insertusernamehere
this thread is so much fun <3 it's actually...scary how i bump into vietnamese everywhere on soompi, and in this thread i see a handful of familiar people lolz My first name and last name are impossible for non-vietnamese speakers to pronounce puahahaha, coz i don't think other languages have the phonemes "nh" and "ng". I always have so much fun correcting people, and everytime they get it wrong puahahahahaha now I goes by "Ni", like, "knee" T_T it sucks so much >< but what can we do? You guys' names are all pretty
Guest for3v3rlost
I don't see why alot of the viet ppl here don't like their names. I think u guys have better names then i do. I'm on my sisters soompi account.lol. But my full name is Hoang Bich Ngoc. I hate it though. I actually i 2 names. Ngoc or Nga. It's funny cause where ever i go ppl will be calling me different names and then they will be like "Her name is Ngoc!" "No it's not! It's Nga!" lol. My cousin said it meant diamond or jade or something. idk though.

Guest monchichi
Ngoc means Jade, and I think Nga means swan (like Thien Nga). Anyways... i think I've posted in this thread before but what the heck, eh? My full viet name is: Binh-An Thi Truong... I hear my name a lot in church because it means 'Peace', hahaha. My english name is simply Anne, and I like that a lot better than Binh An (they used to call me rubbish bin in high school!!) T_T
Guest Hiya
Mine is pretty simple. Just Vu Tran. I don't have a middle name or an English name so that's what people call me. It's kinda weird though because when they mispronounce it, it can sound like nipple .__. I really like my Vietnamese name though because I'm pretty much the only Vu people will ever know in their entire life and I don't have to share my name with anyone else and they don't ever have to ask "Which Vu?" when referring to me .
