Why Are You Single?

Today at school we had a discussion between a couple singles and a couple people who are in relationships. (yeah I know we should be studying, but this is more fun:))

The question was basically: Why are you single?

Most singles answered: Because the good men/women are already taken.

Following that logic, if you're not taken, doesn't that mean that you're not a good man/woman?

Why do you think so many people are single? And what are your reasons?

LOL I laugh when I hear or see it.

Its either your chicken, not assertive, got high standards, luck aint on your side right now, or you really need to raise your self esteem.

by the way, I'm single and I do fit into one of these.

i'm single b/c

1) i need to focus on academics right as of the moment (going into junior year woohoo...)/ i'm just so busy all the time O_O

2) i think i may have an 'intimidating' personality maybe? i don't open up to people very well...

3) i guess i'm scared of heartbreak/hurt from being in relationships too...

I'm at a more observant pace right now. I am still pretty young, and I'd like to date guys in this period of time. Meaning, conversations and just having a simple good time. Then maybe love will find its way but honestly, I'm in no hurry. I've got academics to worry about with work. I am married to my school work, how do you love that?

Personally, I'm single because I don't want to go looking for a guy. Most guys now and days pisses me off.

They would say offensive words to me, which makes me want to slap them.

And second, I'm easy to get along but hard to open up. Oh, college is coming up.. In August. xP

Otherwise, I've been single for the past 15 years because I'm ugly. Haha, no, I just don't make much of an effort to meet potential boyfriends.

been single for a year now and ah. i dunno. just concentrating on my last year at school.

plus hearing about my ex still liking me... i think people have tried to stay away from me because of that. lol.

plus i'm more free. xD but i really don't want to make a big committment for a while. it sucks but i need to concentrate.

i missed being single when i was with someone. =] but i miss being loved.. sighh~
