    I don’t think he is dead yet,  hopefully he survives and get a revenge on HT and pays his due to  XQ by helping him. 
     

    The reunion was short. single scene that’s it?


    There was no proper revenge yet from Xioa xi and Awu for the Hu general and the lost soldiers and his asasination. Only at the end of ep 63 Awu gets to know who was behind the plot. 

    Instead of unconditionally standing behind her husband and coming up with the takedown bad people plot, why she still acts like a Saint and worried abt the fight between husband and zitan. She still did not tell him yet, also funny thing she directly went to Su Jin to give a face to face break up, not even a slap.

     

    I’m extremely disappointed, there was no Awu badass , I think I’ll just have to wait on forever fir the scenario where she should have returned to them on double or triple dosses on what she and her husband got.

     

    Hopefully after subs I may have better understanding of her view point

     

    also I feel like all the bad guys got plenty of scenes And Our OTP got less, 

     

    in the remaining 5 episodes will they cover the remaining plot? How would they fit in everything zitan overthrown, wanglin ascending  throne and him being over thrown and Song  betrayal and down fall and Xioa xi becoming emperor and OTP HEA and having kids. I think we have to forgot about few, idk I’d they will just wrap up thier ending in a single scene

    i really hope Xioa xi and wang xuan wil find out all the things were caused by everyone in the royal family before making the move. I guess we don’t have enough episodes left to cover all and not sure which plot they will cut, I hope they do   not cut WX having twins. 

    how will they fit XQ rescue WX, wanglin rebellion, Song. Rebellion,   XQ becoming emperor, WQ delivering twins and surviving the delivery and our OTP living HEA, all these in 11 episodes Crazy. It seems they just left the first part of the episodes as is and cut the last .. Aish,, is there a way that they will release the rest of the episodes after 68?

     

    Question: Did Xiao Xi find out that it was the royal family in cahoots with Helen zen? When he was trapped he knew it was HZ who wanted to kill but did he get the whole picture?

She could sniff out something isn't right during the little prince episode/her uncle trying to kill Xiao Qi/read the mind of battle hardened father of 2nd prince/use her wit to help in defeating the 1st palace coup yet it is hard for her to believe that WanRu,Zilong,Empress Dowager wanted her husband dead?

    Her softness towards HelanZhen needed a better depiction to justify it. It would have been more understable if she displayed a fiesty personna as there is nothing else to loose now from her end.

    52-57 have been disappointing from the main character's POV.Without XiaoQi to balance,the burden of carrying the series was to much for the shoulders of the princess who is yet to rebel.

     


    I totally agree every word, we dearly miss her badass side of her connecting the dots and sometimes she behaves as though she has amnesia, why would she leave HZ out of suspect loop on who killed her husband as he tried hard last time.

     

    I feel like there isn’t enough episode left to cover the OTP come back success and specifically Awu cleverness, badass and toughness. Idk if I’m expecting too much from our FL. why they even want to give screen time to wan qian. If they only kept the original 80 episodes, why they have to reduce it to 68.:pensive:

    One scene of snake Jin-er where Awu is sleeping & she is sitting next to her....that seems like the kidnapping scene which everyone is guessing about. Jin-er must have thought if Awu stays here she would get in the way of her grand love story with Zitan & hence maybe helped drug (as usual!!!!) Awu so she can be parceled off to Hulan. 

     

    And a lot of scenes of Song too best being one where he is driving some loser Royal which will be Zitan from the throne room:hwaiting2: How I wish Song remains faithful after getting so much power & stays with XQ forever

    We are on same page I tot too that she is kidnapping and shipping of Awu to somewhere. Awu wears the same dress as ep 51.


    our friends @jacquelinetan earlier spoiled us that 

     

     Song guy is killing of wanglin as he will usurp the throne again the second time and also songs betrayal of our hero plot plays after. Zitan may be killed by Xioa xi as he announces Awu has his empress, also there might be some war between song and xiao Qi, as he might go for the throne too 

     

    im not sure abt the order though 


    in the novel 

    the final end is our beloved OTP becoming empress and emperor and they have twins and boy becomes crown prince, not sure if drama follows, I’d they do I’ll be super happy  as they went through a lot

    I saw this image on the first page of this thread. Does anyone know when this image is from? Must be after XQ comes back but why is he raising that sword at her?

    I think it's towards the end, when Zitan or perhaps her father is sitting on the throne. This scene was included in one of the trailers; XQ was saying how his army isn't here to protect the thone that's behind her, but rather he's responsible for keeping peace and harmony for the whole country.

     

    So I think the sword isn't aimed at her, but rather the throne behind her.

    yes indeed, in one of the scene Zitan was behind , so he is pointing the sword at zitan. This shd be in in this OST.

    really the cure worked? This is the end goal we are waiting for, hopefully they have one for all the trouble she went for.

    BTW, I'm little surprised on how her body is weak, even though she is of royalty and grow up best things available for her. So the emotional toll is what's causing her damage on body and mind.

    Ahh i missed ep 50, i was wondering where that scene was , seeing Xiao xi cornered , i'm bawling, the whole episode is heart wrenching, i cant believe that Helen guy uses kids to threaten him, so he is so low not even that, he is lowest of lowest.

     

    Special salute to Hu Brother and sister, His sacrifice to save him:bawling: and her to hurt her own brother even in death.:tears:

    @gingerchews thanks. Looks like royal family  dig their own grave by joining hands with the enemy, what they were thinking?

    Ahhh I’m angry , Our Awu didn’t even dance for her dear husband why she is dancing for this good for nothing guy and that to together , in the end this dance is to help that bratty gal, but that gal is trying to pull the rug under them, This wen qian idiot really went for it, I’m hate that he had to cut his own hand to relieve of the drug. 
    What a frustration, every one comes to stupid conclusion immediately, but the scene where Awu saw his husband with bloody hands and she ignored current event and looked only at his suffering and understood the sitaution, that is some connection, I loved that and she immediately hugged him.

    @minglanfan2 Agreed! He looks soooooo creepy when he's imagining Awu! He was kind of cute in the beginning but as the series progressed, he started to look more odd.

     

    I agree, in addition, Genera song looks like real Villain with that face change inside the carriage when he is on own in one of the ep, what power and money can do. I wonder how deep he hid this other part of him and his desires.so far he is hidden well, even XQ was thinking he is dearest brother who will listen and follow but greed has no boundaries if let in.

    I wonder what the doc and awu spoke, she seem to get some kind of treatment and I wonder if she is going to take the previous medicine or take the ones for getting better health.

     

    this nanny of the empress whose spy she is? from what i see it might be empress dowager but she gave something to the Helen spy, Also there are spies in the military/royal guards who are colluding with the helen guy as well.

     

    so is the empress being buried alive? what is going on.. at the last moment empress has a eye opener that Awu is the only one she can entrust her son.

     

    Did emperor agree to the plan of empress going to the hunting ground, they wanted to hurt Xiao xi, instead they are hurting themselves is what I understand. royal family members got rocks in their brain, as long as they need power they can hurt anybody

     

    Xiao xi definitely heard the friend's daughter and followed the assassins. I think this info is passed to Helen/3P guys by su jin I think. I cant wait for all of them to get their share.

The first 7 episodes are mostly original aside from establishing relationships, otp's first meeting is different for one (in the novel, Awu gets first good look at him when he comes to save her after she got kidnapped). Wanru and sister-in-law are much nicer in the novel, since there's no drugging and no infidelity. Emperor, 2nd prince and Wang Lin got lot more scenes since they did lot of scheming, they all died differently too. I didn't even remember Wang Qian existed till she appeared, that's how irrelevant she was in the novel. 3rd prince is also less dumb in the novel iirc, he was just kind of tragic and powerless, rather than what the hell are you doing, dude?

    Looking forward to some action please....gentle and syrupy sweet I can only take so much.  Awu has lost some point with me these days.   

    She wants He Lan Zhen to marry another woman...so as long as Wang's are spared its ok. 

    She meets He Lan Zhen on her own...I don't know all the rules in the 4th century or so, but even today you don't go on your own to meet other man , especially when you know the venom he carries for your husband  without a proper plan .  What makes you think that he can't rape you since you came to him , he can claim what the empress snake is spewing and making it true.   I am not seeing /feeling that liveliness, greatness, that brightness of though, that spunk I guess I wanted a bit of Wei Yingluo  here . 

     

    Totally agree, I'm also looking forward to the next set but at the same time I'm more scared to watch it go down for Xiao Qi and Awu, since I saw the spoilers scene of how its going to go. Also am not ready to part with Hu general as he is one of us on the OTP ship, ready to defend at any time.

     

    Yinglo is total spunk, she goes straight to action without blinking and worrying of consequences. I think Awu does the same some times like when she kidnapped the general's mom. I think she is bit more relaxed in thinking for this scenario as she may be little bit sympathetic towards the naughty cousin thinking she in the same situation as her, but I agree she should have a had a plan and should have observed a little big picture and thought about his hidden goal, as she knew his original intention loud and clear from kidnapping. idk now she seems little slow in picking things, by this time shd know everyone has hidden agenda's like say one thing and doing something else in the shadow. Looks like our gal is not there yet, we know she does well on the open tactics but I wonder when shewill start to protect/defend herself from these hidden tactics.

    Its hard for me to accept it, but if our couple is happy with adopted kids and live as HEA, why not, I'll wrap around the concept and embrace it. but I guess we will be overjoyed with more additions.

    As I was saying maybe Miss Wang Xian will get her punishment by fulfilling the marriage contract and marry He Lan Tuo after what she tried to do to Xiao Qi. You think Wang Xuan wants to help her now even Wang Su knows she tried to "rape" his brother in law.

    i think I’ll be bawling when I see the actual episodes 

     

    what’s with Helen guy, it was his cousins who put his mother in harms way. What xiao xii doesn’t clear the misunderstanding. Idk why our hero rescued him from falling of the mountain. This guy does t understand that he saved his life and only cut away his arm, He pays back in bad way.

    I just know that Zidan want to kill Xiao Qi and cooperate with Helan zhen, Awu maid have arrangement married with general song..Its seems everybody wants Xiao Qi death..and its seems that Awu will difficult to pregnant again..

    thanks. I was wondering why the spineless prince is meeting with hulas guy, I understand CP want to kill Awu so she met, but this guy want to kill Xiao Qi, ridiculous. So I’m not sure if he know what treatment Awu got. Anyway so he is planning on turning on him. So is everybody thinking if XQ is not there they will have easy access to Awu

     

    idk if I shd be happy or sad abt general Song crushing hard for Awu, he even dreamt abt her and it seem to driving him crazy and that’s why he seem to have ok to marriage 

    crushing on somebody is not harmful but I dread the day if he makes a bad move

    He goes for throne. I can’t believe he is not happy as a prime minister to CP. he can make decisions for him and have the highest power,  yet he does a stupid rebellion. If he loves his family he could have tot hard before making a move. So I guess his ambition come first before family
