The long-awaited Netflix variety show “Busted!” will finally be premiering!

Described as an investigative variety show that has a “never-before-seen format,” “Busted!” has been in the works since 2017. It features a main cast made up of Yoo Jae Suk, Ahn Jae Wook, Kim Jong Min, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Min Young, EXO’s Sehun, and gugudan’s Kim Sejeong as “detectives.”

With their different strengths and weaknesses, this motley crew of detectives must solve various mysteries with unexpected conclusions awaiting them. Different special guests will also go head-to-head with the main cast every week, such as the previously confirmed Yoo Yeon Seok.

The program is notably headed by producing directors Jang Hyuk Jae, Jo Hyo Jin, and Kim Joo Hyung, who have worked on popular variety shows like “X-Man,” “Running Man,” and “Family Outing.”

Two episodes will be released worldwide weekly through Netflix over a period of five weeks, for a total of 10 episodes. It is set to premiere on May 4

Park Min Young Confirmed To Join Park Seo Joon In New Romantic Comedy Drama

 

 

Following Park Seo Joon’s confirmation for a new tvN drama, Park Min Young has also confirmed.

 

The Wednesday-Thursday drama “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?” (tentative title) is based on a popular webtoon series of the same name and is a romantic story about the perfect but narcissistic second generation heir Lee Young Joon and his “Legend of the Secretary World” assistant Kim Mi So.

 

A source stated, “Park Min Young will play Kim Mi So and pull off sweet but feisty chemistry with Park Seo Joon, who previously confirmed his own casting in the drama.”

 

Kim Mi So is a flawless secretary with a bright smile who has worked for Lee Young Joon (played by Park Seo Joon) for nine years. She is both talented and beautiful, but she has never been in a relationship before. In the drama, Kim Mi So submits a letter of resignation to Lee Young Joon with a smile on her face, presenting him with a massive headache.

 

Park Min Young appeared in many dramas of diverse genres, such as “City Hunter,” “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” and “Remember.” However, this will be her first time appearing in a romantic comedy drama. A source from “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?” stated, “We felt that Park Min Young, who has gained the viewers’ trust through her solid acting skills in every single work, was fit for the role of Kim Mi So.”

“What’s Wong With Secretary Kim?” will air sometime in mid-June.

New Netflix Variety Drops Poster Featuring EXO’s Sehun, Park Min Young, Yoo Jae Suk, And More

 

“Busted!” is the first Netflix original Korean variety show about seven celebrity detectives and their attempts at solving mysteries. It will be directed by a production company that consists of star producing directors Jo Hyun Jin, Jang Hyuk Jae, and Kim Joo Hyung whose past works include hit shows like “X-Man,” “Running Man,” and “Family Outing.”

The teaser poster shows EXO’s Sehun, Kim Jong Min, Park Min Young, Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, Ahn Jae Wook, and gugudan’s Kim Sejeong reacting in shock to a bloody body in front of them.

Netflix will release two episodes every week featuring a special guest for every episode. The show will run for five weeks, providing viewers with 10 episodes of this new mystery variety show.

“Busted!” will premiere on May 4 on Netflix in 190 countries to its 117 million subscribers.

On April 10, a source from his agency JYP Entertainment confirmed, “Hwang Chansung is starring in new tvN drama ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?’ (literal translation) as Yooil Group employee Go Gwi Nam.”

This will be Chansung’s first television drama since “Queen for Seven Days” in 2017.

“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” is a drama based on a popular webtoon series of the same name. Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young have been confirmed as the leading actors.

The drama is set to begin airing sometime in June.

Lee Tae Hwan Confirmed For Love Triangle With Park Min Young And Park Seo Joon In New Drama

 

On April 11, Lee Tae Hwan’s agency Fantagio confirmed that the actor has accepted the offer to appear in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” (tentative title). He will play the role of a swoon-worthy bestselling author named Lee Sung Yeon, who is also the older brother of Park Seo Joon’s character Lee Young Joon.

Lee Sung Yeon shows interest in Park Min Young’s character Kim Mi So, and he is sweet to everyone except to his brother Lee Young Joon.

“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” follows the romance between narcissistic second generation chaebol Lee Young Joon and his assistant Kim Mi So. 2PM’s Chansung is also part of the cast, and the drama will air sometime in June.
