    But what struck me most in this episode was the reason Bo Song thought to herself when she rejected Cheoljong.

     

    Can anybody tell me what So Bong meant by this? She can’t love Cheoljong back because she’s a man or because she feels guilty by taking So Yong’s place? I’m very intrigued by this!

     

    I’m actually surprised So Bong admitted it to herself that she liked it with Cheoljong. She even said she liked it more than before. The way I see it she basically admitted that sex in a woman’s body with a man she was insanely attracted to was better than all the sex Jang Bong Hwan had with women. If anybody still think that Kim So Yong took over the body at that moment, I hope this is a proof that So Bong was still very much conscious.
     

    I think the main problem won’t be So Bong’s sexuality crisis but the issue with their identity. It’s one thing to admit that you’re attracted to a man, but living like someone else for the rest of your life is something bigger. I think So Bong feels like a fraud, that’s why she can’t accept Cheoljong’s feelings for her.

     

    Cheoljong’s confession also made it pretty clear which personality he likes - he likes Jang Bong Hwan. Even if she was the most flawed person in the world he will like her... Oh my heart...

    SB is conflicted with his/her emotions and this is apparently clear. What is his/her motivation in saying that CJ and SB have no future together? What does it mean for him to live as KSY. 

     

    SB told the King, 'that KSY died that day' and SB also told himself/herself that she cannot do it. 

     

    Remember as KSY's memories flow into SB's mind he realizes how much she was in pain and how much the people in the palace wronged her. SB could be living with a guilty mind, hence telling himself, he cannot do it (live in KSY's body and be happy) knowing she was miserable in hers. It is possible that in SB's mind he is taking away the life that KSY should be living including to be happy with the King. For SB, it is possible that his mind is still delving into the fact that KSY sacrificed her life so she doesn't have to betray CJ. 

     

    As of the moment, the most mysterious character in the story is KSY. We are given snippets of her memory and nothing else. We do not know if she acts the same as SB, is she mischievous, but we know that she is a very caring person and kind.

     

    I am hoping that the coming episodes will shed light on her personality as well. So we can see if what we are seeing is purely SB or KSY also possesses the same trait at SB and was just repressed due to fear.

     

    My 2 cents.

    Unless I am mistaken, hair ornaments usually represent status among the King's women in the palace, remember the phoenix pin that SB was not given. SB is the queen however, we have to remember she is 'untouched' still by the king. In some sageuk, the internal palace usually takes note of the women the king had relations with, it is even recorded when it happened. I think the colors of the hanbok is the same as well, she is technically allowed to wear red as it is related to the king (kings always wear red  with gold decorations formally). The red and gold is for the King, I haven't seen anyone else among the concubines with the Queen included to wear red with gold embellishments. JHW can wear red since she is a royal concubine but hers has decorations in white. Since it is confirmed that the Queen and King had actually demolished the 'no touching' rule, she is probably allowed to wear more hair ornaments befitting her status, not only as queen but as potential mother of the crown prince.

     

    But then this is all speculation on my part. So forgive me, if I am wrong.

    I bet after episode 15 Cheoljong will know, what the queen means when she asks him if he wants to eat ramyeon!:sipsboba: It will be something new to learn from his queen after all!

     

    Cheoljong (I think he didn't really want to see her cry, she was teary-eyed) from saying

    Kings do not lie (at Sobong's house gate) to his showing him crossing his fingers behind his back! The queen is also transforming the very proper king into something different entirely. :Pandabulous:

    That was powerful acting from Shin Hye Sun.

    I don't like to compare the male lead and female leads. Both of them are fantastic as their portrayal of The King and Queen.

    I have a suspicion the death that the monk predicted could be SB's father, suicide {for what its worth, he seems very remorseful}.

    I really love the way, he calls her, his voice goes really really gentle calling her. I don't think he even realizes it. His voice goes really soft and gentle when he is speaking about her or talking to her.

    I do not think Cheoljong even notices but whenever he calls SB, My Queen, his voice goes really really gentle and soft. On the preview while he was calling her, his voice was so gentle as if calling a very tenderly loved person. 

     

    I cannot wait for later!!!

    A queen candidate, or concubine of the queen may bring their own personal servant into the palace just one or two I think. All the rest may be from the entire pool of palace maid. Hong Yeon did say that she was with the queen for quite some time, and Hwa Jin's maid was with her since she was very young and O Wol was brought into the palace by Hwa Jin.

    Episode 12 Reaction!

     

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

     

    That was soooo epic!!! I was going through a rollercoaster of emotions between laughing at the kitchen scene, angry at the forest scene, and mind blown at the banquet!

     

    But I was in agony at that scene between Cheoljong and So yong when the bomb hit him, I think he was worried about her getting hurt as well.:(

     

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Where is next week?!!!!

    If they are indeed a couple and want to wait for the right time to confirm and announce, I’m really really really concerned about Wook.  I don’t think he’s gonna make it....:joy:

    Now see this one, to me I think the future projects that Wookie will accept would have us all thinking, did Hyunnie help him pick this? Or for every script he turned down, we are gonna wonder why it didn't pass LOL. Or if he gets a new project, we are gonna watch it and remember that it could possibly be Hyunnie approved, so we are gonna check out the kiss scenes or bed scenes if there are any, and see how he will perform on this. Roflmao! The reporters could also do that, ask him at his every project if he has checked out the script with Hyunnie :lol: this interview will haunt him for his entire career! LOL!

    My two cents on this recent 'nuclear bomb' that we have received. :lol:

        It has literally blown my mind out into space! And believe it or not, I am still gathering my thoughts. My boy Wookie was calm and collected as he stood at the gates of Cheorwon. I have seen that his hiatus from the K-biz gave him some respite. He looked like some confident military man:glasses: who is out to conquer the world.

        Suddenly, this reporter asks him this hanging question, that was left when he entered into service, will Hyunnie visit him at Cheorwon? And BOOM! This confident and collected military man was reduced to a flustered, almost giddy persona:flushed: who rambled off his answer without considering the repercussions of his response. LOL! His demeanour was like a  guy who was asked about a very special person in his life that his entire aura has changed. He smiled so much that his eyes crinkled. He may have shown some nervousness but all it all, it didn't seem as if he was in any way uncomfortable about the topic at hand. 

     

    Now here is the dilemma that I cannot wrap my head around in. His statements were so jumbled up together that it was obviously clear that he was talking about two different scenarios.

     

        He (Wookie) didn't consider it visiting per se, he said that they saw each other at the musical and talked briefly after. Okay granted that, the next question was, did he tell his army pals about it. He said no, because the system only allowed the visitor to see who they want to visit (?). I got lost in translation here. But moving on, I was like huh? What the heck is he talking about? He mentioned a system, I didn't know there was a system that existed in meet and greet at musicals. :smirk: Then he continued to ramble on about her helping him with scripts, was this the musical scripts (?) but he himself debunked it and said it was for future projects. :lol:. I didn't even know when they had time to study scripts if they only met briefly, so there was another time for them when they studied it? One cannot say you studied something if the meeting was very brief was it?  Chincha, this boy! I dunno what to think, and say except that he is literally gone, the moment her name was mentioned, he was like a star that shined and blinked so bright in the sky that it was undeniable. Was he subtly, wait erase the subtleness,  openly telling us that Hyunnie had and will have a bit of a hand in deciding which dramas he will take or accept?:grin:

     

       And amidst all these, I cannot wrap it around my head, if this was how their relationship goes, be it as friends or more than friends, it certainly is off to a good start. I can see that he trusts her judgement and despite the age gap, her opinion seem to rank high on his list.  I  was way too excited to see where the road takes them. I can delulu that I wish they would be marching down the aisle *sshhh you delulus* but I cannot really say what is in their future. Only that it looks promising. We the Namji shippers don't have to do anything at all but wait and see. They are the ones steering this ship. It seems that they need no help from us! :love:
