Hello chingus, a little sad post but just wanna let the thread know that a YT vlogger in the Philippines named Lloyd Cafe Cadena who held a 3.18M subscribers died yesterday at the age of 26 and he was a fan of Bogum.
Throwback of his tweets in Music Bank Singapore.
He felt so excited that typing the name of Park Bo Gum became Park Go Bum (same sound) wc is also happening to me especially when I'm super excited.

Star actor Park Bo-gum joins military amid COVID-19 pandemic
CHANGWON, South Korea, Aug. 31 (Yonhap) -- Actor Park Bo-gum started his mandatory military duty Monday.
Dressed in black, Park entered the Navy Education and Training Command in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, at 2 p.m.
As his agency Blossom Entertainment has promised no farewell event at the training camp due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 26-year-old did not give a nod or a hand salute.
Instead of visiting the site on strengthened social distancing, his fans said goodbye and sent encouraging messages to Park on online communities.
He will be tested for the novel coronavirus before beginning his training, according to the Navy.
After six weeks of basic military training there, he is expected to be transferred to the Navy headquarters in the central city of Gyeryong. He will be discharged in April 2022.
Making his silver screen debut with the thriller film "Blind" (2011), Park gained huge popularity after taking a lead role in the hit TV series "Reply 1988" (2015) and "Love in the Moonlight" (2016).
His last small screen TV project, "The "Record of Youth," will be aired on tvN next Monday.

Park Bo Gum seen with short hair as he enlists in the Navy

Previously, It was reported that Park Bo Gum was enlisting quietly in the Navy on August 31st.
However, he was seen by reporters, and photos of Park Bo Gum with short hair were released on the same day. On August 31st, Park Bo Gum joined the Navy Education Command in Jinhae, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.
Just as announced, Park Bo Gum entered the education command quietly as he wore a black jacket and black sneakers with a black cap. Many, including the new recruits, did not recognize Park Bo Gum because of his cap and mask.
What also was eye-catching was his short hair that was visible under his black hat. He entered the training command at 2 PM on this day. Just as requested, there weren't many fans that have gathered at the site and there wasn't any commotion.
The trainees would be tested for the COVID19 virus before entering into the training command and the results of the virus testing will be released on September 1st KST.

tvN’s upcoming drama “Record of Youth” has released a teaser for the first episode!
“Record of Youth” is about young people who struggle to achieve their dreams and find love amid the harsh realities of the modeling industry. Park Bo Gum plays Sa Hye Joon, an aspiring actor and model, Park So Dam plays Ahn Jung Ha, an aspiring makeup artist, and Byun Woo Seok plays Won Hae Hyo, a model who wants to achieve success on his own terms.
The new teaser opens with Ahn Jung Ha talking to her smartphone and saying, “I’m able to get through the day because of you. Are you getting through the day as well?” The scene cuts to her admiring Sa Hye Joon from afar as he walks the runway.
However, Sa Hye Joon is far from living the glamorous life as he returns home to find his family in a stir. His mother holds a notice from the Military Manpower Administration out to him and says gently, “It’s time for you to go [to the military], isn’t it?” His father says sternly, “Go to the army right now,” but Sa Hye Joon retorts, “How can I go right now? It’s nighttime.”
Sa Hye Joon keeps pursuing his dreams of becoming a model, but his father says angrily to his mother, “Does it make sense that you get paid for walking?” Sa Hye Joon says angrily, “I get torn apart by society and then come back home to get torn apart some more by my own family” and sheds a tear alone in his room.
Ahn Jung Ha, on the other hand, is thrilled to find that she has a chance of meeting her idol. In voice-over, she says, “I want to meet that man and tell him that I’m cheering him on.” In the final scene of the teaser, Sa Hye Joon walks around backstage among the makeup artists. Ahn Jung Ha can’t take her eyes off him and finally her gaze seems to catch his eye.
“Record of Youth” premieres on September 7.

tvN has released new stills of Park Bo Gum and Shin Dong Mi in the upcoming tvN drama “Record of Youth”!
“Record of Youth” is about young people who struggle to achieve their dreams and find love amidst the harsh realities of life in the modeling industry. Park Bo Gum stars as Sa Hye Joon, an aspiring actor and model. Shin Dong Mi is Lee Min Jae, Sa Hye Joon’s enthusiastic newbie manager who will do anything to turn him into a star.
On August 31, tvN gave a closer look at Park Bo Gum’s and Shin Dong Mi’s characters. In the first still, Sa Hye Joon rushes to stop Lee Min Jae from leaving after she’s decided to quit her job. Lee Min Jae appears surprised to hear what Sa Hye Joon has to say.

Annyeong soompi chingudeul!
I love this drama since Season 1 and am sorry I haven't able to visit immediately after the first and second episodes since I am still digesting what will be it's theme/conflict.
To all who know S1, the theme revolves with Prosecutor Hwang Si Mok and how he isn't feeling any emotions and his connections to the prosecutor and police world and the rest is history.
Stranger drama has the knacks of confusing twists of cases and if you really not keen to watch it, it will be a mess for a viewer to understand.
So far we have two ongoing cases:
1. Drowning of two college freshmen wc has connection with the chaebol that taken out the signages around the coastal areas;
2.the suicide of the police officer wc is highly doubted as homicide and used by the Prosecutor Legal Department to cement the right of Prosecution Dept to handles sole investigation.
Now that I just finished ep3, it really surfaced that its theme for the mean time is the Battle of Prosecution and Police Department to their rights to investigate. And for me this will be an interesting conflict.
BRING IT ON!!!
Both sides are readying themselves for the battle wc department should handle the investigation right.

I cried with these dialogues since I am a mother myself.
The famous dialogue of a parent who supports their kid's dreams no matter what...
Chasing a dream means a person also needs to build himself /herself up but still family must always be the fall back even if it becomes a success or failure.
