Ahhh, I cannot wait for the subs. I was so relieved seeing the reunion and all the scenes for Episode 19 only to switch to a nervous wreck once more after seeing the preview. The King and Queen have to survive! THEY MUST! Fans will riot if this will end tragically.
I guess I was right about that document that he made both Jo and Kim Clans sign. It will take away the power both clans and give power to Cheoljong. His last act of protection was not him dying for SY but the document that will remove all those who threaten SB's life from their power.

You have to remember that BI was never a Kim in the first place, so it is possible that during his own integration to the Kim clan, it was SY all the way. And if you go back to what he did for SY in the well, he was also risking his life trying to get CJ out of the well because SY asked him to.
I would like to believe that somehow, SY is way over and above everyone in the Kim Clan for BI. Precisely why he said to his Father, if there is anyone who tries to kill SY, he (BI) will slit their throat.
BI's promise to the GQD is prophetic in a sense, she will never have to fight for the throne again, he could just be planning remove her from accessing it altogether by killing her or exiling her away from the palace.
The entire drama has been about subterfuges and counterplots. The Kim Clans and Jo Clans were plotting against the King and Queen. BI joined both clans so he gets into the know of the plans, he may not care about the fate of the King but he does care greatly about SB.
Remember there is a very thin line between love and hate and another thing, Love doesn't exactly disappear in a snap, even if he gets angry with the person he loves.

We also have to take into account that although SB is in SY's body, JBH was in special services, he has had special training mentally. SB has JBH's soul, so it can be also normal that SB doesn't have SY's fears. SY is delicate, JBH isn't. The jumping and scaling walls is just normal for SB since he has had training, mentally in his mind, he knows he is able to do it, hence no fear or no worries.
SB maybe developing care and love towards the baby but you have to remember its all in the mindset. SB maybe girly in other ways, but he is also manly in certain ways especially mentally. Although SB keeps getting warnings from BI, never faltered, because JBH's mind is mentally trained to deal with chaotic situations, or even dangerous possibilities. It is what they train in the army the mind and the body.

Maybe I am a fool for thinking like this, I am hoping still for some sort of redemption for BI. I was wondering what his motivation was when he made both Jo and Kim clans sign that treasonous document, wherein it is possible to implicate both Jo and Kim clans in an attempt to dethrone the king or at least remove him from power. (My mind won't let me rest until, this piece of document is explained).
What was his motivation? He made all of them sign, including himself, as it is he was the current highest Kim in power, does that make him a representative of the clan(?) Is he for some reason, I am thinking, trying to implicate both clans in an attempt to dethrone the King and would therefore allow the said King and grant him power to remove the current left and right council, the moment he returns to power?
Ponder on what he said to CJ when they faced off in the library. BI was only saying one thing loud and clear for CJ and that made him pause, the queen and the baby is in danger.
My wishful thinking is that since SB already rejected BI and is now refusing to accept his protection. BI will give CJ the power to protect the queen, remember what BI told CJ in the pavilion, power is everything and he believes that CJ does not have the power to keep SB safe. It is possible that because he believed that CJ doesn't have the power to protect the queen, he (BI) will give him (CJ) the power to protect SB, one that she will not reject after all SB has been very clear that the only protection that she is willing to accept is from the King.
It is possible that BI will remove the power from both clans, keep them under wraps and unable to lift a hand against the King in the future so the King can protect the queen and the baby.
I remember BI face when the ministers were talking about SB outside the gisaeng house. His face was showing pure contempt! It is possible that he will do everything that is possible so both clans will not be able to touch a hair on SB head and of course, the baby as well.
My 2 cents pondering.

Fate plays an extraordinary hand in their lives. If we look back, let us see what has happened from the time So Young jumped to kill herself. We have 2 souls who extraordinarily met in the parallel plane, (ghost plane - my theory), one does not want to live (this be SY) while Bong Hwan clearly said to himself, 'I want to live.' , since its the soul wants, Fate may have decided to give them what they want but it didn't mean that it will be exactly how they want, hence soul switch. SY story, I believe ended when she decided to end it, Fate gave her what she wants, at the same time, giving BH a chance to redeem himself become a better person, live a better life.
Some people wants a closure in SY's life, not to be cruel or something (don't bash me please), she did close her life, she killed herself. If ever SY did end up in BH body who is in a coma and could die, it would still be in line with what she wants, right? She would still die or she did die at the time that BH lived in the Joseon era.
People wants a resolution in BH's life in the future. In reality, a lot of people die without resolving their issues in life and have multiple issues hanging in the precipice as they died as well. The writers could be banking on that idea, or is it just me? LOL!
I believe that their story (SY and BH) revolves exactly just between the two souls who 'decided' on what to do with their lives, one discarded it while the other decided to 'live it'. Bear in mind, the horrendous experiences BH is experiencing living life as SY, but it was his choice, 'I have decided to live in this time'., vague but I took it as it is his choice, he will live as the woman he had become.
The rest of the characters in it are mere stage players who are included SY and are consequential to BH's choice to live.
My 2 cents. (No Flames please)
I wish it was Friday, so tomorrow is Mr. Queen weekend.

My out of this world theory regarding Byeong In.... he has only 2 paths to take because of his love for So Young, take the path of revenge against the king since the king did attempt to kill SB (remember what he said to his father, he will slit the throat of whoever tries to kill SB), this is why he is so angry aside from his own emotional turmoil and jealousy, or take the path of a protector of a love one (remember, BI was the one who help SB to try and free CJ from the well) again let us go back what he said, he is the queen's person. In the preview, i think we saw the GDQ try to order Byeong In to kill the SB. And the question is, what will he do in that situation? Is he angry or jealous enough to kill her especially now he will find out she is also pregnant? The historical well episode could foreshadow what Byeong In will be, SB did say You are a good person, Orabeoni! His choices could still work under that premise since every part of this drama seems to be a foreshadowing of some sort. So it is probable that BI will still choose to protect SB and her baby rather than focus solely on trying to upstage the king and it will be easier since BI now controls both clans.
I am hoping that that chaotic scene at the queen's quarters with the squad including BI will be a foreshadowing of what his choice is. Protect his queen, protect SB even if she no longer wants it. She is the very reason why he came into the palace in the first place. He realized that SB/SY was in danger and the King does not have the power to protect her.
I hope I am right. I don't want BI to be irredeemable. After he is not as lost at HJ is. Byeong In is motivated by love still, he may be angry but he has not done anything evil in the name of love, yet.

That couldn’t have been true love...Cheoljong is surely a better man than most. I thought he would get really mad at her because of the well incident and the ledger but he blamed himself for her actions?!
