@lisethvr Thanks for the update on LJG's schedule!

AWW YEAHHH! That means new pics of him tonight AND tomorrow~! Sweet.  If Ji Chang Wook (his movie is Fabricated City) and Kang Ha Neul (his movie is New Trial) aren't too busy with the press, I hope we get JG selfies with them. *crosses fingers* I hope he updates his IG either way though, haha.

So nice of him, attending his fellow artists movie premier. I am waiting for his IG update on that premier. I miss him already. He must quickly announce his project. We cant hardly wait to see him in action again.

Parkour is that high kick like in the video? I don't know, I never practiced taek won do. The video is amazing. What those guys (and some girls too as I've noticed) can do... it's really impressive.

Bet Joon Gi had to learn those stuff too since he's master.

It's not suprising to me. I believe there's a reason why he signs himself always as "real actor". Being a star doesn't mean being an actor and I think Joon Gi wants to be an actor more than being a star - stars like fade away v. quickly.

Think that you adore really cool person. :)

What you see in the video is a mixture of taekwando pattern and parkour. Like the one they stand up with 1 leg high up one straight line, that is taekwando. The spinning kick is taekwando but when they fly in the air spinning and kicking the wooden plank, that is not taekwando 100%.. I have seen my senior and instructor doing spinning kick and smash the wooden plank during the national competition but nothing like in the video :D

I did asked my instructor including our Grand Master about Korean taekwando, both of them told me, Korean have different method learning taekwando and they practice rigorously. 3-6 hours per day is norm for them. Whereas, for us, 2 hours 3 times a week only. A lot of difference,. hahahaha!!!

Sorry I am off topic a little bit.

  3. @Uniform Victory @pixelsticks if you look at this video, it is normal for taekwando students learn parkour as well. But in Malaysia  I am very sure our taekwando lesson does not include parkour since I am also practicing taekwando. It is more to sport and recreation activity. Maybe they do things differently in Korea I dunno. Maybe parkour is part of their taekwando syllabus, I am not sure either. But one thing for sure, Jun Ki did learn it.

I agreee with pixelsticks regards to his physical talent when his was 20's.

Well its Korean version. It cant be the same thing. I don't think it going to be a copy and paste esp in this type of drama. Might as well we'll just watched the American version if we expect it to really the same. :)

Honestly, the only thing I dont like about criminal story or sunbae hubae story in K drama, the way sunbae treated their subordinate or hubae harshly. Like kicking, shouting and insult them infront of everybody. Seriously, is that a trend or norm in Korea??

    Aaaah thank you! Done! :D

I'm more Six flying dragons girl - saeguk, times when Goryeo changed into Joseon. Great drama. Not a single episode was boring. <333

I always find it funny they blur knives (unless you cut tomato with it  ) but not swords.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking but my lack of vocabulary made it impossible to explain. Glad you read my mind. :D

It's my computer wallpaper for a few years and I changed it only once (guess with who was another wallpaper!).

Me neither. Horrors I watch are very rare. I like to feel the thrill and be scared but not in a mood "I"m gonna vomit here and now".

Now you have me! I love this movie. It's shocking and scary but there's no unnecessary violence. Not to mention the soundtrack is still one of my favourites. :)

You know... before I started watching k-dramas I would never think that a guy with eyeliner would look so hot. Eyeliner on Joon Gi's eyes only show more how gorgeous are his eyes.

I'm waiting for that drama too. Joon Gi would be perfect in it but it seems he does Criminal minds so he won't do it. Pity. But I'm still going to watch it.

I also want to know what video. :D

He had this photoshot where he had something written on his arm like a tatoo. But he doesn't have any tatoo. At least I don't know about any.

@MAROSA_JIN yay! Commander Chu! I should sign some petition so Joon Gi will have that hairstyle forever. He looks so... manly and sexy etc. etc. etc.

    I'm sorry I know it's sad but I can't stop laughting.

Sorry, it wasnt a video but GIF posted by @Christabelita on page 1654. GIF is actually from TBDW. I watched it from my old lappy and the format is different. I thought it was video :D

Okay. I went into recovery-mode after MLSHR, so I won't end up losing both my job and marriage.

But... LJG coming to Singapore... and I can't stay away. I don't have many friends in SG... and hubby refuses to accompany me to watch me scream for another man........

So..... Anyone here going to the HSBC event in SG? Or know anyone in SG that is going? Lemme know so we can meet up then? Cuz it will be kinda sad to go alone.

    Cheers!

That red part make me laugh.

If I am not mistaken ,17 of us from Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia will be going for the HSBC event on 4th March.

I still think when he was younger he also looked like an elf - a young elf. :D

*spreads her arms* Yeeeeah! I'm not alone! :D

True but I think it's because Joseon was a v. long era and maybe they have plenty of material to base their story on. I mean - they know exactly type of clothing, what people were thinking etc. Also Joseon = Confucius philosophy. It seems Goryeo, Silla and Baekje were too colourfull. And I also think Joseon had the biggest influence on what Korea look like today (I mean South Korea, no idea how about the North). And maybe Three kingdoms are more like a myth, too much speculation on what life looked like back then.

Still I'm glad I saw some dramas about earlier times - Faith (Goryeo), Moon lovers (Goryeo), I'm also going to see The great Queen Seondeok (Silla) in a while. :)

I found one book about korean history but I wish I found something bigger. I bet I'll  have to look around in english bookstores.

Imagine that... elves looking like Joon Gi... Must say whenever I look at my favourite picture from Iljimae I see an elf. Can't do anything about it.

Btw if you want to know which picture is my favourite - here it goes.

I click above his picture and that sends me to some chinese page - I don't know what to do next. I don't understand chinese letters. :(

As I know Joon Gi the waiting will be worth the prize. Btw is it finally official???

I've seen once - well, it was only one episode but it was awful to watch. The first episode of second series of Vampire prosecutor - I've seen it only because Byun Yo Han was in it. Torturing human being with electricity... I couldn't watch it. I can still see those scenes.

That pic, like he is from the manga character.

  7. @Christabelita the video he did his kick, I am still in the process learning that too in our taekwando class. The problem with me, my other leg cannot stand still after the turning kick. I am not as agile as Jun Ki. The way he kick and turn looks like someone was holding his standing leg while he making the kick. I dunno how long I need to do that same kick. It may take years. kekekek!

@junejungki @aimwanie While Criminal Minds is an ensemble show, if we had to name a main character, I think Hotchner qualifies as one that would fit LJG and his "status" best. If LJG actually accepts this show, I feel like he'll probably end up being a mesh of Hotchner and Derek together maybe, lol. Because while Hotchner is the leader and involved with some of the action, Derek was always the one getting the most action, haha. It seems like a waste to cast LJG and not utilize his action skills to their full potential.

While Spencer is a very interesting character, I honestly can't see LJG signing up to play that part because the action that character gets is minimal and he's a bit lower in terms of importance. Spencer is also the youngest on the team, too. lol (That being said, Spencer is one of the more popular characters among fans.) Hotchner or Derek would fulfill both the compelling character and action-involved criteria that LJG seems to love.

(My personal dream casting is LJG as Hotchner and Ji Chang Wook as Derek, haha!)

Yeah!! I like to see Jun Ki as per your post, a mesh of Hotch and Derek. That would be exciting to see how he portray it. Definitely not Spencer. He is too young and a bit blurry sometime though he grow mature in the later season but I dont think Jun Ki will accept if they offer him Spencer character.

He doesn't suck our blood so he can't be a vampire. But elves.... yeah, he can be an elf!

When he was in early 20's, he looks like a character from the anime. Now as he is getting older, he has the elf look. Especially his big ear. Remind me of Legolas.

and i did look up for both derek morgana and doctor spencer reid.. well.. it will be a new character for him if he did doctor spencer reid.. seriously. quite interesting role tbh. but but but DEREK also a good one.. the muscle up man in team huh.. cool!

But starting Season 12, Derek Morgan no longer in CM. So sad. It wont feel the same anymore without Derek. I am trying to imagine Jun Ki as Aaron Hotchner or Derek Morgan

Yes! I believe he mentioned that in the latest translated interview by JGFamily. He also said that he put on a lot of work into those characters (Soo Hyun and Kay) and that he still sort of believe (or like to believe) that Soo Hyun is still out there living his life. XD

I honestly would love to see Oppa in another role like that. I just have a thing for spy/undercover agents and JG on that sort of role is a like a double prize for me XDDD Not to mention his badassery if from out of this word =9

Yey!! I LOOOOOVE this drama with a passion. So enjoy it!!! <3 <3  soooo goood!! OMG!!! and to be honest, this drama may have al the cliches, but back then when it first aired not all of them were cliches yet lol XD. This drama is truly addictive. I love the tension, the twists and the romance <3 and I may be on the minority here, but I have always loved Nam Sang Mi thanks to this drama. I have watched this drama soooo many times, yet every time I watching is almost like Im watching it for the first time. It never loses its grip and it always keeps me at the edge of my seat regardless the fact that I know exactly what's gonna happen! I always need a manicure once Im done with it XD. And sincerely, very few dramas have done that to me. Actually, probably Moon Lovers is the only other one that can achieve that for me =9 (already watched it more than 3 times... yup... got a lot of free time lately:unsure:)

About RE. I hate 3D!! I wear glasses, and wearing 3D glasses over glasses is not comfortable at all. not to mention that 3D movies, thanks to those stupid dark glasses, look a few shades darker than the 2D versions (I hate that! is like watching a movie under the shade), and also.. my poor eye and head... 3D gives me headaches. T_T

@MAROSA_JIN thanks for the Wang So pictures, and excuse my language but... Jun Ki looks so richard simmons gorgeous with long hair. Damn! Cat get enough of him. I need to print a full life long-haired Jun Ki for me XDDDD

Dear, same here. I love his hair in MLSHR. He looks so gorgeous and delicious :yum::yum:

Thanks for sharing but OMG! Those outfits?  BWAAA!! LOL!  Some of them are HUGE!  But then again, that is high designer fashion.  Did I see a see-thru shirt on one?

Same here.  Nobody in my house wants to go see it with me.  I would love for him to do another English language movie.  Challenge yourself JG!

It opened stateside last night at 7:00pm.  Today is the first full day of showings.  Reviews are mixed.  Americans like to look at Rotten Tomatoes rating for movies.  It averages the professional Critics Reviews (Fresh Tomato or Rotten Tomato) and also has a category for User Ratings.  79@% of the Audience liked it as of right now.  43% of Critics did.  The top Critics are split. These numbers change as reviews come in.  The site lists Joon Gi as an actor in the movie but does not have a picture of him in the profile slot.  https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/resident_evil_the_final_chapter

Yes, the see through white shirt

I am not into high end designer fashion so I dont know what to say about the clothes in this video. But I am sure ordinary people will never wear this. Socialite and celebs maybe.

Today is 1st day Chinese New Year in Malaysia. To soompian celebrating CNY, Gong Xi Fatt Chai to you. :heart:

@willenette I'm happy to see him in the list of Top 10 Famous And Most Handsome Korean Actors In 2017 but I'm surprised to find out that he is 32 year old. I know he look like in his twenty :).

About his next project I would have liked to see him in Criminal Minds like a hybrid between Hotch and Derek but the more time passes the more I lose hope that he will accept that project. I'll wait with patience his decision.

This year April he will turn 35. He was born in 1982.

Not at all!!!  I have Polish in my family background but I cannot read letters we have from ancestors.  It's a tough language.  Google translate is a joke!

Speaking of tough languages, I was watching a video that ranked the hardest languages for an English speaking person to learn....and Korean was #2 on the list.  The main reasons were the differences in sentence structure and the subtle vowel sounds that English speakers may not find perceptible.  That and the traditional constructs of which words to use with which people (oppa, hyung, noona, etc).

BUT I AM SO EXCITED!!!!   WHY??

THIS FINALLY ARRIVED.  It took almost 2 months but I cannot wait to load it up and have JG talk to me. :D

I love the TAGLINE on the cd which says "Listening to the voice of Joon Gi Lee makes studying Korean easier and more enjoyable."  <<<Well, obvious!>>>  And is that his (copy) signature on the blue thing?  It is quite intricate.

<<<although they might want to think of updating the cd...I think JG should create an App for phones....hey Namoo?>>>>

2 months to arrive?? Goodness!! It takes 4 days to arrive my home after I place my order. I always listen to this CD before I go to bed. His voice sooth me

He worked on his English. He sounds good. Don't laugh at me but when I try to speak English I struggle even in simple parts and saying "it couldn't be better" as fast as he does - impossible to me. :(

    I'm pround of him.

Yeah, I know - I should practice more. It is possible to learn language.

Dont worry about it. Language is just a tool to communicate with each other. We are not from English speaking country so nobody expect us to speak Queen English or maybe Trump English :D

For me, as long as I can understand the person whatever they want to convey to me, it doesn t matter if they speak good or bad or even broken English. In this case, I can understand what Jun Ki wants to say to his fans.

I am glad Namooactors made a statement about the rumor that Joon Gi and IU are dating. IU and her boyfriend dated for three- four years and I have no doubt that it is a hard period for her because they have separated recently.  Joon Gi is an easygoing person and he has a good relationship with lots of people, cast members. If he will fall in love on set or outside entertainment it is up to him. Same with everybody else. One thing is to like a particular couple and wish they are together but to start groundless rumors is too much.

I still want to see Joon Gi happy in his personal life, to find his partner, the love of his life. When he will fall in love and want to share the news with the public I will cheer for him like I do with all people I love.

I agree. We shouldnt interfere or busy body about artists private life. We dont even know what is the story behind it. We  adore and love them for their talent. Whatever they want to do with their private life, is their business. Fans should leave them alone instead of add more rumours.

Thank you! indeed we have a lot to look forward too... so excited!!!

And we have our Fan duties cut out for us too! stressed :fearful:

In one of the IG video I saw earlier, JG sent out a very stressful MSG at the HK FM for this coming FM.

We all really have our work as fans cut out for us (need make lots of noise) and for him to ever visit S.E.A again for another FM after this... We need to showcase the Best we could, even thou the odds are seems to be against us....

For those who will be there Hwaiting!

Do we need to make a poster or something? It seems Taiwanese and HK fans did a lot of cute things flowers included. I am very bad when comes to this kind of stuff. I will let the young people take charge of making these cute stuff. I will help to hold or wave at him with the placard.  Screaming and jumping is my forte. So no problem with that. I can cheer him as loud as I can. As for today, I am still coughing. On the way to recover from my illness. I got flu, fever and coughing due to the bad weather. Raining every day makes me gloom,
