It doesn't surprised me if they film right on the day of the last episode.  It's common in k-drama isn't it?  Last time it was the same with Discovery of Romance. They filmed the last scene on the day of broadcast. Eric & Yumi were a bit late to get to their wrap-up party hence no pic of them arriving.

Random talks, I was lurking in ktown4u site which one of the site selling Shinhwa stuff and I'm so happy that Eric photobook selling in increased than last time. For A+B cover (74.59 USD) = 975 sold, cover A or B only (37.30 USD) = 1,505 sold out and poster (11.30 USD) = 674 sold out. And this is just from one site only. Remember there are like 5 international sites + more than 5 korean sites selling this before and all of them already sold out. Wow!!!! Eric actually already got huge money just by doing this photobook alone. I'm sure OHYA drama significantly increase the selling. Congrats to uri oppa. But I hope he won't release another photobook again. I prefer collaboration song or mini album

I don't see anything from K-fans. Did I miss something?

I haven't seen OHY for too long  But I'm still keeping up with the news. Glad that it's doing well. I notice the comments about Eric looking tired too, which is no surprise with the upcoming comeback and shooting for 2 episodes a week. Hope he will get enough rest before the comeback preparation begins.

@Phi Actually in every comments of OHYA in Naver articles, I keep seeing that he's having girl. Especially the articles that wrote about how strong chemistry of Richyun. But those comments always got many dislikes that's why no one notice it. Even in their Navercast clips. Did I tell you before that few months ago one fan saw Eric with the girl (they're holding hand) at night when she/he wanted to go to the direction of busway station? But, we don't know the truth XD Just like I said before, no confirmation means he's still available in the market....kkkk

Bless the heart of any man or woman who dates a celebrity..musician/actor/actress... In this case this woman not only has to endure watching Eric having all these passionate scenes with another woman and then she has to question if it's reel or real between her man and the actress, and then she has to endure all the fans opinions of wanting them to actually be together in real life...THAT PRESSURE, God bless her heart if she really exists...she has to be really confident and have high level of trust

If she's really exist, I really adore her. However, since we don't know the truth means he still free to be shipped with anyone...hahaha...

I also keep seeing the comments about how some viewers think Eric-Yumi chemistry is still better in some of OHYA articles too. So, I think some fans still can't move on with RIcMi and they start saying bad stuff about Hyun Jin. That's normal because all of us has our own fav ship....kkkkk

Hi Phi, ye, in K-drama writers are also occasionally late with their scripts; it has become habit to continually edit the script to optimize ratings. Despite the lack of sleep and last-minute script deliveries, the drama cast are able to keep going for the sake of ratings. K-dramas usually don’t have pre-written, full scripts. They have a basic plot and dialogue worked out but it can all change last minute. In the ratings war, producers tend to watch the audience’s reactions. If needed, the script will be modified, or even completely re-written. This places actors into a tough situation, as more often than not they would receive pages from a script a couple of hours or even minutes before shooting, while their hair or make-up is being done.

@willenette, thank god those that got script at the hours, minutes before filming while not rare, I'm glad it's not the majority.  How I wish they have a bit more lead time to film than the common 4 to 6 weeks before the broadcast of the 1st episode

Obviously this comes from the boost of Another Miss Oh's popularity but Eric is certainly a great catch.  He's not fussy, fair, considerate, funny, witty and cute.  Great husband & daddy materials.  And I'm not bias XD

 

160625 Which male celebrity do people most want to receive a proposal from? #2 Shinhwa Eric Mun

 

A survey was taken recently from June 1 to June 20 of which the results have come out now!

The topic in general was “If it were me, I’d want this type of proposal!” in the survey by Dnoble, a noblesse wedding information company.  411 single men and women over 22 years of age participated, choosing the star they most wanted to receive a proposal from.

In first place was Song Joong Ki with 34% (140 votes), followed by Eric Mun with 30% (123 votes).  Both grabbed a lot of positive attention for their roles in ’Descendants of the Sun’ and ’Oh Hae Young Again’ respectively.

In third place was Park Bo Gum with the cute, younger-man image.  He had 21% (86 votes), and was followed by Goo Hye Sun’s hubby Ahn Jae Hyun with 15% (62 votes). Other men included in the list were Kang Dong Won, Park Seo Joon, Park Hae Jin, and Yoo Seung Ho.

160619 ‘A gift for impatient viewers’… Oh Hae Young Again releases photos from storage. ‘Ddo yo il’ Found

The producers of tvN Mon-Tues drama ‘Oh Hae Young Again’ bulk-released behind the scene pictures on set, especially for the viewers waiting impatiently for the upcoming episodes.

 

 

Continuously receiving love for its same-name confusion and romance portrayal, ‘Oh Hae Young Again’ is maintaining its popularity and being complimented by the viewers for helping them forget about their ‘Monday Fever’. (Translator’s note: ‘Monday Fever’ refers to a fear Koreans have. They say Monday is the most discouraging day of the week, as you have to torture yourself with work/studies for 5 days straight until the weekends are finally here).  Among diehard fans, a new slang called ‘Ddo yo il’ has been made, which is a combination word for Monday and Tuesday. (Translator’s note: ‘Ddo yo il’ is a combined word referring to Oh Hae Young Again, Monday, and Tuesday.)

 

 

 

 

The pictures captured the main leads of the drama, Eric (Park Do Kyung) and Seo Hyun Jin (Oh Hae Young). The couple is receiving enthusiastic support from the viewers with the romantic scenes such as the famous ‘wall kiss’, ‘grilled shellfish kiss’, etc. According to the producers, Eric and Seo Hyun Jin are actors highly dedicated to the plot, and they are often found next to each other reading the script whilst sharing opinions and struggles of acting. Thanks to the constant interaction and practice, these two were able to get an OK sign in one go throughout the kiss scenes filming.

 

 

Eric and Lee Jae Yoon (Han Tae Jin) was captured in the next set of photos. Unlike the constantly conflicting and despising relationship portrayed in the drama, the pair was surrounded around a cheerful atmosphere.  Even throughout the scene when Oh Hae Young, Park Do Kyung, and Han Tae Jin gathered up in one place to expose one another’s secrets, ultimately resulting in a huge disaster, Seo Hyun Jin, Eric, and Lee Jae Yoon was found carefully monitoring the screen in a friendly atmosphere filled with laughter. It's interesting PD Hand pointing out that Eric's face looks different in different angles that it's harder for him to find the right one he likes.  I've come across many people couldn't recognize it's Eric Mun hahaha  I'm not sure if they don't know him well or just new fans... but I saw a lot of "OMG I didn't realized it's Eric from Shinhwa... or "I just realized it's Eric from Discovery of Romance".

I agree with PD Han, Eric's side profiles is the best!

PD Han spent 2 weeks to watch all of Eric's & Hyunjin's past dramas to find the best angles for them.  Such dedication to his works is just wow!  Didn't I say this team is awesome?!   I really hope Eric & Hyunjin as well as other cast will get to work with such dedicated people again.  I WILL MISS THEM LOT!!

 

2016.06.20 Cinematographer of ‘Another Miss Oh’ ①] “It was difficult to get Eric to look a certain way on camera.”

“It’s all thanks to the cameras!” (Eric)

This is how Eric, male lead of ‘Another Miss Oh’, thanked Cinematographer Han Donghyeon. Female lead Seo Hyeonjin also said, “It’s all thanks to Director Song Hyeonwook and Cinematographer Han Donghyeon that the video looks even better than I imagined when I read the script on paper.”  Regardless of who can be credited for the drama’s success, these well-known actors recently succeeded in being crowned 2016′s King and Queen of Roco Drama.

“Before we started shooting ‘Another Miss Oh’, I watched all of Eric and Seo Hyeonjin’s dramas across two weeks. The most important thing you have to consider when shooting the male and female leads are the angles. I watched all of their dramas and tried to figure out which angle would be the best for them.”

Instead of using multiple cameras, Director Han pushed forward with just one camera. “You can get good angles if you film with two or three cameras at a time too, but it’s better to use just one camera in the perfect angle with the perfect lighting. The leads are supposed to show their best sides, but if you start filming with two or three cameras at once, you kind of give that up.”

This is why Director Han watched all of Eric and Seo Hyeonjin’s previous dramas and tried to come up with the best angle. This skilled director confessed he actually found it most difficult to find a good angle for Eric.

“Eric’s face looks really different from different angles. Some angles don’t make him look as good as he can look. I thought hard about how I could make him colder. He was my biggest challenge.”

 

 

This is how the profile shots of Eric came to be his most favored angle. “I tried out various angles, and found that his side profiles and top-down angles were the best.”

As for Seo Hyeonjin, Director Han stated that he “focused on emphasizing her ‘ordinary’ yet lovely side.” He added, “I found that Seo Hyeonjin also had a really good left profile. The leads both looked good in yellow, too.”

Director Han has met many actors across his career, but he picked his most recent partner Eric as an actor that fits him, his work, and his visions well. Another actor Director Han picks as his favorite is Park Haejin. The two first met through the daily drama ‘By Land and Sky’ in 2007. “He’s the same person he was when he was still a rookie. He makes you feel comfortable when you see him through a camera.”

Director Han had a hard time finding an angle with Eric, but it was that much more rewarding. “At first it was so difficult, but once I found the right angle, every picture came out perfect. Eric says it’s all thanks to the cameras that he looks good, and people text me to tell me that ‘Eric looks so handsome’. I say it’s a perfectly balanced mix of the drama’s tone, the camera angles, and the actor himself that’s doing the trick.”
