    @faytheTrue, that's how I felt when I re-watched their scenes. It was sad that they couldn't be together because of their fate. And it's even sadder that FJ thought DH didn't love her and would not be in love with her in his immortal life. That's why she tried to prolong their happy moments in the mortal world. It's always been the case of a one sided love for her in their immortal life. It's heart breaking that DH's intention was actually to allow her to be by his side yet he didn't realise that it would had hurt her more.

    @seawaterwitch It's a spoiler that I, myself, cannot say whether it's true or not. But, there is a 80-90% chance of them not being together in this series.

    I think it might not be the case. I believe it would be sad ending. :cold_sweat::cold_sweat:

    I don't know I just lost some faiths about their ending. Some said that there was a script on weibo for their ending and it's sad ending.

    When will this Xuan freaking Nu die?

    I just finished re-watching the previous episodes, when DH was dying he kept imagining FJ. I guess that's why he told Siming that he finally understood why it would be better for MY to be by his favourable discipline. Isn't it sad that at the end of his mortal life they were (FJ and DH) not together?

    Yes, hahahaha. That's DH's plan. He was really a nice person, FJ also enjoyed being around him. As she said, she developed a motherly feeling toward him.

    Btw, did anyone notice that DH's purple robe has become darker in latter episodes? He used to wear lighter robe in purple. Not sure tho, probably just my eyes. Ah and let's celebrate the comeback of a white haired DH!

    @linh5000 Thank you!!!! You are my savior. It's unfortunate that their story ended up the way it was. It was a bit random that they were on the run. Lol. I guess the writer wanted to finish off Fengjiu's debts. Also, I still cannot understand why DH is so persistent on rejecting Fengjiu because of their fate. It's a total deviation from the original books :cold_sweat:

    Btw, did Donghua remember all his mortal life? I wonder why Dinghua didn't question Siming about Fengjiu's involvement in his mortal life.

    I've decided I don't like the changes they made at all and this half following Pillow, half not following it and doing their own thing they're doing. I think they've ruined the spirit of the DH/FJ story and DH's character. The DH/FJ story is all based on the fact that for centuries FJ was following DH around and doing things for him and he was always ignorant of how much she's done for him. He never knew she was his palace maid or that she gave up her fox coat to save him, became his pet fox to be near him and he didn't remember their time in the mortal realm. That shamelessness is at the core of his character and the core of their romance, once he gets involved.

    But here, he knew right from the beginning that FJ likes him and he remembers their time in the mortal realm, so by having him reject her is so not their story. I'm sure they'll give him a somewhat justifiable reason for pushing her away but that was never what their couple was about.

     

    I think your order of the events is incorrect. Based on the spoiler Siming gave her that bell on DH's behalf as a conglutary gift for the throne. Then, that break up event.

    I feel your pain. I started this series because I read that they would include PB. I am not a fan of the main book (BQ and YH), therefore my expectation was rather high. I couldn't believe Xuan freaking Nu and Su evil eyes Jin took more screen times than Donghua or Fengjiu. Their scenes have been repetitive as if they didn't have enough materials for them, but would like to use them as antagonists. Just give their screen times to DH and FJ!!!

DH is so indifferent to many things, yet he remembered this tiny insignificant mark when he was suppose to forget everything about his immortal self.     They might not end up together or just an open ending. Alas, I just hope I'm wrong. 

    Another note, after I watched again previous episodes of FJ and DH, I guess Dijun chased her away for her safety. He realised that he has drawn most of his energy and if something bad happened to FJ, he might not be able to save her. Being in Qing qiu would have ensured her safety. Dijun is smart and always thinks ahead so I believe he has a good intention to send her home.
