With your input and everybody else's, this thread is such pure bliss for a fangirl like me (well, actually, I'm fangirling a few couples - from BoomPeak, OhmToeyand now, KongArthit =) And of course, I must not forget @jaelephy's GIFs....such feels. Fast or slow...which version do I like more for JY's DWS theme song? Well, frankly, I like the slow one just a little bit more. I like how the originally upbeat song was given a slight melancholic twist by JY and I think he delivered the song quite nicely, too.

I do hope JY will be given a recording deal as I'd so love to hear his voice in more songs. Actually, I like his normal voice too as it's so pleasant and soothing to the ears but I love it most when he lapses into his Dandong accent of which we could hear in some BTS....ah, those were the days...

I was viewing some clips of ZZ's concert in Seoul. Truth be told, upon my initial listening of the intro of 海若有因, it never crossed my mind that ZZ was going to sing the song but when he finally sang the first line, I was surprised, happy and a little sad all at the same time....surprised and amazed at the creative way the intro was tweaked, happy that ZZ was singing the song live as I never thought I could hear it being sung again after the Shanghai fan meet and slightly sad coz he had to sing it alone instead of it being a duet...nevertheless, at the end of the day, I'm truly glad that he performed the song.

ZZ's Dandelion Octopus shoe is indeed very eye-catching. Look at the two pearls for its eyes. 

Back in April, JY also wore a pair of Christian Laboutin shoes (the sparkly Gwaliorissimo Flat) when he was shooting DWS.

Someone pointed out over IG that with the number of similar-looking shoes or shoes from the same designer, JY and ZZ are perhaps, not just soulmates, but solemates as well =) Well, that's one thing but sometimes, I do really wonder whether they have a mutual agent / negotiator in the wardrobe department? There were many times when one of them would either wear something similar or from the same designer within a month or two, or sometimes, within weeks of each other's photoshoots.

And since JY was a model, I couldn't help thinking if he was the one who set the ball rolling in getting sponsors for his (and probably some of ZZ's) outfits and shoes. I guess, even if they can't be seen in public, there's no stopping this power couple behind the scenes and I do believe there's probably more to them than meets our eyes.

You pointed out that Xu Lu might have cut her hair to resemble you know who. To give her the benefit of the doubt, I think she might just like the chic hairstyle and it's probably better to sport a shorter hairstyle now since it can be quite hot in China during summer. 

Then again, maybe Xu Lu does know of JY's current preference hair length-wise for the person he likes. JY used to like girls with long hair until at the Thailand fan meeting, when he said that he likes girls with hair that is just slightly long. 

The translator just happened to place his fingers below his ears while translating JY's answer. And the audience repeatedly shouted out ZZ's name throughout that segment. JY looked like he didn't seems to mind being linked with ZZ as he was smiling through it all. So, if you put two and two together, you can probably guess who JY might really have in mind when he was answering the question.

JY's reaction says a lot for me....even if he did not confirm anything, he's not exactly denying anything either. If there's truly nothing going on, knowing JY's character, he would have voiced out or showed a slight trace of annoyance but he didn't. That says something, doesn't it? 

Oh, btw, speaking of ZZ wearing Andrea Crews' judo/jujitsu-themed outfits, JY is now holding a blue belt so, if ZZ were to sport another outfit but with a blue colour belt, then we don't need to guess who ZZ really holds dear in his heart =)

P.S: A bit unrelated, but all this while, I have always thought that Xu Lu is perhaps, one or two years older than JY but she's actually just two months younger than ZZ. Anyway, looks like there are two Xu(s) in JY's life at the moment....one whom he can't be seen with, and another whom the DWS crew is trying to pair him up with. Although many people seems to like the JY-Xu Lu pairing, if I have a choice, I rather see more of JY's interaction with Ethan Ruan or Ma Ke....I think JY's more relaxed and less awkward when he interacts with guys, somehow.

If Google Translate's accurate enough, 냉정과열정사이 means between calm and passion. Well, both JY and ZZ are relatively calm, I guess, so, passion is what I wish for both of them.

 

Not just where relationship is concerned but in every other aspect of their life and in everything they do. To quote Bon Jovi: "Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate."

Anyway, although JY would not be able to be in Seoul to watch ZZ perform, I guess he would still be cheering ZZ on from wherever he may be; just like all of us here.

Apart from his Chinese and Thai fans, I think ZZ's Korean fans are one of his most passionate ones and they are really nice and polite too. And as always, ZZ's charisma and charm are bound to keep his fans spellbound - he just has a special way of weaving his own brand of magic into everything he says and does. ZZ, I wish you all the best and hope your concert will be Seoul good and a huge success. 화이팅!

@skeletonworks Do you know whether Weibo automatically logs users off after long hours of inactivity, which is why JY needs to log on and off so frequently to access his account? (I haven't left my Weibo account logged on for long periods so I can't really tell whether I'll be automatically logged off)

Looking at the screencap from whaleandmonkey, the duration JY seemingly logged on is quite short whenever he logs on to his Weibo account so there is a possibility of a bug. Still, I choose to believe that JY was really logging on to his Weibo account to check up on ZZ. I'm pretty sure JY was a bit antsy as ZZ took a red-eye flight and to know that the flight was delayed, JY would definitely have been quite anxious.

I pity ZZ too as he had to leave his hotel around 2am plus and yet, he only arrived in Beijing about 10am plus. I hope he gets enough rest so that he's all recharged when he touches down in Seoul later today. I'm sure his Korean fans are really excited and can't wait to greet him at Incheon Airport. As for me, and all of us, I guess we would all be looking forward to see ZZ's next batch of pictures in South Korea. I think his Korean fans would be like his Thai fans....they respect his privacy and will give him enough personal space to move about comfortably which should make him happy in Seoul just as he was in Bangkok.

@charlie10 The poster (史小鹏) said this about ZZ: "Acting / performing is every actor's / performer's profession. He (referring to ZZ) was just being very committed to his work, so why is he being hurt time and again? He's a young actor / performing artiste who strives hard and is very dedicated to what he does."

He didn't mention any shows but since ZZ's first movie didn't create such a huge uproar, I guess we can assume he's hinting about Addicted (assuming the ban is the reason behind why ZZ was edited out of the Avenue of Star Super Edition show). But there might be other underlying reasons as well which we wouldn't know as the poster did not elaborate. Anyway, ZZ will bounce back from this...nothing can keep him down for too long. He's not the kind who gives up easily and with his fans standing behind him, I believe he will go far and he will prove all his naysayers and detractors wrong in time to come.

And oh yes, I like JY's shoes too...I kept looking at them with each stride he took in the video clip but it's not so clear. But now thanks to your link, I can catch a better glimpse of it.

Looks like the upcoming two months would be something to look forward to for you....first, will be ZZ's concert followed by Jay Chou's a week later. I hope you have a really good time at both concerts =) Actually, I kinda like watching Jay Chou playing the piano more than hearing him sing....I'm still very much impressed with his face-off piano scene in The Secret and many other videos of him tinkling the ivory keys...he's just so talented.

Anyway, back to ZZ...I do hope ZZ will perform some of the songs he has covered before, apart from the official tracks in his album as well as Towards the Light. I also hope there will be live streaming again for his subsequent concerts. I really enjoyed his performance at the Beijing concert and I believe that his upcoming concerts would be just as entertaining, if not better.

@Scandani I love ZZ's cover of Jay Chou's What Kind of Man too. Although I admire Jay Chou's piano playing and composing skills a lot, I seriously dislike his pronunciation in that song. (For me, I think Jay Chou's pronunciation is clearer and better in this piece - it's one of my favourite songs of his). To digress, I wish ZZ would sing What Kind of Man in full. I feel that his version is better than Jay Chou's...kinda heart-tugging somehow (maybe it's coz he might be dedicating the song to someone =) Jay Chou's version didn't evoke that kind of feeling in me, though.

Just something trivial...in the Youku video, after JY said 对我爸妈 (treat my mom and dad...), he followed the sentence with 对你的父母 (treat your father and mother...). Maybe I'm just over interpreting but somehow, I find it a little odd that JY suddenly changed the personal pronoun from 我 (I) to 你 (you). 

Who is the 你 (you) that JY is referring to? =) I'm not too sure if he meant to say that he hopes to find someone who treats his parents well and he, in turn, will also treat that other person's parents well.

As for "what if the person JY is referring to might be a girl", well, JY didn't use 女 (girl) when he was describing what he would look for in a person he likes. He started off answering the question this way: 希望找的就是...希望找的还是 (hoping to find...) For me, as long as he didn't specify the gender, I'm still Ok with his ambiguity; meaning there's still a tiny glimmer of hope for me as a shipper =)

Of late, the way JY answers questions regarding the characteristics he looks for in the person he likes no longer revolves around physical appearances...he stresses more on the person's character. This is different from the way he used to answer questions about his ideal girl back in say, March. At least back then, you can be sure that he is referring to a girl and he stated that he likes girls with long hair, thick lower lips, etc.

During the ELLEMEN interview, ZZ was cheekily hinting to viewers via hand gestures that JY kinda likes girls who are voluptuous.

(ZZ's actions really cracked me up =D

Anyway, in the ELLEMEN interview, JY was also asked to describe what are the three characteristics that he'd look for in his ideal girl and he listed physical beauty, inner beauty and overall beauty.

Fast forward a few months later, it's quite obvious from the Youku segment that JY doesn't seems to care too much about the physical aspects anymore...what matters most to him is that he would be able to get along well with the person he likes and that the person would be filial to both his parents and grandparents and treats them well. 

Well, I hope he will be able to find that special someone; that's if he hasn't one already =)

@skeletonworks JY did say he's now holding a 蓝 带 (lán dài - blue belt) at the Yoka interview. Please correct me if I'm wrong but during competitions, participants will be wearing the colour of the belt depending on what level they are currently in.

Prior to his blue belt, JY was holding a white belt. So before he passes the stage / gets through the competition, he will still be donning his white belt...the blue belt should be awarded only after he passed the stage. I've lost track of his Jujitsu competitions this year...so I can't be too sure when the change of belt colour exactly occurred.

To sidetrack, do you know JY's Jujitsu schedules? This might help to solve the mystery of the rash / insect bite / mild bruise on his neck....assuming it's a light bruise sustained from Jujitsu practices....but of course, the delulu in me is hoping otherwise =D But actually, it might not really matter anymore coz if JY's truly relocating to Beijing, he will have a new set of Jujitsu practice schedule anyway.

Oh btw, JY will be heading for the Paris Fashion Week (Men's Wear) on June 23 so there's still a chance he might be able to attend the cosmetics event on June 18 but I don't dare to get my hopes up too high, though.

I know JY winks sometimes in certain photos but in his latest Weibo post, his "winking style" is almost similar to another of his Weibo post which was taken on his birthday last year...the only thing missing is the half-heart gesture. It made me jump to my own conclusion: Looks like there are now three occasions when ZZ changed the lyrics or emphasised the word 爱 (love) while singing at the Shanghai fan meeting.

1) While singing 爱
2) While singing 流星雨
3) While singing 味道
(This one, I think it could be just me being delulu because it has never been pointed out before....so perhaps I'm just over analysing / over thinking each time I see ZZ emphasising the word 爱 =)

I wonder if analysis were to be done on ZZ's expression each time the word 爱 pops up while singing at the Shanghai fan meeting, would one be able to unearth more hidden gems?

Truth be told, during the early days (like maybe late February or early March), I always thought that it was JY who liked ZZ and ZZ was being too shy to reciprocate JY's feelings. But now, as time passes and with little snippets of information being unveiled, my perception is slowly changing. I really like the way ZZ subtly and indirectly confesses his feelings or shows his affections towards JY...it just makes my heart melt.

On the food he likes for breakfast:

(The segment below is actually the last part of the interview but I decide to start with it first just because it’s interesting…to me, at least =) 

Interviewer: Zhouzhou, what is the first thing you do when you wake up?
ZZ (being cheeky): The first thing that I do when I wake up is to open my eyes. (Oh, ZZ, don’t we all do that? =D
(ZZ then answers the interviewer's question again)
ZZ: The first thing that I do when I wake up is to open the window and breathe in the fresh air.

(ZZ was holding three sheets of paper that are filled with pictures. On every paper, there are pictures of various types of healthy breakfast choices.)

Interviewer: What do you usually like to eat for breakfast?
ZZ: On the first set of pictures, I chose orange juice, avocado and sandwich because I feel that when one wakes up in the morning, (it’s good) to first drink a glass of orange juice, eat a piece of fruit as well as a slice of sandwich to make one’s stomach full. 

On the second set of pictures, I selected milk, 黄瓜 (huáng guā - cucumber)  and 白粥 (bái zhōu - porridge). I selected milk because I feel we need a beverage that can be easily absorbed by our body. As for porridge (ZZ says this with a smile), I like eating porridge the most. 
(Somehow for me, because of the way ZZ said it with a slight smile on his face, it felt like he's saying it because he considers himself a 白 粥 (bái zhōu ) that's why it's only natural for him to like  白 粥 too =)

And, I chose cucumber because I feel that it can make one's stomach full (really? that's the first time I heard of this =) Also, cucumber is refreshing and nice to eat. 

On the last set of pictures, I chose yoghurt, bread and poached egg…(they are) delicious and able to fill up one's stomach.

Firstly, ZZ mentioned 粥 (zhōu) and 黄 (huáng) one after another (yes, I know that it can't be helped as it’s a name of the food but still…. =) 
Secondly, during his Beijing fan sign meet, didn’t ZZ’s friend Ryan say that he likes to eat cucumber? But from this interview, it looks like it’s actually ZZ himself who likes to eat cucumber =D

To me, it looks like ZZ just want to somehow mention JY indirectly in his fan sign meeting =) I think it was a very impromptu decision on ZZ’s end on trying to link between Ryan’s yellow jacket and cucumber, that’s why Ryan was slightly flustered on stage during the brief “I like cucumber” segment. 

On his attractiveness level:

Interviewer: Do you think your attractiveness level / face value is very high?
ZZ: Yeah, high.
Interviewer: Out of 100 points, how many points would you rate yourself?
ZZ: Erm...90 points.
Interviewer: Where do the remaining 10 points go? Which part (of you) that you're not satisfied with?
ZZ: (I'm deducting) the balance 10 points so that I won't get too conceited (about my looks).

Interviewer: For the 90 points that you gave yourself, which part of you do they go to?
ZZ: My body and my youthfulness, haha. My positive attitude, 阳光 (yáng guāng - warm and sunny disposition....it could also mean someone who's transparent and open to public scrutiny) as well as passionate in learning things.
Interviewer: Are you bragging about yourself?
ZZ: Hahaha. That's Ok, right?

 

On being a teen idol and his first love:

Interviewer: Would you consider yourself as a 小鲜肉 (xiǎo xiān ròu - teen idol / a boy between the ages of 12 and 25 years old who is young and very good-looking)
ZZ: Yes, I do.
Interviewer: in your opinion, when one can no longer be considered as a 小鲜肉?
ZZ: Hmmm....for me, actually, I feel the term 小鲜肉 refers to vigour and vitality of spirit. On top of that, it also refers to one's appearance, being positive, dynamic, as well as being relatively youthful and energetic.

Interviewer: When was your first love?
ZZ: First love? It should be when I was in the third grade of my middle high school year. I was 15 then.
Interviewer: Did you hide your relationship from your parents or did you let them know?
ZZ: Em..I concealed my relationship from my parents. 
Interviewer: Later on, did your parents find out about your relationship? 
ZZ: No, they never found out. By the time they found out about it, I've already broken up with my girlfriend.
Interviewer: If you were to be dating now, would you go public with your relationship?
ZZ: If I were to date now? ...For now, I don't have any plans to date. Firstly, it's because I'm quite busy. Also, if I were to date now, I might not be able to carry out my duty as a boyfriend responsibly.
Interviewer: No time to set appointment to go on dates.
ZZ: That's right. Hahaha.

 

On his concerts:

Interviewer: Do you have any (upcoming) plans?
ZZ: My next plan / programme would be ...well, for the next two to three months, I'll be busy with my 签唱会 (qiān chàng huì -  [fan] sign concert) as my album has just been released. So, I'll be holding concerts at these places...at Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and many other specific venues as well as in South Korea and Thailand.
Interviewer: Do you think you will be nervous during your concert?
ZZ: Erm...I should think not. But maybe when I'm at the concert venue, I guess I might feel a little excited.
Interviewer: Will there be music and dance performances?
ZZ: Of course!

Interviewer: At your concerts, which song do you want to sing the most?
ZZ: I want to sing every song (in my album) for everybody to listen to.
Interviewer: Which song do you want to sing most to yourself?
ZZ: The song that I want to sing most to myself would be...erm...光  (guāng - Light). This song is the title for my recently released album.

(ZZ used the word 签唱会 throughout instead of 演唱会 (yǎn chàng huì - concert)...this makes me wonder whether the ones in Bangkok and Seoul is a fan sign meet or a full-fledged concert)

 

On Libra characteristics and what he would do if he spends a day with a fan:

Interviewer: Do you possess any Libra characteristics?
ZZ: I guess so. Sometimes, I would hesitate when the time comes to choose or decide (on something). For me, it's a bit hard to make decisions. However, once I make up my mind, I'll move forward and will no longer hesitate.

Interviewer: If a fan were to spend time with you for one day, how would you plan the day for him / her?
ZZ: Spend one day with my fan?...Then I'll treat it as though I'm spending time with a friend...have a meal together. 
Interviewer: What about going to an amusement park?
ZZ: (Sounding a bit indignant) Isn’t that more suitable for a date between a boyfriend and a girlfriend?
Interviewer: Not really. I do that.
ZZ: Really? You've been to an amusement park before (with someone who's not your girlfriend)?! Ok. After all, I guess (you start off) with not being really familiar with the person but when you communicate more, then slowly, you will get to know the person better and be more familiar with him / her.

On the things he ponder upon:

Interviewer: Do you think your life right now is a bit inconvenient? Take for instance each time you step out from your house, you seems to get stopped often and everywhere you go, people just somehow tend to single you out / able to find you?
ZZ: For me things are still Ok for now. Maybe my disguise is good.

Interviewer: These few months, you seems to have to gone through a lot, have you ever pondered over on whether things would change? 
ZZ: Well, i do think about it.

Interviewer: What are the things that you often ponder upon?
ZZ: You mean regarding problems and stuff like that? Recently, the thing that  I often wonder about is whether all this is just a dream?…what kind of situation is this? Haha. There are times when I feel I haven’t really reacted / responded to my current situation. It feels like I haven’t really woken up….sigh...and as it is, I still have to return to my current life...but this current life feels like a dream....once I wake up, I will still feel satisfied.

Interviewer: Do you fear that everything is not real?
ZZ: There are times that I do feel that way…a feeling that everything is just an illusion.

Interviewer: If suddenly there is one day when you realise that all this is really just a dream and you wake up with nothing in your hand; not even a penny to your name, would you still be strong enough to stand up (move on with your life)?
ZZ: Wake up with nothing? Hmmm… if I were to wake up with nothing, then my life would probably revert to the way it was in the past….this is a very normal learning process in life…..maybe? I don’t know….maybe I’d have to wait till I wake up from my dream before I say anything further.
