STUDIO X+U’s new omnibus horror series “Tarot” has unveiled new stills featuring Ham Eun Jung and Kim Sung Tae!

“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards. The second episode titled “Couple Manager” stars Ham Eun Jung and Kim Sung Tae, and they will each play Eun Mi and Min Chan, a couple that is about to get married.

The newly released character poster creates a chilling atmosphere just with the facial expression of Eun Mi, who appears to be frightened by something.

A new still that were released along with the poster captures Eun Mi talking to a man other than her boyfriend Min Chan.

STUDIO X+U’s upcoming thriller drama “Tarot” has unveiled a teaser highlighting seven eerie stories!

 

“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.

In the new teaser, the episode “Santa’s Visit” portrays working mom Ji Woo (Jo Yeo Jeong), gripped with fear upon hearing that Santa Claus visited her home while talking to her daughter Mina, who was alone on Christmas. Next, in “Couple Manager,” Min Chan (Kim Sung Tae) feels anxious as his girlfriend Eun Mi (Ham Eun Jung) hesitates about marriage. He receives an offer from a mysterious couple manager promising to match him with a girlfriend on the same social status.

 

Meanwhile, veteran rider Dong In (Dex), hearing rumors of a missing deliveryman, ventures to a remote location for a delivery and encounters a suspicious customer in “Please Throw It Away.” “Rent Mom” follows the story of Young Ji’s mom (Park Ha Sun), who is overlooked by parents in a luxury apartment complex due to her rental unit.

 

Additionally, in “Going Home,” Kyung Rae (Go Kyu Pil) becomes extremely anxious after hastily taking a late-night taxi and overhearing the driver’s unsettling phone call on a secluded mountain road. In “Phishing,” BJ Ssunja (Oh Yu Jin), known for her daring broadcasts, plans a show where she tricks and troubles men but ends up falling into someone’s trap, gripped by fear. Finally, in “Single Locker,” Jae Yoon (Seo Ji Hoon), who is attractive but hindered by an insecurity that prevents serious relationships, maintains a mysterious bond with Ji Oh (Lee Joo Bin), an unknown woman, through an unmanned storage locker.

“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.

 

Jung Young Joo, known for her roles in recent hit dramas such as “Lovely Runner” and “Miss Night and Day,” will star in the episode “Couple Manager.” She portrays a couple manager who specializes in matching people based on a sophisticated grading system. Her encounter with Min Chan (Kim Sung Tae) and his girlfriend Eun Mi (Ham Eun Jung) sets off unexpected turns that deeply affect their relationship.

 

In the episode “Going Home,” veteran actor Lee Moon Shik, renowned for his diverse roles across various genres, will showcase his acting prowess alongside Go Kyu Pil. Go Kyu Pil plays Kyung Rae, who experiences intense anxiety after hastily taking a late-night taxi and overhearing the taxi driver’s unsettling phone call on a secluded mountain road. Lee Moon Shik takes on the role of the mysterious taxi driver Doo Chul, who traps Kyung Rae in a terrifying situation.

 

Lastly, Kim Ki Lee will feature in the episode “Phishing,” where BJ Ssunja (Oh Yu Jin) plans a broadcast show aimed at tricking and troubling men but ends up falling into someone else’s trap. Kim Ki Lee will portray Kyung Tae, BJ Ssunja’s manager responsible for overseeing the show and editing. The newly released video starts with the actors sharing their thoughts on the drama. Jo Yeo Jeong expresses how she wanted to appear in all episodes when she first read the script, while Go Kyu Pil teases that the drama will be tense and interesting. Furthermore, Dex remarks, “What happens in the drama is what any Korean living in a city might have thought at one point. So I think it will provide plenty of chilling moments.”

“Tarot” unfolds as a series of seven omnibus horror episodes delving into mysterious events that could be part of anyone’s everyday life, all centered around the theme of tarot cards. The plot kicks off as the main characters each receive different tarot cards, and in that moment, find their destinies cursed by the twisted tarot cards.

The highly anticipated episode of “Please Throw it Away” marks Dex’s acting debut. The episode follows Dong In, a veteran rider known as the delivery king, as he faces eerie and unsettling horror.

The newly released stills from “Please Throw it Away” grab attention with its tense atmosphere, hinting at the shocking curse awaiting Dong In. In the story, Dong In, who dreams of starting his own delivery business, works tirelessly around the clock. One day, during a delivery to a mysterious location, he receives a strange request from a suspicious customer to dispose of some trash. Dong In’s strained expression as he tries to control his anger, along with his shocked reaction while checking his phone with a colleague, builds curiosity about the terrifying challenges he will encounter.

Screenwriter Kyung Min Sun praised Dex, stating, “As soon as I heard he was cast, I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role. It was a perfect fit.” She added, “The tension from a thin door and the dramatic ending are key highlights of ‘Please Throw it Away.’” She continued, “As I was writing the script, I was eager to see how the final scene would unfold. It turned out to be a surprising and satisfying twist. I hope viewers will watch it for themselves.”
