written summary for episode 5 monday

한 밤중에 산(이서진)은 자객에게 암살될 뻔한 위기를 맞는데 그 자객은 극약을 먹

고 스스로 목숨을 끊어버린다. 산은 자신의 목숨을 노리는 자를 밝혀내고자 하지만

시체는 커녕 침전에 싸운 흔적조차 찾을 수가 없다. 갑자기 등장한 영조(이순재) 또

한 이 상황에 대해 의아해하는데.

다음 날 화완옹주(성현아)가 찾아와 근심 가득한 영조의 기분을 풀어주며 지난밤의

이야기를 꺼낸다. 저자거리에서 최석주(조경환)를 만난 화완옹주는 그에게 무언가

를 부탁한다.

그간 있었던 수많은 암살위협에 지친 산은 우연히 소주방에 가던 생각시를 만나 어

릴 적 송연을 떠올린다. 그리고 그 자리에서 만난 남사초(맹상훈)에게 자객의 입에

서 나온 극약의 출처를 알아봐달라고 부탁한다.

^dramaok, why don't you try using picoodle? www.picoodle.com I always use picoodle if I'm uploading pictures on a forum board. i wld save it frm imbc and then re-upload it. (except for the lotte wrld thingy coz it wasn't pics of the yi san cast so i felt it was hardly wrth the trouble to save onto my comp and take up my memory space) i never use imageshack coz there'll always be the frog problem when ppl start hotlinking.

There are bound to be ppl hotlinking stuff frm baidu and forums so I alwys use picoodle, so far it has not expired on me yet..(6 months and counting..!)

O ya, btw dramaok, u seem to have left out the link to Yi San's homepage in ur 1st post.

Abt Lotte, are they holding some sort of event thing for Yi San? I saw ppl holding Lotte tickets and stuff. Will the public get to like catch them filming on set or something if they have a ticket? (I remember Ju-Mong fans in Korea last year were able to take snap shots of the cast crew filming..)

I disagree abt the Princess' red lips, I think it's hot. Plus, thick makeup and Marilyn Monroe lips = EVIL WOMAN LOL (Think Miranda Priestly and Choi Sang Gong)

P.S.: Have they extended the no. of episodes now? I thought it was originally 50 episodes? gah, these period dramas..

Some happy news for our wonderful soompiers.. I have decided to coordinate this project with the fabulous MrsKorea and we will do this project as an INDEPENDENT PROJECT. Of course, my fellow WITH S2 members will help us out if needed, but this project is NOT a WITH S2 project.

It's an independent project with MrsKorea subbing on her own and me helping her out. Our progress will be slower (since MrsKorea is subbing Legend for WITH S2 also)- but we will do the best we can. The subs might not be as flawless.. but MrsKorea is one of the best translator I've known.. so we're in great shape.

Please cheer us on.. as it's 60 episodes (* thank you mic for the correction.. OMG.. *faint*) .. but we are both very dedicated and it's our goal to finish off this project.!!!

okay thx for letting me know about picoodle. and the missing link to HP on the first post. i swear i had it before but i must have deleted it somehow. i think in the very very beginning when they were first making this it was slated for 50 episodes, but as soon as it went into production it was released to press that it would be 60. but then again things like that always change.

Ep. 5 Preview:

During the night, San (Lee Seo-Jin) meets danger and faces his assassin,

but the assassin eats poison and kills himself.

San wants investigation to find out who ordered for his killing,

but the body which was placed on the mattress disappeares without a trace.

Just then Yeongjo (Lee Sun-Jae) shows up and finds the circumstance doubtful.

Next day, Princess Hwa-Wan (Seong Hyeon-Ah) comes to see Yeongjo and seeing him troubled,

she tries to cheer him up and brings up the event that occurred the other night.

Then Princess Hwa-Wan meets with Choi Seok-Ju (Jo Kyeong-Hwan) by the streets in town and she asks him to do something.

San, who has endured many assassination attempts all this time, on occassion sees the little maids going toward the palace kitchen,

I really want to watch this because the pictures are so nice, but then it's 50 - 60 episodes long. I had a hard time finishing Jumong (still have last 20 episodes to go) and now I will need to start another long series again.......but I am excited!

I am so hooked on this drama. I am watching all three sageuks that are out right now ....

and to be HONEST....

King and I's plot is getting kind of old and slow.

THe Legend...episode 6 was really not as good as I expected. (it's hard to keep that level of "WOW")

However, Yisan's storyline, tension, awesome and perfect cast....really has me hooked.

So....for me

Yi San is the best so far.. plus there's so much to look forward to in the future episodes, especially when the evil 9th daughter(the woman ifrom 'Bad woman, good woman') of king Yeong Jo comes out. She just exudes evil. Can't wait~~~~~

One thing: I love that LSJ appeared in end of ep 4, but why did I feel such a sense of loss and sadness knowing that the little kid Yisan's part in this drama is over???

It's so bittersweet. I love that little boy.

TWSG is kinda disappointing and King and I is too dull for me.
