Harry Brant attended the the Christian Dior Cruise 2015 collection on 7 May 2014 in Brooklyn, New York City. Harry Brant wore an ensemble from Dior Homme Fall Winter 2014 by Kris Van Assche. I think he is the first person to be publicly seen in an outfit from this collection. Absolutely adore (or j'adore) the trousers embroidered with the lilies of the valley. Wish I could find a proper full length picture of Harry Brant.

Yes agree with you Bianca, only KDW can nailed that. Harry Brant is an American socialite,the son of billionaire and he is a model, with his older brother Peter Brant Jr, they are considered the 'It' boys of New York City . KDW and Harry has a same Chaebol background, and no wonders both of them love Dior   )

Upcoming South Korean movie ‘My Brilliant Life‘ which has been gaining much attention because of Gang Dong Won and Song Hye Kyo, held a NAVER movie talk show which was hosted by Park Kyung Lim at 9PM (KST) last night (August 12th), and saw the attendance of director E J Yong, Gang Dong Won, Song Hye Kyo, and Jung Jae Hyung.

‘My Brilliant Life’ tells the story of a young couple (Gang Dong Won, Song Hye Kyo) who become parents at a relatively young age, but finds out that their child has Progeria syndrome, which is a rare genetic defect that will cause their baby to show advanced aging from an early age. The talk show saw footage of the movie’s filming, and various related clips being shown, and there was also a live performance by the movie’s music director, Jung Jae Hyung.

Song Hye Kyo revealed the reason for appearing in the movie, “I immediately decided on taking the role after reading the script. I have always wanted to work with the director, and I finally had the opportunity to do so, so I didn’t want to miss it.” Gang Dong Won and Jung Jae Hyung meanwhile revealed that the script had touched their hearts greatly.

Director E J Yong said, “I wanted to mainly present the side of a young couple who are willing to give up everything for their family and child. The ages of Song Hye Kyo and Gang Dong Won fitted the roles perfectly, and I wanted to show everyone another side of them.”

Gang Dong Won meanwhile rated Song Hye Kyo who plays his wife Mi Ra in the movie, “The movie showed me that Song Hye Kyo can also be foul-mouthed, and that she has a steely woman side.” Song Hye Kyo meanwhile expressed that her ‘husband’ Gang Dong Won had a bright personality and was very mischievous.

Gang Dong Won revealed that he had analysed his role beforehand and felt that it would be more realistic if his Dae Soo role appeared fuller and well-rounded. So he dieted and exercised, and gained 10 kilos in the process. Song Hye Kyo meanwhile rehearsed mouthing foul words for her role as Mi Ra, and would ask Gang Dong Won for tips if she needed to do it in dialect.

Jung Jae Hyung said, “The parents’ love in the movie is really touching. The next-door grandpa and A-Reum’s friend also left one feeling touched. I always considered the phrase ‘disturbed’ while composing the music, and wanted to produce a heart-warming song.”

Director E J Yong said at the end, “The story might seem to focus on A-Reum, but it’s also a story about a young couple who give up on their dreams for their child. I hope that everyone can view this movie with a warm heart.” Gang Dong Won said, “The movie has made me look back at the times when I was in my teens and early 20s. It has also made me think about my parents and family members, and I hope that everyone can take a step back and discover the meaning of family and life after watching the movie.”

‘My Brilliant Life’ will open in cinemas on September 3rd.

“My Brilliant Life” to Make Your Heart Beat this Autumn

“My Brilliant Life” (director Lee Jae-yong, produced by ZIP CINE), starring Kang Dong-won and Song Hye-gyo, is set to make the audience cry and laugh this autumn. The first half of this year was dominated by intense action and thriller movies. Ryu Seung-ryong’s action suspense movie “The Target” in April followed by crime thriller “A Hard Day” in May starring Lee Seon-gyun and Cho Jing-wung were both fast-paced and creatively devised. However, the closing half of the year will be more toned down. Heartwarming stories are in the lineup, and “My Brilliant Life” is one of them. 
Coming this autumn, “My Brilliant Life” tells the story of a young couple who became parents at the age of seventeen and their teenage son who is turning seventeen but living in the body of an eighty-year-old. Those who have been waiting long for an inspiring story should not miss this movie featuring heartwarming characters: parents who want to protect their quickly aging child, their son’s only friend Mr. Jang (Baek Il-seop), and their straightforward doctor (Lee Seong-min). 
Kang Dong-won returns to the screen not with a powerful aura, but as the playful father Dae-soo who is devoted to his family. Song Hye-gyo plays the role of cheerful, undefeated mother Mira. The two will bring emotive, melodramatic acting to the theaters that were dominated by rough action-packed stories in the first half of the year. Based on the novel of the same name by Kim Ae-ran, “My Brilliant Life” is not about an average family, but the special people of this movie will bring tears and laughter to the audience.

Remember the casting rumor about KDW considering a lead role in Ant Hell, a film adaptation of Lee Hyun-se's 1999 comic book? Well the production company released an official statement on August 5th to squash this rumor as well as the one about Kim Min-Hee being offered the female lead. Below is my rough translation of the brief statement: 
Neither of the two actors were officially contacted or offered any role. Since the screenplay adaptation is not finished, anyone can be cast in the film. Lee Myung-Se, the director behind this adaptation, might have privately contacted KDW and KMH through friends, but such action is not a reflection of our position on the casting.
