so you know how like. people say oh plastic surgery are for people that are stuypid and just want to be pretty? dude. think about it. maybe they do want to be pretty. but changing just one thing doesn tmake you AMAZINGLY pretty. just makes you look "better" but to them they think they look GREATT!! and thats good because than they can raise their self-esteem.... and than they wont think theyre ugly anymore.... get it...

maybe im wrong, but if you look at it that way you think plastic surgery is good. LOL though its not GOODDDDD its good to some people just mentally and most people physically too(:

im not a regular anymore-o- i just found out that kimhyesung is officially FAMOUSSS. like parkhanbyul. hes on a show called golden fishery AND was in a movie. awesomenesss!(:

oh and min. no uniforn suckssss!!!!!!!!omg. and im only in middle school AND we have uniforms. its so ugly. its an ugly polo with dickies. you maky think thats pretty but we can only wear white black turqouise and marroon.-o- rarely ANYONE wears turquoise though. LOL

Compulsory? Not really... depends on what school u go to *looks at the lucki ppl hu go to Uni High* =.="

Apparantly people say that our uniforms make us look like trees. Green dress brown socks @__@

I think maybe should move to korea and wear their uniforms ^^

I think I have tried (with many others) to say this in a "nice way"...and it doesn't seem to get across at all.

Plastic surgery IS something to be "frowned upon". People are so insecure with how they look, and the plastic surgeons and media buys into that and how gullible everyone is. Everyone is so concentrated on looking good on the outside that they don't work on their inner self. Plastic surgery is also dangerous, and not too many people look at the consequences of it. The world is changing? For better or for worse? Going back to what conformists everyone is, if the world is becoming more superficial and praising people who have NO talent or have done NOTHING in their lives to merit praise or even have defense from random people who just like the way they look, I'd rather fall behind instead of being like everyone else.

Oh...and btw, plastic surgery is not "change" for the future. It has been present in the past for a long time, only it was an obsession with body of course (breast implants, liposuction, etc.) I suppose you're going to say these are okay because people are only trying to look "hot" and go with what is "change" these days. And I suppose, it's also okay to become anorexic and bulimic to be skinny since that is today's "change", and then people will be admired for looking so stick-thin because that is what people like you want to drool over. In my opinion, the pain that these people go through just to stereotype themselves to today's image is not worth it. Not a lot of people can put their minds above such superficial obsessions or see past it.

And when did I say the Korean culture was "pathetic"? I said this ulzzang mania and people who buy into it was pathetic. I am Korean myself and I love and am proud the culture, music, and dramas. I'm not exactly proud with how notorious we are for plastic surgery though, and the way some celebrities change their entire faces, but it's a different situation than normal people like ulzzangs. They are celebrity wannabes because they are changing to look exactly like Korean celebrities and what look is in right now which is a complete western look.

i just wanted to say this..not to start an oh so heated argument with you.. but like, if someone WANTS to have plastic surgery because they feel insecure about themselves, let them be. Some people think that the exterior appearance matters more, you might disagree but you should let them be entitled to their opinion too. After getting surgery, they'll feel better about themselves, boost their self esteem, whats that got to do with you? i certainly know that i would rather someone be happy about themselves. Happiness is hard to come by. Also, its very rude to say that they are "celebrity wannabes", now thats just too harsh, let people act the way they want, and they'll end up where ever it leads them. Some of them even lead up to being CELEBRITIES. and your statement of the "in" look being complete western look, i disagree.

Oh boy i feel some baoi hatred, but it's alright... Baoi's a mean mean person.. hehe

although i like jj. in my opinion, junal is someone i favor more.
