Korea's popular Lee Jun Ki went to Taiwan on the 6th May to promote his latest movie “The King and the Clown”. He admitted that he studied and followed the performance of the Hong Kong’s superstar, the late Leslie Cheung when filming the movie. He also confessed that the kissing scene was ‘forced’ and he wasn’t comfortable.

Lee Jun Ki and his entourage of 7 people went to Taiwan for publicity purposes. At the press conference, he wore a black suit and red and black striped tie. The ear-rings which dangled from his ears were very eye catching. But Lee Jun Ki said: I like girls. I like to outdo others and succeed and am a very manly guy.’

When the singer, He Yi Qi dressed as Gong Gil and went on to stage to present the flowers to him, he faced the cameras for photo-taking, the photographers immediately experienced another side of Lee Jun Ki. He had an enchanting smile and very strong, lovely eyes. To this, Lee Jun Ki said: ‘I can make use of my face angle very well. The left side and right side may display different looks of warmth or sharpness.’

Initially, his friends asked him not to accept the K & C, however he ignored everyone and insisted on taking on the role. But he did not expect it to become so popular. In the movie, not only did he have to fall from the tight rope, he also had to fall off the horse. The most difficult part though was Gong Gil’s metrosexual feelings. For the suicide scene, he did not sleep well for 3 days. In another scene, he cried continuously for 7 hours. By the end of it, he was so tired and his tears had dried up.

A reporter asked him how was the feeling of being kissed by the King Yong San. Lee Jun Ki smiled and said: ‘Why don’t you asked the men present how they would feel being kissed by a guy next to them?’ The female reporters all laughed. Lee Jun Ki also let out that he was set up in filming that scene. He did not know about it when he was lying down. When King Yon San came up and kissed him, he had a shock and resisted him. The director had no choice but to call for a retake. ‘Although it wasn’t a comfortable feeling, but because he is my senior, I felt I should respect him.’

Lee Jun Ki laughed and said that he can only hope to kiss a girl in his next movie. Although many have said that he is pretty, he actually had no confidence in himself in the past. Now, many fans would take his photo and go to the plastic surgery clinics. Lee Jun Ki laughed and said: ‘It’s best not to do so. Plastic surgery is a fad, you may regret later.’

Hazel..I already planned for the fan meet before I came here. I requested for the ticket via a Korean friend and he called up Mentor and reserved one for me. So I extended my stay to 22nd. The girl who is in charge of Jun Ki's fan meet is very friendly and I also saw his manager who was with him in Shanghai. My friend saw the girl who was featured in the Grace MV,,the one in the hot balloon with him.

King and Clown is a simple story if you watch with subtitles, not that confusing. I need to watch again with subtitles to understand the mad king's behaviour and the evil plotting in the palace. Poor Gong Gil, the day he stepped into the palace, he lost his smile forever. But the ending caught me by surprise and I loved that. If only I have the time to go back for one more viewing, but I have two more concerts to catch until Sunday. Which reminds me...I hope cameras are allowed for the fan meet !

I will bring back extra bottls of the promegranate drink just in case any SG fans want one. My prized item is the drink poster !

junki_saranghae--I think those are his eyes. he looks differenrt from every angle.

And no, we (collectively)can't tell him what to do. He's not a doll to be moved into the positions WE want (obvious to me some people think so--no one here). I've had personal experience (parents both have been affected) with smoking--so I really hate it--especially in someone I care about.

Wendy unnie, actually I have planned go to Seoul for this event too, but too bad I can't asking for the entry visa since I'm not go for the businness or something like that...so hard for asking visa in my country, it's easy if you go with travel company only but so expensive! I'm so disappointed...But I to be sure will do it next year^^

Hi all..ajumma went back to watch K & C for the second time yesterday and was glad I did because I found out the ending was not as what I presumed it to be. My friend who is big time JJH (Shin) fan went with me for the 2nd viewing too. She now admires Junki a lot and told me that anyone who says her in her face that LJK is girly or feminine would get it from her !

But the ending is still sweet and fitting...I can't wait for the DVD ! Gam Woo Sung is a superb actor too and the guy who played the crazy king is also good. But still Gong Gil is an essential and important part of the whole movie.

I see his new promegranate CF here several times daily on TV stations and he is so cute and playful.

I went round to one of the shops that sells K-star stuffs and the ajumma recognised me immediately. She asked me if I am buying someone's stuff again and I shook my head and said LJK ! She said "Wae (why)? You don't want ..'s things ?" I told her I want Jun Ki's items and there were lots but I only bought small items (after all these are not official).

Went back to Giordano and they ran out of Jun Ki's posters. I am happy that I went early or else I would be deeply disappointed.

The K & C puppets that Gong Gil used to amuse the king are now out on sale since yesterday. I will go look and see if it's near anything in the movie or just imitation to cash on the K & C fever. Costs about SGD50.00 per pair.

Saw Altar Boyz last night and Kim Tae Woo is very, very good and amusing. Really miss G.O.D. like crazy ! Will be going out later to have lunch with long time close Korean friend and then FTTS concert tonight and then tomorrow...3 hours of Jun Ki !

When I read my friend's email that he already called Mentor ( I have to thank MythnoonA for the tel. no.) and my name was taken down for one ticket, I shrieked in delight and my hubby thought I had gone bonkers ! :blush: But I could not mention this till the ticket is actually in my hand on Thursday.

By the way..thanks to those who posted up Jun Ki's pictures to share again. Jun Ki looks good in any colour and fashion. You guys are wonderful !
