@mblgoh- i’m waiting on Ruyi pavillion because there’s supposedly a lot of heartache this week...haha. i was struggling a little with their dubbed voices in some of the trailers.

@lovehucheyea, i get it- it’s a much different pacing and storyline and if you aren’t into the actors, you just aren’t. i wasn’t that into Love Is Sweet and that was a super popular modern drama.

@lovehuche- i really enjoyed General’s Lady. Female lead has her annoying moments but the general male lead has an unwavering love. The story is simple, happy, and light. It’s definitely not as popular as sleepless princess but i actually liked the drama more because there was less heartache.

I have yet to watch the last 2 episodes yet, but saw some clips in YT. Oh, YL is preggy, wow !!!!
So, there is a time jump of 1 year before they become real husband and wife. Hope the grandpa is ok till that time, they become a real couple.
I was bummed it was YL that got the pregnant storyline and not YS. happy ending for all!

It looks like the hashtag for this drama has surpassed 7.8亿 on weibo which is a lot right? And it’s a “hot” drama on mango. so sad more people can’t enjoy it

I understand conversational chinese so i’ve been watching it raw and it’s so cute! however, i don’t understand why MangoTv Has such a hard time with subs. there are so many bilingual people out there...they would have so many more viewers if they had subs!!

@liesylew I agree that open ended is the worst...but in this case, this didn’t even make any sense! There is no rhyme or reason to this current open ended ending. Glad we get an epilogue.

@BreezeC that’s quite the summary of mangotv. i had heard on the youtube channel, avenueX, that a lot of these streaming platforms are bleeding money...not sure why they can’t have a profitable business model.

@lovehuche I would totally watch any drama with these two leads whether it’s historical, wuxia, or modern. ZYC wasn’t as popular in Killing of 3000 Crows cuz his character was “greasy”, but I really enjoyed his acting in both dramas.

I think it’s interesting how streaming sites lure viewers along. for how popular Sleepless Princess is, not many people seem to call for a sequel. Another drama on mangotv that was popular was Romance of Hua Rong and supposedly there’s going to be a sequel.
I can’t wait for epilogue to answer questions- but it’s going to be weird if “it was all a dream” or just a story...
either way, i still highly enjoyed this drama!

I am in a weird mood right now - I am excited about the ending but then I don't really want it to end... It had been a very fun drama watching experience and I am going to feel lost after this lol
@BreezeC- i always feel this way about dramas i enjoy! you get so invested in the characters and then when it ends, it’s very bittersweet. I feel that way about books too. I’ve been looking for my next drama and haven’t found anything remotely as goo.

I just rewatched the MV on one of the earlier pages and at least the scene where they say “sign and sealed” is coming up. So sweet moments ahead next week!!

Ooh man.. the ending ep. 28 is really sad, and its going to get even heartbreaking in ep. 29 when XY throws the letter to CY (thats a precious love confession letter from your dear brother that CY never gets to read, you fool!). And ep. 29 or 30 is where we have to see the wedding of XY and NX (oh, XY your going to cry a river for hurting CY)
Will XC take CY away like he said? I kindda hope for that, so XY could go crazy for longing for her.
Btw, I cant help but to feel so sad for XM and his love. Why must he keep it a secret? Can't he approach her? Can't he ask for CY hand in marriage to the emperor? He was a war hero, right? and just like XY marrying CY, it will subdued his military power, is it not? Gosh, look at me trying to ship XM with CY! Lol
I kindda wish thursday will come sooner, but in the other hand, I cant bear to see the heartbreak in ep. 29..
Hopefully the heartbreak in 29 is quickly resolved. there are still happy scenes from the MV that haven’t shown yet so we know there are happy scenes in the 7 episodes left to air!

i agree that thursday feels forever away!! they don’t even have the previews posted for 29-30! and yes, it would be fun to see a livestream of an interview with the leads.

i love how he pushes the other princess out of his arms after “catching” her from the spray. Only 11 episodes left to go, i need more happy moments. And I agree, the brother storyline is starting to drag. And how does that bell belong to the other princess...another good trailer!

I am really surprised at the brother storyline...and now that Zheng YeCheng is listed as both roles for XM and XY. And...at the beginning, he’s addressed as Mr Guan Shan by the kids who want a story. Any speculations here?

@enzekI think another collaboration would be great between the two leads. I think Sleepless Princess story is over so another drama is good.
Production team for Blooms at Ruyi Pavillion did this for ZZH and JJY and it’s so great to see the pairing again. i liked Legend of Yunxi story better but seeing that same pairing and reunion is nice.
