9 Oct – Hong Kong actor Nicky Wu has recently dismissed rumours of his involvement in helping crew members seek sexual services from actresses.

Previously on 3 October, several screenshots of conversation were uploaded on Facebook by Taiwanese actor Liu Zhi-han, which talks about said sexual transactions.

The screenshots also hinted that Bosco Wong and Nicky Wu, the latter who allegedly plays the role of an Emperor in the drama, were indirectly involved in the matter.

However, as reported on Wenweipo News, Nicky has turned to Weibo to quell the rumours, urging the public not to believe such false reports and jump to conclusions.

His agency also issued an official statement, saying, "First and foremost, Mr. Wu has never taken a role of an emperor in any recent drama. Thus the rumour is false."

"Secondly, Mr. Wu has lately been preparing a new production, in which none of the crew members who are reported to be involved in the scandal are part of. In short, while the source of this rumour is still unknown, the company reserves the right to take legal action."

Meanwhile, Bosco Wong has yet to make his response about the issue.
