EC+AS and their big age gap relationship? We talking about related souls like them or age? I dont want look for more pairings and i believe we end this here. What is important? What they do and say, not what they look like

Anyways, on topic. Did you guys notice in the preview for E11 that there's a fight going on in Eugene's hotel room and even shots are fired through the hotel room door. I noticed two things about this ultra brief scene -
1) there's a very, very quick frame of a person in grey clothes fighting someone who looks a lot like Ae Shin when she is in her suit - her fair,feminine face is briefly visible in the muzzle flash when the gun she is trying to wrangle from the grey clothed figure goes off in the room.
2) the immediate next frame is that of a person who very much looks like Eugene in his trademark blue suit, falling and fighting with that same grey clothed assassin.
Speculation time -
First off, I think this scene will be in E12 and not in E11 because past three weeks have given us some preview scenes that have ended up airing later in other episodes.
Could Eugene and Ae Shin both be together in Room 304 when the assassin strikes? I would love it if they end up fighting together against that assassin but more than that I will be absolutely chuffed that the two are together in a scene - because even though they may be apart romantically for the time being, it is better than nothing to see them interact with each other/have more scenes with each other.
Preview 11 and thoughts
AS and Hina will fight in a duel (Glory Hotel). EC come and stop the fight.
I saw in one of the scenes that AS is standing in a pharmacy and thinking about something (EC told her something?). She has a wound on her lip so this is after this fight vs Hina.
HS comes to school, makes a fuss, gives AS her suit? (she guesses that he knows and this is the warning she talks about in one of the scenes when she was in palanquin?)
Assasin will strike when EC is alone in the room. AS will come when assasin run away or after this fight and see the room. They both planned to meet for some reason in his room.
Im sure that this is the same person who betrayed AS parents (he stayed all time Manchuria and was summoned and had mission kill EC).
He lose the picture and it will be the trail of the assasin. EC show AS photo. Someone noticed that AS does not know who her parents are? In one episode she wonders where she got her skills. Grandfather hid their picture and the truth?
In one of the scenes, AS is on the river and she is aiming gun at someone. HS followed her and talked with her.
Jang meets EC and asks for help (mission). I've already explained why AS went to the hotel and why RA needs help. My previous posts.

If anything, if Ae Sun's character would get a bigger exposure (so far, she appeared in one episode and disappears in the next two).. if she wasn't married, maybe her 'love interest' would be the ex-slave hunter (the pawnshop co-owner). Ae Shin's English teacher was the one smitten by Kyle when they accidentally met on the streets. Maybe.. if.. fated that Ae Shin did not end up with Eugene (hope not!), then some of the supporting 'couples' may have a bit of happy ending.. as consolation. Just my thoughts..

Aesun has not met Kyle yet, 10 episodes behind us (half). I think Japanese soldier avoided the execution (agreement between Joseon and Japan, We didnt saw the execution. Why? Maybe they killed someone else and Japanese soldier leave or hide to silence the matter). He will appear during the future battle RA vs Japan and die from the hands of the EC or AS?

If Ae Sun became the mistress of the minister, it'll definitely be bad news for Ae Shin's well-known grandfather. Ae Sun's biggest flaw is her attitude and addiction to gambling. But then, apart from Gunner Jang, no one knows (yet) about Ae Shin and Eugene which would create even bigger scandal.. for obvious reasons. Ae Sun and Ae Shin are cousins, if not mistaken she's the daughter of the archery expert aunt. Hee Sung called her cousin-in-law when they introduced themselves at the pawnshop.
Another nice fan artwork, simple but sweet. A compilation of these would make a nice coloring book for Kdrama fans.. like, why not.

If my theory with EC leaving and return Joseon is correct, change of law by the king, acceptance AS+EC relationship (mostly among ordinary people and low-born and few noble families allied with Go)... part of the aristocracy may not accept this fact and husband AeSun annul the marriage because he cant imagine having in his family (cousins in law) a former slave.
How will AeSun get interested in Kyle after marriage annulment and change her bad behavior and becoming in future better person? EC became known, respected despite his low origin. Kyle is a major in the US Army and gives the impression of being someone from a good, wealthy American family. He is also handsome, funny and people like him.

Aesun+Kyle (they have not met yet but I'm counting on this relationship for some reasons in future,
grandfather is against contacts with the Westerners and he will have an American in his family Kyle and former slave EC)
Hina+HS (father traitor and pro-japanese + terrifying grandfather/family)

left+right hand AS (servants)
All the time I think that Hina father poisoned her Japanese husband (her poison could be detected but she is convinced that it is her job). He didnt know that he gave the daughter to the sadist (her scars).
He wanted marry her well because mother and daughter were from Joseon (origin).
Father hides her mother (she still alive and hide in Joseon) because wife and daughter are the only things he cares about. He cant be completely villain because he is too boring and that would give him a human expression.

she gambling and have sly personality against AeShin (newspaper, her parents were not officialy married, speaks with superiority but AeShin use riposts and calm down her)

Time to change the subject
I think EC will leave Joseon (You should keep moving forward. I am taking a step back - EC say this AS in preview 11 episode, leaving and return is the 12 and 13 episode?) and they force him to return after a year (Kyle is dying? xD they will come up with illness?). I have my own theory of what he will see when he return to Joseon for the third time. Why so much time? Changing the country is a long process. Joseon is a backward country and loses the fight against modern countries like Japan, USA, GB, Germany (Prussia).
However, it is too late. We all know history. Japan annex Joseon few years later.
AS will not give up and make changes in Joseon. EC will not know because he will cut off all information from Joseon.
AS will convince her grandfather and his allies to free slaves (servants?) and pay them. The law that was approved some years ago was only on paper because those with low birth were nothing and had nothing in Joseon.
The king hear about this and summon AS. She tell him why she is doing this and that she loves EC. King is convinced (EC reject his offer - drill instructor in Royal Military Academy - deal between king and AS) and changes the law in the country, announces what EC has done (document, traitor) and EC become hero? HS learns what EC done and a few other things. HS and AS cancel the engagement. AS announces EC her fiance. EC return to Joseon after a year and is shocked?
There must be a revolution because EC and AS relationship is forbidden in this country right now and this is the only solution.

I changed my mind. It will be Kyle because EC saved his life once during the battle with Spain. He'll do something crazy because all hand is in the blood. Kyle will save EC live this time?
They are not only friends but more like brothers (this explains very sad reaction)
(McInnis needs a hero death because he was a villain last time? Or he will be seriously injured and still alive?)

Only two men are close to EC (Kyle and Joseph) but would he cry so much? He is a soldier and he saw many friends who were killed or seriously wounded in battle. Only a beloved person would lead him to such despair. Why someone in Joseon want kill a missionary like Joseph? I cant find a reason but maybe writers came up with something interesting.

AS and Hina during the duel. AS will go to the hotel and Hina will realize that the stranger has been slipped in again. Hina will pull off the mask and find out it's AS. EC appear at this momment and stop the fight. Hina pull of her mask and reveal herself to AS.
I think that AS wanted to say goodbye to the EC before the dangerous mission because she may not come back.
He started to reject her and wants to go abroad and she dont want to give up and wants to stop him. She dont know that RA asked him for help and EC will be the commander of the unit (we do not know what is the mission but maybe it has a connection with Japan and the transport of weapons or something else that guerrillas do?). It seems to me that RA found out that the EC wants to leave Joseon and the AS is in a bad mental state and can die in action.
Sometimes the series is predictable but there are still a lot of unknowns and hidden meanings.

I think that HS pretends to be a gambler, he does not care about anything and has no purpose in life (cover for his true identity?). This is the best theory for me about him and his role. Of course, he had no knowledge of everything and about his fiance until now. He is smart, he quickly guessed the connections between AS and limping man
All the time I think he spied in Japan and is one of RA leaders or he has an important position. I dont understand everything but the sins of his family are a burden for him. He does not know the whole truth but is aware of his grandfather's bad deeds.

I have a different theory but it's more crazy. DM was in the army (Japanese?). Look how he moves in Jemulpo and looks for a good position to shot. He is trained and uses topography of the area. EC find out about his past and experience (he knew names japanese sergeants). EC was behind Aeshin showing signals (morse code or similar with mirror? he show up only for few seconds and hide) and aimed his gun at DM (she only looked at DM and coudnt see EC). We again dont see all scenes in Jemulpo. DM said EC he was not good with guns but he gave the perfect shot in the leg.

Im not fluent in english. Where was EC? My thoughts about this. We only saw what they wanted show us. I think that they reveal a few scenes that were previously cut out to complete the story (sooner or later - they add flashbacks). DM said EC was in Jemulpo.
DM changed his target to her leg (Aeshin) because EC wanted it and aimed his gun at him. Why? He wanted scary her and force her leave RA after this experience (RA is dangerous and u can be hurt or die in action). EC coudnt shoot myself (AS is woman he loves) but used DM.

DM + AS. Date 15th
Why I have the impression that the writers cut off again the scene where AS orders the servants to save DM's parents? AS show him the house/place where they live now? More than any money he lost. But he dont want to see them/her because of shame and what has he become? Perhaps only mother survived beating and father died and knows what her son actually does?
Only the AS will greet and talk to his mother like a friend and he will watch in secret? Will he hear any words about himself?
Something must be a spark through which the DM will become a better person and join RA in the future? (growing up)
A new goal? Change Joseon where low-born will live happily and in prosperity.
Regaining respect in the eyes of the mother.
AS has already got a topic for reflection (conversation with EC and her master). Time for DM and change his attitude (he saved the life of the rebel man so he has moments when he hesitates)
