Hi there, I’m really addicted to this drama right now (much more than Encounter).

The storyline is so thrilling and sometimes I do get scared when I watch it late at night. I’m really crossing my fingers that everything makes sense in the end and I’m really glad they did all that overseas filming. It really makes me miss the European architecture and I’m really wondering when I will get a chance to visit Spain again – and I’ll have to visit the Spain film spots for Legends of the Blue Sea as well!

Similar to all my other drama posts, I will be needing some time to do the screengrabs from the drama + finding the address and should I stop halfway, it simply means that I’m too busy (it’s just the start of the year >_<) or I gave up watching the drama cause it went downhill. This KoreanDramaLand had been really efficient in sourcing for the locations so do head over to their website if you can’t find the information here.

In the drama, this station was known as Granada but in reality, Granada Station looks like that:

The film spot for the so called ‘Granada Station’ is situated somewhat along the outskirts of Barcelona. To be honest, prior to watching this drama, I’ve not heard of ‘Granada’ before, neither have I heard of Alhambra. The only two places I’ve visited in Spain is Barcelona and Madrid. No idea how and why the scriptwriters decide upon this city. I’m pretty sure screen tourism will result in an influx of tourists to Spain and the featured cities. Let’s see if the traction will be greater than my writeup of Legend of the Blue Seas..

 

Hostel Bonita = Restaurant la Penyora in Barri Vell, Girona

I have no idea how she (KoreanDramaLand) managed to find this location. It’s such a random restaurant along the streets.

Recalling the days where I searched almost every single street on Google Maps to look for that door in Quebec for the Goblin drama. It was pretty epic as I legitly used Google Street View and click on my mouse for a few hours before finding it. #memories

This cruise terminal (and cruise) has been featured in quite a number of dramas.. possibly a product placement stunt? Nevertheless, it seems like a pretty place (especially with all those christmas lights in christmas) and i guess a cruise down Han River should be a must-do when you’re in Seoul! Yes, this was the cruise featured in ‘my love from the star’ the doo min joon drama feat. jeon jihyun (my fav actress) + kim soo hyun.

Giordano Concept Store @ Cheongju

This Giordano outlet shares the same building as Korea Developmenet Bank (KDB) and it is beside a CGV cinema. According to the footages, it seems pretty legit that the scenes of the shop were filmed here too. Not so sure for the fitting room scene as well but I think the chances are pretty high.

** Apologies for not completing this article. Wanted to work on it more but realized that others have already done a great job and mine would just be repeated information. Now that I’m done with this drama, does any one have any other dramas to recommend?

Anyway, how did you guys find the ending? I got a little frustrated the moment it ended but on hindsight, after thinking a lot about it, I felt that it kind of made sense. Cmon, we gotta be fair to the scriptwriters. If every single drama ends up with a happy ending – that’s like so predictable.. Let’s respect the scriptwriters for staying true to their art, and not always giving in to what the consumers want. I truly enjoyed this drama and I felt that the plot was exciting, intense and I do get scared when I watch it late at night when all the lights are off.. Although I’m not a gamer, I could understand the terms pretty decently and I’m praying hard that the game ain’t becoming a reality cause the world might just get addicted (look at Pokemon Go). Oh wells~~ Do share with me your thoughts too!

Only 4 in 10 S. Korean women in favor of marriage

 

 

The ratio of South Korean women who are in favor of getting married fell sharply last year from a decade ago, government data showed Monday, a trend that is blamed for the country's chronically low birthrate.

The data compiled by Statistics Korea said that 43.5 percent of women said last year that they should get married, down from 61.6 percent in 2008 and 67.9 percent in 1998.

In April, the number of people getting married came to 20,000 in April, the lowest for any April since 1981, when the statistics agency started compiling data.

The statistics agency said that 3.8 percent of South Korean women said last year that they are against tying the knot, up from 1.6 percent in 1998.

The data is the latest reminder of the declining trend in marriage in Asia's fourth-largest economy plagued by the chronically low birthrate for more than a decade.

In 2018, South Korea's total fertility rate ― the average number of children a woman bears in her lifetime ― hit a record low of 0.98, much lower than the replacement level of 2.1 that would keep South Korea's population stable at 51 million.

The decline in childbirths comes as some young South Koreans are opting to distance themselves from life's three major milestones ― dating, marriage and having children ― because they cannot find decent jobs amid a prolonged economic slowdown.

Other factors are the high cost of private education for kids and skyrocketing home prices, as well as the difficulties women face in finding jobs after spending extended time away from work to raise children. (Yonhap)

But what I'm trying to say is it could have been much more awesome, these two couple pairing is like a bomb.. Both are good looking, emotionally good at acting, charming, they drew so much attention just with few scenes together. And I'm sure we all watched it only because of PSH. 

My point is if there were more and better scenes it would have be awesome.. Out of the world. And I myself would have shipped them hard. That's the only thing which is stoping me from shipping. 

 

For me MOA is like a hidden/lost/forgotten treasure, I was hurt by the ending, Just like you. I expected more, but it's okay. I don't want to go back to it. 

 

All I wish is they both staring together in a movie.
