I live in Sweden and that yellow horse in the foreground is a "Dalahäst" and is a very typical Swedish thing. What on earth is it doing on a Chinese tv show? Weird.
Just a thought:
The person in charge of props might have purchased it at IKEA? I've seen the Dalahäst horses in some IKEA stores in Asian countries back in 2014 during the Year of the Horse. However, the horses were painted red, though. I'm not sure if the one on the interview set might have been painted yellow just to co-incide with HJY's surname of 黄 which also means yellow.

@bidubudu Thanks so much for posting up the Dust piano score - I like that the key is in C major - pieces with too many accidentals leave me (or my fingers) in despair since my sight reading is not quite up to mark
For those who'd like to play Walk Slowly on the piano:

@ximichem Did you sketch ZZ with a mechanical pencil? That's quite a feat...anyway, since both your sketches are done, I guess you can place them side by side and it will look as though both of them are gazing at each other =)

Guys, don't kill me.okay.. I know you love him singing ballads, I know you love his cool voice, and everything... but let's compromise okay, 50-50... please. Coming from a lover of the rock/alternative music genre myself, he's got a way too cool voice for a rock singer as well, right..
I don’t mind ZZ singing in whatever genre, actually. He’s versatile enough to adapt his voice to any genre, I feel.
He’s kinda like a Jack of all trades and master of them all, don't you think?I wonder if ZZ knows how to play the piano (or violin)?
If he ever composes a song featuring him playing on the piano, I know I’d hit the replay button many times…this quirk (or maybe, addiction?) of mine extends to all videos of him playing the guitar, too =)Apart from ballads, pop and rock songs, it’d be nice if ZZ can come up with a dance or upbeat song where he can showcase his dancing and choreography skills and perhaps, a hip-hop number too, where he can display his beatboxing talent.

Wei Zhou’s I Remember Your Eyes is not exactly new. Part of the song has been released before – it’s the third song in his Changba account.
http://changba.com/now/userPage.php?uid=55176485#work_listEven so, as a ZhouYu shipper, I’d like to think the song was purposely released in full just to co-incide with the meeting up between ZZ and JY today at Happy Camp....A happy camper, I am =)

@ximichem What a gorgeous sketch of JY...can you please do one on Wei Zhou as well? Btw, I admire your collection of pencils too - I can see that you used 2B, 2H, 4B and 6B to sketch JY out.

Xu Wei Zhou - I Remember Your Eyes
I think, I remember your eyes
I want, to treat you alright
I'm feeling, the sky in my heart
I remember your eyes
I'll leave it at night
I want to fly and bring you back
Just give me, a reason to keep my heart beating
Don't worry, it's safe now
You're right here in my arm

It should be fried youtiao (dough stick). It's a popular breakfast dish in Chinese communities all over the world. It's crispy and savory. Best eaten with a hot bowl of beancurd.
Oic, I'm not used to seeing them in that shape. I've only seen the straight, non-twisted ones which some people dunk into coffee or sliced into smaller pieces and then eaten with porridge. But I like it best with hot soya bean.

From ZZ's Beijing Newsfun Interview:
1) Why did ZZ look a little shy when he was asked who is his favourite Chinese actress? Would he have a similar expression if he was asked who is his favourite actor, I wonder.
2) ZZ’s hand wave is kinda similar to a Neko catYiruma’s River Flows in You is a beautiful composition and I’m glad that ZZ chose to play the song although I wished he had time to play it in full. There’s just something about watching good-looking guys playing the guitar so effortlessly =)
Here is a version by talented Korean guitarist Sungha Jung....he played the song quite beautifully.

@tea4two
Thank You or to quote ZZ, 감사합니다 (kamsahamnida)
I can’t seems to get enough of watching IG fancams of ZZ in Korea…even when he’s not doing anything much, he’s still cute to look atOn a side note, I think the over-zealous Chinese fans should take a leaf from the Korean fans…they were quite polite and didn’t go overboard in hounding ZZ or Chan Wen when they were in Korea.
I like that the Korean fans gave them both some space and didn’t overstep on their boundaries.- 4

Are there any Korean fans here? Do you guys know what are both Huang Jing Yu and Xu Wei Zhou’s names called in Korean?
And do their Korean names have any specific meaning like their Chinese name?
ZZ was called 주주 in Korea and it sounded really cuteI also saw some IG photos of ZZ looking at his phone with these wordings 콩 국 수 on top of a mini whale. I’m just guessing that’s how HJY’s name is written in Korean, is that right?

@lightyears As long as JY and ZZ are featured, I think any pic-heavy posts would be very much welcomed. I had a whale of a time scrolling through the pics
@aeislaeigh After reading your post on JY's biceps, I just realised that JY was wearing a T-shirt bearing his own initials. My eyes were just focusing on his face that I completely missed what was on his T-shirt till today

I've got questions to ask:
1) Is the screenshot from JingYu’s next drama series or is it an advert?
2) Is there something wrong with the girl’s cheeks? The make-up artist piled on too much blusher on her...hmm, was it done deliberately?Anyway, JY looks great in every shot. I just can’t help admiring the pictures.
I feel that JY will look good with anyone he’s paired up with regardless of gender… I’d even go as far as to say that he makes the girl look good just by being in the same picture as her- 5

And the catch fish in the pond which CJD also mentioned before that GH was supposed to be whole body naked in freezing water and learnt how to use hands to catch fish easily in the military's survival training... It's easier to fish with hand than with the fishing rod, Gu Hai thought.
Watching the behind the scenes of this particular scene made me felt very sorry for poor JY as he had to be in the cold water for quite some time.
Beijing’s temperature can dip below sub-zero throughout the month of December so you can imagine how much colder it was for JY in the freezing water.
However, I also think it’s some sort of a blessing that JY’s legs were entangled by the weeds otherwise he might have to wade even deeper or further into the water.
When filming was over, JY told the writer, CJD, that although he considered himself physically fit, he still found the water chilling to the bones….and JY was only knee-deep in the water, actually.
He added that if Gu Hai were to go into the water naked, he would have never made it out….which I agreed…he would be so numb that he couldn’t move or suffer from hypothermia if he manages to get out from the water.
But CJD just told JY not to question what she wrote.
Anyway, what I liked about this particular BTS was the conversation exchange between ZZ and JY as well as ZZ using his heat padded-torso to warm up JY’s legs. ZZ was also being cheeky and a tad over-dramatic at the same time.
ZZ told JY that he needs to get to the hospital quickly otherwise his legs might need to be amputated. LOL!
Throughout ZZ’s cheeky banter, JY looked sort of amused. And then comes the best part when JY asked ZZ (who was still rubbing his legs) on whether his legs are firm or not. ZZ was slightly surprised. After that, JY asked ZZ whether his calf is hard or not. ZZ was still in some sort of a daze. JY then asked the third question on whether his calf is firm or not. And ZZ still couldn’t answer JY properly. He just responded with a “Huh?” to all the three questions =D
I just couldn’t help wondering whether ZZ was distracted by JY’s truly firm and hard legs / calf that he was too dumbfounded to answer JY.Or, whether it’s because ZZ felt JY’s questions insinuated something else which was why he was too shy to reply to JY.
(I’d like to think it’s the former, though =)- 15

Wonder what would be the number in 24 hours. What time did he set up the instagram account?
By the way, how many fans do Johnny have on his instagram?
For now, Johnny has 180K followers.
I'm not sure what time ZZ set up his IG account, but he has garnered over 31K followers and steadily increasing. I won’t be surprised if the figure reaches 100K by the end of the week. A truly "Insta-sation", I must say
Followers of both Johnny and ZZ were endearingly cute…they were encouraging them to follow each other’s IG account…will they? Time can only tell.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter, I look forward to both their IG postings all the same.

If you guys refresh his IG account every minute or two, you'd notice his number of fans seems to increase by leaps and bounds. He's definitely a phenomenon of sorts. I don't think anybody would experience such a huge increase in the number of followers within such a short period of time. His followers will be hitting the 10K mark very soon.

Huang Jing Yu – Water Monkey
Xu Wei Zhou – Wood Dog
From the Net, it says the Dog and the Monkey have a harmonious relationship.
Someone once told me this (which is to be taken with a pinch of salt); the best (Chinese) zodiac compatibility is usually with a four-year age gap.
Some Monkey characteristics
- Those born under the sign of Monkey has to have freedom in their life to act as they want and can become unhappy if they are held back by too many restrictions.
- When it comes to work, Monkeys can do just about anything. They adapt well to changing environments as they are very intelligent.
- Sometimes, they can be a little narcissistic; believing that they are better than others.
- Monkeys do not commit easily but once they find someone they truly like, they will commit to that person wholeheartedly.
- Monkeys are good at getting what they want, and those born under this zodiac sign usually possess a bit of sex appeal.
- Monkeys are most compatible with those born under the sign of Rat and Dragon.
Some Dog characteristics
- Dogs are hard workers especially the Wood Dog. They make a good impression wherever they go. They are quite popular and have a good sense of humour.
- The Wood Dog is the most imaginative and creative one under the Dog sign. It is very focused and has clear goals in life. It also has a fascination and appreciation for the arts.
- Generally those born under the sign of dog are loyal, agreeable and compassionate.
- Dogs are most compatible with those born under the sign of Horse and Tiger.
