@Diana Blanche Also I like the song Lost Frame and his look in that video, but I like more his look and performance at his Beijing fanmeeting. I think that the black color looks very well on Joon Gi.
And in this other video also looks great, but when I see it gives me sadness to think that Joon Gi could be feeling pain at that time by the injury that he suffered.
Thank you for videos. He's great. It looks like black's fits him better. And I love when he is a little more bold in acting and in his songs. I like to read older comments from this thread and comments on the other sites and some of his fans consider that this type of song doesn't fit him. Rain is my favorite song, Lost Frame is the second.

Not undermining him but "I'm Yours" is an easy song in term of vocal range and the english lyrics pronounciation. Having said that, I like that he is aware of his limit and capability as a singer and singing foreign song instead of going all ambitious covering really difficult song which may ended up becoming a butt of joke. I like how he appreciates his international fans by trying to sing in English. Idk if this is true but a lot of comments i read mentioned that LJG has more international fans than korean fans. But really, I noticed that he is the only Korean actor that frequently captioned his IG in English.
Actually, I like his voice. It is warm and pleasant. And the Rain and the Lost frame are not songs that are easy to interpret, and his vocals inflections in the Rain are amazing. I know that Lost frame is not the cup of tea for anyone but it is one of my favorites songs, even if the lyrics don't really make sense. I love his look in this video.
From what I know My Dear has spent some time as number one in top ORICON. And I think that LJG is a good singer, even if he sings just for his fans.
I'd be happy for you @patoi if LJG will make a FM in Thailand. Good luck!

He once was almost paired with noona but he couldn't make it (Faith, of course) - I'm not surprised he was never paired with noona before - next to him every woman lookes older than him even if she's 10 years younger.
I totally agree with you. A good actress doesn't necessarily mean a good chemistry. All viewers, watching a drama want a good chemistry. LGJ has proven that he can deliver a better chemistry with an actress much younger than him so, he must be very careful of who will be his next co-star. Maybe he feels more comfortable in the presence of an younger actress. And if a thing goes well, why ruin it? It's true that his last two dramas have created a rift between internal rating and international viewers, but none of his previous dramas (since he came back from the army) in which he had as co-stars more experienced actresses did not have a spectacular rating. The sad truth is that LJG and his dramas have been underrated in Korea.(I don't know why maybe because of the lack of chemistry). Maybe after the success of the MLSHR things will change. Pairing him with a noona... I don't think it is a good idea.

@leesopark16 Thank you for posting this video.
I liked what he said. It looks like he's aware that fans come and go and after a few years of adoration they are jumping with ease in the boat of another actor, younger and more good looking. But the ones who's appreciating him more for his talent than for his beauty will remain for a long time alongside him. In a world where film industry is no longer an art but an art of making money, LJG in all his roles has the power to created art. He is able to dive into his roles so much that to blend with his characters. Every time he played a role I feel like he gave his character not only his beauty but also a part of his soul, and there are not many actors who can rise their acting at that level.

I like your hypothesis. This cheers me up a little considering "JM took on WS with him".
"Jimong knew that WS was going to die in the time of the second eclipse", is this historically true? Sorry I think someone put up a list of eclipse that happened during Goryeo, but I forgot whether the there's eclipse in the year that GJ died or not.
I do believe there's a hidden clue in WS's word "I will find you no matter where you are". It must meant something.
I don't know. It seems that in the year in which GJ died it was a solar eclipse (I read this in one of the comments). But I think the Drama is based on this astrological aspect. First eclipse – Ha Jin dies - travels in the past. Second eclipse – Wang So – dies - travels in the future. The link is Jimong.

Again I'm behind with the comments but I have to read them all. And these are my last thoughts about this drama:
I know many of you hate Jimong but I understand that he was one of the few friends of So (in fact the only one) who stayed till the end with him. All he wanted was So to become king because he knew that under his reign will be made good reforms for the country. So, as some of you have already specified the role of Hae Soo was to help WS to become king and not to fall in love with him. I wondered why Jimong left the palace at the end. The answer was provided by the second eclipse. Jimong knew that WS was going to die in the time of the second eclipse. When WS came back to the palace in ep.1, Jimong was always with him. After the death of WS his presence in the palace would have become useless. He is the gateway between past and present. And I don't think Jimong was travelling alone in the future, he took on WS with him, because their destinies are inseparable. The presence of Jimong in the future means the presence of So in the future too. Somehow this end let us to understand that Soo-So will meet again.
About Jung. His feelings for Hae Soo were pure and so little selfish. I'm glad that Hae Soo has entrusted him with the most precious thing she had. Maybe I'm in the minority but I think Jung will be a better father for the little girl than So.
In the end I don't know what I will miss more. The drama or this threat. Anyway both will have forever a special place in my heart. I don't think there is a thread so warm, full of smart analysis, speculation, observations moderated by so patient and understanding moderators. Thank you all for this wonderful journey.
And this is my most favorite scene in this drama. The point of no return:

PD said that the journey is going to be sad but the end will be happy, LJG said that the end will be healing and Happy! Now Zera post on her IG smth about happy and Kang Ha Na post a pictures of her character (Yeon Hwa) were she seem to be very happy. Could it be that we no longer understand the meaning of the word happiness?

A rhetorical question since this is only way I can process the ending. It doesn't make sense.
Sorry I deleted the pictures and the question about S2. But If they decide to do season 2 I wouldn't want to happen the same thing as with Iljimae. I mean the fact that they could change the actors. In this case NO! Thank you.

LOL in fact I like the end even if it's just me! Somehow I expected for NO So in modern era. (Leaving the end open for a sequel?)
And these are my first thoughts:
1 Hae Soo left the palace because she loved their child more than anything. She knew that if she tells So about the baby he would have never allowed her to leave. She did what was best for the child. To be raised free.
2 Jung already told to So that the baby is his and Hae Soo when he told him that Soo wish was that the child to not be raised in palace. So was never stupid, he realized that the baby is his but he respected HS desire. That is why So allowed Jung to return to the palace.
And the writer redeem his/herself in my eyes for the baby story. All in all this drama was a MASTERPRICE!
Congratulations to the actors and actresses and the casting director and for their wonderful job! And now I will wait for a big award for LJG brilliant performance.

The truth is that I don't want my words to be true. I still hope that the one that Ha Jin will meet in the future to be So. But I will can't endure to see tomorrow another 50 minutes about WS/HS pain and only 10 min of remembrance in the future. It would be like after they broke my heart to pieces they would try to stick them back with super glue.

I need first psychological aid! How am I even supposed to analyze this TRAINWRECK of an episode?!! This drama makes me want to murder people - which is basically the writer and basically every single character except for WS and BA. I think the writer made a bet how much makjang drama and illogical tragedy she could squeeze in in 60 minutes and she has just broke the world record. To achieve it she got high on crack while writing the final episodes. She has destroyed 18 hours of character and relationship development and storytelling, ruining the OTP in the process.
Actually, So’s character remains consistent for the most part of the episode, however, there are TWO GLARING MISTAKES, AND INCONSISTENCIES which makes the whole episode utterly incoherent.
The first one is the THE (NON-)CONSUMMATION SCENE. Apart from the red curtains, there is absolutely no indication whether So and YH slept together or not, be it in the scene alone or in the aftermath. But the thing is THOSE RED CURTAINS WERE IN THAT ROOM SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING. Other than that, there was NO CANDLE BLOWN, THEY DIDN’T EVEN TOUCH, THEY DIDN’T SHOW THEM LYING IN THE BED IN THE AFTERMATH…. just NOTHING. It’s impossible to analyze something when you have absolutely no context whatsoever. And let’s say they did consummate their marriage (I mean YH DID betray her brother) - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REACTION FROM WS AFTERWARDS! WS has had always strong reactions because he feels so much and cares so much, even after he killed those monks he suffered from guilt, after he learned about BA leaving his side,…BUT NOW THERE IS NOTHING. Remember how guilty and unhappy he was WHEN HE MARRIED MOO’S DAUGHTER?! THIS IS A MAN WHO FELT GUILTY AND WAS READY TO LET HS GO BECAUSE HE WAS FORCED TO MARRY A CHILD! And he only sent her to nunnery and now WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THAT AFTER “CHEATING” ON HS HE WOULDN’t SUFFER FROM ANY GUILT?! That he wouldn’t let her go?! After everything we’ve seen in those 18 previous episodes, how are the viewers supposed to believe he would actualy do this to HS when he promised to be only hers, when he promised her she is his only queen?! That’s the reason why I absolutely do not accept that there was any kind of consumation between them. HOW ELSE DO YOU EXPLAIN 4+ years WITHOUT A CHILD (it’s 951 now, and their son was born in November 955). The writer had it all set up so why not to exploit this strange occurance. Because if they did consummate the marriage combined with WS’s lack of any reaction - THIS SCENE HAS JUST SINGLEHANDEDLY DESTROYED WS’S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
My only consolation is that the drama ends tomorrow and I won’t need to deal with any more of this madness.
Love your comment. My feelings exactly. We all expected a tragic end in Goryeo, but what did the writer with our OTP in this episode was a mess. I'm sorry for my harsh words but I still can't calm down.

I can't take seriously this episode. They washed WW with HS soap.
1. WH death was useless due to the lack of plausible reason.
2. WW redemption? Really? And HS so willing to understand him for all he did and let him embrace her? What about WS? She didn't even tried to understand his actions, his reasons. She push him away when he tried to explain her what CR did. Wook killed good people, left her in the hardest situation. So killed criminals and traitors and always was there for her. Who was her true love in the end? Due to the way in which the writer took the story in this episode, I won't be surprised if in the next episode, in the future, HS will meet her love... the reincarnation of Wook In this case this is were this drama ended for me:
Their wishes came true and they lived happily ever after...
cr: pape-box
I wonder if Jimong can read what HS wrote in her journal. And if he will read it to GJ.

This has to be the most pathetic and lazy richard simmons writing ever, Is the writer serious? What sort of reasoning is she using for people to leave So? HS with CR, BA with WH, like what? Or is the writer just too afraid of turning So dark enough so that it justifies any of them leaving?
I agree totally with you! A big minus to the PD, writer... a big plus to the cast.

Our last ship is on the bottom of the ocean. I hate the writer. Too angry to say more. And I'm depressed that she let WW to embrace her.

Sorry, I tried to cut the video out but somehow, not successful. LJG is very active on social media and the one whom is most active in promoting MLSHR. Second after him came Hong Jong Hyun, Kang Ha Na and as of late, IU also jumping on the bandwagon now that MLSHR is on the final leg of its run. All I can say is that he is a true "Baekhyun's Fanboy". He adores him so much. I did dropped by the "JoonU Couple" thread but since I am not shipping them (since I think he has a gf, that is Jeon Hye Bin), I took their coincidence active social media presence as to capitalize on the ending of MDBC and being the leads, to help drumming up final interest in order to give MLSHR at least, a sent off with decent ratings. Good luck.
I care less who is his girlfriend as long as she can make him happy. But I can't deny the wonderful chemistry between LJG and IU in Moon Lovers and in my opinion the two of them fit perfectly in this drama.
3 hours ago, hiluna said:Oh my, I guess I will be admiring him from afar then I am happy for him that he is so popular, he deserves it and I hope that he will continue to act for a long time and not retire too early. He is the only Asian actor that I am a fan of because I really like him as a person. There are other actors and actresses whom I like but I wouldn't call myself a "fan" of theirs, I just enjoy their shows.
Unlike others actors who shine due to the their flawless dramas (where script, editing, co-stars, etc... are perfect), LJG stunning performance can make a drama with flaws to shine. Moon Lovers is the best example and not only.

Lee Joon Gi 이준기 | [Drama 2023] "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon"
in actors & actresses

@minekas, @MAROSA_JIN, @lisethvr Thank you Great pictures and clips
@leesopark16 I didn't know he wears contact lenses. Maybe he needs glasses or maybe it is just the reflection of the lights. I don't know but really, to me it looks something strange with the color of his eyes.
@cedarwood I agree with your statement about LJG and babies. LJG knows how to hold a baby in his arms and his chemistry with Lee Chae-Mi in Two Weeks blow my mind..
About this upcoming drama I don't know what to say. I suspected that his role will be short and now he has confirmed that. I'm much more eager to see him in his next's project than in this Lotte drama.
