Kwon Sang Woo learns dancing to prepare for a new drama

The hallyu star Kwon Sang Woo is joining a special training course to prepare for new drama Dae Mul. In this film, Kwon Sang Woo plays a wealthy man who uses dancing to flirt girls. Because this character is good at dancing, Kwon Sang Woo must join that special course.

The manager of production company revealed "Kwon Sang Woo does this course 5 days a week. He learns both classical and modern music genres."

Dea Mul, the 10-billion-won project of SBS, is based on the manhwa of the same name written by painter Park In Kwon. It tells the story of the first female Korean President. In this film, Kwon Sang Woo plays a top wealthy guy who then helps Suh Hye Rim (played by Gong Hyun Jung) step to the highest rank with all his strength.

This film will start to be shot soon and be aired from August.

Kwon-Song-So-Lee: Big4 has come back

After Bae Yong Joon came back to the small screen in the end of last year, 4 big Hallyu stars also have their plan to come back to the small screen in the half end of 2008 and beginning of 2009.

They have one thing in common that is Big4 has chosen bigs projects in which they will have some outside scenes overseas. This news can satisfy the audience inside and outside country for their long waiting.

First, Kwon Sang Woo appears in Dae Mul (20 episodes) of SBS. This is the drama, based on the same name manhwa, has the investment about 10 billions won and has been preparing in 2 years by SBS channel. Dae Mul will film outside scenes in Japan.

Song Seung Hun comes back to the small screen after 5 years disappearing with a special project of MBC East Of Eden (50 episodes). This drama has the background of Korea’s 40 years development with the investment up to 25 billions won.

So Ji Sub appears in Cain And Abel (20 episodes) of SBS. This is the big project that has scheduled last year right after So Ji Sub leaving the army. However, because of some reasons, this drama may begin to start filming until this June. Cain And Abel has some scenes that will be done in US.

Lee Byung Hun has decided to come back to the small screen after 5 years with a drama named Iris (20 episodes). The drama, about intelligent spy, has investment up to 20 billions won and will be filmed outside scenes in US, Japan, Russia, China.

It’s for sure that the coming back of these big stars will bring hope to Korea drama that seems to set back in Asia.
