I thought I would share some pictures and her thoughts that I found interesting from Gigabellies on Twitter. I would love to have her participate on our site. Great insight by this woman.

My comment:Huckleberry clip of SSH and SJH interview is a riot. If you watch over a few times it gets to be so funny. I lost count of how many touches occur between them. That double elbow touch was interesting. I notice also the Girl touches her hair a lot which shows she is attracted to SSH. Him touching the top of the lap was shocking to me but not to her. Wow could his be Boy friend privileges? She didn’t even flinch.-

Thanks Huckleberrymoon. Interesting is that his only real wide smile showing his teeth is when she took his arm. Dude was in heaven at that point. You could definitely tell he was not comfortable here especially before she took the stage. I think he might have been surprised at her height because he did not have to look down. I am sure her fashionable clothing style caught him a bit off guard also. I also noted his thinking of looking as a senior to her and would need to help her throughout. What a surprise he is in for.

Welcome Lu.Hus what a wonderful first post. So happy you have joined our discussions. Seeing, thinking, feeling, sharing thoughts, is invaluable to this ship. That’s how we started. Your English is really good so don’t be embarrassed because the meaning was so understandable. Like I mentioned earlier we will figure it out and in your case it’s clearly understandable and no figuring out needed. Example, I don’t speak Korean and I imagine there are many that do not on this board. I live by the subtitles and their expressions of these two. Being Global brings various perspectives and experiences which is truly valuable.
We do not have a “In Grocery We Believe moment” yet we have big crumbs. I believe we will be getting a I do moment around the twelve month mark. The real estate theory about buying a property makes a lot of sense on Jeju island by SSH. The question for SSH is do you buy now where privacy is imperative to SJH and the property would probably be more secluded or do you wait until the engagement announcement is made then you can purchase a property that’s more desirable with beach front view and more populated with less privacy?
Just noted we are number four on the hot topic on Smoopi.

I am really happy that both CuZ and 463Ganda have participated in this forum. Welcome to our party ship. What makes this group special is the diversity that we bring to the table and the insight from both a male and female perspective. It’s great to get both sides. I agree with your husband the guys perspective, you can just see it they are involved with each other. It seems that in Korea a guy has to fight for his love of the woman. Fight is more about showing passion and sincerity. I can’t recall any couple acting this way in their BTS as much these two did. My wish is that DM ends up on Netflix and our couple ends up being the power couple they deserve. Especially SJH that has been under recognized for 15 years of great acting. This will be a bit of a journey although I truly believe we are heading in the right direction. Appreciation to all and please do not be shy we’re all friends here. I know there are silent lurkers here so please feel free to introduce yourselves. Do not be shy or think that your English is not strong enough. Languages are just a communication tool, we’ll figure it out. Please share, I/We value your feelings and insights.

Going back through the pages an area we have not touched much upon is SJH sister Seo ji-Eun.
I was trying to get some information on her and there is not much listed about her and I hope that Fiona might be able to share some insight on her and the relationship between them.
For some reason I thought she was in Australia and if that is the case I would venture to guess this will be a future trip. I would not be surprised if this trip has already taken place. Limited COVID concerns, although 14 day quarantine is a bit of an issue if alone, although I don’t think SSH would mine being holed up for 14 days and having SJH exclusive attention. Our couple was silent here for well over two months.
The hot air balloon was an interesting comment by Yappy. The other comment about marriage from the interview Fiona provided was even more interesting. My take is SSH has not asked or that SJH has not accepted (still new less than a year) but this could change very soon at the one year mark. Her previous answers have been I am not in a relationship and don’t have a boyfriend. Something major has changed in her answer, simple but massive.

Your posts are some of the most informative writings in Soompi DM category. I mentioned this after going through 68 pages before even posting on DM. Your post today is one of the top five. Your examples and description help us readers continue to support the ship. I thank you for your articles. For a forum of folks from various parts of the world it is amazing how the group here continues to shed thoughtful and provocative thoughts on points being shared. There is no way that one or both do not read this site as to gauge their fans interest. I am so excited to see the ship moving to a 100 pages within the next week or so. When we get to 100 pages we should celebrate as individuals in a group that has a common desire to see our couple move towards happily ever after.

Huckleberry thank you for providing the clips of the kissing scene. I have to say that I found the last 9 pictures to be the most impactful especially after SJH opened her eyes. If you enlarge the photos and go very slow focus on the display of emotions of SJH. SSH is like this was fun while SJH was more bewildered.
That breakfast at Tiffany’s Picture was one of my favorite looks for SJH. Just stunning absolutely gorgeous. Too bad they did not play this scene towards the end with SSH. It could of been so impactful. Instead it is the first episode without SHH.
What I found to be really interesting was the amount of dialogue and say the actors had with the scene development in DM. It was like a partnership between the director and the actors with all voices appreciated.
Lastly, I wonder what SJH is thinking in that my individual Smoopi is what 27 pages in 15 years and the DM Smoopi is 90 pages in 7 months. This has got to be telling her how special these two are in both friendship, development, accomplishment and their fans love of the two together.

So here we are wondering why she is not being photographed. If you look at the volunteer look (thank you Fiona), she has downgraded her self to so minimally especially with the glasses, hair up, cap and clothing to be just a ordinary girl. Yes she is still pretty but ordinary in how she is dressing without make-up. What a good soul she is and I appreciate her more each day. I would take the un-makeup girl every day of the week and I have got to think so would SSH.
In ILA all you have to do is look at the beer purchasing scene and even in DM when she is in the shopping store in the purple jacket mask sweat suit meeting up with the CEO, I have to say the girl can be stealth. Best chance to get a picture is on vacation in a foreign land.
Now on to another one of my US favorite couples and more on natural beauty. Reminds me of what Blake Shelton says about Gwen, yes I love when she is all dolled up, but I love when Gwen is just natural. Yup agree. You see similarities with SJH as a minimalist.

Welcome CuZ and Shay.
CuZ thanks for sharing the lighting strikes interview. It practically spells out the thought process for SSH. As we have been saying he looks really happy these days. Big smiles and a glow to match. SJH is the harder to read and the more reserved person. There is so much touchy feely with these two especially SJH. The BTS between the two is off the charts and they are giddy when around each other. SJH was a fan of SSH before the series and SSH kept being surprised by SJH in a good way. Even after the series ended there was massive sparks between the two. Example delivery system (Japan Interview). It is so apparent that SSH lives to see SJH smile and blush. This is so real, just like in CLOY were the detective says “it’s as clear as day”.
Shay, my hope is that between Fiona, Siomara and or HrkHarris that either they or one of the many folks on here we will be able to provide the video in English subs that you have asked for.

Both of you are just killing it and I am so grateful that you are on the ship. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Her swing tells me she has a bit of a high handicap but is very capable of getting out on the course and having a good time. So yes she can spend time on a course and not embarrass herself. Her balance on the swing is good and she is steady throughout. She seems to be demonstrating strong arming her swing which could lead to hooks. This is better then a slice. Would like her to end up a bit higher on the end of the swing. Bottom line no one will beat her appearance on the course. Think of the DM episode were SSH throws away the biscuit in the restaurant. In other words who cares about golf at this point when I am with this beautiful woman. Agree, room 501 seems to be the logical choice. The other hotel looks like a dive. Can you imagine the silent lurker SJH thoughts right now!
SSH is probably saying I can’t believe this also. Although in the back of his mind he is probably smiling and saying we might have to admit to the relationship if this continues. Okay I am good with that.

Very interesting SSH gives us a posting on IG almost as timely as SJH is confirmed on a new show. So excited for her. They must have just gotten back.
SSH looks like a whipped teenager in love. Dude is so happy he is beaming from ear to ear. You know that they spent quality time with that awesome delivery system that he mentioned.
I am sure that this is not the golf attire that SJH wears at any course or we would have well over a 100 of pictures of her playing. That's the fun part of putt/putt golfing which could easily be date night. SJH looked extremely playful plus very comfortable playing. My biggest take was her putt was on line although a tad short. She looked comfortable with her putting grip and stroke. That sticking the dude with the putter gripe in either his backside or rear was too funny and it definitely showed her fun side. The dude on the other hand looked pretty bothered. Something about a woman playing golf in high heals with that long flowing hair was just not right. Who could pay attention? If she plays with SSH on the golf course it must be so funny with the banter they would have on a round.
This tread continues to move along and to think this is just the beginning. Talk about smiling from ear to ear.

What's interesting is the golf movie she considered was 10 years ago. The picture with her golf shoes was five years ago. My read is she wanted to learn how to play or has been playing.
Now my spill about an exclusive golf club. Think of pro golfer Phil Michelson who is a member of the Santa Fe Country club in San Diego, CA. I have never seen a picture of him at this club in well over 20 years. Why? Because it is in the privacy clause. If you breach it you are suspended and your signing fees go out the window. Depending on the club it could easily be 100k to 250k in initiation fees if not more. In Korea it could be higher. If a members losses their privileges many of the other members will never deal with you again. A lot of business is done on a golf course So we are no longer talking about initiation fees. Now to add context, I am thinking about another couple (BinJin) how many pictures do you have of them at a golf course? One! Why only one? Because the person could have been thrown out of the club if a member files a complaint. So with that couple there is a signed autograph at a Korea course (Bin) and a signed ball in Jordan (Bin) and a video or two of only that person Teeing off(Bin). With SSH you have a couple of clips of him playing with male friends and it is probably their own clips. There was not going to be a complaint with this group since there was nothing to hide Throw in a woman especially who you are keeping quiet about and now your going to have a problem with that member. The private clubs do not screw around. Many initiation fees can be sold just like a home or property. Our best chance to see them might be at a vacation course that is public. Many private courses have reciprocal play with other Private courses in many Countries. Their privacy laws apply if you play there. My feeling is our couple does not golf as much as BinJin couple, although I have a feeling that SSH is a member of a Club and they frequent that private eating establishment more often then they play golf.

I just notice this picture from SJH 5 years ago and found it interesting for a couple of reasons. First it shows her golfing at a golfing range. Second it shows her in her personalized golf shoes, third it shows her with graphite shaft golf club instead of steel shaft which is usually more expensive thus indicating she plays or has played and fourth club face shows wear marks for usage patterns. Lastly looks like she is a bit inexperienced (probably higher handicap) since most golfers try to line up signature to target desired flight pattern. I was previously looking for a connection to SSH golfing and noted the previous golf movie she was considering. This tells me that a private club is in play were confidentiality is a must. Remember membership means exclusivity. This includes dinning, spas, etc. Would not surprise me if they have played a round with BinJin.

I wish that SJH would leave a crumb for us. I would take a picture of two red wine glasses on a table. Nothing else needed we would understand this perfectly.
We know SJH or someone in her agency is a silent lurker. DM is almost at 85 pages here in 7 months. Just don’t see it happening with SJH unless it is a gift sent to her agency that displays for both which we saw with fans of CLOY sending gifts/flowers to both etc. We probably have a better chance of getting a crumb with SSH. It has been really quiet for a while.
My thoughts on SSH. Whoever ends up his wife, will be attractive. The difference is not that the person is attractive which is a given, but this individual will have a strong personality, is disciplined, intelligent, understands the profession, is stylist, is gracious, fun personality, is grounded, a good person that values family and most importantly will hold SSH accountable. This makes SJH such an attractive option and SSH knows it. Saying she has big eyes is really saying she has beautiful eyes. If I look at a woman for well over four seconds before I say a thing, it means in guy slang that those big eyes are stunning and this person is a goddess.
Fiona we need to keep the posting G rated. Please no more swim suit pictures. That picture is just too much for us guys. Can’t take it she is just gorgeous. No wonder SJH likes going to a beach environment this will slay poor SSH further. Wonder were SJH and SSH are spending their vacation time?
Tropical setting? Dude doesn’t stand a chance.

What’s great is DM was number 1 on Rom-com and number 8 for all shows for all 3 polls. No awards but great screw off message to send MBC about their awards and how they poorly treated and mis-advertised DM. Congrats to SSH/SJH and the entire group with DM and to SHJ & the CLOY group. We received 28 votes in just over 24 hours and CLOY received just over 40 in the same period of time. Both shows were behind up to that point.

Fiona thanks for providing the pic of SSH wearing the same sweater previously. I had not seen this before. No way I think it was random. As a guy this is a huge compliment for your co-star to show her support and the fun side of her personality. SSH was probably saying this girl is so surprising to me. When did SSH sweater picture?
Sorry I need the women’s opinion on this, in episode 3 she is chasing the Dr to Moon River restaurant and is taken to were he is. She notices No Eul and says she is pretty then tosses her hair towards her when she walks by. Why? Still trying to understand this, almost as saying I was disrespected. Interested on getting your thoughts on this.
Another point is SJH character goes to Moon River restaurant, why did she not notice the Dr’s car? How many brown Lincoln are in Korea? Since she saw him by the car the previous night when they had the first meal in Seoul. Really she didn’t notice the vehicle? Sorry, forgot that this is just a drama.
I didn’t get why Nora and the Dr assistance did not get together or at least not consider options. I know Nora mentioned she wish he would stay. This was a missed opportunity. They were both looking for a partner and I think they would have been an interesting option. I think it could of been fun since they both liked the main actors. Could of been an interesting option for the series. This would have been a better direction since the secondary actors hurt the show in episode 12 to 14. I liked both Nora and the assistance. Love both SSH and SJH in the series. Episode 12 thru 14 lost some viewers.
Totally lost but i don’t get it, why does SJH only have 26 pages on Soompi personal site since 2006? This is just wrong and ridiculous. She is gorgeous and good at what she does. Stupid just stupid.

Thanks Fiona628, for sharing SJH’s Life Bar Guesting video. Helps explain how SSH got overwhelm by SJH and why his playfulness was able to crack a hole in her shield. SJH gray shirt with the red heart, conservative makeup at the readings was an intriguing look that SJH pulled off to perfection. SSH was probably thinking really a heart and those eyes for someone I thought might be a bit cold. Suddenly he came away surprised, intrigued and in someways in awe of the actress that at first probably thinking would not have been my pick for the part. This was conveyed initially with the director where the director reassured SSH.
With COVID 19, I could see where SJH could of suddenly had more interest in cooking but this would probably be in the March to May window. So why are we talking more towards 4th quarter unless suddenly it became a personal priority. What suddenly changed? Why suddenly ILA? Hmmmm. Interesting with the meal choices and what type of wine pairs well with those two dishes. Spicy pork goes well with a savory pinot noir (red) as well as a chardonnay (white) although I would go with a meritage wine (red blend) or Chianti (red). SSH looks very comfortable with a glass of red wine especially with ties to the former Italian restaurant.
The SSH delivery system comment was so strange that I was wondering is this a Korean term but with SJH laugh it gave it away (big crumb). There is a lot of comfort between the two because of the Japanese fan meet with both of them. This was a huge benefit for SJH because of SSH popularity there.

Was looking for a possible Golf angle. Interesting link although from 2010.
Seo Ji-hye drops golf drama by javabean
Just a few days after the main cast was announced, lead actress Seo Ji-hye has dropped out of the golfing drama Birdie Buddy [버디버디] (which I had mistaken for Buddy Buddy; the series is based on the manhwa Buddy).
According to production company Group Eight, Seo had agreed to play the role of talented golfer Min Hae-ryung and they proceeded to the final negotiation stages, but differences arose on both sides and she decided against the role after all. After the rest of the cast — led by Lee Yong-woo, UEE — participate in the drama’s production press conference on the 10th, the production will begin looking for a replacement.
So based on this article there is a possibility that she may play or at least she was opened to it when she initially accepted the role and then dropped it.
Next was looking at a couple of golf courses that might fit the privacy angle or at least the really nice course angle and these were of interest from Planet Golf article.
Wellington Country Club is a super private golf club outside Seoul, which opened in 2013 and was apparently designed by a local Korean company.
This course fits the privacy button perfectly.
Home to three unique nine-hole courses, the Whistling Rock Golf Club in South Korea is an architectural masterpiece, in the most unexpected of ways. The club's three nines, Cocoon, Cloud and Temple. Manny believe this is the top course in Korea and was listed in a Forbes article. Future sightings of BinJin will happen at this location now that they are out in the open. Bin plays some of the best courses in the world and this course fits his profile.
Excess in the golf industry is rife across Korea, particularly modern developments closer to Seoul. Founded in 2010, the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea has, in some ways, become a poster. This course looks similar in sand bunker designs as SSH was playing in the YT video.
The Trinity Club, developed and operated by Shinsegae E&C, continues to be known as the leading private golf club in Korea in terms of its facilities, membership, and operations. The links themselves, as well as the club house, were both designed by world-class experts, resulting in the building of a facility that is in total harmony with its natural surroundings. Fits the privacy button with superb facilities.
Developed by the same team that built the World Top 100 rated Nine Bridges course on Jeju Island, Haesley Nine Bridges is another opulent, exclusive offering in hilly ground an hour or so outside of Seoul. Like the sister Jeju Island course, the clubhouse at Haesley is a conceptual masterpiece and accompanied by a David Dale GolfPlan design. Dale had a difficult site in terms of rock and undulation here, but unlike Whistling Rock or other private clubs in central Korea, there was space to create some really attractive and believable golf corridors. A number of holes frustrate for the angle of drives and bunkers, but there are some really attractive areas, and a number of fine individual holes. Benefit here is with the sister course you could play both in Seoul and at Jeju Island.

Was looking at you tube on SSH and noted he plays golf. Handicap is between 14 to 18 based on what I have seen in videos. Seems to have a good short game were this is were you want to be. You can tell he has taken lessens. Biggest opportunity appears to be with driving consistency.
One of the videos is in Japan and another is a really nice course not sure were but probably SK. Probably top 20 in SK. Good starting point.
My take on this is he plays maybe four or fives times a month and is a member of a private club. He absolutely won’t talk about this because private club is all about privacy.

I wanted to share a guys perspective at this time. I love to make a woman that I like laugh. It is one of the best feelings when you like a woman and the laughter continues between the two. This is a huge turn on for me. I cannot recall ever seeing SJH ever covering her mouth/face this much because she is laughing so hard. I live for the times when I have the ability to have a girl of interest smile and laugh which what we are seeing between the two. And when you get a woman here you don’t let up because it is too adorable, romantic and passionate.
From a woman perspective I would like to hear your thoughts about how attracted you are to a guy that makes you laugh and you are able to have a bright and cheerful conversation.
I will refer to the folks that have followed both SSH & SJH for years to share their thoughts on the actions between the two and if this is common behavior for both actors in the past with fellow actors actresses.
