longer his anymore. I understand it was Seon Ho’s decision to withdraw from the show to protect everyone; I understand Seon Ho still needs time to heal, to avoid the spotlight for a while for the issue do die down before he can appear again; I understand Seon Ho doesn’t want unnescessary attention; I understand Seon Ho can not joke, laugh and be himself on TV again so soon… I understand all, but it still hurts like hell
How can they take away Seon Ho’s happiness so soon? The 6 brothers would have had a blast filming ep 100 together in Jeju island and we could still have our Seonshine dose every Sunday
Now I really need someone to blame, you guys know who?!?!?!?!?

Same here, I haven't watched those 2 eps that they cut Seon Ho's parts, I love the members and want to support them but 2D1N won't feel the same without Seon Ho, I just can't watch it.

In a survey voted by 200 entertainment officials, Home Cha was voted as the second best drama of 2021, while ShikHye couple was voted as the best couple. Such a huge and deserving recognition for Home Cha crew!!!
It was unfortunate that we couldn't get to celebrate Home Cha success because of Seon Ho's issue, but I am so glad that a lot of Home Cha staff and co-stars still stood up and gave great testimonies about Seon Ho's personality, which contributed a lot to change the whole Knets' perspectives on the issue. They are indeed Gongjin family to Seon Ho
Although I do not understand Korean, I decided to buy Home Cha script book from 11 street (the online shopping platform that Seon Ho currently endorses). I hope they will change their mind and release Home Cha photobook in the future, too.
Did you guys read the super sweet letters from Dushik to Hye Jin and Hye Jin to Dushik in the script book? I wonder whether they were written by writer-nim or by Seon Ho and Min Ah themselves?

If you can tell from the start that this issue would not really harm his acting career then I have to say you are probably the most optimistic fan. Even until now, I still feel nervous when an article about Seon Ho comes up.

@chickfactor I also find it questionable that Salt does not seem to do anything regarding Seon Ho's issue. I was thinking whether it is because Seon Ho himself does not want to address it any further and he asked Salt not to address anything related to it. However, since most of the advertisers are coming back to Seon Ho, I think Salt does help him in dealing with them, especially those paper works and legal works.
@marrez1 Excuse me? Did you even spend time to read and understand the 2 Dispatch articles before posting? Seon Ho is nowhere near a completely crazy and messed up person that you are referring to. Dispatch got those messages from that woman's friends, who found it unfair that Seon Ho had to take all the blame while the woman is a shameless liar.
If you do not like Seon Ho, there is no reason to be here. Please be mindful of what you say, this is Seon Ho's thread and we are here because we would like to support him, he has suffered enough from this issue already and just started to get his life back. Please be considerate and be kind.
I feel so sorry for Seon Ho reading his written messages in the script book, he has just gotten his life back in May when he started filming HomeCha. No wonder he looked really happy and relaxed at the filming site despite all the hardships. Then out of nowhere, that outrageous and destructive post appeared and took away almost everything and left him in despair

So glad that he's coming back sooner than I'd thought. I'm going to support his comeback movie with all my might. The movie really needs to do well. No matter how much his fans support him, he needs public support to survive in the industry for a long time. His next project is going to determine many things.

I agree the movie really needs to do well, Seon Ho will definitely try his best and I have no doubt that he will nail it. I am also glad that he returns with a movie, so his strong international fanbase will have more chances to support him.
I read yesterday that Seon Ho gifted all HomeCha crew a sweatshirt after filming ended, Bora's mom uploaded pictures of her wearing it. He is such a sweetheart!
While we might think it's a bit early for Seon Ho to return with a movie, I think at the moment, acting is the best way to help Seon Ho to get up and overcome this trauma. And the movie won't be release soon, either, still have time for the scandal to fade away before everyone can embrace actor Seon Ho again.
Amidst this mess, I am still thankful that Seon Ho was strong and thoughtful enough to walk out of the toxic relationship that he knew it was not gonna work for him, then he held himself up to accept the movie offer and continue to pursue his acting career. Seon Ho fighting!!!

No, chingu, I don't think he will be back. He loves the show and his brothers, but his packed schedule will take a toll on him. It was unfortunately the worst way to say goodbye to 2D1N but Seon Ho will have to leave anyway. Before the scandal broke out, I was wondering how he can manage his 2D1N schedule while having to film 3 movies in 2022. Don't get me wrong, I love and am always thankful to 2D1N because we got to see the real Seon Ho, but going forward, he should concentrate on his acting career.

@Love kdrama PR from what I understand, fan cafe is where all the official fan club members in SK are.
@Ohsh I have never visited a fan cafe, either. I think Seon Ho was given an account for himself, members there can see the number of times he has visited his fan cafe. Before today it was 2143, today it changed to 2144 so the members knew that he visited.

No, don’t worry, I don’t think Seon Ho will quit acting. Not only because of his love and passion for acting, but also after this incident, when he realizes how much he is loved and supported by his friends, colleagues and his fans, who stand by him and trust him, he will repay everyone’s kindness. And of course best way to do so is that he will become an even better actor and deliver good projects. Seon Ho might not be the strongest person but he is very determined, he will continue to work hard and show people what he is capable of.
As much as I want to see him, I still hope he takes all the time that he needs to rest and heal himself, then come back when he is ready to face the world again.

@haifa234 @popdedi I bought from 11 street global and they shipped to my country, but the shipping fee is really expensive, it costed me more than the Script books
However, I could only find HomeCha goodies and Miima masks, I couldn't find Nau, there were only 2 down jackets from Edition which I can not use. Does anyone know how to search for Edition t-shirt or sweatshirt in 11 street?
I caught up on Seon Ho dramas recently and my favourite besides HomeCha are Two cops and Catch the ghost. CTG is really underrated. You drive me crazy is too short but I love the chemistry between Seon Ho and the FML.
