    Very dangerous but i think she ll somehow be able to do it. Nothing surprises me about this show anymore, really. So the mystery of CP in pjs is solved. He was convalescing and what a nice surprise it would be for him to wake up and see her!

    I m sure CP wont die. The PD is the same bloke in Dots. As @Phuong Dinh says, he also "killed" off Yoo Si Jin in penultimate ep to resurrect him in final ep. Its becoming an irritating habit but l m sure CP will live. There is no way in kdrama land he died without ever seeing Raon after that dreadful ep 16 ending lah. KBS is not that dumb to kill off their money spinners like that. And the station will be under siege by legions of fans. They wldnt dare!

    I do think its a ploy by CP. I agree with some chingus here that that ep with Teacher Dasan who taught him about that harmless chemical reaction is being put to use. I dont think HY is in on the plot but maybe he used her to lend authenticity to whatever he s planning with YS.

    that said, besides the fact that i m so glad BY is alive, i really did not like ep 17. For a penultimate ep, the storyline sure moved at snail pace. Seriously, all that happened was dumb n dumber got sacked. Nothing much else progressed. Showing the baby, internal dissent etc was a slow build up for tomorrow but it basically ate up precious screen time for the OTP.  Really, do we care about the intricacies of how the bad eventually gets punished? Not really. The plot twists abt the baby switch etc now seem so unimportant when we have one 1 hr left. Really, cldnt they chop chop wrap all that up in 17? 

    Sigh.. i m so frustrated with the show right now coz there will still be time wasted on disposing of evil kim n queen tomorrow, leaving so little screen time left for our couple, which is all i really care to see right now.

    I am still hoping they find some clever way to vindicate him. His was a Robin Hood cause of robbing the rich to give to the poor that stemmed from pilfering of the people's money by Evil Kim n gang so if CP can prove that with the help of YS, perhaps a royal pardon is in order.

    i m still hopeful coz honestly i dont see CP abdicating the throne just to be with Raon. Regardless what the novel says, somehow it doesnt seem in his character to shirk his responsibility, unless in some strange twist, YS marries Hayeon n they both be King n Queen. Haha.

    im really excited to see how the PD plays out the story. Happy ending is all l ask for.

    Why do people keep saying Raon cant be Queen? Why not? Once HGN is vindicated as a rebel, she is pretty much eligible like all the other gals. Of course, there is that tricky bit of asking HY to pls give up being Crown Princess, which l think she will coz they gave her a baby as a consolation :) So once CP exposes evil kim n cronies, he can be King n he can bring Raon back to be his Queen.

    so none of that time lapse nonsense, pls. It will just be a ridiculous cop out n i dont see this production team being that silly.

    I was waiting for translations before l decide how l finally feel. Haha. Honestly, i was pretty disappointed with the preview at first coz it was again more talk, talk, talk by evil Kim n still showing the minor characters.

    I was thinking this being the penultimate episode, shdnt the PD be showing more of the main characters to drive ratings? But after reading the sub, l ve decided this is a great preview coz it cleverly hints at hope of a CP-Raon reunion, that BY is alive, and YS is alive n on the CP's side! All without having to show all of them in action iterally. Thats clever.

    what more can we ask for? Its all good, folks. *smile*

    I pity the actor who plays King. Why do they write his character to be such an epic failure whose sole existence in this show is to be a sissified arm flailing, jelly-brained, eye ball popping nuisance?

    l think if i am that actor, l'd go on an acting strike till they write me a part with a saving grace. Hmph! 

    I m still hating on the King.. Burn, King, Burn.

    I m 99.9999% sure none of our leads will die. In early interviews for MDBC, the writer says that this is meant to be a coming of age teen romance and so they intend to avoid the heavy melodrama. To me, death of any of the 5 leads will constitute heavy melo. So if by now none of them r dead, l m sure they will live till the show is over.

    Shoot me with YS's last bullet if l m wrong. .. On second thots, scratch that.. shoot the King instead. I hated him from earlier on n now l hate him to death. So yes, somebody pls shoot him. Useless piece of turd.

    Not really related to the show but reading thru all the posts n the different reactions for and against Raon's decision to break up, l must this show has succeeded tremendously in connecting with its viewers on different levels. Some of us choose to be more rational about it,  some of us choose to be more emotional about it. Thats why we get sad or angry. No wrong, no right here. At least, no one is ambivalent about it and i think the production team shd be so proud of this as its a sign of success.

    I admit I am Team Emo coz i choose to want a fairy tale over common sense :) But i agree with all the sensible analysis here. I just still dont like it *suck thumb*

    Most importantly, what is so great about this thread is that everyone treats each other with respect, regardless of differences of opinions. thats very nice to see coz it doesnt always happen in some other threads.

    @nonski - l ll be out for dinner tonight so marking my attendance early. I cant heck the emo roller coaster so will watch once the storm is over. Thank you in advance to all the transcappers n translators who will bear the first brunt of heartbreak.

    I know that many people think that RO is realistic while CP is dreamy on their relationship. I could not agree more. What I emphasize is that, relationship is shaped and moved with 2 people. RO is the one who decide it alone thinking this is the best for both of them. What about if they just sit together over warm capuccino. Converse about what they know about their situation, thinking together what solution might be to get the PM down, contacting dasan etc... Just communicate everything and find way together, as a lover and partner in life, share the burden! 

    Besides, If she is about to be the king's partner she also needs to have iron heart and fists as so many poisons around the palace. Out of the topic, if you compare the women in the other moon drama, women there are badass!

    I think the greatest challenge would have been getting capuccino :)

    l agree with you that there are other possibilities on how the love story between them could have been played out instead of the cliched "I shall pretend l dont love you anymore" angle. Since this show has taken quite a bit of artistic licence, the story, as you say, could have been Raon n CP strategically planning their separation for him to sort out his internal affairs n for her to find out more abt the White Cloud Clan n what they are really about so she can help him from the outside. And of course, he must not go thru with the wedding.

    Unrealistic n too fairy tale like perhaps but it ll keep alot of viewers happy, l m sure. We all watch dramas for a dose of fantasy, dont we? That said, l still think the story s twist n turns are pretty good n im not the PD nor the scriptwriter so l shall respect how they wish to spin their story.

    to me, PBG really rocked it tonight... the singing.... wow..

    Judging by Ha Yeon s outfit in ep 16, clearly wedding did not happen. Honestly, l m liking seeing CP all fired n pissy, even towards Raon. He needs to show strength of character to be a King. He cannot be turning to mush over a gal. In a way, l m glad they broke up so when they eventually reunite, l hope it will be Raon who comes back to him since he has been the one doing the chasing all the time n she, the running away. So if she comes back on her own volition, it means she s here to stay.

    @piluche - l too think that the rebels will disrupt the wedding n it never goes thru. I think that s the best distortion of history to pave the way for a happy ending bet CP and Raon coz he cant very well unmarry Ha Yeon once he goes thru with the whole shebang.

    l m still holding out hope that we got trolled in the preview and no wedding goes thru n the focus shifts to the rebel fight with the palace, how they resolve their differences with the CP, pledge allegiance, punish the evil ones, and finally for CP to go fetch Raon back to the palace.

    there! Enuf material for 3 eps, surely.

    Honestly, the one similar characteristic among CP, Hayeon n YS is that they each love fearlessly with all their heart, and they do their best to pursue that love. I like them all for it, HY included. Actually watching how she got the cold rebuff from CP ytd n how she sucked it up made me pity her. I dont dislike her character anymore n l wish her well when her love is over, just like l do Yoon Sung.

    And i have to say Raon is the weakest in the love dept coz she chose to do the cliche run away thing common in kdramas. I hope the screenwriter writes a more resilient characterization of her with the remaining eps. I ll like to see her stand up to the evil makers n the baekyoon clan, n defend her love for CP.  The "weak damsel that needs saving" portrayal of her needs to stop, else like CP.. I find it very unforgiveable esp when she started out as such a spunky and resourceful character.
