Closing in on one year since hiatus, many fans are curious about when actor Park Bo-gum will be returning to the screen.
The trending actor has not appeared in any projects ever since wrapping up KBS 2TV drama 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' in October of 2016. Despite receiving numerous love calls over the past year, nothing seems to have fully satisfied Park Bo-gum.
Earlier this year, an exclusive report stated that the actor will be starring in new film 'Seo Bok' directed by Lee Yong-joo. However, Park Bo-gum had turned it down. In February, it was revealed that Park Bo-gum is looking into a historical film 'Ansi Fortress' but that also didn't come to fruition. Then Park Bo-gum was in talks as one of the cast members for a new tvN fantasy drama 'Hwayugi' but it fell through as well. Most recently, his name came up as one of the cast members for a Netflix series of a popular webtoon drama. However, a rep from Park Bo-gum's label denied the reports and stated, "He will not be appearing."
Regardless of all of these wonderful offers, it appears Park Bo-gum has not settled on a particular project. An insider commented, "From Park Bo-gum's point of view he doesn't need to rush. He will still receive many love calls whether he takes his time or not."
In regards to this, Park Bo-gum's agency explained, "He has not found a specific project or role that fits him. There's no special reason or anything like that. He is currently open to many suggestions and is carefully looking into all the possibilities. Nothing has been confirmed yet at this time."Which drama or film would you want Park Bo-gum to star in?
Comment: Several are bashing Bogum for the boldfaced portion. Sigh! How I wish those who speak in his behalf, i.e., those from his agency could be more tactful and careful. This doesn't sound like Bogum at all.@stroppyse, since @dahae2006 gave you the article link, is it possible for you to just translate the Korean version of the part I boldfaced? Sometimes allkpop waters down the translation of the Korean news articles so it's possible this was not translated well. Sorry for the bother and many thanks in advance!

Park Bogum hosted Music Bank in Jakarta that was held on September 2nd along with his perfect partner MC, Red Velvet's Irene. The couple has ended their run as the show's official MC but has been comforting those sad hearts with their untouchable chemistry in special occasion like this.
He hosted the show with his bright personality that made everyone fall for him over again and despite being in the huge pool of dazzling male idols, the actor is not losing out in the strong visual game during the event. He may be an actor, an excellent one to add, and with those looks, he could easily be passed off as a member from a boy idol group.

It's all logical why fans could not stop falling in love with Park Bogum.
On September 2nd, Park Bogum hosted 'Music Bank' in Jakarta, Indonesia, together with Red Velvet's Irene. Needless to say, fans were all excited for this, and they gave him a lot of gifts to welcome him, or to simply show how much they love him.
A day later, on September 3rd, Park Bogum was spotted having his breakfast at his hotel. Surprisingly, he was spotted wearing a red baseball cap with the word 'Damn! I Love Indonesia' embroidered on it. It turned out that the cap is a gift from one fan, and surely this make fans happy to see how Bogum appreciates fans' gift.
Several comments circulating on the Internet says such thing like "Thanks that he wears the gift from fans", "It might be cheap for him, but he still wears it", "If I were the one who gave the hat, I might faint right now", and more.
