Throughout these past 4 years, there has been one constant, one common factor, that Yoona exhibits when LSG pops up in her mind or is being alluded to:
She turns her head away.
2014:

It's sad to see 2014 was her only happy one. I can't be 100% certain about 2015 and 2016, but it's a fair and reasonable assumption to make taking into consideration the contexts. First being two weeks after his album was released, second is when she was watching YOONAYA's video letter with old video clips of hers. it's only natural if she thought of him.
I think Yoona is still the same old Yoona at her core, but there is one big difference that separates the old Yoona and the post-break up Yoona.
The old Yoona was never really preoccupied with putting herself out there. She stayed off social media. From that aspect you could say she was shy and reserved. She was just fine and content without the need of opening any SNS accounts.
On the contrary, the post-break up Yoona seems to have turned her focus entirely on her career and the happiness of her fans. She opened Instagram on 27th September 2015 and weibo on 9th November 2015, something you'd never see the old Yoona do.
It may be contradictory to what I said before, but in that sense it makes me feel like she lost her essence. But that's me exaggerating and being a tad dramatic.
I don't know how much of that was her own willingness to do it, or more if she was pushed to do it.
Either way, that's who she is now, and that's where her mind is.
