i really CANNOT believe Japan won. they announced it so quickly....dang..i thought brazil was going to win.

she was so much better!!!

all japan did was wave her dress around and talk about dance all the time. ARGHHGHGGHH

and KOREA definitely did MUCH better than japan. point wise, look wise, personality wise.

ever since i found out how miss japan bashed people on her blog or something i never had any respect for her.

...I don't know about any of the other translators but Korea's sucked, the lady made it seem like all Lee wanted was money AND her english sucked, ugh. I knew Korea was not gonna win once I heard that translator completely butcher what LHN meant with her statement.

oh yeah...Japan...I'm surprised she even made it to the top five, but then she won...eh??? I thought the other four, not to mention last year's delegate from Japan, were much better than her.

well...congrats to her anyway...

omfg...that was soo disappointing!

out of all contestants..i expected japan to be the first to get eliminated!

honestly she's not that pretty and she doesn't possess that elegance and grace which i thought either Korea or Brazil did!

i don't know what happened....but let's just say....it's sad!!

Honestly....i'm sad for Ms. korea....i can't believe she was 3rd runner up. Her answer about missionary and third-world countries were good...and the last part about the wallet was more so a joke i think. i think she needed a better translator!

I think that Japan and Venezuela kind of didn't answer the question...or just that it was incomplete.

I would be so happy if Korea or Brazil were to have been crowned Miss Universe.

And what was with the booing?? The poor girl already has to suffer the embarrassment of falling on live television (which by the way will be replayed over and over again...)

And Miss Korea's answer was translated so poorly ......Im sure there are hundreds of Korean-English translaters much better than the one provided for the contest.

And Japan winning??? Last years was the crowd favorite but she didnt win .

i think venezuela should've won.... she was so gorgeous and sweet looking... i'm REALLY disappointed that japan won. what the heck. she wasn't pretty.. in the least. and way too confident. that little flip thing she did with her gown was so annoying . i'm so disappointed AGAIN!!!! last year, japan DEFINITELY should've won. and this year.... it should've been anyone else but japan .

if korea's answer to the question were better, i think she could've had a chance to win. blah.
