Watching the BTS of LMH practicing his fight scenes especially the ones in the mud, you have to give him credit for making the fight scenes so authentic.He really kicked high and he fell body down into the mud hard. You have to think it hurt. It looked so good and you can see it was real not special effects. He looked so lithe jumping over the window and jumping up high in the mud to kick his opponents. I don't think any other actor can beat him at fighting skills after just a few months of practicing. I know there are other K-actors that have fighting skills but they learned the skills for many years whether judo or taekwando, etc but LMH could do such a good job after a few months of training. I think the BTS made me very impressed with his hard work and dedication to his art.
Hi @CallieP, this is my first time watching CH. But I see snippets of his CH fight scenes around, so I'm looking forward to seeing those, in context with the story.
I am also in awe at the BTS of his fight scenes. He really did those scenes himself. I think it helped that he is athletic and into sports (as what he mentioned in the video posted by @CarolynH), but yes, it would be quite hard to learn those fighting skills, especially for film or tv, since aside from the techniques, they also have to consider the art of executing/"choreography" for the screen.
Speaking of the video above, the MC was teasing him about his outfit. In CH episode 2, I noticed similar outfits, with rather low necklines.

I can't help but rewatch this video. LMH is really multi-talented...he sings live! And very well at that. All those dancing and jumping are quite hard to do together with live singing, so other actors who are not really singers by profession, would opt to do lip-syncing during live shows. But not our bb! It's a joy to watch him enjoy entertaining his fans.

SpoilerI'm loving Yoon Sung's kickass character here. Oohh, that muddy fight scene...I'm glad there's a lot of such scenes to look forward to, which show off our bb's hot physique and badass moves.
I like how the story builds up the relationship of Lee Yoon Sung and Kim Nana. They look good together, and their interactions are rather cute and amusing. I like Nana's kickass character, too. No wonder that on their car ride, she got Yoon Sung staring at her in the rearview mirror. Haha.
I also like the scene at the blue house, when Yoon Sung recognized Nana. As well as the scene when he was teasing her about her first kiss. Oh, I just like it when he does those "teasing" scenes. It brings out those boyish grins which makes we want to watch them over and over.

He is more than just the looks and the talent - he's got a lot of good inner qualities that you all have mentioned. So kudos to our bb!

Disclaimer...this is the first time I'd be watching City Hunter.
One episode in, and I'm liking the story. I'm into this type of genre, and with LMH kicking a$$, I think this will be a treat.
I'm liking that he grew mischievous, despite his upbringing. I think Mu Yeol is blinded by revenge, that he even kidnapped and raised Poo Chai to execute that revenge.
I also like the scene where he was eating the food that Bae Shik Joong cooked. I guess it's Korean food (I think I see kimchi), and it's the first time that he's eaten such, considering that they are in Thailand? Oh the joy when he was eating all those food. I'm liking Shik Joong's character, too. Him being Yoon Sung's side kick would be interesting.
Yes, he throws with his left and shoots with his right hand. Now that you mentioned it @CarolynH, I'd be watching closely at his hands. Haha. It's his legs that I'm aware of, that he kicks with his left since his right leg is injured.
Having said that, I'm looking forward to his fight scenes. His character is a lot different from that of BOF and PT, so seeing him do those stunts would be something different.
Him witnessing Muangsuri's death, Mu Yeol getting hit by a land mine, and knowing about his real father and his death, did mark a turning point in his life. Perfect plot for revenge. But I do hope we still get to see that cheeky and mischievous Poo Chai in him.
Ooh..those pink pants. Not every guy could pull of wearing pink shirts, let alone pink pants. But Yoon Sung did it very well.
About his hair, honestly, he could wear it whatever way, and he'd still look great. Haha, me and my bias.
And finally, his acting. I've always been impressed with how he complements his lines with his facial expressions and body language. He can easily convince me with his character, whether he's playing a 17-year old cheeky kid or a 24-year old serious man out for revenge.
It's amazing how he tops surveys and SNS searches, and gets millions of likes in his recent IG posts, despite his hiatus. It's as if the Hallyu King has never left for MS.

Lee Min Ho was spotted with his fellow trainees at the military training center.

The actor is currently carrying out the 4-week basic military training portion of his mandatory military service, despite the fact that he already began his duties as a public service worker back on May 12. After his basic training comes to an end, Lee Min Ho will continue to serve at the government office in Gangnam until May 11 of 2019.

And down to the final episode!
Jin Ho's risk of confronting Gae In's father about their family's past and his failure on the Sanggojae, actually paid off. So Gae In and his father got to finally talk and iron things out. Hence the satisfaction of Jin Ho on seeing their reconciliation.
It's a good thing that Teacher Park was not blinded by his altercation with Jin Ho. He gave him a chance and listened to Do Bin.
I like Do Bin's character. I remember reading on one of the comments in the early episodes that he would have an important part on Jin Ho and Gae In's relationship. I wondered then on how that would come into play, and now I see. He's such a magnanimous man, that despite his feelings for Jin Ho (and all the awkwardness), he chose to set that aside and give the opportunities for Jin Ho and Gae In to patch things up in times of trouble. And he has also given Jin Ho the breaks he needed for his career.
For a while, I thought Young Sun and Sang Jun ended up together, with both of them looking at the ultrasound pictures. But then I wondered about the state of the relationship of Young Sun and her husband. And then there was the husband pulling Sang Jun's ear. And he is scary. Haha. But it's cute that he still thinks Sang Jun is gay, so that Sang Jun and his unnie could still hang out.
The rain scene with Jin Ho. It made me remember the umbrella scene from LOTBS. But when I saw In Hee holding the umbrella, I changed my mind. Haha. Poor In Hee, taking every chance to be with Jin Ho, and getting rejected everytime. Probably why she said she hates Gae In so much. But just when I thought she already left the villa because of her resentment of Gae In, she actually waited to tell her of Jin Ho's wherabouts, and then finally conceded.
Jin Ho sure is upright, he wouldn't even consider Do Bin's offer. But given the circumstances, I get where he's coming from. And explaining those circumstances, he finally came clean with Gae In's father. I was actually proud that he did not use the Sanggojae concept for the Dam project, but instead was inspired by the apple given by Gae In.
I like the scene where Gae In's father insisted on carrying her drunk daughter. After his failed attempt, he actually smiled, as if relieved to see that someone strong enough is there to take care of his daughter.
Which brings us to Jin Ho and Gae In. Jin Ho can't really deny that he still has feelings for Gae In, "stalking" her and all. But he still went on and packed his things up at Sanggojae. He looked sad as he reminisced their moments together, the chainsaw (haha!) and the Jin Ho doll (I felt nostalgic seeing those scenes, as the PT rewatch comes to close).
The bed scene. I've seen this clip on youtube (several times
) long before actually watching it on PT, and I thought that it happened at the Sanggojae. Now I know. And now I know the context. Haha. LMH is really good with them facial expressions, he needs no words to express Jin Ho's disappointment. And the yearning look when Gae In took his hand to her chest.
The proposal quite sums up the dynamics of their relationship. Jin Ho prepares for this special proposal, but then Gae In messes it up. Haha. But they eventually manage.
I enjoyed watching PT. Coming from BOF, this gave LMH the opportunity to take on a mature and non-traditional role, and further showcase his potential as an actor.

On LMH entering the training center, I also feel sad whenever I see him walking alone. But I am kinda relieved when I see the spring in his step as he climbs up the stairs (in kimsocool's video). I hope he's excited for his new adventure, as also mentioned in minoz_peace's account.

Lee Min Ho enters military training center, waves goodbye to fans
Lee Min Ho has entered military training center.
Back in May 2017, Lee Min Ho started his mandatory service as a public worker. Usually, training takes place before starting the service duty. However, Lee Min Ho is in a pre-service system, where one starts service first and later enters military training center at the time set by the Military Manpower Administration.
Lee Min Ho's training term was set for March. Starting on March 15, Lee Min Ho will be receiving training at the Korea Army Training Center located in Nonsan. After 4 weeks of training, he will be going back to his regular public service duty.
On the day of Lee Min Ho's entrance to the training center, many fans from various countries came to see the star despite the rainy weather. In response to fans' warm greetings, the actor rolled down his window and waved goodbye.

Lee Min Ho Unveils New Haircut Before Entering Military Training Camp
Starting March 15, Lee Min Ho will be undergoing basic military training for four weeks at the Nonsan Training Center. The actor began his mandatory military servicelast May and has been serving as a public service worker at the Gangnam District Office for the past 10 months.
On March 15, Lee Min Ho posted several selfies on Instagram ahead of his official admission to military training camp. The photos show the actor sporting brand-new close-cropped hair and posing casually in a face mask.
Lee Min Ho will be discharged from the military in May 2019.

Isn't bb fond of eating meat? I really do hope he can manage with those "deprived" living conditions. True, if there is anything positive that they can learn from that experience, it is to find happiness in the small things. And be more mature persons as a result. Three down, one week to go!
