    Me too. I was happy our "non-emotional" Hyun Soo went off on Moo Jin about his lusting over Hae Soo. This was a guy who dumped her in the worst way and said the worst things you can think of to her. He abandoned her when she needed him the most. He had the audacity to be drooling over her in the presence of her brother after 18 years. He has yet to give a proper apology to her.He also hasnt properly apologised to Hyun Soo for the past bullying.He excused it as teenage childish behaviour.

    I was rolling my eyes so hard when Hae Soo was apologising to him when they first met because, her father turned out to be a serial killer and how it must have been really hard for him. And he stood there and said nothing. Hae Soo is already carrying alot of guilt because her brother has had a difficult life for her sake.he should have comforted her.

    But I cant hate him completely because unlike the other villagers.He is not so prejudiced and is willing to help him clear his name.I think he will play a big role in Hyun Soo's recovery and help save Hyun Soo's marriage.He is funny too(This actor's comedic timing is pure gold).

    Yes, I find myself quite irritated by his actions in Episode 7 to 8. I get he doesn't like Hyun Su but he's no better. It's like he was forgetting how he bullied him in the past and the way he treated Hae Soo. And he still has the nerve to drool over her after all these years. I also don't buy that "because I'm young" excuse. And even say it's because he's young blah blah, did he ever apologize for that? No. So before he can ask some apology from Hyun Su, maybe he should do it first since he is the "normal" one compared to Hyun Su.

    But yeah, at the end of Episode 8, he got redeemed before my eyes with the way Hae Soo handled the situation. But let's see how he acts from now on. That scene when he said, "Why are you so pretty?", it's funny in the BTS because Lee Joon Gi was like, "Huh, I'm pretty?" 43.gif

    I’m still curious why the parents put real Baek Hee Sung in a coma. Especially because it didn’t seem like he was injured in the accident.

    It was implied in Ep7-8 that the mother had something to do with it. Remember Hyun Su asked that same question to the father, he was the one who got into an accident but why is the driver in a coma. Probably in a fit of anger, the mother did something to her son, for God knows what reason.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also, curious as to why the mother was acting like this when she learned that Eun Ha is doing a homework (?) that is quite advanced for her. It's telling me that she had this relationship with his son, since the real Baek Hee Sung seems to be an intelligent person. Perhaps as parents, they've been pushing him to be the best he can be academically but that may have put a strain on their relationship as well.
    ezgif-com-video-to-gif.gif
    I also hope Hyun Su getting these chest pains don't mean anything. Every time he feels Ji Won is so close at finding out who he is, he feels this pain.
    ezgif-com-video-to-gif-1.gifezgif-com-video-to-gif-2.gif
    I wanna think that's just it, that the fear of losing his "now" makes him hurt. I don't want to think the writer deliberately put it there for another angst we actually don't need right now. And not some kind of repercussions of his car accident before.
    I agree @lightbringer06! I actually think that.... Baek Hee Sung aka Do Hyun Soo might be unable to say "I love you" because he doesn't know the meaning behind those words? Just my guess.... I still haven't watched episode 7/8 (as I promised because I had no time), so bear with me. I will get back to that when I watched those episodes. But that was my thought when I saw this scene from the episode.
    Yes ~ It's pretty clear to us viewers at this point that he does. If he doesn't understand the feeling, naturally, he won't know the word for it. This drama would probably end with him finally recognizing what an emotion would feel like.
  3. Watching Episode 8 while eating is not a good idea, I couldn't even chew my food properly while watching those sad scenes ezgif-com-video-to-gif.gif
    So, Ji Won only wanted ONE reason to forgive Hyun Su. And I'm pretty sure that would be LOVE. Yet the sad thing about it is that she personally won't hear those words from him. She is willing to set aside her own feelings for the sake of their daughter, Eun Ha. I totally feel her pain when she told Eun Ha how much she loves her right after hearing those words from Hyun Su.
    Now, Ji Won is a smart cookie, she knows Hyun Su has a personality disorder, so instead of focusing on the words coming out of his mouth, she should look past it and more on his actions. Because let's admit it, Hyun Su isn't a man of his words but a man of action 24.gif . But I guess the deceit and lies isn't something easily forgiven as well.
    Hae Su, I believe, will serve as the medium between Ji Won and Hyun Su. She knows his brother better than he knows himself, as she is able to tell that he has changed.
    I guess the realization on Hyun Su's part of how he truly feels about Ji Won and his family would be this .... I mean, just look at those tears. We're finally get to see him cry too ~
    ezgif-com-video-to-gif-1.gif
    I really have this love and hate relationship with Moo Jin.. LOL...
    ezgif-com-video-to-gif.gif
    He is so biased against Hyun Su in Ep 8 that I wanna spank him... aigoo... and Hyun Su's reaction is just so me ~~ But I'm glad that Hyun Su told him what he really wanted so Moo Jin could at least understand him and his purpose.
    Now with the real Baek Hee Sung waking up, looks like this is gonna get much messier. How could Hyun Su protect his identity as Hee Sung now?
    So some things were cleared up and some things added more to some questions...
    = Hae Su was the one who killed the village man and Hyun Su protected her -- CHECK
    = The mother is the cause of the real BHS's comatose. But what did she actually do? And why is she willing to end his suffering now? Why now after all those years?
    = The voice in that recorder is probably Hyun Su's mom... guess he finds solace just hearing her voice that he gets so mad at anyone touching it.
    = Did Do Min Seok really committed suicide? Or did the accomplice has something to do with it?
    = Curious as to why Do Min Seok would make Hyun Su recite the Myeangsim Bogam during his childhood. It looks to me like it's a sort of punishment if he doesn't do his biddings. I looked it up because it might be somewhat significant and it was a book titled "The Precious Mirror of Bright Mind" and it emerged to provide relief from strife and share universal wisdom to guide human relations and balance one's mind. Koreans have taken comfort from this book-nowadays as well as the recent and ancient past.
    Pervert mode activated. He's getting horny. Can't deny his hidden desire.
    The actor did say in their interview that his character is kind of 'whipped' for Hae Soo. I don't blame the guy :kitty:. And then the comments were all like, Mr. Reporter, please don't die.. HAHA...
  5. When I first saw that the bed scene is already in Ep. 7, I was like, yo, they are really making up for the lack of romance in Criminal Minds. Indeed, such a dream come true for Lee Joon Ki.
    :popcornjackson:
    And oh, I did notice his chest is so red too ... HAHA... since this is his first bed scene in a drama (is that right, chingu-deuls?), and with MCW, maybe he's a bit flustered, no ? :twerk2:
    I can't believe that they made love despite the suspicion Ji Won has of Hee Sung, atta, girl B). I was expecting that scene to happen when everything get cleared up or probably only a flashback during their marriage, but not. Guess we might see another Eun Ha in the process and Eun Ha is gonna be a noona/unnie soon ~~ :fun:. Now, that's gonna be another angst I wanna see.
    I am curious too. She said something I cant remember which episode, she was bantering with her husband.She said she has something in her past that if her husband knew..he would be shocked.I wonder what that event was..maybe that motivated her to join the police force?
    Can't remember the episode as well but iirc, it goes something like they were having a conversation, I think, Ji Won was saying Hee Sung is a nice person that he would probably wouldn't be able to take her complicated past, something along those lines. Idk, I might have to check it again but I quite remember it because that statement caught my attention too that made me curious about JW's past.
    My brain is working 24/7 and I still need to sort out my own theories and thoughts on this drama. And it's almost Tuesday, so not long until Wednesday and episode 7! Which will probably change all my theories again.
    This is why at this point, I'm refraining to think too much because I might be wrong anyways if after an episode, another new theory comes up again... I'll just let it all unfold 42.gif
    2. I think CJW needs to spend more time with her daughter and husband.
    4. I like CJW hairstyle :heart:
    I also think we need to see more of their moments when they got married. Although I like how they're giving us bits and pieces of their courtship but I also do wanna see how they were as a married couple, which I'm sure we might get in the upcoming episodes. I think Eunha liking her dad more than the mom is because of the role reversal, the child is supposed to be closer to the mom if it was the norm one.
    Yes, I did notice the change in Ji Won's hairstyle, it's like it was intentional when she learned the truth about Hyun Su. Which means perhaps some things may change as well.
    Anyways, can't wait for Episode 7 later ~~... be looking forward to your gifs again @jeonghyang . Thank you in advance ezgif-com-video-to-gif.gif
    Interesting on incest theory but I don't think Korean drama is ready for that...it's too much for propriety. you know how strict they are on these matters...it'll b too much to handle.
    Totally agree, Korea isn't ready for that kind of theme yet. Just like in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, in the original Japanese version, the main couple was intimately involved only to find out in the end they're actually siblings but the K-version was modified. If this is a J-drama, it would be plausible :)
    @partyon How does a re-watch party works? Like how can one join and what actually happens? Forgive my ignorance since I am not really familiar with all the activities here in Soompi  ezgif-com-video-to-gif-7.gif
    I also love that even though Baek Hee Sung didn't say everything he told Ji Won back then that he is twisted and violent and that he is seeing things. She still was ready to give him a chance and to be with him. It's a decision she made. Maybe a bit naive but in the end she made the decision on her own and based on what he told her. Even though his identity is a complete lie.
    I like this a lot to be honest. That she was willing to give him a chance and to teach him. :D
    Totally agree ~ Hee Sung outrightly said to her what kind of person he is and yet Ji Won still believes what she see. Which I definitely like that that is how she is approaching her knowledge that Hee Sung is Hyun Su. The care and love is there when she said to Nam Soon Kil's wife that there's never a witness to Hyun Su killing anyone as many claim to be.... she is giving him the benefit of the doubt... innocent until proven guilty... but when she said she'll make sure Hyun Su gets punished for whatever crime he committed, Idk if this is a good thing tho or not -_-
    || Episode 6 Ratings || Nationwide 3.615 Seoul 4.030
    wow congratulation they always number 1,..this rating is high when it comes to the late time.
    I'm glad that even though this is in a very late time slot, it's still consistent on holding on to the average 3% rating which I know is quite hard to achieve even in an earlier slot so I wonder if the rating will be higher if it's not airing so late at night. Curious why mostly the Thursday episode gets the higher rating.. haha...
    it is going to be a tough road for ji won -- she still very much loves this man; despite him telling her the truth in a dazed medication, she didn't run off to the police. she was waiting for him to wake up and her first reaction to seeing him was tears and a hug. but at the same time, when her brain turns on, she is wary of him and is worried that her worst fears and suspicions might actually be true.... so this is going to be one angsty melodrama of a love story! bring it on! who else is bored with regular romances. hahahahhaha....
    You and me both ~~ nuff of child's play romances, we need an angsty romance, well, at least in a drama ezgif-com-video-to-gif-6.gif
    4) Do Min Seok's Dog harness and Do Hyun Soo's pet dog - unknown
    Now that it was mentioned in Ep. 6 of Hyun Su having a dog for 10 years makes this very intriguing... of what could be the significance of the dog harness that Hyun Su always sees his father holding. Is he only seeing/imagining it after knowing that his father was the serial killer who uses it... or there could be something else more?
    On a side note, don't know if you noticed but we now have at least three fish key rings out there.
    Wait, there are three? I thought there's only two, the fish key rings of the taxi driver and his wife (whose ring was given to Hyun Su by his sister). Which I believe was that one in Hyun Su's bag that Nam Soon Kil's wife gave Ji Won.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    My feelings on the episodes are almost explained and shared by most of you so I'm not gonna repeat them. Like many of you pointed out, I know we still have lots of questions that will eventually get answered as we go on so I'm not gonna worry too much about it as well. But, I just have to say that I feel like the real Baek Hee Sung also might be someone who has a connection with all the killings? What if he is the accomplice?... hmmm... that conversation he is having on the phone in his car before he run over Hyun Su tells me so. Just why is he in a coma, though, is the one-million dollar question. And at least he didn't run away after hitting HS too... hmmmm.... ezgif-com-video-to-gif-5.gif

    Anyways, can we also admire the writers throwing in this scene of the cops pulling each other's hairs... never seen a boss do anything like that and even getting scolded :loolz:. I'm glad that they're putting some comedic scenes to balance the angst we are getting.

    ezgif-com-video-to-gif.gif

    I know that Hee Sung and Ji Won's relationship might not be the same as before now with all the revelation, but these future scenes is what I'm holding on as of now to balance out all the heartbreak we might experience along the way...

    ezgif-com-video-to-gif-1.gif -- this looks pretty much like a confrontation between them, probably with all the secrets and past out in the open...but then we also see this deep love and care they have for each other.
