Today's ingredients

STEP 1

Dice up the onion.

STEP 2

Peel the carrot. Slice them into carrot sticks and dice them up too.

STEP 3

Put the carrots, onions, and broth in the pan to simmer.

STEP 4

Roll the meat in the deep-frying batter and heat the oil for deep-frying. All is going well

STEP 5

Put the meat into the oil to fry. MMmmmm~ looking good.

STEP 6

Decorate the plate with some spinach/lettuce and ZZANG ZZANG ~! A beautiful and delicious dish!

STEP 7

Then you treat your old director/producer friend who has taken care of you ^^ Pour broth before serving

SAFETY FIRST!!! THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WHEN YOU'RE DEEP-FRYING!!!

When you're deep-frying, splashing hot oil on yourself is inevitable:

As is setting setting your house or yourself on fire

So these are the safety measures our chef recommends

The mask effectively covers the face , and there is protective covering for most of the upper body.

But the thing to note is the detachable gloves.

They can be taken off for that's that require greater dexterity...like holding chopticks.

And be put back on when you're putting the cover on a hot pot and the pan beside you decides to flare up in flames ^^

Our cook demonstrates the relief felt when you realize you've escaped the fire unscathed.

Aren't you glad that safety measures were taken?

As our chef realized, for most people, going that close to the fire ( DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME ! XD) is considered risky...so our chef also recommend very long tongs.

Treating his friend ^^ I think it's sweet how Dongwan went out of his way to treat someone behind the scenes of all those dramas we see and songs we hear instead of just a fellow celeb like what usually happens in the other episodes.

And due to the time consuming safety preparations when he cooks...I guess this is why Dongwan has to resort to this.......

Bringing his own rice and eating at the sampling stalls in the supermarket~!

DW always make me laugh... It's the first time I've seen a Shinhwa member in that much clothing, during summer!!! I hope that there's no hard feelings for MW because I remember when he was on Manwon Haengbok, the Shinhwa members were being mean to him... They wouldn't share food with him and stopped others from helping MW... But I'm sure the boys are just being playful... But yeah, 10 bucks a week, that's insane!

wannie is so funny!!! so many precautions to cook!! shows how much effort he put into making that dish for someone though. guess he doesnt cook much. thats ingenious of him to bring rice with him to sample stuff!! free food (for manwon purposes)! im sure if any of the members ever needed food they can always freeload off another member!
