Just a thought... 

 

Why would sechan give pink background t shirt of Jong kook to Somin after making ten copies of it? There are many others to give it out. Maybe he gave one to Jihyo or anyone but no one responded.

Why would they not say anything when they want to support Chan-min loveline? 

Why would sechan give it to Somin if he is interested in her?

Why does Somin have to let us know that she got one even though she is giving it away? 

I mean does she want to show how close she is to Jong kook too? I mean, the t-shirt is still there or sechan has extra shirt.

 

Variety shows are quite tricky that you dont have to literally follow their words but to read between the lines. I do feel that Somin wanted to connect with Jong kook, not just Sechan and Kwangsoo. She is finding ways to connect with Jong Kook without creating loveline (positive- she got the shirt from sechan. Negative- she is throwing or giving away). Her reasoning is so funny. She has a great sense of humour to get rid of it that she felt like she is with Jong kook every time she wore the shirt. She needs doesn't need a shirt to feel his presence. She is asking that you've got to be human to come to hang out with me! She didn't say it but you can tell that she wishes for that. 

 

And I think Jong kook knows about it. Fortune teller said Jong Kook's lucky colour is pink and red. The T-shirt has pink background. I think it may be inside joke Jong Kook and Somin were laughing about. I forgot the timeline of the fortune telling episode. All I know Kook-min sang Confession song. That was also when Sechan wore that shirt. 

 

The whole Kook-min-Chan is quite weird that Sechan is always running away or pushing somin and Jong kook together. Sechan in the beginning always supported Kook-min subtly. I think he's co-captin of kook-min ship. He is more obvious that way.

Here is my thoughts after reading all the posts: 

 

HaHa- SA shipper, Chan-min shipper, just Jong Kook number one fan

Here is a thought about HaHa, he tends to overdramatises every single and small things that could be true or not. He doesn't really do that in public if he knows it would happen. It is his job to bring hype and dynamic for himself and Jong Kook to gain more persona. It gets people interested and they would get offers. In some ways, it could give Jong kook a push. HaHa's pattern is interesting. He shipped every women to join Jong kook's loveline. But Somin is an exception for most of the time. The only time HaHa put Kook-min together was asking Somin if she likes Jong Kook. That time, HaHa was doing two things in my opinion: he is trying to help somin to shake her awkwardness to dance with Jong Kook that she should be too shy if she has feelings for him. It helps a lot. I think HaHa is doing it because he knew Somin well that she likes Jong Kook or sees him as a man. HaHa gave Somin a cue that she can go through the dance without feeling shy or being professional. He did Somin a lot of favour. I do know that HaHa is very private person and wouldnt reveal too many things that is too private for Jong Kook. Putting Somin as exception is probably another telling point that there may something more in private life. His mannerism shows me that he took it seriously. He didn't want to make a joke out of it for a reason that he wanted to protect their bond privately to let them develop on and off screen. It allows Kook-min to interact more naturally if HaHa didn't push them, and distract us with Chan-min. I still think HaHa is Spartace Fan, but Jong kook and Jihyo individually comes first to him more than shipping them together. He is doing his job. He wasn't consistent Spartace promoter. He goes one to another. He is sort of doing randomly. HaHa knows Jong Kook is already becoming transparent with SOmin, so he had to balance it out. Like JongMin match up date with Somin, HaHa gave tips to JongMin how to ask her out. It is up to Somin to make a decision to create the situation. I think it helps having HaHa balance it out for variety and fun. Whatever it is in variety stays in variety. Whether they have feelings for each other, it always comes after filming. Like Kwangsoo, he met up with Subin, it takes several meetings for them to finally date off screen. We didn't know for several months until Kwangsoo announced. I think it was after third meeting, Somin helped to exchange their numbers to get them to get to know each other. I think the first three meetings, they were still platonic or getting to know each other. Kwangmin continued when Kwangsoo was dating priviately. Jong Kook and Somin both have challenge for being regular members in a same show. They need everyone to help them to balance it out. Sechan, Jaesuk, and HaHa helps to balance it out. Jihyo, and Sukjin tends to support their own ship. Jihyo for Chan-min, and Sukjin for Kook-min. If kook-min is real, i dont think they wanted to reveal it directly on variety. Just think of how they hid kwangsoo-subin dating from the public. Everyone works together with staff to interact with one another. 

 

Sechan- does he have feeling for Somin? 

Sechan and Somin have been friends for a long time. How many times we hear that Somin's mom likes Sechan. Jaesuk said it several times. Somin reminded us several times. Sechan had all the chances he has with somin before they joined the show. Even after they joined the show, they still hang out with each other and follow each other. Somin already got her fortune told for Sechan and Kwangsoo. She said none of them are her destiny. Sechan obviously is not the best compatibility as he was born of fire and Somin is of metal. Jong kook said in other shows that Sechan can be very smooth to woo a girl he likes. Sechan is ladies man we watch some shows. His brother always said Sechan is more popular with girls than him. So it goes on and on. Jaesuk mentioned in Happy Together that Somin have end of third year marriage proposal to Sechan. Look at Sechan, his reaction is like... yeah right... not a shy look. It wasn't very positive moment that the two are taking each other for granted. I think Sechan has grown to like Somin over the time just like how other members have grown to love and adore her. The thing is that, it is up to Somin. She really proves her worth and talent much more than before in an astonishing rate. Somin in a way respect and would marry Sechan for his loyalty and sense of humour, but he doesn't make her heart beat 100 times. Some kind of raw attraction she would love to receive. Jong Kook and other leading guys she has crush on, she would run after them. Because of her break up experiences, she tends to sit back to put more appreciation on loyalty and devoted husband. Fortune teller listed Sukjin, Jaesuk, Jong kook, and Sechan devoted personality. Jong Kook proved to be very loyal in other shows. He wouldnt date any of his friends' ex. So i am kind of trying to see how Sechan can get in the way of Kook-min. If Kook-min is for real, Sechan must have given permission to Jong kook to pursue Somin. Or he is helping SOmin to get Jong Kook's attention. From the start, he was support kook-min interaction more than everyone else if you see his body language and remarks. He said about coffee date, hoping Jong kook will win somin, his body language reaction when Jong kook whispered SOmin during Korean fanmeet, saying Jong kook is a guest when Somin was looking for handsome male guest, and etc. Jong kook wouldnt bother or butt in cyan-min loveline which he has already done. And Kook-chan is born recently. So the whole logic and dynamic is quite strange like smokes and mirrors to prevent us see the direct answer. And I do believe that Jong Kook and Somin prefers to announce their love life only if they are ready to marry to each other or someone else. Or even registered the marriage. We don't know. Kook-min individually both value loyalty very much, and they had painful experience with their past breakups. Jong kook was waiting too long to be perfect. Somin is looking for loyalty as her priority. She would love to have more attraction with feelings if she is lucky. And Jong Kook is someone she could feel attraction to. And Jong Kook has always proved to be loyal and devoted by his friends and even fortune teller only if he falls in love. If he is not in love, he tends to be confusing and flaky sometimes. It takes a lot of patience to gradually get his heart. But worth it. 

 

I do believe HaHa means well for Somin and Jong Kook. Their love life remains private and up to them. And for Sechan, he had all the chance and close friendship with Somin. If their relationship is real, I dont think they would let everyone reveal their interest in each other. They would date privately. Because you dont want the public to judge you and tell you how to handle their relationship. For example, Hee Chul left social media after announcing his relationship with Momo. His fans mean well but they dont need your approval or judgement. It is just they told us they love each other. And it is entirely up to them. That is why Kook-min acts more naturally when there is no official loveline between them. They know fans can read between the lines, their words said something but their actions tell otherwise. 

 

About MUD's conversation and phone call to Somin- it is like Jong Min all over again. HaHa teaching Sechan. I think they are slowly trying to promote Somin in MUD. MUD has bigger fanbase and spectrum to get people get interested in what's going on. It helps with exposure for RM and Somin as well. I think the MUD phone call still points towards Kook-min than Chan-min. And I think Sechan also have been told to act it out. Because if he has feelings for somin, it is only true when it comes in private. Jong Kook is more transparent than Sechan.

The new PD is actually familiar with the old PD. He is just promoted. It will be little change but I think he would continue the things that works. I think Chan-min loveline will remain be there. I think they will continue it because Jong Kook butting in actually makes it more interesting and better. And Somin tends to like to do skits especially with romance for fun. And having Jong kook around creates chemistry either with Somin or Sechan. It is more of making lines and interactions to improve Sechan's screen time. Before SBS 2019 awards, Chan-min often consist of just Somin and Sechan earlier. Slowly, Somin in natural sense have been already become close to Jong Kook. However, the more they got to know each other on and off, the more they candidly chat with each other. Jong kook realised Somin's charms and warmth. Plus he is very close to Sechan too. It is sort of coincidence that could evolve into a fate. 

 

I think Jong Kook butting in Chan-min loveline later on is more natural than calculating script or order from PDs or staff. However, they realise that it gives different vibe that it is more like love triangle or kook-min. When they tried to restrict Kook-min in Chan-min loveline by teaming them apart from each other. You see Jong kook acted very weird. Like latest episode with HaNa. Somin was in shock and Sechan pulling her away from Jong Kook's direction.

 

I think the PDs and staff is trying to avoid of how Kwangmin and Monday couple ended. These two lovelines were very successful, but ended that hurts the ratings by viewer's mistrust and confusion.  Loveline between members are actually very professional and strictly business. Gary married to someone else. Kwangsoo is dating someone else. Chan-min could be strictly business to improve Sechan's screen time like how Gary worked with Jihyo. The reaction with Chan-min loveline actually affects Jong Kook a lot. I mean he could show that he is very supportive but he got into it too much. I dont know whether he is trying to help Sechan or enjoys spending time with Somin. I think he felt the void when Somin carried her skits for Chan-min loveline. She had to leave his side and work with Sechan. The Yondu episode when was the point of JongKook acted his own feeling to create ad libs to connect with Chan-min loveline. It became chaotic and unplanned. Jaesuk and HaHa had to jump in to come up with something to make distraction. That will develop Kook-min loveline after Jaesuk tested him once more to see if Jong Kook in his own decision to carry Chan-min loveline or triangle. I think it was unscripted because Jong Kook couldn't answer correctly. He spend a lot of time laughing and finally gotten into idea of making threatening tone to Somin without direct answer. Did he say few minutes ago that she is a family? Somin was able to save the day to make it like a skit or scripted to create fun. The PDs and editors decided to show it instead of edited it out for a reason. That could be kook-min loveline to become official. However, they didn't. Jaesuk tested the water again talking about kook-min marriage. After that, it is not official. Then during fortune telling event, there is kook-min dating remark. Then they tend to forget about it, then focus on Chan-min loveline. I think the confusion is made for an interesting reason and direction after long experience with Kwang-min and Monday couple. I think the PDs and Jaesuk felt that the viewers won't like a big surprises and confusion. One of the MCs kept on announcing that he was sure that Kwangsoo and Somin were dating for real. It felt painful embarrassment from the two.

 

Jong Kook acts like he supports Chan-min but the way he talks about it, he is going after Somin. During glutton episode, everyone is ganging up Sechan telling him to reciprocate his feelings for Somin. Sechan acts like he is denying or not at all. Jong Kook told him to say no in direct way. Then Jong kook went on to talk about his romantics antics and etc. that he was devoted to someone he loves. And it does drive Somin crazy with delight. He knows it. Everyone kept on saying that somin loves these stuff so much. Somin admires Sechan's loyalty. Jong Kook also shared that he is loyal but also very romantic which Sechan and most other guys lack. Then it builds it up that we the viewers started to see weirdness going on with Jong Kook. I think the PDs, Jaesuk, and staff had emergency meeting after Jong Kook got so weird from time to time. It was unlike of him.

 

When PD and Jaesuk tried to restrict Kook-min interaction or separate them, Somin's energy became low and Jong kook gets quite grumpy. It is like the two were desperate to work together one day. Sechan seems to be the key that brings them together without ruining the loveline for the show. The coincidence is slowly becoming more like a fate.

I think KookChanMin triangle proved to great variety momentum to gain viewership and trends. It is something to talk about, bringing hype, and comments about them. I do think the netizens can read between the lines to see which may be real. But they mostly enjoy the skits, natural interaction and chemistry as friends. Jong kook do work well when it comes to do skits. He can act cute or etc without ruining his overall variety persona and image.

 

I think Jaesuk decided to make controversial decision to come up with marriage joke for kook-min comes with a reason to avoid confusion or surprises that they are not trying to deceive the public. It is up to KookChanMin to handle the situation. It actually share how close they are, and enjoy working together. Jong kook has several friends and hangs out with his manager most of the time. He goes with them to LA or to go several trips. If he really wants to support Chan-min loveline, why did he keep on calling Sechan or keep him busy or hang out while he know Somin always hang out with Sechan. Why take her doll? Why are they competing for Sechan? That is why, it moves into an interesting phase that they want to make it like they are fighting over Sechan. It actually brings more laughs from the viewers to see their close friendship. In reality, it seems like he is targeting someone else he wanted to be close to. It wasn't first time he does things to impress Somin with his romantic antics, teasing her relentlessly, supporting her, scolding her, and trying to be close to her best friend whom she sticks like taffy. Jong kook should just let Jaesuk or Haha take care of Chan-min if he really wants to make it happen. That is probably how Jaesuk and the staff decided to come up with joke about marriage and dating between Kook-min. But they have like fish bowl memory that they kept on forgetting about it or acted it like it never bother them or gives them curiosity. Members are being weird.

I dont think Kwangsoo is dating Subin at the moment. i think he was very much single. When Subin came to RM twice, I dont think they were dating at the moment. I think after fortune telling event in 2018, Somin helped to get phone numbers to Kwangsoo and Subin to contact each other. Somin has no hope with her future relationship with Kwangsoo. i think Kwangsoo is very comfortable with Somin. He is very shy. Fortune teller does seem to be accurate about Somin and kwangsoo. she is his lucky charm that brings him to the love of his life no matter how close and compatible they are.

I think Jong kook is sort of making a move and Somin is taking backseat. Their roles have reverse in a subtle way.  I believe she will remain to support Sechan, her best friend. It is all up to Jong kook to make a decision of what he wants to say and do. He and SOmin probably do not want to share affection for each other openly in RM or etc. Learning from HeeChul, he dated Momo for three years privately, and after announcement, he dropped off from social media. It seems like he didn't want the fans or anyone to make judgement or encouragement about his loveline. Sometimes it didn't go well, it is his own personal life. He didn't want to share his private life with public especially with Momo. Even though the netizens are supportive, but still it is not up to them to be supportive or not. It is his own life and decisions. I dont think Jong Kook and SOmin will show their affection openly if they are really dating. Having Sechan in between makes sense and less awkward on screen but have excuse to spend time with each other.

Pay close attention to Sechan's reaction when Kook-min were whispering. Without Sechan's reaction, the two were probably want to talk to each other against noisy background. It could be normal because we couldn't see the right angle. But the clue is Sechan's reaction. If he wanted to chat, he could have butt in or join in easily or turn again. His reaction is quite weird though. It is like when I saw my friend chatting with her crush when we accidentally came closer to call her. We will retreat backwards and hide somewhere or leave them alone. That's how I feel and see Sechan's reaction.

This one is is so cute. The person who post it is Somin's fan, and she has several posts of Kook-min moments. 

 

The one above is my favourite. It is sort of fateful moment for kook-min wearing his lucky colour meeting a woman who wore his favourite team's logo. And Somin's destined to be with someone older and devoted as well. And also notice that Jong kook wore reddish pink (lucky colour) sweater greeting Somin along with trail of hearts passing his head towards Somin. He greeted her with firm handshake and pat her arm. It seems the closeness is something far so intense and lovely. Somin's wearing LA Lakers shirt (something strange about her stylist that I don't know whether they are Chan-min or Kook-min shipper. That LA Lakers shirt is so subtle yet cute. It did take notice from Jong Kook!) It must be his lucky day to see his possible fate wearing his favourite team shirt and walking along the trail of hearts along his head.

What @Rida Live said how the haters play victim card, "I used to like somin but recently..."

 

It is very true. And something i cannot understand how despiteful they are to create something they want to believe, and wanted to share it with others. I often ignore it because their logic is something so alien to me that there is nothing to understand about it, but know their real intentions of hate. 

 

These kind of things is something I cannot fathom my understanding the root of hate all because of that particular person. I went to my IG, there was hashtag appearing my posts of how they made somin's connection to PD have blown out of proportion for hateful reason.

 

The thing is that, we should observe members' reaction towards it. I believe they would be very protective towards Somin and the PD. The new PD has stellar resume in other variety shows that have been a great success. I still remembered him chasing after Kwangsoo on mud to get him back to the game. He has a great interaction with the members, and the members love to tease him too. I think Chul Min decided to leave is part of the process to next person to bring fresh ideas or etc instead of changing the members. It is similar practice to all variety shows. I dont think one PD wanted to do one show forever. It is time for change to help them to create a better resume and changes. Those who work under him would deserve and need a promotion for their long history with the team. 

 

I understand the worries for Somin and the new PD to face the ugly posts all over again today after the announcement of Chul Min's departure. It will come to pass but I know how awful the haters are. I have to imagine being in Jihyo's and her fan's shoe reading all the posts by her so called fans who wanted to protect her to read all of these things. Didn't the haters know that they are also hurting Jihyo and her fanbase? The haters' logic and practice is beyond me. Somin will face it, but I have to say that the one who will be hurt the most will be Jihyo. I love Jihyo, she is such a wonderful soul, and humble. Incredibly smart and introverted. She is calm and sweet. She can do many great things, but I think she prefers to keep her actress image. I think she'll gain great honour this year as an actress. She will have wonderful future. I really put my heart on Somin who has very sensitive soul, but has a heart of great courage to look over terrible things and continue to make others laugh and being loved, and nurture them with her kindness and full of love. Sometimes, worse things will bring out the best in a person. If Somin came to running man without controversy to replace Gary who voluntarily left the show, she wouldnt push herself to hard and will remain equal like everyone else. But they were in dire time, Somin had to push herself hard. She gained fans in rapid rate, but also haters even faster pace because of all old members fanbase combined (Jihyo, 7012, RM controversy, and Kwangsoo fanbase). It started to die down after three years. Now the ones who are barking about new PD is already in minority, because the new PD already has stellar resume and had good relationship with members after working with them for a long time too. He knows them well to take care of them and bring out their strengths. Sechan is doing so much better now. I think they are learning the lesson from the past when they put new PD during RM controversy, which was a big mistake to both international fanbase and old members. 

 

Somin's fanbase is now working hard to find a way to stop the false rumour. The new PD just recently married around a year ago. The haters need to stop it and ruin everyone's lives especially Somin and the PD. The haters need to force to understand that they are insulting RM members as whole.

I just vote for Kook-min and sechan. =) 

 

I just notice a bit that Somin's jealousy over Kook-chan gave me bit of intuition that Jong Kook is doing it to make Somin jealous. He knew he couldn't do it with somin in front of camera. And doing with Sechan is teasing her. Somin has a way of recognising the signals, and act jealous of bromance and sticking to Chan-min loveline. But the chemistry is so strong between Kook-min naturally like background chemistry. It is really like watching drama. The difference is what's real and what's skit. What feels real is how Jong kook unconsciously follow Somin's lead; the way he looks at her, followed her lead, and laughing at her jokes and skits. Jong Kook is very transparent and happier. He happily joked with Sechan. It has been a long time he made a skit going opposite of Somin's suggestion and rubbing the stomach. Sechan and Somin caught the cue and played along. It is a great teamwork and tandem. It is just getting too funny. But the chemistry is stronger and oozing with kook-min. Seeing Jong Kook laugh is something Somin enjoys doing. Not only Jong Kook, but to everyone too! Sechan getting screen time with help of kook-min is their pride that they finally get sechan to show his talent. It is like they are happy for each other. Sechan is happy that kook-min is getting along and fighting over him. Jong kook is more relaxed, funnier, and even weird. He finally made his own skits to bring bromance and cute jealousy from Somin. And Somin was able to pick up the cue and play along with them. It was fun to watch. Chan-min loveline really do need Jong kook for variety. 

 

It is funny that it happens after Jong kook heard somin's fortune. Somin sticks to Sechan like a taffy. And Somin's destiny is to marry someone older than her. It is like, in order to get Somin or get her to like you, you need to accept Sechan into the equation. It is a coincidence that Jong Kook is already very close to Sechan. He still choose Somin first just because she is debuting as a writer. Somin asked Kwangsoo to promote it for her for HaNa's show. I dont think she asked Jong Kook to promote for her. =) It is kind of illogical excuse to choose someone in the team. They need brain, brawn, or etc. That's usual Sparta's way of thinking to win. He could promote Somin's debut as a writer earlier in the opening. Oh Somin is going to publish her book, or etc. I think he said it to impress her to like him. Sechan is like their lucky charm that brings them together. It is a fate that Jong kook highly suggested Sechan to join the show that led Jong kook to Somin. In general, it is very hard for jong kook to fall in love. His family and friends would have to tell him or push him. He usually trust them because they know him well. Sechan is very close to Jong kook, they must have talked about Somin and how she really is. It does seem like Somin likes Jong Kook or is her type. Sechan and Somin have been good friends for a long time, and she made proposal to get married if they remain single. It is to me that Chan-min is already evolved long before they came to RM. it is platonic relationship that comes with benefit if other things does not work. However, joining RM, I can see Sechan is trying to help Somin to get close to Jong kook especially in early 2019. He tends to tie them together first before Jaesuk began to blurt it out in late 2019. 

 

The fortune teller said Somin will have lucky charm that will bring her to her husband. I think it is Sechan or Jaesuk. Possibly Sechan because Jaesuk has a family and other work to take care of. The story Jong Kook shared that he called Sechan to hang out, then Jaesuk chimed in that Somin was also lonely at that time calling Sechan to hang out. It is like coincidence rather than fighting over the doll. =) It is very interesting of how Jong Kook wanted to tell the story about Sechan, but to connect with Somin. Jong kook has a lot of friends and managers for him to call. If he wants to support Chan-min loveline, he would stay away from them to develop their relationship. Somin said he's the doll i cannot touch. They wanted to make it look like that are promoting Chan-min loveline, but coming out from Jong Kook, it is oozing Kook-min chemistry because of connection that they wanted same thing. The two are connected to Sechan, and they know it. =) Jong Kook is attempting to make closer bond with Sechan has some kind of meaning because he knows Somin is close to him. The whole thing is that, he is drawn to Somin rather than Sechan. I think he enjoys making Somin jealous. =) hope they can continue for variety. It just makes kook-min chemistry stronger. I think it is time for change for some members who may have new job offers or etc. When Song Joongki left, he found a new popularity and even got married which eventually got divorced. =( Gary left, and finally got married. However, it gives them more chance for career wise or family. It is not going to be firing time or asking for replacement. I think one of the member decided to go but needed a replacement to test the water before they make announcement.

 

RM and SBS shouldn't be so rude to replace some members just because of the ratings and change of season like other shows. They failed to give respect and proper farewell or etc. It needs something to prepare for changes in a good manner. SBS and RM staff made a mistake. Rating was really bad at that time. It didn't need to hurt someone's feelings. Their bodies and health have taken toll because of RM. I think the lack of understanding was made because of continuous change of PDs. The new PD didn't know and observe how and what members have gone through. They just look into results or etc. 

 

We would need to accept the changes, but hopefully to see the old member outside of the show. Wish them the best of the luck. It is a long run for original members. RM has taken a lot of time from member's schedules, and the ratings is stable but not like before when they got 20 percent or more. 

 

HaNa's frequent visit is like her audition for chemistry for RM. She is interviewing a lot of idols in her show. It helps to connect more fans to promote RM. RM needed a lot of local viewership in order to survive. She may be regular guest rather than a member. It could be their new strategy instead of permanently hired them to show up every single week to give flexibillity. Their business has to survive. it is sad reality, but everyone will continue to work hard to serve the purpose to bring laughter and happiness... hopefully to lower suicide and depression.

I find it interesting that Jong kook involving with chan-min loveline, he tends to be little weird as he always do when it comes to introducing his friend to go on a blind date or meeting his friend's crush. Like how he did it with Kwangsoo, and he is aware of any women always falling for him. He just know it, but when it comes to Chan-min, if he really want to support them, he wouldn't try to get involved. He would just let Jaesuk or HaHa or married one to be the one to coordinate Chan-min loveline to avoid triangle. 

 

Even in MUD, he had to avoid lovelines with Somin especially. Finally he tried to match her up with Jong Min. I mean, did they set the rule for him not to make any loveline with Somin? It goes same for RM- kook-min wasn't official loveline. The contradiction is like listening to 2020 fortune telling forecast for somin: She is compatible and have taffy like relationship with Sechan, but her marriage ties is with older man (Jong kook and other older men). 

 

I find it funny that this time, Jong Kook gets involved with Somin's cute cheesy conversation with Sechan that Jong Kook agrees it out of blue in middle of conversation hoping anyone would miss it but to reach Somin's ears. He knows the PD and staff can edit it anytime. But this time, the staff and editor let it lose but put caption to create distractions. Didn't we all see Sechan before entering Chan-min loveline that he was supportive of Kook-min. He even said Somin's mother likes Jong Kook a lot, and gave Somin thumbs up. He wanted to be the one to tell the story that Somin asked Jong Kook out for coffee. He even said he hopes Jong kook will win and team up with Somin. This time, with Chan-min, Sechan acts bit scared cat. He always look at Jong kook's direction. 

 

I also notice something about Jong Kook involving loveline. When Jaesuk and HaHa tease Jong kook with any lovelines has thrown at him, did you see how he felt so apologetic to any loveline connected to him? The latest one was with HaNa. HaHa teased their loveline, he wanted to punch him with stuffed pig. When Jaesuk mention about Eun-hye, he gave him death stare. Flying kicks and smacks for Kwangsoo or anyone calling him flirty kook. He hates those stuff. When they talked about Somin, he tends to let it be. Kim Jong Kook, PD said to promote Chan-min loveline or Somin's love frog image! I find it interesting when he didn't give direct answer when Jaesuk asked him if he likes Somin, instead of giving direct answer and weird laugh, he answers Somin in a rough way with AMBIGUOUS answer. Did he said less than a minute ago that she's a family? Somin tends to save the day or come up with skits to help him to liven it up. It does seem that he enjoys her humour and being comfortable with her. 

 

Also I am surprised that he also seem to know anything about somin. Even he knows how somin went to see the singer alone without Jaesuk to write a lyrics. He seems to know what happened to Somin, like he gets to hear from Sechan and Kwangsoo sometimes. Now this time, the automatic door. I mean this is sort of romantic moment for somin. Jong Kook watched her from afar. And Sukjin, thank you so much, blurt it out that he missed it! So the two were sort of alone because Jong Kook said Somin was alone gazing the snow. I think it would be better if Kwangsoo will tell the story with help from Jong kook could have said, Kwangsoo and I saw her being weird in romantic like she was gazing at the snow... Jong kook talks as if he was proud of her to be part of cute and funny stories to share. It is usually jaesuk who takes the lead. I also notice the pattern; kook min were often together. 

 

I think Somin is calling Sechan to hang out, probably she know he would be with Jong kook. Or sechan will call Jong kook to hang out with them. Jong Kook was now very close to Sechan, a doll Somin is fighting for with Jong kook. It is becoming like Sechan is their adoring son rather than loveline and bromance when they spend more time with each other. The car scene between Kook-min and Sechan- the conversation was so cute. Somin do fantasise a lot. She gave role to Jong Kook that he could be comfortable, and the two will drive Sechan crazy in a role he is not comfortable with. It does show that Somin is more in tandem with Jong Kook than Sechan. Sechan was panicking and uncomfortable. This time, it gets more hilarious. And Jong Kook also got bit weird. He goes back and forth as a son, bromance, and very subtle kook-min adoration. He seems to be more at ease with Somin. He had all kinds of ways to be close to her. Sechan was the key. Jong kook found out that Sechan and Somin will always be close like taffy, but she will marry someone older, he is getting more strange. I just find it if he is strategising to be closer to Somin, or it is a fate.

That was so sweet of Jong Kook to talk about cute stories about Somin. He always blurt things about her. He was the one who said Somin went to meet Soran singer alone to make lyrics without Jaesuk. It feels like they are together most of the time to share stories. 

 

It is like side or hidden hint that he is telling everyone and us that they spend a lot of time together. Hehe. Before Kwangsoo and Sechan often tell how they hang out with Somin and their friends together drinking. Jong Kook now is blurting left to right subtly showing she is my gal in platonic way for viewers' sake.

When the fortune teller said Somin was born in spring with strong energy of metal, Jong kook snicker and laughed. Somin gave him an eye but she knows he is just being weird. The reading is not really funny. Just little serious or nothing funny about it. It is just the way he sees it and knowing her, he thought of something funny or cheesy between them. 

 

That is why some of you guys think Jong kook was being rude or weird in a teasing way when he laughed at Somin's serious reading about her element. We all sometimes forgot for the moment that it is not who Jong Kook is. He wouldnt go that far with Somin since he knows she is very sensitive soul. However, it seems to be that he is at ease to tease her anytime to annoy her in a good way that could push them closer. He is ready for Somin to give him collar. That calls for skinship. He offended Somin so many times, and she sends him witty remarks or stare. That way, he would retreat or get defeated. I think it is Jong kook kind of humour he enjoys. The two have been teasing each other all the time like he wouldnt stop calling SOmin's name to get her best card or make her lose or suspect her. He was always engaging with Somin's unpredictably. They have a great dynamics that really calls for natural kook-min chemistry we come to enjoy, and they are so entertaining. I guess we do share same humour as them. 

 

I just saw the dynamics between two that they are more than just colleagues. Just image how close they are to laugh at each other with a tease. My close friends and relatives who knew me well would laugh or snicker at me. They won't act surprised but laugh at me at something that is serious but they know something funny or cheesy about it between us two. 

 

Remember Kwangsoo said... they seem like a couple who fights viciously before they kiss. It pretty sums up of how Jong kook likes to tease Somin to annoy her, and she would get witty or upset. Then he would come back to make it up to her later. Remember Jong Kook said Somin looks like one of the comedian. She was so upset and gave him a collar. He gave her comforting squeeze on her shoulders, then Somin was all smile. 

 

I have to say that the two really have good chemistry whether they are dating, close friends or just colleagues. They have good dynamics and sense of humour. It was very few times Jong Kook enjoy joking at without cringe. He laughs more heartily that it is something that is really funny to him. When Somin did her gorilla dance, he laughed hard. It is something I can tell that he enjoys it this kind of humour and entertainment.

 

Looking at the dynamics of kook-min, I just have to say that 2018 fortune telling forecast list of compatibility is right that Somin-Jong Kook really work well with each other on and off screen. Kwangsoo-Jaesuk are also the best pair too. Not sure about the rest (Jihyo-Sechan and HaHa-Sukjin).

Before the members met the fortune teller, Jaesuk teased about setting up dates for desperate singles, Jong kook and Somin, that they may ended up dating each other. Then Jong Kook diverted attention to Sechan. Somin in her variety persona acts disappointed stomping her foot, but her expression seem less enthusiastic. Then she suggest that she and Sechan can go together with Jong kook. Look at Sechan's smirk after responding to that. Hehe. i wonder if anyone really miss it or ignore to do so. Hehe. I think it has to do with Jong Kook's defence mechanism to keep himself from looking surprised or amusement to make it look like he is teasing her.  He likes to tease her something opposite of what she likes to hear. And she knows he is joking. It is bit like a burst of laugh in a different way that he is sort of trying to hide his feelings. If he is not hiding, he will smile and laugh with others. It reminds me of him laughing out of blue when Jaesuk asked him if he likes Somin. Somin took it like she is used to seeing him like that, or understood why he laughs. I think she is smirking a bit. I am surprised with her reaction. If it is something new, she would ask him why his laughing at her. Someone made a post that he or she was touched that no matter how somin has to deal with loveline or chemistry, she still takes care of them, and protecting their image. It is not only Sechan, she also made Kwangsoo more manly and fun to be with. 

 

Whether they tried to make fun of Sechan being a devoted husband but low class. A guy who can't reach to her expectations. He may reach someone else, but not her. It ends with laughter. I think it is true because Somin does need something more than that to keep relationship exciting and loyal. She ended with comment how she respect Sechan's true nature. I think the fortune teller really do think Jong Kook and Somin are more than just compatible. For variety sake, he couldn't mention them together, and same with members especially after Jaesuk joked about Kook-min possibly would date each other. Even after Gannes Film Festival theme when he brought up marriage between the two. And so many conflicts with Sechan and Somin's reading. If Somin has ties with older guy, why not suggest Jong Kook to check their compatibility. It is interesting that they decided to skip it. Jong Kook as devoted husband role could be important part of Somin's fortune and her personality. Sechan couldnt reach to her expectations, so who else does. Fortune teller could object that Jong Kook is something else or etc to dispel the rumours or etc. It is all separated issue. It is part of strategy to get screen time and attention for MUD and RM. The more hype, the more they could get Jinyoung to come again. Everyone gets paid especially the guest. People think SBS ship anyone when they post lovelines. It is part of marketing to build more fans and interest. 

 

It is just media hype rather gossip news. Lovelines tell story or skits. The background scenes is promote their natural chemistry the fans haven't seen before. Oooh they are also close. 

 

I find it interesting, because somin's involved with them. She tries to get them to play together or act flirty with jong kook. Ever since Somin joined, she gets a lot of hates personally directed at her. Even Kwangmin gets criticism from them too. Somin and Kwangmin fans have been fighting fire for a long time. It didn't work when you comment them and no matter how you make sense, they still try to annoy you off. I gave up reasoning with them, and tried to tell Somin's fans to have a private chat to rant along themselves privately as possible venting it all out. And avoid answering any hate comments we came across. We allow any constructive criticism, but there was NONE. 

 

What I am most worried about is fanatic kook-min or kwangmin fan posting crazy IG posts which embarrassed us to the extent. No matter how similar our theories are, they crossed the line. I told them to avoid directly tag them or hashtag anyone to offend them with their theories. I have encounter couple of them, it is somehow some kind of conspiracy going on to hurt Somin's image even more forcing anyone distant themselves from her. That was their plan and strategy. 

 

I have seen some other shippers got into a fight or push down one someone who is doubting the ship. He or she shared their doubts but they hope someone could convince them to stay on the ship. However, the reply came to push them down saying they are not real shipper and accusing them pretending to be one. There are times I have doubted as Kook-min shipper. I came to share little doubts but I have to be careful of how I could share it the details since we have to focus on Kook-min ship. I have to say that we are quite lucky that Kook-min relationship has become more interesting than ever. 

 

I felt sorry for other shippers, but I dont condone their spiteful words and theories. Just imagine you are Jong Kook reading these theories, what do you think he will feel? Would he lost respect for their choice of words? The other shippers are trying really hard to keep hope. I just say, let them be. They had come a long way. I felt bad if I were Jong Kook deceiving them if the ship have sunk already. I do hope Kook-min won't sink either. We have high hopes but RM is notorious for breaking our hearts. Monday Couple ship sank so badly. So lets not try to be fanatic but continue to share theories and analysis to enjoy the natural treasure hunting to find gem of Kook-min chemistry, siblings, couple, or etc. 

 

I in fact became late Kook-min shipper after being long time Kwangmin fan. I love how Kwangmin chemistry made me laugh to heart's content. Kwangsoo is amazing and I cannot fathom how he could make us laugh with his wits and courage. Combined with Somin, it is a gold; a male and female version of each other. They have good partnership. I was at first didn't like Jong Kook much because he was really hard on Somin. He tease her in a very obnoxious way. However, it took me a long time that is his usual sense of humour. if you know him better, he means well to joke around to get to close to one another. With Somin, opposite gender, he did that to her, and look how Somin react to it. She gives him the wittiest answers. Dang, let me tell you this once again in my realisation, they two have same sense of humour. Somin understood his humour. Look at one of the current episode with HaNa as a guest, the members asked Jong kook what kind of type of a girl he likes. He said someone who is fun to be with, and also have same sense of humour. When Jong Kook made obnoxious jokes against Somin again comparing her looks to comedian, she goes over to him and give him collar. A skin-ship had been made. Jong Kook wrapped his arms around her. Somin was smirking at bit. She accepted it but knew it is a joke. When Jong Kook kept on calling her name to suspect her, she comes to him with annoyance. He held his hands up ready for her to smack or collar him again. He was smiling and enjoying driving her nuts. That way made me realise he wanted to connect with her. Maybe he felt sorry for her in general. Or does he like her? I was intrigued. After getting into Kook-min ship, Jong kook looks more relaxed and different. I saw a change I often ignore it for a long time. She never gives it up on him. I started to watch MUD and got to know about him bit more and his dating style. How hard it is to get his attention. Once he falls in love, he is totally different. That kind of trait is very attractive to women. Somin in a way seems to be a fate he has been waiting or looking for so long. Jong Kook is Somin's hopeful dream to come true. There is setback and hurdles between them. There were misunderstanding between each other. I dont know whether to say if Jaesuk or Sechan is a lucky charm that brings Somin to her lifetime partner. Both of them are connecting Kook-min together. He doesn't react well with romance like a sponge. You just have to find a way to break the wall or get inside. Jaesuk is more of Jong Kook's equal and does not know Somin too well at that time. Somin also became close to Kwangsoo. Sechan and Kwangsoo are very dear to Jong kook's heart. Somin was there for Kwangsoo and caring for him like her child.
